1861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What keeps you motivated to Hodl? on: August 29, 2018, 03:54:45 PM
I bought when the price was high, my mistake. So I have no choice except to hold because I already lost a lot of money. So, don't buy at high prices, friend!

Everybody talks about technology and I need people like you who dare to speak the truth. One of my motivations when I hold the coin is that I bought when the price was high and now I can not sell, if I sell I will lose money.I must hold it and i have no choice.

It can be seen from the development progress in the first year, if they already release the platform then it's good but if after a year they haven't release the platform then i will sell the coin because there's no future for a project without product.
There are some major coins have not yet released anything till this time. The only main reason is about the product but sometimes these people are believing in it caused by they are looking for the next pump and then they cna go out with the decent profit on their pouch.
1862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wallet for Ethereum on: August 29, 2018, 09:07:18 AM
I think Coinbase is the best ethereum store wallet, Coinbase is probably no longer too familiar with Bitcoin investors, currently, Coinbase supports Ethereum transactions. This is the safest and most economical Ethereum storage solution available today.
"The safest" well I dont think so, saving in coinbase means you are saving in an exchange, you have no absolute access to your funds, I can't say that's really secure even if they are big company but it's always better to keep the money yourself and have the best security aswell.
However most of people will have the same assumption as me, coinbase is nowhere "the best ethereum wallet" maybe it's good for people who dont want complicated things sacrificing the absolute access to your money but not good for peolpe who already have enough experience in crypto.
1863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How important is a community behind a crypto project? on: August 29, 2018, 08:51:53 AM
The community can be a powerful media for marketing strategies, and becoming increasingly important in this digital era, for crypto without a community he will die, because marketing through community is a powerful strategy to actively engage customers and without the impression of force, creating a flow of conversation and useful information, both for companies, consumers and markets.
I think the community is needed because this are the people who will help to promote and market the project for it to be well know and accepted. The community is very important in a project success because if the community does not believe in the project, then the project cannot succeed because it it what the community say about the project that will attract another investor to it but if not, then the otherwise will be the case. Right?
investor is part of the community so a crypto project without strong community behind it will definitely lacks of fund and hype aswell, just imagine developing a project that's aimed to be used publicly but have no community, it'll be the same as developing
nothing then, not giving any benefit to the society and so on. But a project even if it's a little bit useless but have strong community can still contribute to the society.
1864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long Crypto currency will survive? on: August 29, 2018, 08:46:58 AM
It is so obvious that the large part of participants are sure that crypto is immortal, I am glad to see it and I am sure that it will not die, there were so much spent strengths.
Not literally immortal but quite hard to extinct, you see it's decentralized where the ledger is distributed around the world, even if there's world war 3 that use nuclear and destroy the entire planet, there's still a tiny bit of chance that someone else's harddrive still contain the blockchain data and it can survive. Even if there's no internet the blockchain still can be run locally (maybe) so it's. really hard to get rid of cryptocurrency I guess.
1865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What attracts you to a good crypto exchange? on: August 29, 2018, 08:35:09 AM
Although there are obvious benefits to using certain crypto exchanges over others such as high liquidity and the ability to use your fiat currency (not so difficult for those USD holders), but what other factors attract you to a crypto exchange?
In my end, aside from liquidity and the ability to use fiat. The factors that attracts me to use a crypto exchange are, easy to use, lower fees, and easy to contact support in case something bad happen during deposit or withdrawal of funds.
as far as I know an exchange with high liquidity or popular usually tend to have quite bad support that it sometimes take a week just to get a single reply that usually is not solving the problem because they got overwhelmed with the amount of message they got but however it still can be tolerated because im sure that the error will not always come up everyday but the main thing that attract me is the probability of being scam quite low compared to new exchange that the owner itself is not revealing identity.
1866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not every blockchain project has a good future on: August 29, 2018, 08:12:02 AM
Yes that was true. We cannot deny that every project will succeed. Some projects were lacking of investors that's why they turned out to be a failure. Others were left by tge developers. No matter how other projects failed, atleast they have tried it in blockchain basis.

Oh, absolutely. There is just not enough space for all of these projects to thrive in and competition strips us down of the projects that can't compete or grow.
We should just think about it, if all the project has good future or success, then tons of people will invest into blockchain project but that's not the reality. instead, it's called natural selection where the weak lose and the strongest survive
about investor it's not a death sentence to a project, lack of investor could still make the devs continue the project to the point where it can be a huge success, just see some airdrop project that's still holding until now.
1867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies? on: August 29, 2018, 08:09:01 AM
I think in the world we are if you want to make some thing to be known very well or to be popular and with celebrities the can make cryptocurrency more popular.
if the celebrity is also a person who likes the crypto world I think it will be very good, and other people who see it will also immediately trust him, not because he is a famous person
They're endorsing crypto for reason and ofcourse it's because they are famous. that's the reason why most of ICO that want their project to be endorsed willing to pay huge amount of money just for an instastory.
ofcourse theres plenty of celebrities that's really interested in crypto but most of them are not going to do something for free.
1868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best wallet for altcoins? on: August 29, 2018, 07:34:17 AM
A good wallet is a wallet created by the development team and a local Wallet stock to be directly ready for sale.
But if you want an offline wallet then I recommend using TREZOR and NANO Ledger wallets.
there's 3rd party wallet that's good too but sometimes we need to look further into the source code so that we can know whether there's malicious script is inserted but I suggest only use the trusted ones that's being listed in many of recommendation website because trying to risk our money is just nor worth it.
but however using hardware wallet as your recommendation is the most safest way I know or just use isolated offline wallet and you dont need to worry about hacking.
1869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bouty and KYC on: August 29, 2018, 07:30:26 AM
I agree, because I don't want to disclose my data and I don't trust to ICO , my data can be leaked. That's why I pay attention to requirement prior to participate and this rules changing is awful.
Bounty participants aren't customers, that's why they aren't obligated to pass KYC

I understand your point but if  you are a bounty hunter and participate in signature campaign you  have no choice but to pass an kyc to get your bounty rewards. Perhaps there's a purpose why the bounty required KYC for participants like avoid using multiple accounts.
Main purpose is to comply with the regulation, if not the project imposed to a serious risk of being closed down by the authority. preventing people from cheating is an additional bonus and as far as I know most of the project requiring it too for the people who invested I think that's fair enough for both of the side but sometimes it's just too risky to give away our really important data to someone we don't know didnt it? that's why if I can I will avoid such thing.
1870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are you still using MEW? on: August 29, 2018, 07:17:32 AM
Yes , I am still using My Ether Wallet (MEW) . IS there any problem so please let me know . I think it is safe to use MEW if used properly and not giving your private key to anyone will be the best choice .
That sounds easy but you don't know when will you get attacked by the hacker and if you are accidentally submitting your private key to a phishing site that'd be a serious problem.
You can use web wallet all you want but just be sure to keep checking on your security and use 2fa or hardware wallet if possible.
1871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best altcoin 2018 for today on: August 05, 2018, 05:17:18 AM
Hey guys! Wink Which coin 2018 will succeed and prove its usefulness? Huh Vote and leave comments! Roll Eyes
none of them, i guess they are all shitty coins and they can't even inluded on the list of best coin of this year, Are you joking with me? I don't even hear about all of them. They lack of the popularity and adoptions. ONT is the coin with best performance at this year.
1872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves Sell Or Hodl? on: August 04, 2018, 11:22:54 PM
The most important thing in such situations is not to panic. I think you should not sell. Wait for the growth of the market, and after thinking about selling or not
You're right.  Now the situation in the market is bad, but soon the market will recover and the price will grow again.
When bitcoin was surging a lot from $5800 to the $8500 and it was giving a possibility to the bitcoin to be recovered even more than it. those weak hands are getting panic caused by a bad news or trend.

1873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I lose my coins by choosing wrong wallet? on: August 04, 2018, 09:04:48 AM
Yes there are a lot of phishing wallets out there, make sure of the wallet you want to use. We cant afford to lose hard earned money here.

Yups better to use local wallets that supported ba government,or by the securities and exchange commission

From this we can feel the safeties of our money, but in some point those popular wallets is advisable but the fees and the policies are not the same as what local wallets offered
Can you give an example which is the wallet that has already supported by the government or securities and exchange commission? man, you don't even know about what are you talking about? They are related to the legal support and there was no government or SEC that support crypto wallet. this is a joke
1874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons for dropping values on: August 04, 2018, 08:56:02 AM
Do you think that the decreasing of Crypto currently dues to giants in the market?
They are buying more coins at low cost and will pumb it again?
Yes i think the giants give a lot of impact to the market. But you should know how it works, when you are seeing an ico and then you should check how much the bonus that being offered by the developer.
I think it's can't be considered as the giant's fault. Sometimes the pre-sale participants were affecting it.
1875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICO's is it's last momentum on: August 03, 2018, 01:52:18 PM
Hello...Freinds

I think UBEX and Kakushin ICO is it's in the last momentum. UBEX left 6 days whereas Kakushin ICO left 14 days. Any ICO's in your mind which is its last momentum?
Ubex was better rather than kakushin and i should remind you that there was no transparency about how many has been raised by kakushin ico and that looks so terrible for me.
Able on its last momentum and it was giving a lot of transparency rather than kakushin.
1876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NKN - A good investment. on: August 03, 2018, 01:48:55 PM
At present, NKN is at a good price to invest. It could top back to $ 0.4 in a few months. I believe in Onchain's project. And how do you think?  Grin Grin Grin Grin
It's traded almost the ico price and it has been going down a lot. I guess that should not be happened until there will be a big update to the NKN in the future. NKN is not a good investment today. There is a lot of projects with working product.
1877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Litecoin still a good investment? on: August 03, 2018, 01:35:43 PM
Oh, mates! LTC is performing worse every week and has a loss (!) of almost 80% if we look at ATH in 12/2017. It is definitely not roses time of LTC but question after all now is if LTC has still a future...
If someone compare it to BTC, ETH, BCH or EOS LTC is performing bad at most distance!! I hope we will see a recovery but do you see it too?

My question, mates: Is Litecoin still an option and has a future or will we see no comeback?

As long as there will be more BIP to be tested on the litecoin and then it could give a huge impact to the litecoin. But remember this, that's a hundred percent pegged to the bitcoin you should consider if the bitcoin will solve its scalability problem and it doesn't need more BIP and thenit could be the end of litecoin.
1878  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin at 25000 possible? on: August 02, 2018, 02:26:43 PM
I don't think the price of bitcoin can rise to $25,000 this year because I have two problems that have not been resolved.
1. Where does the source of funding come from?
2. Where does the investor come from?
if etf will get approved by SEC and it gives a lot of possibility to the bitcoin to get a lot of fundings from the US investors.
for the second question and then there is a lot of way that investor can come. remember bitcoin has limit supply and you should remember that anytime.
1879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how do you choose Altcoin .. ?? on: August 02, 2018, 02:20:27 PM
How do you choose Altcoin...??!
And how do you choose a bounty project ... ??!
Please give me your opinion, because your opinion will be very useful for me who is still as a beginner ..
First of all, I go to this site: https://coinmarketcap.com/ There I find the coins from top-100 that attract me and check their charts to understand a possible growth of this or that coin. Then I read much about it, and buy crypto.
It's not easy as you said and do you think the coin called verge is really worth to invest? and it's not. It needs so many effort to do a lot of reasearch for a hundred coin on the coinmarketcap. I will try to choose low cap coin rather than medium or high cap coin.
1880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves Community Token on: August 02, 2018, 02:14:49 PM
Waves community may well be a good investment in themselves.

If the waves platforms really kick up a gear once out of the Alpha stage, and more tokens are developed, those who hold WCT often receive a portion of the created tokens.

I can not understand how this coin attracts you. I've been watching her for a month now and do not see the price move up. On the contrary, this coin continues to become cheaper.
It seems to me that there are coins more interesting
yes many people say that token waves are difficult to develop, although supported by a good community.
only a few tokens are successful in ico sale but after that dead tokens there is no movement.
They are dead and all of icos that used waves platform are scam, you can see that how encryptotel, incent and more shitty coin become a shit coin. That's why people are throwing the waves platform and try to use the best platform called ethereum. Waves will never same as ethereum.
