Because if his poor performance past in the past few season with Manchester United, majority of the club fans have been calling for his departure from the club. During the summer transfer window, he was very close to leave the club but was hindered by the kind of poor financial offers he was getting. Fast forward to less than six months, he's been the club's best defender as well as one of the best defenders in the English Premier League since the start of the season. Managed to pull off a dramatic 3-3 draw against the defending Champions Manchester City away from home and then 4 days later lose to West Ham United at home. In the last 5 games, they have lost 4 and drawn one. Tottenham has lost 14 points from winning positions in a game since November 6. This is a fast sinking ship that needs a quick solution before it's too late.
Before Tottenham Hotspur played against Chelsea they were at the top of the English Premier League after ten games in the league but they've picked up just one point from a possible fifteen points in their last five league games. Ange Postecoglou's men are currently the shadow of the Tottenham Hotspur team that produced the impressive results in the first two months of the campaign that made him win the English Premier League manager of the month in his first two months at the club. His move to Juventus will be fantastic, but I doubt Manchester United will want to loan him out; they'd rather sell him than loan him and I hope Juventus will also agree to buy him rather than having him on loan in the team. Remember, they've been playing well to maintain their current league position; it won't cost them anything to put in more effort in this match to avoid losing all three points to Barcelona; at the very least, they can settle for a draw in this match if they want to.
Girona are going to make it very difficult for Barcelona. I don't get why people feel they don't stand a chance against Barcelona.. I also believe Barcelona are favorite and they have a better chance to win because they've been getting better recently, but concluding that Girona don't stand a chance is just wrong. Why I'm anticipating that match is because I believe it would be a very attacking match. Both teams don't sit back and defend. I don't believe Girona would sit back and just allow Barcelona to be comfortable on the ball. Another match that would be interesting to watch is Betis vs Madrid. Although Betis is not in top form, they can cause trouble for Madrid. Real Madrid would prefer Girona and Barcelona to draw so they can win Betis and extend their lead further. We didn't see a big rotation from Leverkusen in their DFB Pokal game against Paderborn yesterday. The strongest rotation was in the defense line as the goalkeeper and defenders were all different than their previous league game. The rest of the lineup was pretty much the same. They got a decent win and moved on there. Stuttgart played a much more difficult game against Dortmund on paper. However I was still expecting them to eliminate Dortmund and they really did it.  Stuttgart are in a better condition than Dortmund now and I expect them to be very ambitious in the DFB Pokal cup as well. Xabi Alonso values every competition his team are contesting in this season and that's why he didn't make much changes to the regular Bayer Leverkusen first team we've seen all season and was rewarded with a convincing win against Pederborn in the German DFB-Pokal yesterday. Bayer Leverkusen are one of the best German teams at the moment and reaching the final of the German cup this season wouldn't be a bad idea hence the strong squad that played in that game yesterday. Stuttgart who faced a top Bundesliga club like Borussia Dortmund were able to win in their game yesterday and progress to the next round of the competition. Dortmund hasn't been as good as they were at the beginning of the season in the domestic games and must as a matter urgency improve their performance in other to finish the season in the top four of the German Bundesliga standings. |

They must win against Bayern while hoping Copenhagen and Galatasaray draw and that is not an easy matter.
Obviously that is a difficult thing to do considering that Munich is not a weak club, they are the strongest club in the UCL so they will probably have difficulty winning against them. Let's just say that if Manchester United managed to win narrowly with 1 - 0, that doesn't guarantee qualification either because Galatasaray and Copenhagen will not be able to play a draw because one of them wants to qualify from the group to the next round. I just think that it is possible that Galatasaray will qualify for the group accompanying Munich because of course Manchester United will not succeed. But even if they qualify or not, Manchester United still have to play as hard as possible and not suffer another defeat in this last match which will also determine whether they qualify or not. It can be done if Manchester United win against Bayern and Copenhagen draw against Galatasaray indirectly they will definitely qualify because they are 1 point ahead of Copenhagen and Galatasaray but if they win but one of Copenhagen and Galatasaray wins then they will only be in the Europa League but another possibility if Manchester United lose or draw then they will only be at the bottom of the standings without being able to say much for the Champions League this season. Bayern Munich has been very impressive since the start of the season and are one of the few clubs that are yet to lose a game in the competition so for Manchester United to beat them in that game at Old Trafford next week, they'll have to play to their full strength while hoping for Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel not to field his strongest squad since they've already won the group. Copenhagen home game against Galatasaray is also unlikely to produce a draw because the two teams knows what's at stake going into the game. No team can maintain a top performance for a long time frame. Manchester City is no exception from this rule.
Erling Haaland had the opportunity to score a goal and equalize, but he missed it. Aston Vila plays really good and Unai Emery is a very experienced manager. Manchester United managed to win against Chelsea, but I'm not impressed by their performance. Both teams are struggling to find their style and to achieve consistency. Aston Villa manager has been doing a lot of great work with his team since the start of the season and many would never had predicted to see them in third position of the English Premier League table after 15 league games at the start of the season. Yesterday, he defeated his Manchester City counterpart and compatriot Pep Guardiola for the first time in his managerial career and that'll surely be a good motivation for the Spaniard to do more for his Aston Villa side. |

As you have said, Liverpool is one of the best teams in the world with a series of EPL and Champions League titles that they have won.
