1801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots 101: Basics, Strategies, and Discussion (with poll) on: February 02, 2023, 09:24:02 PM
Some time ago I tried to play slots out of curiosity and have never been able to profit from slots.
Because I'm not really interested in slot games, I just do regular spins with the lowest nominal of about 30 spins and I experience a loss there, even if it's just a little. Then I try to buy free spins and get 15 spins.
From there I can get back my previous losses and still have some profit left.
What I want to question is whether it is true that the method or strategy of doing ordinary and detrimental spins first is only then we can get the jackpot from slot games.
Slots by design are made as complete money burners. I have won a couple gamea of slots but not so much to cover my losses, because they literally rig these systems to not be probabilistic and always favor the house. And for good reason too coz the entry price for slots are immensely cheap compared to other casino games. No real strategy can win you a game of slots. Techniques like not pulling the lever all th way down, etc are all but placebos made by people who won big in these games. Of course those won't work because if they do we'd have a sea of people who are winning from slots alreafy.
1802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury - February 25 in Saudi Arabia on: February 02, 2023, 08:33:01 PM
Jake Paul is 25 years and Tommy Fury is 23 years old, considering some physical factors and previous matches Fury might emerged the winner but due to weight and age advantage I won't be surprised seeing Paul winning over the fight, although Fury history has a better chance than Jake. So if I where to bet I would placed Fury to take over the fight against Paul.

Could the above data just summarized information about the matches?

Undeniable that Jake is strong he  prove that on his past fights but Tommy Fury is professional boxer with smooth record with 50% K.O percentage for sure this will be heavy opponent for Jake to defeat. I will choose fury for this match since I think he's record/experience and youth can give him more better chances to be the winner on this match.
He packs a punch. Tommy idk really because I haven't paid attention to him but I'm willing to bet that he will have a very bad time fighting Jake. As much as we hate to admit it Jake is an experienced fighter by definition, and he's not sloppy in the ring either. If this was a fight against a pro boxer that is not past his retirement like most of Jake's opponents this will not end well for Jake. But seeing as this Tommy guu haven't had any professional fights himself, couple that with your aforementioned weight and possibly reach difference and it's easy to predict that Jake's bagging this win.
1803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best ways to source online gambling affiliates (New Casino) on: February 02, 2023, 07:41:45 PM
I'm not exactly sure what you are referring to, not sure which agent you are talking too. But casinos, at the beginning, usually use email marketing to reach the potential gamblers. I have seen a few casinos to collect a big amount of email list at the beginning and use them to get some good deals.
Also, back in the days, twitch streamers were given big fund by casino which they must have to go through some requirements to be eligible to withdraw. Streamers have to use the fund to play live and attract gamblers.
Well, do you know this bitcointalk forum has a lot of high rollers too? Yeah, I know few of them. You have to run marketing campaign here to build up the reputation and offer some great benefits to attract high rollers from here. Feel free to PM me regarding any type of bitcointalk marketing campaign. I can help you with my years of experience in the related field.
I don't get it that much either but from the sound of it it looks like he's looking to partner up with an established or an up-and-coming casino through affiliate programs, much like how B2B businesses like Amazon set up such to expand their reach over platforms. I tbink he wants to be a part of one or of many and use it as a form of money source coz AFAIK these types of things when done right, are bound to give good cashflow. Marketing campaigns through signature campaigns are one of the most successful ways we can sell a casino to the public but I don't think he's cut for it, or at least what he's looking for.
1804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: QUESTION: For Gambling Enthusiasts ❗❗ on: February 02, 2023, 06:46:45 PM
I voted for casino B foremost because the concept works so well on paper. Most of the games we have today are so boring and tedious I might as well watch paint dry and bet on whether a drop of it will land on my scuffed shoes or not. Then again, I have yet to see a casino actually executing a PVP gambling website. Mostly because it's expensive to make one and even more expensive to maintain it. So my disappointment is immeasurable. Hoping that one day a casino steps up and makes one though. Pretty sure it'll blow up.
1805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much time do you think you have spent gambling? on: February 02, 2023, 05:45:22 PM
Over my entire gambling journey? I can safely assume I may have spent more than a week's worth of time playing. I don't play religilously and only when I really feel like it. But whenevee I play I find myself pulling all nighters sometimes especially for games that require strategic thinking. I spend that extra time thinking of techniques and tactics that could best land me a win on the next run. As per capital, I think I just spent as much as you guys have over a peeiod of let's say, 3 or 4 years? I haven't really looked too much into it because I'd be giving myself unnecessary guilt if ever lmao.
1806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your take on this crypto gambling use case idea? on: February 01, 2023, 08:00:45 PM
They'd have to invest a lot of money for that to happen, and it's a huge risk because most gamblers aren't the type to learn a new game only to lose to it over and over. I see the point of only having to use a single token for every form of transaction within that casino but on the other hand, people may think you are a scam site for not allowing established coins on your site, cause if that would be the case funding and deposit will go towards the liquidity of the token and you may easily rug it if you know what I mean. Although again, I can see the concept working on a more secure infrastructure.
1807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Being Lonely drives you towards Gambling....! on: February 01, 2023, 06:56:25 PM
It sucks to be alone and lonely. I've been in that position for a while too, and trust me when I say it's not the best circumstance to be in as a human being. That being said, if you think the melancholy of solitude drives you to gamble, I think it's time to rethink your choices and maybe get some professional help. If that is not available, or affordable, I suggest you go meet other people, reconnect with old friends, chat some relatives or your parents, anything that will clear your mind off of the struggle that solitude brings you.

You'll get better eventually bro. It's great that you're realizing there's something wrong. Now take the next step.
1808  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: January 30, 2023, 08:49:22 PM
Renting has its ups and downs, but honestly I'd rather choose to buy my own house than to get stuck living in someone else's for the rest of my life. Renting is outrightly affordable compared to owning a house that's for sure, but it becomes a liability over time while a house flips you profits through appreciation. Although you are given the liberty of leaving and relocating should things not turn up well in your current residence when you rent, you can pretty much do the same thing as well with buying real estate you would live in, just with some extra steps.
1809  Economy / Economics / Re: Billionaires keep losing billions of dollars why poverty rate is increasing on: January 30, 2023, 07:29:07 PM
It's just like what Dickiy and the other ones have said. Their assets dipped in value. But in no way whatsoever does it mean that they lost anything. For instance, the biggest contributor to Elon Musk's fall from the top spot is Tesla's deprrciation in the stock market. Because a couple of people saw how poorly he carries himself on the internet. It made the people think less of Tesla and had therefore withdrew some of their holdings. But this in no way means that Tesla is no more, or that Elon doesn't have any hold snymore over Tesla.
1810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My step to promote bitcoin on: January 30, 2023, 07:06:53 PM
I think in the Philippines that will work best. A lot of their public vehicles can be commissioned to place stickers or banner ads in exchange for cash, and about 10-20 bucks usually do the trick. Aside from that you can also increase people's interest in bitcoin through word of mouth. I've heard there's a lot of tattle-tales in that country so we may as well use them to  increase bitcoin's reach to the masses by informing them foremost of success stories that came about from investing and working on bitcoin. All in all, no effort is small when it comes to letting people know that bitcoin is a thing.
1811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will BTC do in event of US default on its debt? on: January 30, 2023, 06:34:53 PM
It is independent indeed. But the needs of the people aren't. In the event that US defaults on its debt, a massive recession will probably occur. And as we all know, recessions force people to sell their stuff to survive. That includes bitcoins for instance. That is what causes crypto to sway along the path of the outside market, and for it to deviate from this pattern it must create its own self-sustaining economy with all its own amenities and services, which is not that farfetched but tell that to brand companies with billions of dollars in holdings.
1812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Get Bitcoin Holdings for your child from infant. on: January 29, 2023, 10:12:20 PM
Bitcoin's a good store of value, But I don't think relying on it for your child's future is a good thing, although it could be argued. Personally, I'd invest it into something else with passive guaranteed growth instead of bitcoin's which is cyclical in nature. Or perhaps make use of both bitcoin and a trust fund at the same time. That way I can gusrantee and maximize growth of my son's money through bitcoin's volatile upshoot in prices every now and then, and make sure the money stays valuable especially when I pass away.
1813  Economy / Economics / Re: Keeping money and keeping bitcoins? are they similar? on: January 29, 2023, 09:34:17 PM
Saving money on piggy banks is not the way if you are shooting for long-term investments, I'll just throw it out. Inflation fucks evrrything over and that includes the value of your money. Thus, when you keep your mkney in a piggy bank you are basically just collecting piles of money that would not mean squat in let's say, 10-20 years in the future (although for coin collectors this is perfect, but I digress). Anyways investing your money is pretty similar to buying bitcoins if you aim to increase wealth with such purchase. You buy an asset, hold it for a set amount of time, and if all goes well you profit. As with keeping money in let's say a trust fund or a bank, the same thing applies.
1814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hit And Run Gambling - Can The House Be Beaten This way? on: January 29, 2023, 08:09:07 PM
You beat the casino in spirits, because you came out of the casino with more money than you came with. However, this does not mean that the casino is at a loss. There are a lot of other gamblers who played in that particular casino in that particular day and time that weren't as lucky as you, the casino takes profits from them. Furthermore, the probability of such thing happening is minuscule you may as well just bet without thinking you'd beat the house if you leave and never return. The saying still holds true, the house always wins. Maybe not from you but they will never go under just because one gambler went home with more money than he came in.
1815  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: January 29, 2023, 07:26:06 PM
Honestly, I'd take either. I get the impression from my 2 years work experience that commission-based pay gives more cashflow than salary-based pay, but that doesn't mean it doesn't come without flaws. For one. The fact that it is based on sales, not on your employment makes it so that if you don't put in enough work, you'll starve regardless if you're on a high-tier role like a manager. In salary-based jobs, you don't get paid for your work, you get paid for how hard it is to replace you. In that regard, you can expect that when you land on a high tier role, the pay is good too. On salary-based jobs, you get paid on a schedule, commission-based jobs do not have this kind of leisure so dry spells are often which is not good especially for first-time employees just learning the ropes. That's why I always suggest to go for slaary-based jobs first when you work as a first-time employee.
1816  Economy / Economics / Re: When your passive income equals or slightly above your salary, what would you do on: January 29, 2023, 06:35:08 PM
OP', if you think you can retain the same qualify of living and purchasing power when you leave the job you hate so much and focus on your passive income avenues, I think you should go for it. But if the economy wouldn't let you pay for stuff that you currently own or it will debilitate your ability to buy stuff and services, I would highly suggest you keep working in that. 9-5 of yours until such a time arrives. I've been in the same position as you back then and I made the rookie mistake of resigning in my 9-5, which completely turned my life for the worst because right after I was let go from the company clients stopped coming in and the bear market of crypto started, leaving me penniless for months on end, which you should also be mindful of by the way. Passive income avenues like those of crypto or stock are very seasonal, so it's not always going to be green unless ylu daytrade.
1817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Power Slap League on: January 27, 2023, 10:41:15 PM
Who didn’t hear or watch at least one video about Dana white’s latest show which called The Power Slap League that started this new year of 2023, the rules of this sport are easy and simple where both competitors taking turns trying to knock each other out in order to win
There is a lot of talking about it lately about the low payout of Ufc boss to the participants of this tournament which goes to only 3200£ a Fight while he might be generating millions of dollars of it, But my topic here i want it to be about betting on this new sport and tournament which i still didn’t see any bookmaker announcing anything about this matter, And in my opinion it’s a lot of fan and as any fighting sport there is always bookmakers that will eventually include Power Slap League and allow people to bet on their favorite fighters.

Dumbest sport ever, honestly.  Talk about cte and brain issues.  Just constantly taking professional hits with no chance to defend yourself.  No real tactic either.  Just slap the shit out of someone until someone gets knocked out lol.  I mean people will definitely bet on it though because that's what we do 😆
It's dumb coz it's funny. But the damages they incur, as well as the strategy and thought put into each game is comparable to the contact sports like boxing. I could argue that this sport is even more extreme than boxing, coz at least with boxing when you get smacked in the face it's with a little bit of cushion. With slapping tourneys you literally get Buddha-palmed in your cheeks. I don't think it's dumb really, especially if training is being performed by fighters before their events. Following that logic games with similar concepts like boxing would be regarded as dumb too.
1818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Medical student wins lottery 5 times after embezzling graduation funds on: January 27, 2023, 09:46:17 PM
A case of gambling addiction. She probably could've gotten away with just stealing the money but she has ulterior motives, which had led her to stealing it in the first place. She had so many opportunities to stop, considering that even after gambling she won 5 times albeit with a profit loss, but at some point in that gambling spree she must've had a net profit, but no, she kept going. I am really hoping that apart from incarceration she should be getting, they also give her mental help and intervention because when all of this is said and done she may go back to her old ways.
1819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When was your last Royal Fush? on: January 27, 2023, 08:51:49 PM
I'm guessing with how rare that combination ever comes, no one in this forum or at least one or two at most have ever played that in all forms of Poker. And that is me already being generous. Personally, only ever played a straight flush once and not with that combo too. Although I'm guessing the odds that were mentioned in OP's post could be from a regular game of on-hand poker, I am not sure if variations could happen when Poker is played online but I'm guessing it could be possible considering that you can literally program the odds of it coming up in a game, regardless of whose hand it lands. With on-hand poker it's very hard to hedge the bets to your favor but online, it's a possibility.
1820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Power Slap League on: January 27, 2023, 07:39:01 PM
Pretty sure the concept runs back from early 2019. I watched vids of MoistCr1tikal where he streamed Russian Slap Tournaments and sometimes hedge friendly (no money involved) bets with his viewers. He sometimes even post snippet vids of his stream with the most awesome monotone commentary you will ever hear in this planet. Shit's good. Pretty sure a lot of people have heard since then of this sport and has made renditions of it. But they got nothing on the OG. So far however, this Slap League Dana White's holding up seems to be up to par with how professional the Russian ones go, complete with bodyguards and enclosed within the Octagon. I would observe this with great interest.
