1101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be play with care on: July 27, 2023, 09:17:19 PM
People don't have statistics to play gamble and that is why some of the gambling enthusiasm do experience (shege in gambling... meaning much loses in a gambling) so it's good for gamblers to know a specific amount that should go out in their wallet weekly or monthly.

When you check the statistics of who is on constant gambling of different kind of gambling either casino, poker game and other gambling games, should check the funds that goes out of them monthly because of gambling and they funds they received in a month and annually in gambling if they are of the same amount.

If we planned our gambling bet we should not be going crazy after when we have not meet up our target in gambling, what i expected every gambler is to make table of how much should be spend in gambling and how much should go investment, because money we loses in gambling continuously if we gather it together it will sum up to start a little business. I'm say play gamble with experience, don't use all you have for casino gambling
Honestly, stats are just nifty know-whats in the grand scheme of things, it shouldn't be a baseline of how you play if ever you figure out a way to find out what your stats is, cause sometimes it may even urge you to play more which could cause you to subject yourself into gambling addiction just so you can neutralize your stats or increase them to make it look as if you're a great player. To me, what matters most is well, the bankroll that they are working with, and what plans/costing strategy they would use to make the whole stuff last without them depositing more money in the process. That's called discipline right there, and that is one of the most important things you should know as a gambler.
1102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Casinos Go Bankrupt Because of Player Wins? on: July 26, 2023, 11:40:54 PM
According to me, if a casino is hosting games or lotteries or anything and are keeping a reward which is near to or higher than their bankroll then it's their foolishness.
In that case, they would obviously go bankrupt. But most casinos don't do this because they keep it in mind that the rewards should always be lower than bankroll.
I think they might also have algorithms where they might be tracking total user winnings and comparing it with bankroll and suspending operations if both are at par.
Exactly. No casino in their right minds would do this cause it doesn't even guarantee user benefits anyway. For the most part most casinos go few degrees higher in their bankroll so that rewards can be provided regardless of how big they are, and with the deposits in mind they also take that into account along with the losses that each players incur.

The only realistic reason a casino could go bankrupt is if every player in their site suddenly bagged multiple wins in a row. This means that they would have to pay every single player and with most reputable casinos with millions of players everywhere this is a surefire way for them to go bankrupt, although of course due to probability and house edge we know this is not going to happen within our lifetimes lol.
1103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Signs that indicate you are not addicted to gambling on: July 26, 2023, 11:13:07 PM
Why to complicated? too long for the list.

One prove-point you're not addicted are: You're not deposit again, again and again until your money is empty (worst-case selling all of your stuff and going to debt) and don't have money for gambling again.

That's one points (really proven) you're not addicted to gamblin.
Pretty simplistic and it basically sums it all up lol. Smart guy. And while I would agree with you there's some signs that are bordering over "is it still considered grounds for gambling addiction" and all that which people would be more than eager to be clarified about, so a little clarification like this and expounding upon the idea of gambling addiction is necessary even though at the end of the day, it all boils down to proper management of losses and funds.

So while you are right, these people who's discussing about it aren't specifically wrong either just because they are expounding upon ideas about gambling addiction. Although in my opinion the post's a little longer than what I had expected when most points can easily just be merged into a single symptom or sign.
1104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: July 26, 2023, 10:33:20 PM
One of them is gonna chicken out?
This fight is a done deal. Each of them is going to get a ton of cash no one is going to turn down the money that the Arabs are setting up for them. Only a handful of people expect Ngannou will win and I think he may not really win the fight but Ngannou wins against Dana. This was his real fight in the first place where he was belittled so he took a gamble on his career to which Francis got off UFC contract and got a better contract with PFL.

The main motive for this fight is money. And I think that none of these fighters are afraid of money, so the fight will take place  Grin
As for Ngannou's chances, it's probably a lucky punch in the first or second round - he has no chance to outbox Fury + in each next round he will lose strength faster than Fury. So if he wants to at least try to win, he should immediately go into close range and trade blows (sounds funny for heavyweights hehe). Fury, on the contrary, must hold back the starting onslaught of Ngannou (and preferably without knocking him out so that the sheiks are satisfied with the long fight) and then simply realize his advantage.
Some bad blood's about to be brewed though I think. Fury's starting to talk smack about Francis Ngannou and he made a response about it saying "he's underestimating my boxing skills" or something along those lines, so this may become more personal than we may think. In any case I just hope they give us an entertaining fight that we'd be able to talk about for a while and not a sleeper few rounds knockout fiasco where the win is apparent right from the get-go. More people are choosing Francis right now which surprises me cause back in the first few days of this thread it's mostly Tyson believers, I wouldn't blame them though cause Francis is a really capable fighter, winning against Fury though is another question.
1105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Other Things You Can Bet on Aside Sports and Casino Games on: July 26, 2023, 10:05:47 PM

not totally sports but they are listed in the events of bookmakers. every year i think there are threads that will be created for the Oscars awards just like Presidential Elections which every 4 years another will come up.

the most famous in my country is cockfighting, the government somehow makes it illegal but we're still betting it live on the arena and even online.
Same here! Cockfighting is a pretty well-known sport within Southeast Asia if I'm not mistaken, so I didn't really go so far as to include it in my previous posts of ridiculous gambling and sports that I have made bets on. Unofficial backyard bets on chess games and local basketball games are also a commonplace in the Philippines, so I think that warrants a spot here too. But cockfighting takes the cake in popularity. During 2020 at the height of the pandemic when the rich had nothing to do with their money and the poor had no money to work with, opportunists took the chance to open sites that live stream cockfights with bet placement options available straight from there, that's where I lost some of my money lols cause I was none the wiser back then on how the cockfighting works.
1106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between futures trading and gambling on: July 26, 2023, 09:43:58 PM
You may prefer the ticket to lose instead of accepting the amount given to you as cash out.
Not everyone Will prefer their ticket to lose instead of cashing our, you should just speak for yourself. If am gambling and am given the opportunity to cash out, if am not confident about the remaining matches left, then I will just cash out and go away with my win, some times when gambling we shouldn’t be greedy, it’s better you cash out the little amount than you losing everything.

If people like you end up going into future trading, you might end up just losing your money always, because future trading is not for the greedy once. If you are greedy, you might always end up using high leverage always just because you want much money, and some times when you are suppose to take profit, you won’t because you won’t be satisfied with the profit.

Which always been the case for those greedy traders and also with those greedy gamblers, with that same mindset of keep aiming for more and not being contented with what supposedly they already gained, losing is probably the outcome results, you always have that option to quit, either you win some or you already losing portions of your money, if by chance you have the option better not to be greedy and choose that wise decision either to lessen or to secure your chances.

You might have lesser earnings but secure or you may lose a portion of your money, but you can continue and re-try the chase.

Though, it's sure that we will hear different perceptions and opinions depending on the person who will define and justify his case.
It's all about the propensity of a gambler to take risks. Just cause they lost on a big bet doesn't mean they are stupid, especially if there's a pattern in their betting which leads them to make these ludicrous bets in the process. Same goes for those who relish in that hellhole called futures trading. Just cause they lost on a big trade and their asses got liquidated doesn't make them a failure of a person especially when they've studied the ins and outs of the craft.

If these gamblers went in raw without proper knowledge/background about gambling and then they lose their shit then sure, call them stupid and dumb, but everything comes with its own sets of risks, it's just that some of us here are accustomed to the same risk and have made contingencies to combat those, but that doesn't mean they'd always win.
1107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not a steady income haven on: July 26, 2023, 09:21:12 PM
`

Well, there are people who can take gambling as a way to earn an income, and wow, I know some friends who do, but why? Because they have the ability to have a lot of money, their parents are millionaires, they left them a tremendous inheritance, they have so much money that they don't know what to spend it on, so for that type of person, they can play ad nauseam because what they spend won't affect them, so these are things that at least I don't have I have money but very little for a casino, but why? because I have responsibilities with my family, and yes, I play in a casino because I like it, it's a way of having fun that I can do from home at any time.

The idea of all this is that people measure themselves according to their economic capacities, a person who does not have so much money cannot play at the level of a whale, because they know that they will lose everything and it will go badly for them, that is what I I call having a sense of responsibility.

It must be good to have a good way of responding to things, that is, if you spend a lot of money gambling and it doesn't affect your daily life, I think I would consider that a blessing, because in the casino the more money you have and apart from having capacity because more is spent.

Wealth, especially when misused, can cause cognitive conflict. Its like watching an affluent friend in a casino. It recalls a reckless moment when results didnt matter. I chuckle at their pranks yet realise how different they are.

You've managed this money and carelessness storm. Well done! Responsibility and judgement are as vital as money. Small fish can swim with whales if they're travelling the proper way.

Remember that we create our own pathways in this crazy game called life. Lets be creative, smart, and optimistic. We'll be proud of the trip, even if its not interesting.

I say something, at least when I play in a casino and I see that I am losing my money, there is an internal stop that does not let me continue playing, because I know that I will continue to lose, at least those things happened before, now I no longer feel that, because when I'm going to play I always leave a part of my balance to spend, if I lose it that's fine with me, I have no regrets, because it's what I'm willing to lose, so my way of controlling the plays could be said to be as if I would put a lock or something similar, and really if a person tends to have a good diction I would like them to copy my method.

Of course, as far as I'm concerned about this method , it's because I invented it, and although it looks very safe, and looks somewhat conserved and quite efficient, and in the end I think that's what really matters to me, because when seeing that there are so many addiction problems and other types of things always arise when generating more emcoins in the casinos, this including contests, bonuses, all this makes a player become more emcoined and want to play and play , without measuring any Type of money , he only cares about playing and in his mind there is only the word Winning , but we must be realistic , we must know that in a Casino the Safest thing is to lose than to win , if we as players have that clear there is no Problem.

When we take control of our money as an option , things can happen in a great way, because that way we get rid of having a very bad time , and that is the main advantage of my Method.

At the end of the day, it all boils down to whatever works for you. Just as there are different trading tactics that work for specific sets of traders, the same could be said for gambling as well. Glad that you found a technique that helps you stay focused and entertained when you're gambling without breaking the bank which is more than what we could say for some people out here who's flirting with financial loss everytime they gamble. Props to you for being aware of gambling addiction too and straying away from it actively. It's one thing to know what gambling addiction is, it's another to acknowledge how dangerous it is and actively partaking in discpline and methods to avoid it as much as possible.

I myself took it upon myself to adapt a method that I found here in the forum, you basically limit yourself to only three wins or three losses everytime you gamble. Soon as you reach 3 wins or 3 losses you could call it a day already to either stop you from bleeding any more money, or from spending all your wins away. I'm not saying you should try it, but it so far helped me stay in track when I'm gambling which is good.
1108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Deposit limits on: July 26, 2023, 09:01:33 PM
You know, what happens in some cases @Oshosondy, since there are a lot of casinos, and I also think that every country has a few local casinos too, and most of these casinos don't even support the limit stuff you are talking about. But what really happens in some cases is that, except for a newbie gambler, most old-time gamblers do have accounts with different casinos, and some gamblers too can have two different accounts in one casino, so the question is, for such gamblers, would the deposit limit even stop them from gambling daily if they wanted to? Nop! The reason is that with their other casino account, they can still place their bet and not be affected with the limit of deposit.
I'll do you one better. Since the deposits limits can be altered and changed depending on the user's preferences, what is the propensity that these people will follow through with what they imposed upon themselves in the first place? Isn't this deposit limit a little futile especially if gamblers end up changing/removing these limitations anyway so they can gamble more? Hypocritical even lol. Deposit or not it all boils down on the ability of the gambler to discipline himself and follow through with his regiments, because unless the casino is to strictly impose these limitations I don't see this helping anyone at all really, cause if I'm someone who's addicted to gambling already, what good would it do if I could just reset my deposit limits when I feel the need to?
1109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: July 26, 2023, 08:33:29 PM
One sad truth is that there are too many irresponsible gamblers that are coming to that moment of taking loans because they can't contain the excitement that they want to gamble. And, when they've lost a lot and there's no money anymore they're trying to chase losses through selling their properties and other assets.

It's an emotional battle that's hard to overcome when the affected person is no longer controllable. No one stops anyone from gambling but please don't be too much that you're harming yourself and also affecting others especially your immediate family.

There are no other people that's going to help you at first but them.
Undoubtedly, support and communication on these topics from loved ones is one of the best medicines. The other side is that in most cases gambling addicts do not tell anyone about it because they are ashamed.

Close relatives will find out only after the gambler loses a lot. And even after that, he can be silent. Even I, who am well acquainted with such problems, can not immediately see it in a person. What to say about those who do not even know about such problems, for example, parents who are already in old age. I want to urge everyone to be attentive to their friends and relatives, perhaps you will save them at the right time.
That's because addicted gamblers exhibit symptoms and patterns of behavior that is similar to someone who is suffering from Depression. The seclusion, the lack of motivation to do anything besides what they are most acquainted, which in this case is gambling. They feel ashamed of what they do which is also a definitive reason of why they keep to themselves as what you said. The thing is, and this is true for most of the cases where people who are addicted to gambling is involved, intervention is needed like 90% of the time. You can't just ask and addicted gambler if there's something wrong cause they'd lie about it, so actually taking the initiative and giving them the help they need even if they say "they didn't want it" is going to be helpful and pivotal to their recovery.
1110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Abuse ... on: July 26, 2023, 08:13:46 PM
What is Gambling Abuse?
Gambling abuse is simply defined as gambling with a motive that is different from the real purpose why gambling is in existence.
Let me also say my view on "Gambling Abuse". Gambling Abuse is the process of unfaithful to the casino which is also violating the terms and conditions of the casino. Therefore, many gamblers abuse their gamblings to play fast game.
Op drug abuse is different from gambling Abuse. Drug abuse is the over use of the drugs or use the drug with a doctor prescription. But in gambling Abuse you play a smart game to with the bet or slot.
What you're talking about is Casino Abuse. Gambling abuse is Gambling addiction really. Although I understand why it's a bit of a misnomer too which is why I don't really use it as much as Fiverstar does. In any case while you're right about one thing and I'm not gonna take that away from you, Casino abuse is a much better term for it since it's not the act thereof of gambling that you're abusing but the vulnerabilities that the casino overlooked that you're taking advantage of. Gambling Abuse still is a term suited for the act of abusing gambling for the highs and the dopamine hits as well as the prospect of earning money.

At the end of the day let's just all agree that everything of excess is bad and should not be condoned, same goes with gambling even if you're winning a fuck ton of money from it.
1111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: July 26, 2023, 07:45:30 PM
Tapales has got little to prove and a lot to gain. But that is provided that he could stand against Inoue in the first place. Inoue is still in his prime and there's no stopping this beast of a fighter in his quest to claim belts. While there's a probabilistic chance for Inoue to lose this fight and hand the belt to Tapales, I don't think the latter has what it takes to beat Inoue in a one-on-one knock-off. Tapales best not aim for heights that are still far from his reach else he risks a devastating loss that may upturn his career. Inoue remains undefeated and I don't think someone who's yet to prove himself in the ring and the boxing community's got the chance and the cajones to beat him willy-nillly. Until then we just had to stay hoping that this fight goes through cause even if Tapales doesn't have anything of substance to prove in his name, it's still going to be interesting to see how Inoue takes all his fight with known and obscure fighters.
1112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Other Things You Can Bet on Aside Sports and Casino Games on: July 25, 2023, 11:00:14 PM
Some of these are just waste of time IMO. I don't think people are really going out of their way to bet on these events in hopes of making money. Some people do, but only for the heck of it and not in the purpose of making money. I would rather bet it on something that has the possibility to make me money rather than bet on something because I'm curious and I just want to get involved in the fuzz that everyone is getting on about.
I get what you're trying to say and I would agree with it but at the same time I say not every gamble session you make should be "ohh because I want to make more money hurr durr" yeah? These things exist not only because people are stupid and would bet on anything for the hell of it, but also because it actually brings the entertainment side of gambling to the table which is often outshined by the profit part, being one of the biggest reasons why people see gambling as a money-making machine instead of a form of entertainment which in essence is that. So while I believe it's to each his own when it comes to gambling, I say these things are cool too cause there's people who bet on it for one, and they indirectly promote the entertainment side of gambling.
1113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Other Things You Can Bet on Aside Sports and Casino Games on: July 25, 2023, 10:14:06 PM
Huh, I'm rather curious about the end of the world bet one. Wonder if people actually bet on it and how legit is it lmao. And doesn't it make a guaranteed win for the house if the year passes without the world ending or something like that?

On another note, a lot of things can be bet really, OP's list is more of the ridiculous ones (not in a bad way, well maybe except celebrity deaths, now that's just fucked up). I mean, there's usually the presidential elections (or any type depending on your community), Ms Universe and any other types of contest-esque events, usually big scaled ones.
If I'm being honest that's way too dark and kind of fucked up too cause you're basically profiteering the end of everything. And how do you even go about taking your wins lol is it like situational where if things get messed up and we live in a post-apocalyptic world like Fallout you get bottlecaps instead of dollars or something? Lmao that is too intense and stupid too in my opinion. As for celebrity and personality deaths while I know it's fucked up is kind of rampant actually. We had people betting on what year Queen Elizabeth's going to die, in the Philippines they did the same with an old senator who did some deranged shit too like getting his own self ambushed just so the government can issue Martial Law, among others.
1114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: As a gambler do you have a potential winning amount limit? on: July 25, 2023, 09:50:36 PM
I have heard and read about people gambling because they had no source of income,  a job or they wanted to add gambling as part of their streams of income. Whatever your category the bottom line is that we all gamble to make money though some group claim it's mainly for fun. But who would want to be losing money all in the idea of catching fun!

There are gamblers that don't place their bet not until they have gotten a certain amount as their potential win. Some do this based on their financial challenge with the anticipation that just one win they may get on such amount is a life changer for them.

My main focus on this thread is in this question: as a gambler do you place your bet according to the weight of your financial need or you're always okay with whatever amount that comes out as potential win no matter how small amount?

First off, being financially challenged should've been a cue for people to not gamble anymore. The fact that they are risking losing more money than they can ever earn in exchange for a low prospect of winning more money to solve their problems may work sometimes, but mostly it just drives you to even more financial trouble. Gambling should be done with one thing only in mind which is for entertainment. The moment you start looking at gambling differently, problems will arise and you'd find that you'll lose more money than you can ever work with. I thought this threads for protecting your wins and funds but apparently people have other ideas in mind when you say potential winning amount limit.
1115  Economy / Gambling / Re: what are the best crypto casinos! on: July 25, 2023, 09:33:24 PM
Stake takes the top of the list once again just cause it's one of the best when it comes to providing games with their large roster of playable games and sports that you can bet on, plus the fact that among other casinos that I have played with, the withdrawal process in Stake is so streamlined and easy even with the KYC requirement which doesn't take too much of your time too. So the fact that stake's at the top, while I would agree with, is something that doesn't really surprise me anymore.

What's going on with Sportsbet though, why does it have such a low score on Trustpilot? I know they've experienced a couple of accusations in the past including that one guy who wouldn't relent about Sportsbet withholding his funds and closing his account, and while he's already dealt with, I think he left pretty bad reviews on them through multiple accounts or something (I don't really know how trustpilot works I'm just spitballing here) which may have caused the low trust rating.
1116  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which are best stake alternatives on: July 25, 2023, 08:56:52 PM
Up to you really. But if you wouldn't mind me asking what makes you want to switch casinos in the first place? In my knowledge Stake is one of if not the best casino and gambling platform out there. Plus they're worldwide so reach is not the problem right here. They don't slack off with the games and the customer service too as they provide one of the best roster of games out there for people to enjoy, and they have virtually 24/7 customer service.

If it's just a matter of preference you could find a couple of good casinos out here with active threads so you can jive with their gamblers and all that but I wouldn't really say they are alternatives cause every casino's got their own selling point, and Stake's just that unique.
1117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: July 25, 2023, 08:31:08 PM
There is still no progress on Ferrari side. They are still continuing to make the same simple mistakes. Maybe Hamilton wasted a big chance in Hungary but at least there is a good progress on Mercedes side. McLaren have also become very consistent and strong now of course. Ferrari just can't accept this situation and move on the same now.

Ferrari started to do this every season and it is making them even weaker. Now they are planning to start off with a clean slate when we finish this season. They want to develop their car from scratch I guess but they have started to say this quite often.

I don't trust Ferrari about this anymore until they start to change something for real.
Ferrari did a lot of rookie mistakes that is so unbecoming of them. They'd literally go so far as to start from square one instead of working on their strengths and weaknesses which unironically made them even weaker as you're trying to imply. I don't think they have a stand at getting any more significant wins moving forward if they continue with this trend while the rest of the industry create formulaic decisions that will enable them to bag more wins.

Perhaps a change of driver could make something happen? Cause it's not always just going to be Ferrari's fault in retrospect and perhaps human error plays a role in this one too.
1118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there an good site for Chinese? on: July 25, 2023, 08:11:59 PM
Isn't gambling made illegal in China? Let alone cryptocurrency? Are you sure you're gonna risk getting caught and facing sentence over few hours of excitement and burning money? You can't use VPNs either cause most casinos as said earlier by the people in here, asks for identification details, and when they find out you're not really living from where your IP address is at you'd for sure get banned. I think the best you can do is go in sanctioned and licensed casinos in your country or Hongkong instead of risking yourself for temporary entertainment.

Piece of advice only, don't take it negatively cause if anything we're just looking out here for you. There are much safer ways for you to go about your gambling aspirations that do not involve breaking the law.
1119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 5 Bitcoins to never gamble again. Will you take it? on: July 25, 2023, 07:47:12 PM
Depends on what you mean by "gambling" cause anything can be considered gambling. I've seen people consider trading as a form of gambling cause risks are involved and there's a tendency for you to lose your money in the process, if what you mean is I can't gamble as in play games that offer monetary benefits when I win, then for sure!. I don't see any reason why I should not stop with gambling especially if given that ludicrous of an amount in the first place, and with the only caveat being I can't gamble anymore too lol. I've seen people gamble their lives away for as little as 10 bucks, with this amount you're basically set for life in some countries if you were to liquidate it. If you wouldn't and decide to venture into other ways for you to create more money you could basically try real estate and increase your wealth in the process! The whole world's your oyster when you have enough money, so that in exchange for not being able to gamble? Lol that's an easy choice.
1120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Other Things You Can Bet on Aside Sports and Casino Games on: July 25, 2023, 07:19:48 PM
Ah yes, Gag betting. My favorite kind of gambling. Lol there's no end to what you can bet on if you put your mind on it. Anything with a probabilistic nature can easily pass off as something you can place a bet on. Saw someone place bets on who's going to be the next president, if this senator's going to be impeached, I even saw people betting on when people will die (although this is a bit morbid and is carefully reserved by some to people that are either too old already or just genuine asshats that deserve it). Used to make bets with friends where we would bet on who's going to win more in our gambling sessions which is actually one of the reasons why I got introduced into the gambling world in the first place.
