1921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Now that we are in 2020 on: January 07, 2020, 01:48:05 PM
We are in 2020 and we hope to see a good start of the market this year, this year we are hopeful that a bull run could come again due to many big events, one popular one for bitcoin is its halving and for altcoins, Libra launch?? i know some would disagree as they are against in Libra project.

But here's the question, if the market goes bullish and altcoins are pumping, do you think when there is an ICO, people are still going to invest?

personally I believe they will not because there an IEO already but I like to hear yours.

ICO is very unregulated, no guaranty that the team behind the  ICO are legit people, let's not give them a chance to be part of the changes and the bull run it's time to move on, we already have these top coins and they are already profitable and enough for us, crowdfunding using ICO is not a thing of the past, let's leave it like that.
1922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now the right time to buy altcoin? on: January 07, 2020, 03:55:28 AM
Holla friends, I want ask opinion and advice regarding the situations of altcoins and BTC today
You know , today market are show bad price for all coin and token.
Is th eright time for make some profit with buying altcoins ?

If you take all the advice here and proceed to buy altcoins, not those new altcoins in the market but those that are performing well even in the bear market, then you are in good profit now the first month of 2020 and will eventually make more profit if you keep holding it even after the halving.
1923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Danger that awaits few coins on: January 07, 2020, 02:18:58 AM
I'm here to clear few facts about some crypto coins, i will start with exchange tokens, people are getting things mixed up when it comes to real use case, many thinks once a coin has a real use case it's a must buy well this is for you, let me start with binance, i love the exchange simply because of the seriousness of the team and CEO himself i believe that's why they made it this far but im not 100% sure about bnb token because it's use case ends on the binance exchange, outside the platform it's nada,  i belief any good real use case should be for the public but bnb token is limited in this area, everything about bnb ends on it's exchange.

I will tackle on this point have to edit your thread, you have a good point but Binance coin is getting good value in the market, because of the trust, and it's usage on the number one exchange in the market, but things are going to be different if Binance is not the number one exchange in the market, as long as Binance is the number one exchange their coin has no danger of losing its value.
1924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting strategy. on: January 07, 2020, 01:14:36 AM
Really interesting to see your betting results here because you has made around 21 bets yesterday, I think you will get more than that what you expecting 2%  if all your bets get positive results there and I will wish you all the best.

It's much easier to win and to realize that 2% bankroll that betting in dice and poker games because you can analyze each team, their strength, and their weakness and compare to gambling where you cast caution to the win and that you win in every bet, wish you all the best this is an interesting thread and many will follow your lead if you are successful on this.
1925  Economy / Economics / Re: How the situation in Iran might impact Bitcoin on: January 06, 2020, 10:54:22 AM

My thoughts? Nothing.

That's also my thought, these are not two superpowers colliding, although there is an impact on the price of oil it was broadcast here in our place, this conflict, and news will die down in a few weeks but expect retaliation coming from Iran but not like what US did to them.
1926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I just Got 2000 Coins For Free with Staking on: January 06, 2020, 01:44:06 AM
This is an incomplete post, how will you find answers when you never shared the name of the project itself? And if you want quick answer it's better to go through the project website for social channels to throw such question to the team

I agree this is not the right place to ask that, he did not even mention the name of the coin so even if anyone reading this thread is interested he has no way of knowing the information about what OP is posting, he did not even bother to come back to update us, such an irresponsible act.
1927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your altcoins and tokens TODAY, save yourself the frustration on: January 06, 2020, 01:01:05 AM

Sell your altcoins and tokens. Take the proceeds in BTC, stick it into a cold wallet, keep some online to play around with Lightning and other things that actually matter for real-life stuff, like being able to buy something. When was the last time you were able to use for example Ethereum for something tangible, not to buy some garbage tokens or to play a game?

Do it today. Your grandkids will thank you.

I don't think 99% of altcoins are garbage, so have you analyze Ethereum, Binance Tron and the top coins in the market, these coins have future, they are not pumped and dump now you see how you don't coin, there is real development on these coins I've mentioned, it's unfair to think that only Bitcoin will survive when so many coins are in the fighting chance.
1928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: $$ FREE FIXED MATCH BASKETBALL $$ on: January 06, 2020, 12:20:44 AM
This thread gave me good laugh. Just few consecutive wins and some people already started to believe that OP have inside info about fixed games. C'mon, it's even enough to prove that you're good tipster. But I think now it's obvious for everyone that OP don't have any fixed games.
It's OK if you continue to share these tips, but you should remove word "Fixed" from topic title.

That's true it cast doubts on the league, people who are fans of the league might think that all those games are rigged and might think of reporting this to authorities, I don't know how he comes out with that kind of title or thread but I don't think he really has an inside info about the league.

1930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Community calls out Charlie Lee on: January 05, 2020, 01:49:20 PM
After Litecoin founder Charlie Lee pledged to make a push towards improved privacy in 2019, it appears that development towards this goal is now well underway as development funding picks up steam.

The new development plans to implement the MimbleWimble protocol on Litecoin, allowing users to selectively opt-in to privacy-preserving confidential transactions.

Full News Here

I do think that once stated and called out a person should do what he was meant at first place.

Charlie Lee stated that he would pay 1:1 but he's shouting out to the Community that he won't pay all of it.

It makes sense they are angry at him and asking him to pay all at once else it might die.

Are you by the Communities side or you think Charlie Lee did the right call?

I am very supportive of Litecoin's cause and do not want to take side, reading the article the fundraising is on going and it will be funded within three months I hope it pushes through, I believe Litecoin will reach $1000 in the future it's still a strong coin, and the community should not let  Litecoin die without giving a fight
1931  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin will move up if there is a war with Iran on: January 05, 2020, 11:33:47 AM
Seeing the world economic conditions, will bitcoin move to all time high if there is a War with Iran ?
Oil and gold prices are already up within last few days. Will Bitcoin will be next?

I don't think we are going to have a world war 3 here Iran is not a superpower or they have allies that are willing to wage a global war with them, they will likely retaliate, in a guerilla type of attack but not on a face to face warfare they are no match on that, and I think it will have  a major impact on Bitcoin, Bitcoin will go on moving up only a disruption in its ecosystem, and hacking can have an impact on it.
1932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Death of ICOs on: January 05, 2020, 10:36:04 AM
ICO terminations in 2019 were unimaginably inadequate contrasted with 2018 August and October both had none, while January 2018 had 160 projects. All things considered, 2019 projects raised additionally funding on average $6.8 million contrasted with 2018 $132,000, still ICOs are losing popularity because of

1. Concerns with funded projects
2. Regulatory hurdles with selling the tokens
3. Crypto bear market

Bear market contributed to the demise of ICO, no investors are investing in ICO anymore, because they prefer coins that are already in the market like those that are in the top 10, and if they want a new coin they will just wait for it to get into the market, which unfortunately will not happen because there is no fund to list in the exchange.
1933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jessie Vargas vs Mikey Garcia on: January 05, 2020, 08:55:59 AM
If this fight happens in 2019 this has a good potential to become a fight of the year, both fighters are proven Mexican all-out fighter, I'm betting on Garcia he is a very technical fighter with good timing on his punch, I see him winning by a split decision here, but I have doubt that he will be good in the welterweight division, that division is loaded with talented boxers, like Spence and Pacquiao.
1934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: AJ's next fight on: January 05, 2020, 07:17:45 AM
I believe you're right about most rated boxers which ought to be Anthony's next opponent been tied up with another fight and i think there's anything anyone can do about that but the available opponent to fight Anthony will only be someone who's his previous or upcoming opponent have beaten.

Anthony Joshua has stated multiple times in the past that he would rather not fight unless he is fighting another A class fighter.

Unlike Tyson Fury (for example) who has no issues with fighting the likes of Tom Schwartz and other low ranked fighters for a tickover, it seems AJ will only fight those in the top 20 or so.

This obviously causes matchmaking issues, but will eventually give fight fans the fights they want.

The boxing fans deserve great fights and great fighters fight great fighters, but the problem is always been money and privileges, the Wilder against Joshua will eventually happen even if any of the fighters suffer losses from low ranked fighters, just like what happened to Joshua, they cannot ignore the calling if they want to stay in the ring they have to fight each other.
1935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Good ICO Review Sites on: January 05, 2020, 06:51:57 AM
Hello guys !
I was just looking around and theres so many garbage repost websites outthere about different ICOs.  I wanted to know if theres one that you know doesn't present every idea as great. A very critical good Review site that tends to get it right you know. anyway thanks appreciate your input.

There is really not one and I don't recommend that you look in this review sites for finding a legit project, they are not an independent reviewer and they are proven to received money even from dubious projects, they give it a good review and they give bad reviews to a project with good potential, ask investors not ICO rating sites, or even believe in them.
1936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How do you treat the current airdrop bounty? on: January 05, 2020, 04:38:58 AM
There are more airdrop bounties now, and many of them are rubbish.

And there is a lot of deceptive content, are the forum partners involved?

Would you like to set up a TELEGRAM group to discuss and exchange?

You can help each other, knowing that it is a liar airdrop, and that is an effective high-quality airdrop.

Interested to join the group: @bountypr_airdrop

Or chat here and help each other.

I don't trust telegram that deals with airdrops, it's not really about talks about good and legit airdrops, you will be feed with countless of airdrops, some people are setting up telegram channel for airdrops so they can refer people, because as we all know airdrops are referral based.
1937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are are your bet for this year's boxing fight of the year on: January 05, 2020, 04:10:23 AM
The fight of the year and also the upset of the year for me is the first Joshua-Ruiz match everyone was caught by surprise when Ruiz shock the world by stopping Joshua on his first US debut, the second fight is very disappointing though, still, the first fight gave the fight and the boxing history something exciting that happened in the year 2019
1938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: January 05, 2020, 02:51:58 AM
Why do people still fall victims to obvious scams? Especially on twitter people are still sending bitcoin to traders, no one is a perfect trader, do not send bitcoin or other coins to people to trade for you, its stupid and foolish idea

Today a bitcoin trader on twitter exit scam and delete all traces off social media, i heard its about 53bitcoin, here is the link to the news

https://coinnewstelegraph.com/bitmex-bitcoin-fund-manager-exit-scams-before-christmas/

Pls stop, there is no such thing as easy money, its either you learn or you quit or else you will keep losing money

And I read one guy from Reddit getting victimized from an Elon Musk giveaway of $3000, that's a huge amount here in this part of the world, this is both ignorance and greed, if you have these two in Cryptocurrency, you will end up a pauper, the guy did not even verify if the offer, which is too good to be true.
1939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Gambling on Mobile Devices on: January 05, 2020, 01:49:42 AM
I haven't tried gambling using my mobile and I don't think I will try it, there are too many distractions the screen is to small and I am more comfortable using my laptop I can't think clearly than if I will do it in my mobile devices, and besides I am not gambling when I away from home, it's a habit that I don't want to develop.
1940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How we can introduce bitcoin to local people on: January 04, 2020, 11:48:19 PM
One day, I think to myself about how to spreads bitcoin to other people. After I create threads https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5191717.0, I see many of us don't try or don't have time to come into a gathering or make a meetup. So how we can introduce bitcoin to local people in our country if we are not trying to tells them about bitcoin? I know that will related to the regulations in every countries but we can introduce to our close friend so they will spread it into their closest friends too.

And if this is succeed, I think cryptocurrency will grow step by step. I know we can spread bitcoin online, but that doesn't mean all people in your country are aware of bitcoin. How they can know bitcoin if they never use the internet to search the news while we can tell them about bitcoin and another coin by offline.

You can go to any Starbucks outlet and buy your friend a coffee and pay using Bitcoin and tell him that he pay using a Bitcoin and it's easy and fast, or you can bring him on a marketplace that accepts Bitcoin and show him how your purchase these using Bitcoin, and if he enlightens you can both watch Youtube that is all about Bitcoin, that would be fun.
