1401  Economy / Gambling / Re: Help us to choose a bonus for a review campaign! on: May 24, 2023, 08:01:00 PM

HI ALL!

WE ARE THINKING TO START A REVIEW CAMPAIGN WITH JUICY REWARDS.
COMMENT ON THIS THREAD WITH A DESIRED BONUS YOU WOULD LIKE TO GET FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION.
WE WILL NEED 15 PARTICIPANTS. SPORTS AND CASINO BONUSES APPLY.
BE THE ONE WHO DETERMINE THE REWARD!

Bitcoin seems to be the best answer we could give you right now. There are a lot of campaigns out here paying people with bitcoins, and everyone's pretty happy that way. And since you guys are only going to accept at least 15 blokes for this task I don't think forking up an extra couple hundred dollars to finance a campaign manager is going to be necessary, as said by previous members of this thread. What you would need however, and I say this with anticipation, is an unbiased review. I've seen review campaigns be so biased to the organizers that it almost felt like there shouldn't even be a review campaign made in the first place if all the participant's gonna do is just throw admiration and praise to the project without looking at it objectively and filtering everything that a regular user may find annoying and unhelpful.

So hope things go well for you guys.
1402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Nigerian Father Rejects Son's Gambling Win on: May 23, 2023, 07:44:08 PM
A boy won #38,000,000 ($82340.19) with just #400 ($0.87) and when the boy brought home his win, the biological father of the boy rejected the money because it was gotten from gambling. So that makes me to think how people look or see or think of gambling. Is gambling a bad thing to do? As for me gambling is not a bad something but the individual can be bad and also the way you present yourself in the society can also tell people about your personality.

How do you see the father? Was he right by rejecting the son gambling win?

Gambling isn't inherently a bad thing, but the connotation it brings is definitely tainted over the years of exploit and suffering that most gambling addicts have gone through in the past. They serve as a cautionary tale per se. But I think that's not the main reason why the Dad's not so stoked about the son's winnings.

I think it's all about the effort it took the son to amass that much money. For most people that's going to take a hell of a lot of time and blood sweat and tears, which the father is kind of hoping the son would experience (which is stupid lmao I'd disown my father if he's like that). Which then lead to the father rejecting the son's winnings. Basically all the father's aiming for is to have the son see the value in effort and taking the time to gather that much money, instead of taking the easy way out and gambling it. I don't really stand behind the father's  logic considering how hard things are right now, and it's not like the son's going to forget them or is going to ditch his past life over a life of luxury or anything.
1403  Economy / Gambling / Re: BCGame Affiliate Program Issues on: May 23, 2023, 05:23:55 PM
Contact OP here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5088875.0
That is the official thread they have in bitcointalk but in that thread, you can find their channels where you might wanna try as well to connect with them. Here is the telegram https://t.me/joinchat/L5YyYla7--Arsls3DgAgdw

If it doesn't work still. You may have to tell your referrals about that 10% already and then move on to another casino affiliate. You've made thousands though, seem worth the time you did. Let me ask, is you giving 10% legal according to their policy?
Agreed. While losing a significant portion of your earnings is definitely a pesky loss, especially in today's day and age, I think this kind of discussion is best made with an official from BCgame themselves. Ranting and facilitating an echo chamber is just fine but it's not gonna get you anywhere OP. So, use bittraffic's link here and perhaps talk about this in private. It's that simple.

I think the cut down to 10% @bittraffic, this is something that is always done by a lot of casinos, it's a normal thing and is probably included in the clauses of the contract OP signed when he got into this affiliate program. The problem is with the deliverance of this change. OP claims to not have seen nor heard any update that tells them there was a cut down, so he's left blindsided and all his downlines not aware of the drop. He's gonna have to break this news to them in the worst way possible if ever, but I doubt it. OP claimed to have earned 40-ish grand from this venture, that's a good enough indicator that these people were probably paid well too.

1404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: increased Youtube Gambling ads? on: May 23, 2023, 04:33:41 PM
The increase in the Ads sponsored by gambling sites is a result of a surge in the cryptocurrency gambling industry and this could be seen in the way the new casinos are being launched and introduced into the market, casino business has witnessed a wide range increase in adoption since the covid luck down, and a lot of them are spending good money in advertisements.

So, youtube is one of the popular social media where casinos promote their companies in the form of Ads which interrupt streamers' videos just to promote their own business.
You could argue that. I've seen a lot of industries shift to virtual anyway, so you could say that these gambling sites/casinos are banking on what they got in order to profit. OR...

OP is seeing a lot of gambling ads because of targeted advertisements. Google has this thing wherein it learns from what you search on google, or other google apps like YouTube in this case. They then derive information from this data, and from there provide the user with adverts that fall in that category. Let's take OP's case for example. He, (evidently) is a gambler, and he might've made a couple of google searches in the past few days/weeks that is related to gambling, maybe even watched a couple streamers on YouTube on the side. This is fetched by Google, and from there, had given him advertisements that are in line with what he's been looking for these past few days. If he tries to change his preferences by searching for other things tomorrow or the next day, he'd find ads and recommended videos for him change as well. That's how the algorithm works.
1405  Economy / Gambling / Re: Researching for Upcoming Game on: May 23, 2023, 03:24:11 PM
Hi there,

I'm part of a team developing a crypto/blockchain game that has big $$ prize potential. I'm doing some research and hoping this community can help. If you guys have any insight/thoughts on the following questions please share them. We are really trying to build something that is enjoyable for the crypto gaming/gambling community.

- What are some current pain points in the crypto gaming/gambling space for players?
- What would you like to see?
- What makes one game fun to play -- more so than other competitors that have similar games (ex: why you enjoy playing crypto poker on X site rather than site A)?
- Who are some absolute Degens in the space?
- Aside from BitcoinTalk (this forum) where else do you get your news that you trust (which newsletters, sites, which Youtubers, any twitter accounts)?

We just want to build this game the right way that players actually enjoy playing in addition to potential of winning big....  Grin

Thanks all.
Don't mind if I do! I'd love to share a few pointers.

  • Clunky UI, takes too long to process transactions and sometimes even cancels them, KYC not streamlined as well leading to a certain distrust and dissatisfaction over some casinos.
  • Better system, games, KYC verification process that doesn't make it very hard for the user, and well, let's throw in better and more enticing prizes.
  • Just the general feel, if you feel like the game is well made and is not bugging one bit, that's enough for someone like me to stick or favor it over games of the similar type from other casinos.
  • No idea, I don't follow personalities nor subscribe to anyone.
  • No idea either.

These are my personal issues with the current gambling industry. I felt like some of them have gone a little too stale, or a little too complacent in making good games for their people. Literally the same iteration of a game all with a different reskin, and the same specifications/mechanics. I hope this changes but I'm sure it's not going to be that sudden.

I'm looking forward to seeing updates about this game you're talking about. I'm gonna watch its development with great interest.
1406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers understood the game on: May 22, 2023, 08:01:10 PM
I never brought someone into gambling.

It's bad, why need to invite people in the bad habits. From my perspective, I only share about gambling content and any information about gambling to someone who already gambling.

I don't want other people who are don't know gambling, ruining their life.
To OP's defense, these friends he's talking about are already full-fledged gamblers before the recommendation, he only recommended cryptogambling and didn't necessarily encourage them to. I myself think they already had this in mind and just needed that extra push to make their minds up and make the decision, which means had they not recommended cryptogambling to these people or not, they are going figure out the ropes and will eventually find themselves playing with it anyway. Plus, from the looks of it these people aren't chronic gamblers, considering how each losses they incur don't necessarily get to them, they even downplay the losses to OP's defense which I myself think is weird and a little over the edge of bad but whatever, as long as the losses don't get to them.

So all in all, I think OP's in the clear here, and he's not necessarily pushing these people to waste their lives away.
1407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers understood the game on: May 22, 2023, 07:20:25 PM
How many times have you successfully invited some gamblers to online casino? What is your experience doing so? I know many will find this hard to believe but I kinda prefer bringing in gamblers than investors into crypto, why? They understood the risk already, there is no talk and talk over again, there is no dealing with someone fear and confidence..

I have successfully brought in four people into crypto gambling, and it was the easiest thing ever, they came asking if it's possible to use crypto for gambling and I said yes, but I told them that I am not ready to introduce any platform for anyone, but these guys then showed me there past gambles on a local website that only accept Fiat, that's when I got soft with them and I showed them the websites I use for gambling.

The thing is, they are small time winners and big time losers, I mean they lose more than winning, it's been two weeks and two of them tell me about their loss and gains, but they make it feel normal, to them it really is, not like the crypto investors today, always in hurry to double their money, some are even scared of investing in Bitcoin, which is the safest of them all.
Well, certainly these people have done their assignment and had looked into the crypto gambling world before dipping their toes in. Otherwise they wouldn't have gone to you to ask for assistance. In any case, losers or winners I think as long as these people are having fun, which they do considering how they downplay their losses, it's still a win. When you're gambling you don't have to prioritize winning and raking in profits anyway, at least for me, cause stressing over taking back losses is just gonna lead you to getting addicted to gambling in order to chase that win you can never attain again. So kudos to these people for not only (presumably) checking the whole industry out before jumping in, and they even asked for your help to boot, but for also cracking the code in staying sane even after tremendous losses.
1408  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a web3 casino for you? on: May 21, 2023, 09:07:57 PM
No such thing as of now, every casino that advertises themselves as "web3" is just a sham way to scam people, especially those who are into the idea of Web3. With that being said it's a possibility in the future, but with the way things are going now you'd have better odds seeing the metaverse take foot and run amidst all odds than seeing the entirety of the internet be decentralized in one go, no such technology to support, no real life use-case so there's no interest in creating it, and the concept is a little novel, so it's still trying to take shape. I felt like I went off a tangent here but the basic concept of a web3 casino is a casino that is operating on web3, which mainly means that it's decentralized, or at least partly.
1409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there play and pay later casinos? on: May 21, 2023, 08:27:12 PM
Technically, all casinos basically work like this. Since no online casino pays out immediately when requesting a withdrawal. They all do everything to delay the payout as long as possible. But pay and play casinos have a good concept, only online I would not dare to do this. Then you would better try your chances in a physical casino, I think you have more chance there and you will at least be paid fairly and neatly that way. But online gambling is of course accessible.
You took it wrongly. He meant as in he'd be allowed to play first before paying for the tokens/currencies he'll use in order to gamble, which is just non-existent in this industry because it's bad for business. As I said in a previous comment, the closest OP could get to a play-and-pay later casino is if the casino he's looking to play in allows the use of credit cards, which is aplenty in this industry, but the responsibility of charging you the payment now lies in the bank and not the site. And of course it harbors the risk of inducing gambling addiction since now you're feeling like you can gamble all you want, since you can "pay off the credit anyway later" but you'd never realize how massively it compounds in the process.
1410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker coming to stake.com in the near future ! on: May 21, 2023, 06:40:47 PM
Welp. Massive news as there's so many stake.com users out there that are fond of Poker as a sport. Might even see this as a gateway to get into the big leagues considering how massive the influence of Stake is in the sports industry from the outside, evident from their numerous partnerships and how they don't spare costs in making sure that their customers are receiving the best of service in this industry. With more and more sites closing out on Poker and the game being a little hard to find and play with nowadays, this will really push users into switching to Stake, real smart move if i do say so myself. Hopefully they put their own twist to this game and offer users a genuine and unique stake.com experience.
1411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Casinos Should Do Survey From Time To Time To Assess You. on: May 21, 2023, 04:14:48 PM
I think customer transparency should be a thing that these casinos are to implement. Nowadays it's more evident that the power is not in the enterprise itself, but in the customers and the supporters that support them. Customer surveys are a great way to start this, as you're getting all the info straight from the source. It takes two to tango however, so each customer that are given the chance to take the survey must also diligently answer it cause this will embody the collective opinion of the people to the casino that held the survey. If everyone's gonna go bonkers with it and joke around, no useful data will be gathered, and much needed changes will not be implemented. There's this trifecta basically. The customer cooperating, the casino implementing the changes, and the casino, once again, consistently holding up surveys.
1412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Gambling Operator Court Case on: May 20, 2023, 10:08:24 PM

Why didn't he stop himself?

If he wins the legal case, there really is a need for casinos to check the backgrounds of their users before they reach this point. Any user could just purposely hit their maximum and take legal action to make money in court and not in the casino. That's the way to make money not win on a poker table.
Agreed. Not victim blaming here but for me, the sole responsibility of ensuring that you're not addicted to anything, gambling especially, is that you know how to assume control of your urges and yourself. If you can't control your gambling habits no matter how much block or limit casinos impose upon you when you reach a certain threshold, you'll find other ways to gamble just to get that fix. You're not gonna stop until your whole bankroll's swiped. That's why I advocate for control, and ensuring that you don't fall off the deep end when you gamble. It's a pretty simple concept.

Besides the background checking of users, I think (and this is for this particular gambler only) there needs to be intervention in the form of a therapy or something to stop and whet off any addiction that this guy has, he's gonna ruin families and his life, I swear.
1413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some Oldest Casinos in the World on: May 20, 2023, 09:06:45 PM
This proves that gambling has existed for a long time and has become a part of human life. Perhaps, there are other lists of casinos besides that list, and we don't know because gambling has existed since immemorial. Perhaps, gambling is as old as human civilization.

And now, gambling has progressed so much that what was once a traditional casino has become a modern form where we can play gambling through online casinos. This is thanks to technological developments where we don't need to come to a physical casino but just play gambling from home.
There had been historical accounts of people from the early parts of our civilization gambling, or at least playing forms of games that would've become staple casino games in today's age. Baccarat for example has been in the historical texts as early as 1400s, with possibilities of it existing before strong due to the text's well-structured explanation of the game's mechanics and rules. So yeah, you can say that as soon as we started learning how to count, we also learned how to gamble in a much more structured way.
Wow, that is a nice list, and I didn't know that there are still some land-based casinos out there that have been operational for about 400 years or so and are still running. I'm sure those old-fashioned rich people still go to these casinos and gamble with a cigar in their hand having a good time since the younger generations don't prefer land-based casinos these days.

Cryptocurrency and online gambling have become the favorite ways of gambling for most people of this generation since it provides a lot of conveniences like being able to gamble anytime, anywhere, and quick deposit and withdrawal times, etc.
Pretty vivid picture you painted there my guy, really had me thinking of an Al Capone-looking old man toting a fat cigar on one hand with a set of cards in the other lmao. As for the lack of public traction nowadays, it's kind of their fault really. These boomers messed with the economy so bad most of us millenials-Gen Zs are left with Vietnam war flashbacks and so we learned how to thrift and be frugal, and to ultimately choose quality and convenience over luxury.
1414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Gambling Operator Court Case on: May 20, 2023, 04:40:38 PM
What is the maximum number of bets that one can place per day, and do casinos have a system in place to identify any unusual spikes in a user's daily betting activity? Would it be regarded as a component of the casino's responsible gambling policy or as interfering in someone else's affairs it they lock the  gambler's account?
Maybe there are rules set now, but I remember when I was still gambling, that I was gambling like 14 hours out of 24 hours daily, and both weekdays and weekends, I have not seen any gambling site that stopped me from continuing gambling even if I continue to lose that day. But on some gambling sites, you can check some helpful articles for addicts and anyone that gambling is becoming a problem to.

No gambling site or operator can make this kind of law because the more punters lose the more their gain. Only the government can make it in a way it can be effective. But what most government in most countries are looking for in gambling is how to effectively tax punters. I do not know of other countries, but in my country, you can gamble as many and as long as you can. Some countries may have gambling laws that limit punters but I have not seen such before, and what punters in such country would say is that they do not have freedom over their own money.
It's because there are still no concrete parameters and settings that are in place in most casinos that discourages chronic gamblers from playing. Casinos are still looking to profit from these people, so they won't impose such rules, some may even throw out that "gambling addiction awareness articles and campaigns" to absolve themselves of the guilt, or the crime thereof if they base in places where gambling over a certain threshold requires the casino to stop or intervene the gambler.

I don't see this ever changing, cause there's no profit to be made in this act of kindness. So with every gambler here, the only way you can surely save yourself from gambling addiction is to actually impose and practice self-control. Can't expect other people to do it for you.
1415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: May 19, 2023, 09:38:33 PM
In my opinion, I think referral bonuses are typically waste of one's time because of its processes that seems so impossible to claim and recently I came across a thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5437603.0 seeking for Casinos with paid referral bonuses and I tool out time to read most of the responses there and they all seem impossible to claim referral bonuses.
I wish to know if anyone has successfully claimed referral bonuses and how easy was the process and what Casino did you claim those bonuses
First thing's first, in order for you to be able to claim referrals or even refer people, you must have friends irl or over the internet, we got that already? good.

Most of these referral bonuses are nothing but a gimmick, and they are intentionally made to be hard to make sure that no one's building some sort of pyramid scheme in their casino you know. It's not a waste of time if you're looking to earn an extra few 10-100 bucks, but if you're looking to build an empire or a pyramid (lmao) judging by the fact that you're pretty much also looking for ways to deal with your downlines, then yeah it will be a massive time-waster for you, and I suggest you look elsewhere for profit.
1416  Economy / Gambling / Re: How does AI gambling sound? on: May 19, 2023, 09:03:51 PM
AI horses, you mean this?

Kiddings aside, I feel like if you're going to bet on AI horses instead of real ones, might as well not wait and waste your time and just bet/play RNG race games like the one I posted above. It's way easier that way and you won't have to worry bout the ethics and all that, cause apparently it still a pretty sensitive topic as of the moment. Plus if it's AI, there's probably ways to hack and make it so that a certain player gains an unfair advantage over you or others, which is not a good thing genrally. So yeah, save yourself the trouble and either bet on real horses or just stick with RNG-type ones.
1417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Aviator crash games - did anyone hear about it? on: May 19, 2023, 08:10:14 PM
Since last couple of days, my Facebook feed is literally flooded with advertisements from Aviator Crash game. I had installed the app but didn't deposit anything yet.

It seems they accept both fiat and cryptocurrency. Did anyone hear about this? Has anyone deposited money and experienced it?

I want to know your honest experience. Is it safe?
Haven't personally played it, but from the looks of it the game basically revolves around luck and timing your sell right in order to profit. Much like trading if you'll ask me. It's also designed to be very addicting, so it wouldn't surprise me if this suddenly becomes a global trend or phenomena and the makers of this game cash out on its success but in any case, I think it's a good game, can't trust it enough to actually play it but if you're into that kind of risk and you wanna try out trading without actually trading money/wanted to see how it's done at least in a game-form of perspective, otherwise just trade assets/cryptocurrency/whatever, it's pretty much the same thing with the timing and all that plus, it's way more workable considering there's profit to be made in the trading industry than with the gambling world.
1418  Economy / Gambling / Re: What all are your considerations before picking your go to sportsbook? on: May 19, 2023, 07:34:41 PM
All I am really looking for when choosing a place to place a wager is if they accept my country, KYC, have the markets I wish to bet on, have some sort of decent reputation, and if they have decent odds.

If any 1 of my needs are not there I will not bet on that sportsbook.
Same here. That's pretty much what you only have to look for when you're choosing a sportsbook, everything else is a bonus. Although you could throw "bonuses" and cashout limits there too if ever, coz some of these sportsbooks place such leeways and limitations on users to keep them on the site for longer.
I would choose to gamble on no KYC sportsbook, there was a good no KYC sportsbook e.g. Betja, but the site closed down without any notice and they just disappear without consider to refund other gamblers money who their money stuck in their site. But now I still not find a good no KYC sportsbook, maybe few months or a year later, we will see that.

Currently I only trust Duelbits as a KYC sportsbook.
So sorry to hear about that bro. I mean the very reason for you to trust a site (KYC) apparently didn't help with ensuring that they stay true to their word, but I still hope you consider KYC as something to look for in a bookie. In that regard, why not try out stake too? I think its KYC isn't that too hard for the regular person to complete, plus it pays to have a couple of bookies you trust and play with you know.
1419  Economy / Gambling / Re: Limited in every bookmaker on: May 18, 2023, 10:29:30 PM
Unfortunately, I dont have idea where to make a betting account,
I was limited at almost every crypto or online bookmaker.

If you have losing account on bk88, betnomi, roobet or even some normal online bookmaker, reply me here or in inbox.

I have an offer you can't refuse
Usually when people say they have an "offer that you can't refuse", it's a telltale sign that it's a scam, or something along those lines which you can very well refuse especially if you can smell it from a mile away. This one, is just that. It takes 2 brain cells to create a betting account, and if you don't want to KYC there are a couple of gambling sites and bookies out there that could cater to you, but keep in mind that you're risking your assets' security too, just throwing that.

With that being said, there's no excuse for you to not know or have a singular idea how to make a betting account. You want to be connected to someone who can make bets for you? You're not gonna fool people here. Especially the ones who have been in the same scammy situation in the past (like me). Get on and find someone else to fool.
1420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best and worse slots on: May 18, 2023, 09:22:02 PM
I think it's a matter of the user and not necessarily the game itself. I've tried both and have won considerably and lost as much as I think a regular gambler would lose on such games. Perhaps you're just attributing causality on things that aren't even connected in the first place. In any case however, some game companies increase the RTP for their newer games in order to entice customers, but it will still boil down to whether you are lucky, nothing else.
I have been playing a few slots lately and have had some good winnings but nothing huge yet. Most of the YouTube gamblers I watch have been playing Sweet Bonanza, so I tried it first with a minimum bonus buy of $20 and sometimesi got into the bonus after few normal spins. The maximum win I had was x7 which is x700 on the game.
I also tried Gates of Olympus, Sugar Rush, and Sweet Bonanza Xmas, but I didn't like any of them. I don't know if I just got used to Sweet Bonanza or if there are other better slots out there. Could you please recommend a good slot with bonus buys and low cost, if possible?

Personally for now I would put Sweet Bonanza as the best slot and Gates of Olympus as the worst one as i never had any winning session with more than 10 bonus buys.

I don't think that there are best or worst slots, still boils down to RTP and the user experience. That's why this developers is offering us "x" theme slots because it's up to our preferences.

As for those Youtube gamblers that are winning bid, it's hard to replicate those because in the first place they have a big bankroll and they will just opt to take advantage of the buy bonus. But still though, not recipe for a good win, most of the time, either huge win or buy bonus strategy sucks as you can recoup what you have paid as the games won't give you what you expected.
Exactly, and I wouldn't really trust YouTubers and streamers when they are advertising gambling sites or games, or even just outright playing with these games, most of them are sponsored in secret by the gambling site itself, and if they weren't, they're playing on a big bankroll as you have stated, so they don't really speak for nor represent the average gambler, experience and opinion-wise.
