1441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: May 13, 2023, 10:31:27 PM

Yeah, there are lots of experimentations a trial and error to test if how good and accurate AI can be, though in gambling accuracy is something that we really can't measure, the influences of many factors can change the directions of the possible outcome, AI may recommend something according to how he assess the players or the teams but there are instances like injuries and inside game rules
that might be broken.

So the outcome may not be the expected since AI provides data according to how he assesses the game before it started.

If we’re talking about predictions, well we can’t really count on AI for something right now. The sole fact that even ChatGPT runs on a version of the internet from 2 years ago with all its pretty outdated. This renders all forms of prediction that involves AI moot, and nothing but a novelty to showcase that “AI is here”. If you’ll read OP’s post by the way it literally talks about him asking AI for bet predictions on a football game. Which have been made by someone and then proceeded but what I could only assume, is an unholy helping of sensationalized media. Anywho, as scary as Skynet, it’s nothing to be wary of as of the moment. No one’s getting replaced hy AIA or whatever.
1442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another betting fraud in Brazil - part 2 on: May 13, 2023, 05:19:55 PM
These are the kinds of problems that the government must deal with. This is outside the scope of any normal person to overcome as these cartels are definitely powerful and dangerous. Since they control majority of these platforms, they can manipulate the outcome to their liking, thereby making gambling a business venture on their end.

Unfortunately for us normal individuals, we really cannot do anything about it but to avoid engaging into their controlled casino. The more a person fights or attempts to show restraint, the more risk you put on your own life with it.
I don't think that even the authorities have much of an option to find a suspect, except they can keep an eye on every single betting platform and sportsbook operating within the country and look for any usual activity and then track them down with the help of the platforms they are using for all these activities and that might lead them to something.

But if the platforms are themselves involved and participating in all this, they will need to close them down as well and if they can't control this or find the suspects, they should probably ban all the betting platforms since that is the only option that remains.
I don’t think the betting platforms are to be blamed at this. For instance. They have no control over who wins and loses, let alone be provided control through fixing matches. This isn’t Peaky Blinders. This is real life and with a game as massive and as prestigious as the literal game that will decide which team will represent Brazil in the world cup, for sure crackdowns against betting platforms and bookies who want to take advantage by fixing matches towards their favor. Pretty sure the very same parameters and security contingencies that allowed the Brazilian Football Authority to find and disable this operation are just a taste of what’s to come.
1443  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: May 13, 2023, 04:28:17 PM
Something could only be considered gambling if an equal or a placeholder of a value is put at stake in exchange of something with a higher valuation as a form of reward. With these Siperpicks as uou put it, that’s not really the case considering you don’t really put anything up in line, not even a single penny. And I’m quite interested to know how their whole business model looks too, because there’s no way in hell they’re anlento pay customers and winners like that without getting the money from somewhere, unless this is a money laundering scheme meant to ensure that those money are cleaned and not put into his name, quite possibly be put into the care of specific winners of whom the funder have connections with. I might just be spitballing here but there’s more to how these people could reward their players, and beyond the whole premise of a “betless” gamble, I think the manner at which they get the momey is much more important.
1444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: May 12, 2023, 08:34:13 PM
To study and predict in-game behaviors yes. But we all know that poker isn’t just about bluffing and folding or calling people out of their bluffs. It’s part of the game but that isn’t what necessarily wins it. It’s still having great cards and a better setup. With all these parameters to be predicted and detected over a large sample size I think ChatGPT will have a hard time being a reliable source of predictive information, especially in games like poker. With that being said it’s still possible, especially in future iterations of the AI LLM, but as it stands today even with GPT-4 levels I’d say it wouldn’t be up for this herculean task just considering the sample size it needs to derive usable data from. Not to mention the countless games as well as possible combinations, along with correlation to specific player behavior.
1445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Politicians behind the development of gambling platform on: May 12, 2023, 07:35:50 PM
A politician in the Philippines claimed to have had a hand in the development of the very controversial e-sabong platform he operated e-sabong so he can make a lot of money so he can use for the campaign, and his family to win local elections because the election in the Philippines is very costly many candidates are buying votes to secure their win, there were reports that he murdered their family's opponent because of e-sabong.
Do you think that government should have a rule or a law for election candidates not to have a franchise in any form of gambling, in fact, there are a lot of politicians who are operators of illegal small-town lotteries this is to accumulate funds they can use for election campaigns.

Congressman confirms past stint with e-sabong when it was not yet banned by gov’t
Personally, I have no qualms if a candidate got his funds from gambling, it’s really costly to run for candidacy, let alone in one of the scummiest place too (government-wise). I’ll have a problem however, if the candidacy entails using funds gained from corruption and stealing, coz then it would mean that the funds arwn’t gained from legal means yeah? It’s also the same story with what rhey will do with the funds. Vote buying, actively bribing election personnel to hack the system and give them an unfair advantage against their opponents, among other negative things are just abhorrent and are inexcusable in my book.

As for this guy, further investigation may be required to see if has to be incarcerated or something.
1446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another betting fraud in Brazil - part 2 on: May 12, 2023, 06:57:08 PM
Seems like the Brazilian Soccer scene is going towards the shitter day by day. Never heard of a league getting outted for two different cases of fixing until them. Personally speaking, suspension of the players l, as well as having the whole Brazil barred from playing in the world cup for one run is an enough punishment to scare them from doing something like this again. Brazil is a very tough country to govern, with all the crime and other forms of illegal activity happening in the country every minute. It only males sense to give these people a much harsher punishment cause it is quite possible considering the country’s nature (and I don’t mean this in any form of racism) is that they’re hard as hell, and therefore even harder to control and provide punishments too cause they’d just laugh it off.
1447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and How Do you watch live boxing and MMA matches on: May 12, 2023, 06:15:29 PM
Facebook streaming. And for a couple of reasons too!

For one, the whole site is becoming less and less moderated due to the decline in active users, which means unsolicited fight streams get away with just being posted in there, and with no issues or fear of getting caught and receiving the ban hammer too!

Second, it’s much like twitch now with all these donations and stars coming in that helps a streamer get by, and even though it’s not much, it’s definitely something and could inspire the streamer to do more of those in the future.

Lastly, it’s free, and you can run it even in the weakest of computers. Facebook being built for much older devices makes it very friendly for users across the planet. So it generally offers high quality streaming, without taking up too much phone or PC ram. And yeah it’s cross platform too so you can watch it everywhere!
1448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: May 12, 2023, 05:31:09 PM
I really hate it when casinos pull stunts like these even though of course, this is something that is stated in their ToS. It’s supposed to be an unspoken rule that you are to be given the opportunity to withdraw your assets from them anytime you want. Because there’s no real incentive in these wagering requirements other than to retain the customer’s funds to keep the casino from working as lazy as possible and not offering secure remunerations for their players, which are things that need no further explanation, are telltale signs that the casino you’re dealing with is a big sham.

Casinos should allow you to withdraw without requiring you to put on a wager. You already played in their house for god’s sakes. It’s mad insulting at this point to disallow gamblers from getting their money nack or their winnings over petty requirements.
1449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of rewards/bonuses do you prefer? on: May 11, 2023, 09:48:39 PM
Milestone and loyalty rewards for sure. Deposit rewards and bonuses are a one-time nog-time thing and I’m not really fond of that. It’s a bit lazy on the bookie/casino’s part and is only meant to eeel in newer customers while leaving current and long-running customers with no form of compensation whatsoever. Loyalty rewards as well as milestone bonuses however rewards the player for staying with the casino. And encourages customer eetention which is good on a business standpoint. As a customer I want to keep receiving rewards for as long as I stay with one casino, and to feel like my stay there is welcome and is important. This only happens with loyalty rewards and so I tend to steer away from casinos/sportsbooks that offer one-time bigtime deposit and withdrawal bonuses, with nothing to show for its older customers. It shows me where their priorities are and frankly I couldn’t stand by a casino that works like that.
1450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need your opinion on the casino project ( gambling ) on: May 11, 2023, 07:18:39 PM
Recommendations are generally accepted here. Especially for some of the peeps in here trying to find a new casino to sink their hours on. As for this particular gambling site you just told us, I think it will be really bice for you to try it out first before asking people to try it for you, since I don’t know, you’re the one who opened the can of worms. Going back, try it out for uourself, give out a cpuple of insights just as you have said in a proceeding post, and then encourage people to try it out too and from there, we could compare and contrast answers and reviews. Would be exceptionally better if the site itself makes their account in this forum to act as a main point of contact, perhaps sponsor a couple of reviews as well so these honest people don’t have to spend their dimes over a risky task.
1451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: May 11, 2023, 06:19:11 PM
I am so surprised to see that this thread is still open despite the sheer amount of forum members that are telling you 0P that there is no possible way for you to be able to earn as much as $100 on a regular daily basis just by gambling. I keep telling you to look for a more consistent earning Avenue than what gambling could offer.  For instance, looking for a part-time job is a good way to start earning money and you may not earn as much as $100 from it, but at least you can secure regular pay and you don’t have to risk losing money in the process. Gambling as it is today is merely a way for you to let off some steam and to relax. It can never be considered as a substitute for a full-time, paying job, nor as a way for you to earn money, at least consistently due to the nature of this industry.
1452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sending bank statement for verification on: May 11, 2023, 05:38:29 PM
I think it is safe to send those long as it is a reputable gamnling site you’re dealing with. Otherwise I wouldn’t really advise sending bank statements over a complete stranger. What you could do at the very least, ifi this is something that really needs to be done and something that just couldn’t wait is for you to cover any sensitive info, just leaving out the last four number to help the gambling site compare and contrast bank statements with what they have on their end. I used to have this kind of problem in the past and I asked this particular gambling site’s customer service if I could cover up the majority of my account number, leaving only thr last 4 digits so rhey can identify it was mine and they obliged.

You just have to ask basically.
1453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you favor betting on spesific sport? on: May 11, 2023, 05:05:04 PM
It's normal if people will bet in the specific sports they are knowledgeable of. Having enough knowledge on the sports gives you an edge over other bettors from winning. If you have relevant and updated information needed to predict the course of the game progression, then you have a higher probability of making a calculated prediction of the game outcome. Especially if you know the strengths and weaknesses of the team players and the team itself, it will be a less challenging analysis on your end. But of course, analyzing the situation should still be done with caution since no matter how confident and sure you are on the capabilities of your choice, sometimes fate has other plans.

Some like to bet on ball games because they know so much about it and they have fun watching it. So I guess it's really to each his own. Sometimes people also have this some sort of belief that pushes us to do something because of the charm or luck aside from being well-informed.
It’s not just normal, it’s the norm. It’s what’s logically acceptable and is what makes sense given the premise. Yes there are a couple of people who bet on games they don’t even know the mechanics of, but at the same time there’s really no fun in not knowing how you won, so you’ll see people betting in games that they at least have surface-level knowledge of. As for sports betting, it’s less common since most players, especially when it comes to basketball and football all seem to automatically favor their home team over others, regardless if whether the team players of their home team are good or bad. Which is why there are still Cubs fans even to this day lmao.
1454  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: May 10, 2023, 08:37:48 PM
I got a bad impression about  casino Stake
I lost 15 deposits without ever withdrawing money

Is that why you created this https://www.gambler.casino/stake-suspected-scam/ ?

I using Stake almost daily and never had any problem with deposit or withdrawing once.
By far the best sports betting site with crypto in my opinion.
So I can´t agree with you or your websites article.
But of course I cant speak for everyone, but for me as a softcore sports better i never had any problem.

No, this is completely different and does not apply to my game!
This entry was submitted by a player who is unable to withdraw funds from Stake. Similar articles have already been posted on other sites.
So, what are you getting on with not being able to withdraw money from Stake. I mean I wanted to be open and more helpful than these people who suspect that you just lost, perhaps you really are having problems and Stake is quite responsive with customer issues. But if it was really just you losing I think you can’t blame Stake for that. The company’s literally a sports betting site, not a crypto-casino. In simpler terms they just facilitate the betting part of the equation, they have no real hold over the outcomes of the games that they put out on their website. If you lost, then it’s a you issue, and you should maybe rethink your life choices especially if such a loss already wore you down like this. Perhaps you may need to seek professional help or something.
1455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer Original Slots or slots from 3rd party Slot providers? on: May 10, 2023, 06:54:53 PM
Honestly, both are good. They obviously cater to a specific demographic of slot gamblers.

Those who wanted to play slots but are bored of the fruit/number/letter/etc. bullcrap and would want to see a little spice on their games, even if it completely strips the slot game they knew and love of its general identity and left it with really weird visuals (weirder than bowling alley animations) and the basic rules and gist of a slot game. There are also people who are into the classic slots, those who take things seriously, or aren't a big fan of quirky and confusing visuals, even if it meant them having to stare at the same boring and uninteresting machine with numbers/fruits/letters/symbols over and over again. All they want is to play, to win, and to play even more. The visuals can wait.

Personally, I could care less. I could play both and I wouldn't really mind. I'm all for great visuals but every now and then I would get tired of it and would come back to regular old slots. Sometimes I want to see nice visuals and graphics, as well as a complete overhaul from the spinning slots I have known since I started gambling. I'm saying it offers a piece of its pie to everyone. and if you're a complete fan of one and a relentless hater of the other, that's fine!
1456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How's your gambling experience right now? on: May 10, 2023, 05:23:03 PM
Not me obviously. I took a rest on gambling for a while now even when the fees are still relatively manageable. Tanked a nasty loss which caused to me rethink life and touch grass again. I can see this transaction fee situation with bitcoin being a good reason why there's an expected decline in the gambling industry, at least in its overall usage. Worst comes to worse this may even kick bitcoin out of the options for payment and gambling. Hopefully it doesn't but I can see it happening if the situation doesn't get better. All in all, for those who aren't big on gambling, especially the ones who take mini-bets like me every now and again. I actually urge you guys to touch grass and invest this time to your friends and families. They'll thank you.
1457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Aliens accept BTC, What about newborns? on: May 08, 2023, 06:43:02 PM
A little egotistic to think that Aliens will conform to our societal traditions and beliefs, money and economy included. Matter of fact, who's to say that they are even using money from where they live? perhaps some advanced civilization from the outskirts of the deep space have figured out how to live harmoniously without killing your kin for resources or money. Perhaps they don't have the concept of money and are literally doing the barter method since time immemorial. Or perhaps, they have made a much better form of currency system that would span lightyears and lightyears away without compromise? These are little theoretical brain exercises but it begs the question of not whether these aliens are going to be accepting of bitcoin or money thereof, but of if they will be willing to conform to human values and ideas.
1458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] FIDE Candidates Chess Tournament 2022 on: May 07, 2023, 08:32:52 PM
Ding Liren probably won't be world champion for very long once Carlsen feels like playing again. I just don't understand what Carlsen's exact problem was, why didn't he just want to defend his title? Financially it won't be a problem. He has already indicated that he has little motivation, but he will still have to make do with the current opponents in the world top. There are new super talents, but not those that go to the 2800 rating. I would like to play Aronian in a battle for the World Cup one more time, that man has been around for a while and has already won a few times against the entire world top, including Carlsen. He is also one of the few who has won Wijk Aan Zee several times. But that was before Carlsen came to dominate chess.
Just the normal burnout you get when you're groomed to play chess to the point that it became your whole life and personality. The guy deserves a break, honestly we could leave this one tick down his record in the past once he gets the drive to play again but even if he didn't, and he felt like not playing Chess anymore, to the point that he's considering retirement (which is quite possible considering how he's made enough of himself already and how stressful the whole industry is to him) he'd still go down as one of the greatest. I have high hopes for Ding, but until he treats time wisely in his games I'm pretty sure Nepo's gonna knock him out of that pedestal sometime in the future.
1459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling or gaming sites on: May 07, 2023, 07:58:04 PM
Has anyone known and played at these sites? Do let me how was their experience and what sort of games are there ?
Are they pure gambling sites or a mixture of gambling and gaming sites ? Although you need coins to play at these sites and you can redeem the winning coins into fiat money.
I recently known these sites through some articles but I think they are a paid ones just to promote them. I haven't been able to play or check it, maybe you could try it for us in here and check if they're paying and if the games are way too cool. I think these are gaming sites and not gambling sites.
Most likely. Saw the way they write their articles too. Too gratifying, maybe even putting these gambling sites into some sort of gambling pedestal as if to say they are the future big boys in the industry. That to me is a big red flag. If that still doesn't convince anyone that these sites could be 1xbit 2: electric boogaloo, then maybe a couple dollars locked on a scammy gambling site shouldn't be too bad. Redeeming some sort of in-house token, while not really a cause for concern, is also something these untrustworthy sites do to prevent people from getting into their prize money. I know it's a little too early to point fingers on anyone but the signs to me are there, and if you guys aren't willing to lose money in the process then I say take my advise and stick to sites with reputable backgrounds, or at least gambling sites that have some sort of working customer service.
1460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Back and Lay in sportbook on: May 06, 2023, 09:56:58 PM
In my understanding in sports bets, these are all redirected to the odds calculation and its potential reward, this is most popular in most of the online casinos and if you do not mind the simple way to take them is that both 1.02-1.04 are all odds representing the selected bets in whichever ways it all ball down to the odds.

In other not to get myself confused, I always opt for the direct winning games selections, most especially in football matches.
It's not like these betting options are available with all bookies. i haven't seen any crypto sportsbook offer these types of betting options. It's always just the regular you choose who you're rooting for and sometimes, especially in specific types of matches like boxing or UFC fights we get to choose how they would win. In football matches I've seen this betting be done but only in fiat and live sportsbook games, so the statement still stands. It seems like this betting dynamic is slowly losing its relevance to the general public in favor of much easier to understand and execute options such as direct winning as you have said.
