Solidcoin my ass!!
Don't do that with yourself man...  Just my ฿0.02... LOL Grin

You are so anti-alt-chain man. You forget that we are gaining mch valuable  info for bitcoin itself by testing these smaller chains.

I agree with you on this.

Alt-chains is a good thing, no doubt.

I just do not agree with the way you guys are doing this... It is so infantile... Using of defamation and lies to promote yourself by saying that the Bitcoin collapse is emminent, and that solidcoin is safe against 51% mining power, etc and etc... Tsc.. tsc...

This is not the way a real man should act.

This is the way that kids do playing around.

Look! My dick is bigger than yours!!  Oh crap...

Sorry, but you guys from Solid Coin, shooted in your own feet.

Okay I'm going to be easy on you and say that it seems you don't know the facts.

I do not support the original solidcoin and its founder and his BS article you speak of. And many of us here also would agree to that.

Period.

I don't see the point of continuing SC when GG is up and running. Faster blocks, faster difficulty adjustments, faster implementation of bug fixes, etc.

Dilution of the cryptocurrencies.

Limited supply and stable price...

Just like

Oil and water...

That DON'T mix.
1924  Economy / Speculation / I would say in the shorterm... on: September 17, 2011, 01:19:00 AM
It stalling at $4.80 says it will go up for a bit at least to 5.50 to 5.75 before falling if indeed it is dstined  to fall further.

1926  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we see BTC at 1$ in the next few weeks? on: September 17, 2011, 01:10:58 AM
It will really be over when the exchanges shut down due to lack of sufficient commission revenue.

I don't think that is going to happen soon (at least not as soon as the big drop from $4). Volume in currency has been constant and the fees are a percentage so it doesn't really matter what the price of a bitcoin is:

+1 Sounds good. Are we starting over or keeping the block chain in tact?

I suggest we start over given that he has coins on the current/original block chain that I'm sure we would all like to have invalidated.

I can invalidate the inserted 1000 blocks between 29000 and 30000. I've analyzed the block chain and it doesn't appear that he has too many others as best i can tell. This way all the people get to keep their coins.

Throw ideas out, this is the "Think Tank"

WEll if they choose to use your chain and CH's then they get twice the coins which is absurd.

We may as well restart it and call it BCXcoin and be done with it.

Start over.

Given the name "Instacoin", I predict a brave attempt to make 2 second blocks Smiley

Or zero seconds. You imagine it and voila its real.

Goxxed

Is that all you ever say?
1932  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: September 16, 2011, 09:00:45 PM
Try #bitcoin-otc, usually they do trade everything there.

@Cosbycoin,

But those won't have the charm of being forged in a plain scammed blockchain.

Not if you use the time-travel exploit. Cheesy

I have some SC I want to exchange for BTC, any place to do that right now?

Sorry, seams like ScamCoin is out of commission. I've some SC too... I'll sell them for 1,000 BTC ea. (Hey! Now they're collectibles!  Grin )

Not really just take the old client and mine them a uber low difficulty. Voila!
1934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mooncoin - Solidcoin/Namecoin to BTC Exchange on: September 16, 2011, 08:02:29 PM
I'm sorry but there is too many convenient incidents where people are just playing dumb. How can you have non-complex passwords to all of your main accounts?

This is BS.
1935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Attack on Namecoin Called Off. Ok, but what if instead... on: September 16, 2011, 07:58:27 PM
yeah, we'd all be upset about how it would crash to $90

Wow aren't we the optimistic bull. crash to $90? And what constitutes a run to $100?

Who is going to inject several hundred million into bitcoins?

Moon's alleged response

http://pastie.org/2544332

Edit:  The guy had the sense to use bcrypt, but managed to get his domain, reddit, and gmail all hacked at the same time.

His own passwords weren't safe, but he assures you yours are.

If you had the bright idea of using the same password here as you did elsewhere,

CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS

Read: I stole your bitcoins, solidcoins, etc. and am Lying to your face.
1937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mooncoin - Solidcoin/Namecoin to BTC Exchange on: September 16, 2011, 06:53:30 PM
For all those with SC involved, please go to this thread and give the deposit addresses and your balance when it went down. If it is indeed a "Scam" or moon never returns I can help fix some of the fraud that went on in SolidCoin 2.0 and hopefully return some or all of it to those users. We have some of his main deposit addresses and can "block" them from going back to him, instead giving them to the users of the service.

http://solidcointalk.org/topic/217-mooncoin-deposit-address-thread/

LOL This is the biggest line of shit I've seen from him yet. Here he gets to act like he is going to help, act like a Saviour and defers the action. Geez Do you really think people can't see through this.

But please be reminded, I told you all over a week ago that Mooncoin was a SCAM and was blasted.

Wait, what? He's asking people to post their mooncoin deposit address so that he can revert those coins back with SolidCoin 2.0? How stupid can this get? I already sold my SC for BTC on mooncoin. I'll post that deposit address, so I can get those SC back! Or better yet, I will post all the addresses I ever sent SC to. How the heck is he supposed to know if the addresses are indeed mooncoin's.

CoinHunter/RealSolid keeps impressing me with his arrogance and stupidness.

I've been mining with 6 ghash and just now I saw that I found 5 blocks in a row. Immediately, I realized something is not right. I can't be that lucky. After a few minutes, I saw that these 5 blocks all got orphaned. I assumed that due to network issues, I was disconnected enough to build up my own block chain, which got wiped out when I reconnected.

Unfortunately, I think these problems will get worse as the network grows.
Interesting. I wonder how things will play out as we start hitting 100, 200, 300 GH.
Won't matter if we have 100 TH. After a few quick blocks, difficulty will adjust, and we'll be right back to 15 second blocks.

As I suspected there is a threshold in which where you add more GH you don't produce any more blocks than with less GH. I'm curious what that number is.

Tax isn't such a bad idea as it would encourage a portion to be put aside for spending towards the public good. It may even encourage its use as a currency rather than a fiat burp. You just need to keep it low enough that you don't lose people to the other currencies. I welcome alternate currencies that experiment with "taxation" because it may actually be fairer and easier to manage (and far more advanced) than the incumbent tax systems of the existing world order.

The only people getting 'taxxed' are the miners.  Not the vendors, not the merchants, not the middleman, no one else down the line is getting 'taxxed'.

Just the miners.

Infact, if you're already pregening ONE MILLION COINS, goahead and take your taxes out of there.  Damn this isn't rocket science.

LOL I wont even in stall SC X.X on my hdd anymore.  Even if I could make a few extra BTC.... the whole thing is just slimey.
