1281  Economy / Economics / Re: Landed properties is the best investment on: June 19, 2023, 06:37:26 PM
The thing is, it's hard to penetrate the real estate business if you don't have prior experience to it, no money to purchase lands/foreclosed properties, or don't have any connections on the said investment vehicle. Those that I mentioned are the most important things you need to have in order to make money in real estate. This is no longer the 80s or 90s wherein it's fairly easy to acquire a property somewhere and hold on to it. Everything is being gatekept nowadays by land developers and other commercial investors that the average person can no longer get a piece of the action in this asset class.
Not as hard as you make it out to be. A friend of mine with no prior connections to anyone in the land/real estate world was able to but himself solid properties but he still needed to develop those himself. Still this goes to show that anyone with good credit and the money to boot will be able to buy properties without a sweat. Although I’m guessing you’re talking about your country in which case that sucks. If stuff liek that works you could still look into buying properties outside ofcyour country just like what Japan’s been doing all these years cause of their declining population. Houses there are at a surplus and people are just leaving homes—even in the busiest parts of Japan for some reason. So you can bet your bottom dollar you’d get some nice profit out of it if you were to flip it for cash or develop it into establishments as Japan’s pretty big in those.
1282  Economy / Economics / Re: Could there be a new financial system not dependent on USD? on: June 19, 2023, 06:11:38 PM
Yes, it’s quite possible but there’s going to be “repercussions” from the UN and the rest of its allies if a country were to decide they wanna cut ties with the USD moving forward. They can use Gold and Oil like Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Middle East, or other forms of stores of value like other countries not affiliated with the US but it will all hoil down to them finding an alternative store of value/reserve currency to make up for the absence of USD. Plus they also have to ready themselves in the military sector to make sure that they’d be ready should retaliations from the west commence cause we all know how the US works when things don’t go their way.

In the end it is possible but it requires resources and balls of lead to actually carry it out.
1283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A hilarious video that shows so many persons ignorance about bitcoin on: June 19, 2023, 05:56:26 PM
It’s the paradox of value at play. You can’t expect these Nigerians to choose bitcoin too since they most likely don’t know about bitcoin in the first place, or the value that it possesses. It could also be that they are in dire need of money and would rather choose the quick cash over compounding value since they need it right now and not for the next bull run. See there’s so many things at play here and we fling ignorance at them not knowing what stuff they are personally going through that pushed them to choose that over bitcoin. Perhaps a little openness and perspective could help you with that? It’s funny cause we know how valuable bitcoin is but if the situations were changed, and you’re someone who doesn’t know bout bitcoin asked on-the-spot if you would choose your local currency over bitcoin, what would you do?
1284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes Bitcoins valuable? on: June 19, 2023, 05:43:38 PM

bitcoin is indeed very valuable because bitcoin supply is limited.

but I don't understand when you say that bitcoin is a store of value, because what I know is that bitcoin is a digital currency and many people buy btc to make it an asset.
but investing in bitcoin is of course very risky because btc has a fluctuating nature, so in my opinion btc is not suitable as a store of value.
for gold, I agree that it is used as a store of value asset.
It is essentially a store of value because if you'll look at its lifetime chart you'd find that it increases in value steadily and exponentially too. Which is a common trope amongst these types of investments. Furthermore, essentially stores of value don't have to be "stable" as back in the days there's no definitive value for gold and silver anyway, we just supposed them for being valuable even if there were no technical applications for these precious metals other than the fact that they look pretty. And with bitcoin having a lot of applications this early in the game it's safe to say that it fits the bill quite perfectly regardless if it fluctuates in value or not. I'd argue that the very reason why it is a great asset to invest in short-term or long-term is its volatile nature even, as it gives way for large pumps to happen which you wouldn't see in any other type of asset in the market.
1285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A no-Bitcoin friend turned a old Bitcoiner on: June 19, 2023, 05:05:34 PM
I mean for their safety of course. The only people who goes out of their own way to let everyone know that they are investing in bitcoin are those who have little to none of it in the first place and are only doing it for clout or to perhaps look cool in front of their friends. Your friend's clearly not the type of guy to play with his own security so I don't think this hiding of his investments from you is in any way a low blow or what. We all have ways to make sure nobody ever gets their hands on our investments, be it online or offline. I even saw one time a guy hide his investments from his wife only to have it be taken away from him when divorce came and happened. It's not wrong to hide what you do from the people you're with, and I don't think this is something you should stress over since after all, he's still your friend and it's probably for the best.
1286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin Be Badly Hurt if Binance Goes Down? on: June 19, 2023, 04:38:29 PM
Bitcoin's gonna receive a gut punch for a while and may even lose value just as what happened when the Terra Founder was found guilty of corruption, mind you that cryptocurrency was not even related one bit to bitcoin and the whole industry still suffered the consequences. So it's quite possible for bitcoin to floor even if Binance goes down in the US. However, there's also a great possibility for bitcoin to bounce back soon for some reason just as it did in 2020. There's no good reason for bitcoin to pump in value back then since it was during the height of the COVID0-19 pandemic and people are frantic left and right trying to find ways to make ends meet and stay alive and yet it did.

Plus all the evidences leads towards bitcoin losing a significant amount of its valuation if and only if Binance is to go down, it has happened before with FTX and other Exchanges, the repercussions will be even more severe if binance were to go down.
1287  Other / Archival / Re: No panic while holding my Bitcoin on: June 19, 2023, 04:09:37 PM
First of all, welcome to forum and I have to say that you chose a very good time to buy your first bitcoin.

Indeed knowledge is power, because knowledge can save you when money failed, because knowledge failure is a lifetime problem but money failure in terms of investment is temporally and if I wait I will soon be in profit again very soon, that is what past records have shown and proven.
Regarding this "I will be in the profit very soon" part, that doesn't have to necessarily be true as it may be even years before bitcoin goes back to the levels where you bought it so you should be be prepared for that scenario as well. Having said that, since you bought your first bitcoin much cheaper than ATH price was, chances are that you won't have to wait for years to be in profit.
Great reality check. A lot of people in this industry come with the idea of quick profits which is great and true to some degree but at the same time it doesn't happen as often as these newbies think. There's definitely dry spells and periods of no movement, which we may be in right now since the price of bitcoin never moved from its 26-27k support. But at the same time this is great exercise to help people be accustomed to how things go in the bitcoin industry.

I joined bitcoin with the very same idea that was shattered when I lost significant amounts of my investment in 2018, from there I worked my way up and was able to even go beyond of what I initially thought would set me up for life. Bitcoin pays those who wait but the secret is to not expect that much.
1288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Explanation on Bitcoin Fees on: June 19, 2023, 03:55:41 PM
They are normal, but they are not explained well by Kraken or by anyone. I don't think you need to contact them at all considering how this could easily be explained. I saw a couple guys here too explain this to you but let me put it in a language you could understand.

You got free 20 bucks from buying your ledger wallet, you installed kraken and you transferred bitcoins and ethereum to it too prior to buying the ledger wallet.
When your 20 bucks free came into your wallet, you only saw 18.05, this is normal, you basically paid Kraken 2 bucks for the transaction, and the 5 euros you see in perhaps the transaction hash is not what you paid, but rather what Kraken paid for the transaction to process. This payment goes towards the miners who facilitated your transaction, and is one way for them to profit from this industry besides mining for bitcoin. If you keep depositing money on Kraken, and then withdrawing them to your ledger wallet you'd keep seeing this 2 different transaction fees getting processed. This is normal as you basically bridged 2 different platforms.
1289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ambivalent attitude to gambling on: June 19, 2023, 03:39:07 PM
I doubt if billions of people around the world are into gambling, I will like to use my family for example, only two out of a family that consists of 100s of people do gambling, and that includes me and a cousin.

Many people know how dangerous gambling can be for them, some chooses not to have a taste of it at all, they choose to stay away and they hate gambling to the core.

I know gambling is very risky but how can it be life threatening when all you risk is few bucks you made from your salary or extra income? Start risking 10$ or 30$ to win 100$ or 500$, this will never hurt you, unless you are those greedy idiots that want gambling to be their source of income, then you will deserve what's coming.

Start using amount that wont hurt if you lose it and stop dreaming for a life changing opportunity using gambling, the worst things of life is not too far away from you if you start dreaming great things with gambling.

That's still within statistics. There's approximately 8 billion people in the world as we speak, and if we are to take into account the fact that you have 2 people in your family that gambled, and supposed that every family had at least 2 people who tried gambling in their lives, or better yet actively gambled the statistics of around 1.6 billion people still is sound. This doesn't mean that people aren't aware of the apparent dangers of gambling and how it can ruin lives, but at the same time it all boils down to how good you are at controlling yourself and your urges. Gambling when done right is a great way to destress and relax from a very busy day at work or at life, I've seen very successful people visit the casino every now and again not to burn their pockets but to have fun with people that they love (they usually bring family members/friends with them which is one thing that sets people who gamble for fun and people who gamble for money for me). So it's one thing.
1290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Friendly Match is Hard to Predict on: June 19, 2023, 03:14:33 PM
I just lost 3 Friendly Match last week ago, and all match results draw Grin,

  • Morocco - Cape Verde,
  • Germany - Ukraine,
  • and Indonesia vs Palestine

I don't know why a strong team like German and Morocco didn't play seriously when meet in a friendly match. this will be noted and experienced in the future, So if you are bet in a friendly match, be careful to bet, don't look at how strong that team and squad, just look and be brave to bet in a draw. This is just my opinion, not always all friendly matches result for draw, but with my 3 last bets, I have a thing to bet 70% in the draw  Grin,

how about you?
That's the thing about friendly matches, people will goof off and will not be at their competitive level since there's no need to anyway. I think that's pretty much established right from the get-go already so I don't see the reason why you'd play on friendly matches in the first place lmao, but let's just suppose this is your first time and you're not aware how things go in these types of games. Moving on, I'd rather bet on games that I know are played competitively and are made with the intention of actually winning it, not to practice/waste people's time watching how the goof off on the field. It's funny watching them without betting though as it removes the tension we've been so accustomed with football matches, but that's the end of it mostly.
1291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A discussion On Too Much Gambling Addiction Topic on: June 19, 2023, 02:32:37 PM
I will lock this thread once it reaches 40 responses or the discussion reaches its high point.

I understand there is a call to minimize gambling addiction topics

I think topics/discussion on gambling addictions is too much

I understand the concern raised, but we need to understand that this forum is an internet platform since it has a good rank every topic that we discuss and started is indexed immediately by Google for those visitors who are looking for their concerns.

I have here two samples of topics about gambling addiction and both topics landed on the first page
so my point is we are helping this forum to gain more traffic and visitors if we have a unique and fresh topic and this is why what we advertise in our signature gets more leads.

I voted that the topic of gambling should be minimized but if there are unique topics about gambling addiction it's okay to create one.

So it's like this
A good discussion gets indexed for new visitors and new leads for what we advertise.

This is my take what's your take?

I pretty much stand by what you are talking about here. We all need exposure for this forum every now and again anyway otherwise the people behind this forum wouldn't be able to pay for stuff. It's just that in spirit of making sure all discussions are fruitful and are relevant, I also stand by the idea that we have to minimize a couple of posts about gambling addiction, in favor of much more relevant discussions. There's nothing wrong with talking about how you fucked up and are now a gambling addict hoping to get some form of recovery in the future, but at some point these people are doing it either for merits, for 5 minutes of internet fame, or basically just to rake in sympathy, only for them to go back to gambling the moment they get a chance which is just god-awful for me. Plus these threads become breeding grounds for shitposters/commenters too.

I don't know either how we could come up with a fool-proof plan to filter out these nasty things but I sure do hope something of the likes come up in the future.
1292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Categories of Unrealistic Sports Betting Expectations on: June 19, 2023, 02:18:31 PM
We encounter different categories of sports bettors every day, both online and offline. However, some of them express unrealistic expectations regarding their potential winnings.

The first category is composed of sports bettors with a $1000 bankroll who hope to make $100,000 by the end of the year. In what universe do they think this is possible? Such expectations are unrealistic and only occur in the lottery, not in sports betting. Even in sports betting, it would be a chance occurrence, happening only once in every 100 bets. A more realistic expectation would be to aim for increasing their bankroll.

The second category consists of individuals seeking guaranteed wins and fixed bets or matches. These individuals are frequently seen on platforms such as Twitter, Telegram, Discord, and others where sports betting is discussed. They are often the first to express their desire for guaranteed games and fixed matches/bets, believing they will surely win. Unfortunately, these individuals are easily scammed due to scammers taking advantage of their gullibility.

What other categories of unrealistic sports betting expectations have you encountered?
I beg to differ, although this is not really representative of the general sportsbettor population, I've seen people in here (exactly this forum) post ludicrous bets that yield them massive wins. One of which is @NAPK1NS_RAE (I'm not sure if I got his username correctly, but I digress) who got famous in this forum while still being a newbie by bagging massive wins, only to fumble them later lmao. I've seen him win a bet for 90k in one go, and then lose all of it on a soccer match right after. He almost bagged 500k last time if I'm not mistaken but he fumbled it again. If this was a regular guy we're talking about I'd seriously stop and advise him to not make any more belligerent bets cause that's going to put a dent on his life and his future but it seems like this guy could bag wins if he wanted to and he's doing this for fun, albeit he still regrets losing lots of money especially after a massive win is fumbled. Anyhow, I'd still agree with you on everything, just wanted to talk about the guy who broke the system (for me) and the guy that's exempted from all this "don't make ludicrous bets" shenanigans.
1293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling, investment, stocks..... on: June 19, 2023, 02:03:32 PM
Since gambling companies are registered companies, is it possible that they have stocks? Is there anyway to invest in a gambling stock? Or let's say gambling related stocks? I am thinking that if this is possible then this could be one of the ways to get the best out of gambling and investment, I can't help but think that most gambling companies in the U.S are almost successful, only little to none run of out business in few years, gambling is a lucrative business, so I need answers if this is possible. Thanks

Most of these gambling firms have registered themselves in the SEC so for sure they have stocks you can invest in. Some that are not registered especially those that are closely-tied with the cryptocurrency world puts value on their utility tokens as a form of stock investment, much like Betfury which is the prime example of a gambling site which uses their own token for funding and for valuation.
Why do you have to invest in gambling stocks, while in my opinion it is not more profitable than investing in crypto, I, if asked to choose, it is better to be a gambler than investing in a gambling platform because it is clear that it is more certain to be a gambler than to be a gambling stock investor, but it all comes back to you if you want to know more maybe there will be recommendations from friends from this forum to share it with you.

I'm only giving advice not to invest in something you don't understand, if you are familiar with stocks it might not be a problem but if you are not used to investing, it is better to do deeper research so that you don't make investing mistakes and ultimately lose your money. it's better to lose gambling than losing money on gambling stock investments or choosing to invest in crypto alone is enough.  Wink
I'm pretty sure he knows what he's doing and he's very piqued to invest in gambling sites for the apparent success that they earned. I don't think it is wrong just cause you won't invest in it lmao. Let the man have his fun. Pretty sure he'd do his homework too if he feels like he needs to and it's not something that you have to reiterate to him cause there's no way a guy who knows nothing about stocks and investing in them will ask people in this forum about investing in casino stocks. That's just stupid.
1294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How the casino takes money from you with a deposit bonus on: June 19, 2023, 01:25:50 PM
The best bonus is not to take the bonus if it has a big wager, because it will be -EV (-Expected value). Any casino game is -EV, if you play by the rules of the casino. I will give an example of why you should not take deposit bonuses with a high wager. The casino gives a 100% bonus on the first deposit and wager x40 (D+B) = 200 x40 = 8k, we make a deposit of $100 and they give us another $100 = $200 (wager 200*40=8k). The casino has an average RTP of 96% (percent is different everywhere, depends on slots or house games and so on). For every $100 wagered we get back $96 according to the mathematical expectation (100-96=4), $960 for 1k wager (1000-960=40), $7680 for 8k wager (8000-7680=320). And after the full wagering, we will lose $320 (D+B and also we need more $120), which gives a very large -EV. Who thinks about this and the casinos began to raise the wager.

It's true that all casino games are negative EV for the player and it will be very unlikely for us to win constantly at the games. The longer we play the more likely is it for the casino to win. Which is not guaranteed though, the negative EV means that on average the number of losers at the casino will be higher than the number of winners. That's how the casino makes it money, but it's not a guarantee that there will be only losers. Some gamblers will be lucky and make money. As for your calculation the deposit bonus is only, and with a x40 wager requirement it would mean we need to wager 4k USD. The 96% RTP is not specific, with roulette or a good blackjack strategy we can get higher winning chances. So even with the lower 96% we would have 3840 USD after watering 4k, which would leaves us with 40 from our 100. And let's say we play more optimal with 98% RTP, we would make 20 USD profit. Also most deposit bonuses are 200%. So far k had good experiences with deposit bonuses, just don't focus on instantly chasing out again, eventually you will hit the barrier to withdraw.
You've a hint of truth regarding casino bonuses, yet a deeper grasp of casino math is vital. All games being -EV is, broadly, correct but remember, it's an extended period average. An individual's reality could differ greatly. Your RTP point, around 96%, overlooks a key fact: RTP reflects millions of spins, not one game. So, one could still score a big win short-term, RTP notwithstanding. Moreover, discussing expected losses, wagering requirement and bonus size are key. A smaller requirement could, in theory, make a bonus worthwhile, even with a -EV game.
While there's some truth to your statement, I'm pretty positive that RTP stands and represents well how much your average win will be regardless. The problem with your statement is that it takes into account eventualities that do not happen in average, whereas these guidelines are made to give the gamblers a pretty good picture of how a usual game will go, regardless of how many spins/turns it took for them to come up with that percentage.

Let me ask you this, how many people win massive short-term prizes in slots in one sitting? Do they represent the general public of people who are gambling in slots? Are their results relevant enough to take into account when you're talking about EV and RTP? I don't think so.
1295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots 102: The Provably Fair Slots (with poll) on: June 19, 2023, 11:28:44 AM
I love the Play n Go slots with my top slot rated to be the Swords and the Holy Grail. What I love most is the bonus round which falls quite often on the reels in most of my gameplays. It has the beautiful option to collect swords which in turn raise your wild multiplier up to 100x your bet.So far never seen a better slot.
Play n Go all the way. I must say though that their titles although a little redundant and tiresome at times, are a great testament to how trusted they are in the industry. I personally like the Rise of Olympus and have played that game for a couple of hours already, as well as that one Egyptian-themed slot game they also issued that I forgot the name of. Really hoping a new addition could be made within the next few months though, I'm itching to find new provably fair slots again!

Thanks for starting this discussion on provably fair slots! It's crucial to ensure transparency and fairness in online casinos, especially when it comes to slots. Trusting a centralized entity can sometimes be a challenge, so having provably fair slots is a game-changer.
So how is this really going to contribute to the overall health of the discussion? It's like you just gave props and then you walked away without even giving something from your end so people could visit it/avoid it if ever. Of course having provably fair slots are game-changing as it insinuates trust but I think that's already been established from the get-go otherwise these types of games wouldn't take off.
1296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: June 18, 2023, 07:44:50 PM
Quote
Stereotypically, gender is also cited as one of the reasons why people like to gamble. One of the research findings shows that women tend to prefer percentage-odds-based games and men tend to prefer skill-based games.

For example, poker, from a man's point of view is considered a skill-based gamble. While women see it as a game of calculating the odds.

In gambling, generally, women don't like it when others see them lose. Girls probably prefer slot machines because no one sees players win or lose.

Gambling with slot machines is often a personal experience free of guilt or shame. While the men are not like that.

According to research, when a man loses a gamble, there's a machismo attached to him saying, "Yeah, I lost £500, but I can afford it."

And when you win big, guys like it to be exposed right away. Because, they consider this as part of the skill.

This difference in reasons does not necessarily indicate whether men prefer to gamble than women. Women who like to gamble or men who like to gamble are both related to the courage to take risks.

For different reasons, people who like to gamble see it as fun and for reasons that are more complex than just economics.
Read more (use google translate)

Do you think the results of the research above are correct?

I know that the number of women involved in gambling is very small because in some countries, people's views of female gamblers are still very bad and they are considered dirty and unfit to be a wife. maybe the results of this research can be used by gambling business owners in developing their business.

When I first came here where I live now for work some years ago,in a small Western Balkan country I immediately was surprised by the big number of casino places and lotto clubs, they even had a clone name of Caesar Palace which in my honest review they had done it really well with free snacks and drinks as long as you would play a minimum of 20 dollars.

This was one of the big casinos and men were massively playing there however also women came there occasionally and I did not see a big difference in behavior between men and women except men are always more and this is natural,so most likely that research has some truth in it.
Just speaking alone from experience you could really say that  the machismo when it comes to men gambling is really there, but not especially hwne a gambler doesn’t have a big bankroll. In my country. people will probably sweat profusely upo ng losing that much money in one go, but at the same time you’d see them gambling again cause in their heads either a “I can regain those losses anyway” or a “I can afford the loss” is playing which even drives them to gamble more. Not so sure about the behaviors of women in gambling but I can say pretty much that they takena lore relaxed approach with gambling compared to the borderline competitive approach that male gamblers take.
1297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: June 18, 2023, 07:31:35 PM
*sighs* here we go again with people trying to justify gambling as a source of income when they can easily just fill up an application form and get themselves a regular 9-5 that doesn't put their entire savings and their family's future in the line.

First off, are you good at gambling? Do you win more than lose? Do you think you have what it takes to take on the pro scene and be pitted against people who have probably cracked the secrets to the game way before you did? Second, Are you really willing to put your stuff on the line for some strategy you saw on the internet, even worse someone you heard from? I'm not that belligerent and gullible but I sure as hell know people will fall for this kind of crap. I mean there are people who used gambling consultation services lmao.

Gambling is not a form of profit-taking venture. It is an entertainment method that you do when you want to wind out and experience the joy of spending money you don't mind losing. If you think of gambling otherwise, and you're not any of those two I mentioned above then you might wanna ask yourself if you're still sane or something.

1298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you find it offensive to be referred to as an addicted gambler? on: June 18, 2023, 07:10:46 PM
Many people find it difficult to accept who they are and the bad habits that they have, accepting a habit is the first step that will determine if any help offered to you will work. As a gambler, will you find it offensive if you are referred to as a gambling addict? will you easily accept it or try to give excuses like some other people do, saying that they are not addicted to gambling when the signs are clearly there. Do you think identifying as an addicted gambler will make people stereotype you. The answer is different for every gambler here.
I don't think the issue of "will they accept the branding" is the issue here. The problem is accepting that they have a problem, the branding comes after that. Of course gamblers, addicted or not, will have a negative reaction when you call them addicted gamblers, most especially if you mean the branding. But a responsible gambler will not carry on with his shit upon hearing something like that, he'd assess himself, and would most likely takea break, most definitely a gambler that's spiraled into addiction will see this as something offensive, rant about it/bitch about it elsewhere, and then carry on with his/her unhealthy practices. It's all about self-awareness and the willingness to see the picture from a different angle. Addicted gamblers will have a one-track mind dedicated solely for gambling so you can't reason with them even if your life depended on it, the more desperate they are the harder it will be to convince them they are addicted too. So yeah, to me it's not about if they are offended about being called that, it's about what they do after that matters most.
1299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think topics/discussion on gambling addictions is too much on: June 18, 2023, 06:05:40 PM
This!

I've been saying it again and again. Gambling addiction stories are just tiresome to read and do not really contribute anything to the very topic itself, especially since a lot of the people who reported experiencing it gambles back anyway instead of actually seeking professional help like a regular human being. I get it, it needs to be magnified and more people should hear from it but most of the time it's just people ranting about their gambling losses, and then throwing deprecating shit at the bottom of their walls of text along the lines of "don't be like me" or "Don't fall for gambling addiction". Like of course, duh.

I think a mega-thread that could be propped up every now and again is more than enough to ensure that the discussion is still open and people can still talk about it, but I would highly suggest we include stuff like the suicide-hotline as well as contacts for institutions of rehabilitation that would come in handy for people who needs intervention.

Deposit bonuses are a death trap.

You put in money hoping you'd get something more out of it until you realize that the money you got from them will be spent on their games and in turn return to their pockets anyway, nobody has been able to cheat at this system so far (AFAIK, let me know if there's someone and have him share his strat to let other people know of it as well because this type of borderline scamming is just god awful) since it centers around the casino itself, so the best way to win the game is to really not play it. There are casinos who still do this to this day cause there's market for people who are gullible enough to believe in this shenanigan. In any case, just don't look for bonuses when you play in a casino. That should do it really.
