1761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Artur Beterbiev vs Adam Deines Unified Light Heavyweight Title on: March 21, 2021, 03:36:43 AM
Beterbiev hits like a mule and a fight against Canelo would be very intriguing. One of the things he has going against him is his lack of activity and his age. He is already 36 years old and still has under 20 fights. He is very robotic in his style and it will be easy for Canelo to land punches on him. He will have to use his offense to break Canelo down and look for a late KO.
1762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news for Nigerian crypto enthusiast on: March 21, 2021, 02:45:01 AM
I hope this has a favorable resolution for the people of Nigeria. Their government knows that they can't really ban bitcoin and if they did people would just choose another currency as a store of value, such as the US dollar.

If they create their own government backed crypto then it would have the same problems as the current fiat currency, so bitcoin offers the best option for the people of Nigeria.
1763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: he pays 5000 € for a bitcoin transfer on: March 21, 2021, 12:55:01 AM
That much fees is simply super expensive and not sustainable in the long run! I see the sender paid 107 Sat per byte fees which is less than the current fees required. As per the below calculator, the current required fees is 111 Sat per byte.

https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/fee-calculator/

So the sender paid less than required feès which is 11% of the total transaction value! What a joke! Same goes with ETH as well! There is a good reason why altcoins are moving fast upto the queue!

He could've probably waited and paid a much lower fee.

Altcoins are not a good substitute. You are putting a lot of information on the blockchain and it is reasonable for them to pay a bigger amount. Having expensive fees is the cost of being decentralized instead of having to trust 27 super nodes like Tron does.

Is there a telegram group I can join for the FUN token ?

I want to be more involved in the community but the thread here at bitcointalk doesn't seem very active

You can find all the info here:

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/funfair/

There you can find their official website, community and chat links (discord and telegram), even if @FunFair_Official at telegram seems offline.

(do not blindly trust links posted by others, always verify at official channels)

That information is kind of outdated now that FreeBitco.in took over this token. The websites listed on CoinMarketCap belong to the old FunFair project.

The new website that is run by FreeBitco.in is FunToken.io and their telegram is https://t.me/officialFUNToken. They also have a new Discord server which is fairly active and have done some giveaways.
1765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Considering huge transaction fees, what coins to support on new gambling site? on: March 20, 2021, 05:07:46 AM
Dogecoin has always been a popular choice and so has litecoin. Almost every casino that supports altcoins supports these two currencies. There are some coins with higher market caps but they are primarily used for smart contracts so not very many people use them for gambling. Doge and LTC's main purpose has been to avoid high fees. Doge is also very popular right now so you might as well take advantage of that since people will be looking for places where it is an accepted currency.
1766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter hackers pleads guilty and agree to a 3 year in prison on: March 20, 2021, 04:05:06 AM
The amount of BTC that he gained from this hack would be worth over half a million dollars so this is not such a terrible deal but I still don't think he should do any prison time at all. Nobody forced users to send him their bitcoins and it was Twitters fault that they didn't have adequate security. The only thing he did wrong in my eyes was that he violated the terms of an agreement he made when he was caught in a 2019 bitcoin theft.
1767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wrapped Doge? on: March 19, 2021, 11:27:12 PM
Ot seems kind of counterintuitive to wrap your dogecoin to put it on the ethereum blockchain and end up paying hundreds of times more in transaction fees.

Fees are the biggest obstacle but there are probably many ways in which doge could be used in the defi ecosystem.

Maybe I missed this but does anyone know what blockchain Betfury will use for the merged BFG token?
Betfury issued BFG on the Tron blockchain. It's a little weird, but I found two different BFG tokens. One of these BFG was issued in 2019, and the total supply of this token is five bn. Another BFG was issued in January 2021 with the same description, but the total supply is only five mln.

I wonder if they will decide to migrate to a new blockchain or if they will be on multiple blockchains. Binance Smart Chain and Ethereum are more popular right now so it would be worth exploring those possibilities. There are not a lot of exchanges where you can trade TRC20 tokens.
1769  Economy / Securities / Re: I need investor. We can start with $50 or $25! 100x return within a month! on: March 18, 2021, 11:58:50 PM
For $10 you're not going to be registering very valuable domains. I don't see why it is necessary for anyone to give you money because anybody can purchase a domain and then resell it at whatever price they want. What exactly is unique about what you are offering?

If you just want a few dollars then you should work for it. Join some signature or bounty campaign on the forum.
1770  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Freebitco.in scam me 0.004 bitcoin on: March 18, 2021, 09:31:18 PM

I ask someone else to scan with avast his fingerprint on his pc and he get same fingerprint on 2 pc, pc are connected to different ISP, both different configuration, this is discutable and can bring a lot of problems, how many active users share same fingerprint in your website now?

Regarding that 35 guys have same fingerprint as me is either clear a mistake or tools that give same fingerprint either just a sand in the eyes to have reason to block

So you are saying that you use anti-tracking software? The point of this software is to hide amongst the crowd. Self-referring would defeat the purpose of using these tools because then you are only trying to hide among a crowd made up entirely of yourself.

If there is a rule say can't roll 24 times a day tell me where it is?

The first rule in the site's terms of service is do not use bots. It's on the sign up page. If you are rolling 24 times a day then you are obviously using a bot.
1771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have concluded that all governments together can't stop bitcoin on: March 18, 2021, 01:01:42 AM
We've heard so many stories of governments banning bitcoin and it has not made a very significant impact. We have also seen increased regulation. They might discourage adoption to some extent but bitcoin has become too large that it cannot be suppressed. Even a country as powerful as the US can't do anything meaningful at this point because there are major companies are invested in bitcoin's success. The negative repercussions would outweigh any potential benefit from banning bitcoin.
1772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do not trade Alts with BTC these days, You will just lose on: March 17, 2021, 10:50:51 PM
If you have some altcoins sitting around then it is fine if you trade them for BTC. I had been holding some dogecoin and litecoin for a while that I used for gambling. After the recent dogecoin pumps I decided to just exchange everything for bitcoin and made a nice profit.

I took an interest in trying to build my referral numbers up these past few days through shilling and what not, and I was able to accrue 20 of them thus far.

https://i.imgur.com/CpAfY9J.png

But the grand problem here is that all of them just sign up, take a spin at the free roll, and forget about the website altogether. So my question is: How were you guys able to get such engaging referrals that actually take advantage of the Multiply BTC section?

I'd also love to know about your referral statistics as well, to sort of gauge where I'm standing at in this situation Grin

I have 179 referrals and only 10 of them are active. I've had the same amount of referrals for a while now and the amount of active users has remained constant. I think sharing back some profits to referrals and the site having more features is what's keeping these 10 users engaged.
1774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Will Coinbase list Dogecoin? on: March 17, 2021, 12:06:42 AM
It is just a matter of time before dogecoin is listed on Coinbase. There is a lot more demand for it than a lot of the other random shitcoins they have on their exchange. They are missing out on a lot of profits already by not having it listed. It just makes sense to include doge on their platform.
1775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Signal app accepts Bitcoin Donations on: March 16, 2021, 09:38:44 PM
Very good news. There are other privacy oriented services out there that already accept Bitcoin donations such as the Tor Project. There are also VPNs and text verification services that accept is for payment. Bitcoin users tend to care about privacy which is why this is a natural fit. I suspect we will see more services joining in and allow users to pay with BTC.

FUN Token Joins Hands With BETR Foundation to Promote Decentralized Gaming

FUN Token, the ERC20 token that FreeBitco.in recently acquired, has reached an agreement with the BETR Foundation to merge the BETR token with FUN.

FUN Token seeks to take advantage of the technology and expertise developed for BETR in a bid to bring decentralized gaming and peer-to-peer betting to the masses.

As part of the transaction, FUN Token will acquire all technology developed for BETR and key personnel from BETR will be assimilated into the FUN Token team. BETR CEO Adriaan Brink will assume the role of FUN Token CEO.

BETR holders will be able to switch their BETR for FUN through an automated swap system which will cause the BETR tokens to be burned in exchange for FUN. BETR will eventually be delisted from exchanges.

This is one of several initiatives in the pipeline by FUN Token as it plans to make decentralized and provably fair gaming a mainstay in the online gambling scene.

Have you purchased FUN Tokens yet? If not, click here to Buy FUN Token at FreeBitco.in.

This must be why the price was pumping today.

Is it just me but did multiply btc part suddenly started to be a lot more cpu requesting? I know that must be wrong, I must be doing something wrong for sure, if that was something wrong I am sure that everyone would have been talking about that without a doubt.

However for the past 3 days whenever I try to gamble on the multiply part of the website it starts to actually use CPU a lot when that animation starts, the animation doesn't stop, I get a "request timed out" message and that is how the game ends and it causes my computer to be +10 degrees hotter and I have hard time closing the website down, I click multiple times and wait and maybe 10-15 seconds later it closes.

I know that can't be a problem with the website because it is such a big problem that if it was constant I am sure thousands of people would be complaining about it here, so that must be from me, but I do not know why it is just here, what could be the issue?

I haven't really noticed anything specific to FreeBitco.in, but I did have a Windows update that took forever to install and was making my PC laggy every time I did anything more intense than just browsing. You should check if there are any updates installing in the background and then run an antivirus scan.

I'm sure many of us also stop from doing the auction.
You're probably right, and the amount of burning BFG tokens from the auction will decrease significantly after merging subtokens. Nonetheless, some users still bid a huge amount of BFG tokens on the auction to get a couple of thousand sats.
-

Wow, that's a lot of BFG tokens for just only about 2k+ satoshis. They couldn't wait for this token to list in exchanges. I think, if you will let that amount of BFG(BTC) tokens to stake, you will get more than 2k+ sats plus other coins. Though of course, you need to wait for few days. But for me, it is worth staking rather than joining these auctions where your tokens are exchanged to cheap price. That's my take on this. But it depends of course on the player's preferences.
Could you (or someone else) explain me what are BFG(BTC) and BFG(TRX) "subtokens" precisely please? Because I don't understand what is it and I don't find any explanation about that anywhere. Why there are 2 kind of BFG tokens and what are they used for exactly?

BFG(TRX) is given as a reward for gambling with coins based on the Tron blockchain. Betfury was originally a Tron casino. They have now added BTC and coins from other blockchains. Gambling with these other coins will reward you in BFG(BTC).
1778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Dogecoin reach 1$ soon? on: March 16, 2021, 02:39:39 AM
There is too much supply of this coin available so it is not something that we will see anytime soon. The only way it could happen would be if inflation gets too out of control making the dollar less valuable, then every coin would see large gains so it would not be so impressive.
1779  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HashFlare on: March 16, 2021, 12:58:20 AM
They've done some scammy things in the past like introducing KYC and changing the length of contracts from lifetime to one year. They have disappeared from social media and all of their contracts are out of stock. I'm not sure if they are still in operation.
1780  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: My suffering with FreeBitco.in- support on: March 14, 2021, 11:58:09 PM
On 5-11-2020 I deposited in my account with them 49512 DOGE and it became the number  52629.56299995 DOGE after I won in HI- LOW Dice Game and then I asked to withdraw my balance, so they confirmed the withdrawal, but with a small fee in order for the transfer to remain suspended or not confirmed

 https://live.blockcypher.com/doge/tx/597951582888af72d66be94917fc111b5f9db3843ba8cc7f9715c6470a7841d
and the situation continued to this situation for about a month ....and tried  the method the child pays for  parents ..In order to move the pending transaction
It didn't work and the transaction was pending and unconfirmed until it disappeared from the network
Then it came back to them again....Then FreeDoge.co.in closed.
I filled out the FreeDoge.co.in Redemption form

It is assumed that it reaches the balance after 7 days But I didn't get anything from them Until now
And tried to contact @TheQuin  It was a completely unconvincing response   (It'll be paid as soon as we can fix the doge wallet)
Then I offered them to convert my balance of 52680 doge to BTC  And this  also did not work with them
Is anyone answering to help me

They recently launched the premium membership program and took control of the FUN token. I imagine updating their dogecoin software is not at the top of their priorities at this moment. Repeatedly spamming the forum with the same complaint isn't going to move things faster.
