1781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Signature campaign increase ICO credibility? I see few good ICOs recently on: October 21, 2020, 11:19:59 PM

sig campaign may increase the visibility here in the forum but as others have said, credibility depends on the team handling it. even if it is handled by reputable manager in the forum, if the team will not do their part, the failure is always forthcoming. as the manager can only handle the campaign and the team is fully responsible in realizing their objectives, the final ball is still on them.
the success of the project depends on the resilience and sincerity of the team. and to what extent they are willing to undertake in accomplishing their mission. because most projects wane their enthusiasm as time goes by, up until they totally abandon the project. most of them are only active at the initial stage but when it comes to actual application, very few can achieve that stage.
Basically, it is just another tool to make it known by many people. The team will be the one to decide and the one who will be making their move towards the success or if they even have the plan to be one of the successful project. Even if it is handled by known manager, it is still depends on how they will do at the end.
1782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust Active telegram Groups? on: October 20, 2020, 10:56:23 PM
If the Telegram groups are active, then this is good so that everyone, by asking questions, can eliminate their fears and find out whether this project will achieve successes or not, if any project group is active on Telegram and they answer people's questions, this does not mean that they may fulfill their promises, and we must not rely entirely on Telegram groups in making an investment decision.
Not because the telegram is active it means that it is good already. There are instances that the telegram being active is just an act to take advantage of the member of the group. They will always try their best to look like a legit project even without the goal of succeeding the project.
1783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Towards another gambling site. on: October 20, 2020, 09:52:29 PM
My question is: there is something to learn about roulette gambling, or just luck in this game.
It is base on pure luck. There are some gamblers who have tried to make their own strategies, tricks, or what, but what I know is this is just for temporary or more like they believe that their certain strategy was the reason why they can win but the truth is, they just got lucky.
1784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think we have more bounty hunters now because of the pandemic on: October 19, 2020, 10:58:43 PM
We only have a few bounty, so I don't think that we have more bounty hunters now. Bounty hunting is also not reliable source of income nowadays, and most of the time, it takes time before they send the reward for bounty hunters, that is something that they cannot wait by those affected of this pandemic.
1785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling thoughts. on: October 19, 2020, 10:15:14 PM

Do you ever asked yourselves these things?
1. Which one do you prefer, Casino gambling or online gambling?
2. How much money are you willing to spend on gambling?
3. How do you manage your lose streak or win streak?
4. If you will have $1000, what game in the casino you are going to play?
5. What is the best advice that you can give to a gambler?

-Preferably in a gambling casino, the vibe is really different than playing online,
-Only the amount of money I can take to lose, I always try to limit myself in gambling since there are chances that I might start to spend mo money on it.
-If I continuously lose my bet, I always try to stop myself, I might lose control if I continue to gamble. The same as having a win streak, I better stop myself to avoid losing all my winnings.
-Probably slots
-Just enjoy the game and do not mind if you lose, you set only the amount of money that you risk to lose and if you spend it already, stop yourself and leave immediately.
1786  Economy / Economics / Re: Government slowly open the economy, will it make the pandemic worst? on: October 19, 2020, 09:30:21 AM

The question is that are we really going to improve the economy?

Or make covid19 transmission worst of their decision?

In my opinion opening the economy even further right now will just increase the corona cases very fast. The problem we are facing right now is the second wave of the pandemic. In Europe for example every country is reporting rising corona cases and we can't really open the economy anymore. On the otherside we also can't have another lockdown this year. All the countries here are experiencing negative growth in GDP. We just can't afford another closing down of the economy. It's very hard to balance off human lifes vs the economy, but we need to find a mix.
Opening of the economy will indeed increase the number of cases of the corona but there is no other choice but to save the economy than keeping everyone inside their houses. This is the only solution since even if people will be ordered to stay on their home, they will only suffer from hunger and might die due to that reason.
1787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: the cheater bounty participants began to act again on: October 16, 2020, 01:12:49 PM
so I invite all of you to do the same by double-checking the bounty spreadsheet that you are following and if you find your social media profiles on other bitcointalk accounts to give negative trust
Common accounts who are using other peoples social media profiles are those newbies. Even if they will be given a negative trust, they can just create another account and participate over and over again. The best practice is to increase your requirements in ranks and have more strict rules. This way, newly created accounts will not be able to participate and you can at least decrease the possible participants of your campaign.
1788  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing Poker.com on: October 16, 2020, 11:14:03 AM
I once played there, but left because the interface was changed after the update and I was tired of figuring out what was going on. In addition, for the first two days after that, their server constantly crashed and I could not enjoy the game to the full.

Why did you give Bump to this old and inactive thread?
Do you really even play their?
If you are a true Gambler and want to play poker, then avoid these type of websites.
Better go for trusted ones.
And if possible don't also try to use any your essential information on the site.
They may phish your account details too.
There are many Gambling sites with good reputation present here, spend your time there.
The site that was being introduced is not an actual gambling site, it is just one of the poker review site. Basically, you cannot play or you don't need to avoid this type of website. There will be no information being taken as there will be no information being provided or given to them. You are asking him if he ever played in that site even though you didn't even visit yourself.

1790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with 1000% Plus Profits on: August 28, 2020, 08:38:55 PM
Low volume currency , they can easily manipulate the price by giving fake trades and increase the price that way. Its not an honest trading views this just manipulated by owner or one of the supply holders so they can exit with high profit selling it to other traders.

No legitimate currency can give that profit in a day only shit coins do that.
So, If I want to invest in this, is it going to be a waste or I can have profit as well? Thanks.
It depends, but you will be facing a huge risk. As he said, it has a low volume currency, it is being manipulate. If you ride the wave, the possibility for you to lose your investment is very high. If you can take the risk for the sake of making a profit, that will be depend on your decision. But the outcome is unknown and will always depends on your own action.
1791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: August 25, 2020, 10:47:29 PM
Apart from the obvious things like greed and lack of proper research there are just too many gullible investors and scammers are taking advantage of them. Too many investors want to make quick money.
Usually the people that have no idea about how investment work and those naive people who think they are the chosen one and when they invest they will make it big but the reality turns out to be quite the opposite. Thse kind of people are endless and I don't expect the victim of scammer to significantly reduced anytime soon.
That's one of the reason also of why they easily scam that have no idea about investment or trading so in the they are losing money of the way it make. On when we are new in investing we need have time to search or have plan before we doing that things. And also being greedy one of the worst also mistake if we are not careful of what project want to invest.
Yes, that's the common reason actually. People tend to do investing if it was suggested by the other people or someone they know without knowing anything about the project of making research. They keep on getting greedy just because a friend of theirs was told that by investing, they can get easy money.
1792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to escape loss as an altcoin trader on: August 25, 2020, 09:26:48 PM
I want to assume that there are few people, who make several profits from trading altcoins, but sell their profit to bitcoin, and then over time while holding bitcoin, it dumps and their profits dips alongside bitcoin.

Why not do it this way ?
Since you trade mostly in altcoins, as soon as your make your profits, sell them to stable coins or fiats, close that trade chapter.

If you are passionate about hodling bitcoin, always convert to usdt or other stable coins and be patient for a fair entry point. Because the market isn't running away

What do you think everyone ? is there a better pattern that can be practiced?

I am open to more suggestions.
Some traders are already doing this, they always find their way to make a way of saving their assets than losing it. But, there is no way to escape loss, even the strategy you suggested that was already been used by other traders is not enough to escape loss. There's still a percentage where you will lose in trading depends on the movement of the market.
1793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Always consider and be a wise investor! on: August 23, 2020, 10:03:41 PM
Being wiser is not enough since there are many factors when it comes to cryptocurrencies. Although I do agree if you have a good mindset from a wise investor, you will fare much better compared to without it.
So, what do you think an investor needs aside from being wise and thinking more than twice before investing? As I know, what makes you a wise investor is you keep on thinking, looking for an answer t your questions or simply making research, and will think again if you will take the risk or not.
1794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No exchange? No Value! on: August 23, 2020, 09:34:33 PM
There are no updates on this project and of course this project can be said to be over, so the coins you have in your wallet will not be valuable, save it maybe in the future there will be a miracle..
There is no update because the project is dead. There is no future and there will be no future developments for this project anymore. The coins bought by OP is no value now, there is no point of saving it because even if a miracle comes, this project will still be useless as it is right now.
1795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The new drama has started in Altcoin on: August 23, 2020, 08:59:35 PM
What we have experiencing in crypto is just normal. It is not something that we should consider as dramatic condition since it have been happening all the time. Just do nothing, always be patient and wait for the right timing. Getting a ride with the wave of the crypto is very risky, that's why we should never take an action on its every movement.
1796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping my coins because.. on: August 23, 2020, 08:24:40 PM
So what is or are your reason why you are dumping your coin?
The only reason is because it is my bounty. I wanted to use that bounty coin to my benefit. If I don't dump my coin then what is the point of joining bounty campaign. Every bounty hunters are dumping their coins and I don't see any point of having a reason why we all do that. That's how bounty works, after you receive your bounty, you will sell it.
1797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Think before joining any campaign on: August 22, 2020, 11:22:59 PM
That's a good thing when you learn something yourself, especially now that the majority of bounties are scams. Be smart in choosing a project, see who is behind the project, a clear roadmap, etc.

Some hunters just promote any project without doing some necessary findings before delving in. I came across a project asking people to deposit ETH in their wallet before getting their tokens and some members still participate in that campaign. At least we should always apply common sense before joining any campaign. Check if the project has backings, check the team behind the project at least.
I do agree, most hunters do participate and accept every terms of every project without knowing if the project is suspicious or not. They do not review projects as long as the project has a large amount of bounty offer. They still participate even if the project is most likely a scam.
1798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins for bounty hunters on: August 22, 2020, 04:18:05 PM
This is not possible. Bounty projects pays bounty hunter with their own token because they don't have the money to pay for hunters. They don't do anything like spending money coming from their pockets, or what.
Also, their reasoning of bounty hunter are killing the projects? It is just pure nonsense, it is just their way to avoid questions of why the price of their coin suddenl drop wherein, most of the time, they are the sole reason.
1799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Governments cannot control Bitcoin on: August 22, 2020, 03:53:25 PM
The governments can't control Bitcoin because it is decentralized. It wasn't made in favour of a centralized system where one person or authority can have full power and control over its transaction. The farthest the governments can go is to impose regulations on Bitcoin transactions especially on the exchange sites.

Totally agree with you. Despite the regulations of the government of many countries, they cannot control the way people transact their cryptos. The decentralized nature of many cryptos make it hard for government to control them. Instead, they impose regulations to aid people in transacting their crypto assets.
Yes, that is their only solution. Since they cannot control the bitcoin, they will control or implement some rules and regulations to the people who uses bitcoin. That way, they can at least show their power, they control the usage of people and makes it as their advantage over it.
1800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why You Think That Your Coin/Token Will Grow? on: August 18, 2020, 09:18:39 AM
Because I do believe that the history will repeat itself. What happened during 2016-2017 will also happen sooner or later. I just believe in ethereum that's why I know it will grow, just like what we are seeing right now, ethereum continues to grow.
