1961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin losing value is nothing surprising on: June 14, 2018, 12:14:00 PM
i feel sorry for all those who bagholded altcoins thinking they can become rich and now that their dreams are being shattered they are starting to point the finger at bitcoin just to have someone or something to blame for the mistakes they have made...

good altcoins will become the future, as we will through bitcoins short existance and the now existing cryptoindustry get a better capital market, and people working int he economy get a more stable demand on their goods and services,
I agree with you. Altcoin is the future of electronic money. ETH is created after Bitcoin. ETHs have many advantages over Bitcoin. Other coins like the ripple, DASH and ADA are better than Bitcoin

wrong

none of those have solved any of bitcoins limitations at all they have simply given up the trustless and decentralised ideology to certain degrees

none are a big advantage over btc and are actually a step backward

eth is the only other project that has some merit
1962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Whales Pulling the Cryptocurrency Strings on: June 13, 2018, 10:23:56 PM
The article says, "In a 24-hour period between Monday and Tuesday, the 100 biggest bitcoin transactions out of 200,000 accounted for 24 percent of the money volumes – an unimaginable level of concentration compared to other markets."

However, it failed to describe how whales are controlling the market. Definitely huge amounts of sell volume can take the market in red zone. But the article failed to prove its point.

Please make me understand one thing, lets assume, I have 10k bitcoins in my cold storage. Why would I want to manipulate the market in such a way where the price will decrease? It will be a direct attack on my own wealth. As a whale I would always want the market to go up because my my wealth will appreciate with it. A lot of people here talk about whales are controlling the market and decreasing the price but no one talks on WHT? Can you help me understand these.

I have asked this same question in many other similar threads but never received a proper reply.

The whales want MORE btc....... how to get it dump a ton in collaboration with other whales and cause negative sentiment and even panic so others start dumping causing more panic and more dumping then because you dumped out first you got better prices for your btc and after the panic you can start buying all those bitcoins back far more cheaply

But wait its even better for whales now because they have an almost fool proof method of manipulation

these are the BEST times to make great great gains

20 zillion zillion zillion zillion zillion

with people able to produce a billion tokens and sell a few to insiders back and forth for 50 bucks each  then there is no real limit you can imagine for the market cap

market cap is a joke

1968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the predictions on the coin PPT? on: June 12, 2018, 11:01:30 PM
certain and utter obliteration
Why are you so pessimistic? What makes you think that? I hope that now bitcoin will begin to grow and take with him all the violas, including the PPT. But I am interested in the opinion of others.

What you read there was an optimistic outcome for ppt

there is no need for 99% of these new tokens/coins they are diluting themselves to zero

better to find some REAL alt projects if you are looking for alternatives to btc there are only a handful on this entire board so i can forgive you for not locating them
1969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / THIS IS THE TIME when you get rich. Find the good projects now that are cheap.. on: June 12, 2018, 10:48:15 PM
These crashes are the very moments that you can make life changing amounts of returns.

Forget new shitty icos find the REAL projects with proven devs and wide initial distribution.
You think the smart minds waited until now to release a crypto based project or perhaps they are years behind the curve ?

There are no more than 10-15 projects on the entire board that are worth looking at.

Don't go all in right now... save powder for further drops but dont wait too long or you will miss the reversal.

1971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Bullion (CBX) >>> rebranding to "bullion" | 2018 Roadmap published on: June 12, 2018, 01:18:20 PM
Vault 3.0.0, Released!

Excellent news, Bullionaires! Just in time to meet our proposed deadline, here is Vault 3...

Let's recap what the new Vault 3.0.0 is, and what it isn't... Vault 3.0.0 is a necessary step towards our final project, which is the BPN masternode-driven Bullion network. Vault 3.0.0 is completely new code to drive the same CBX network with unchanged parameters - this means that it is not a mandatory update, no hard forks yet.

While it is not a mandatory update, Vault 3 solves many nagging issues 2.4.4 had; so I strongly recommend you update to this new Vault to drastically improve your experience of CBX. Also, Vault 3.0.0 incorporates the new "Bullion" denomination, along with new visuals.

Without further undue delay, here is the essential data everybody is looking for:

Windows Setup with installer: http://data.bullion.one/v30/bullion-3.0.0-win64-setup.exe
Portable Windows executable: http://data.bullion.one/v30/bullion-qt.exe

MacOS: http://data.bullion.one/v30/Bullion-Qt3.app.zip

Raw Linux executable: http://data.bullion.one/v30/bullion-qt64.zip
Deb package for Ubuntu/Debian http://data.bullion.one/v30/bullion-qt_3.0.0.deb

excellent news Smiley im sure more people will be very pleased when they find out.

now going to give it a go

thanks for the hard work guys ....
1972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitBay OFFICIAL BITBAY Thread Smart Contracts Decentralized Markets Rolling Peg on: June 12, 2018, 01:01:14 PM
My friend said that capitalization of BitBay could be compared to capitalization of some bakeshop. Maybe it sounds good for new investors, but why is it happening? Even vision and hope could worth more, not to say about brilliant ready product!

Its very simple bay is a brilliant product that never gets in on the hype.

Other products are vapor but yet manage to whip the fools into believe their hype

This is the one area we need to vastly improve on for the sake of bitbay and we can save some investors losing their btc on the other trash out there

We need to list Bay on other exchanges as well, to improve liquidity and trading volumes. I have not followed any discussion on this recently, but has there been a move to list it on Binance? That can be one step which can introduce it to a lot of new investors.

to me bittrex and upbit is good enough....... binance is fake volume and no way as large as they make out

the listing fee there is quite insane too some have said 250k USD

I have seen coins hit huge caps on small shit exchanges

coinbase though would be nice Smiley

You want investment hype - tps is the current hype.... we've had many hypes before: anon, masternodes, smart contracts etc etc
You have to have the right hype at the right time

Is ada or eos better than bitbay? is dpos really better than pos3  - who knows ... but what matters is what people believe at the time
50m project or 5BN project. Of course icos with real narrow distribution can have huge fake caps but those are all i hear ppl talking about since they are hyping new mechanisms that can push high tps.... never mind the centralisation to a certain degree

eth's version of pos looks interesting too

to me there is not any point flipping the peg on at 50M cap it should be 500M cap minimum.

If we had a solid design for a new hype train consensus mechanism we as a community could easily organise a huge hype train for bitbay on here. Anyway aside from the tps comparisons on the main board bitbay still has more useful features than 99% of other projects and is still quite unknown on this board to most of the noobs

I don't believe that it's been almost a year and there is not real exchange come on guys, you raised a lot of btc this shouldn't be a problem to get a listing on a decent exchange.

We've taken all steps we could from our end to ensure we are taken into consideration by other exchanges. The process is complicated and we're making all efforts to ensure it's successful.  Smiley

I can only thank you for your interest and patience. To the best of out abilities we have tried to respect the initial plans we mentioned for FootballCoin.

have you considered yobit and cryptopia?
1974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: now bear market again. wait for november on: June 11, 2018, 08:34:33 PM
they are shaking the tree to get the weak hands out

every bit of news about btc is good news lately

they will hold it down until you all give up then moon shot the big one will come with institutional investment then the hoards will flock back again too

btc plus LN will end 99% of alts reason to exist sadly that includes most in the top 20 too.... there are a few specialised alts that solve none of btc issues if it were to be used without LN but they have specialised in certain use cases so even if these were to be worked on by teams that would use btc it will take a while

there are probably 15 alts total that can have a hope of making a huge profit in the med term
1975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is the name of the airdrop token that is not a scam, please let me know on: June 11, 2018, 08:30:23 PM
Airdrops do not require our investment. So even if we don't get the last coin, we don't have to be frustrated. After all, we have no financial loss. We just wasted a little time.

This is true but time is money..... spend time earning money then invest in things that multiply your earnings

So if you waste hours searching for airdrops, hours signing up for them and claiming ........better to spend that time earning and investing in good projects

airdrops are of course 99% scam there is no way to verify who is getting the coins you can be sure they are rigged

POW is the only real way to start a decentralised trustless project

1978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitBay OFFICIAL BITBAY Thread Smart Contracts Decentralized Markets Rolling Peg on: June 11, 2018, 03:17:37 PM

all talk, zero results yet.  we'll see post results.

Have you downloaded the software lately? Zero results?

This is our "wall of features"
https://bitbay.market/wall-of-features

The software has unbreakable contracts for years since Halo (double deposit) and was even used to sell real estate in california without escrow

The decentralized markets run on Bitmessage that are totally anonymous and don't bloat the chain have existed and worked fine since 2015

The software has IMAP and Bitmessage under the hood so I basically coded a Thunderbird

ALL templates are done this means that Halo is done, Barter and Python contracts were the recent addition.

There are 100s of little security features and it fuckin works!

Aside from that, we have a bunch of new team members who did a really good web wallet, android wallet, electrum nodes, totally new website
Rebranded, produced a nice commercial recently, have full time mailers and blogs and some of our group goes to conferences

So I don't know what the hell you are talking about.

I remember your name from the "Bob" days. If you and his group are salty that's not my problem however here unlike other projects I actually honor my word.

I've delivered what was asked and only thing left is the peg. The thread you commented on (about blockchain scaling) is theoretical. We aren't competing in the "TPS" hype right now. That is simply because we haven't had the volume of transactions.

If you are here to troll, you are trolling yourself because seriously all the investors here already like the project and I'm pretty sure if you have nothing constructive to add, nobody will care.

I think he must have just meant about the TPS because nobody could seriously look at what bitbay has already and say zero results. Bay has more than 99.5% of other projects out there.

I can't even justify bay being so overlooked other than the fact there is a problem to even locate it amongst the 4000 shit projects clogging up this board.

but never mind i only see good news coming out daily so it's just the big boys shaking the tree to get the weak hands out before the next big bull run

There is the Telegram please join if you haven't already. Thank You!

Looks like today is the day then like that.

Be nice to have a good solid wallet to stake on and once masternodes are here we should be top of the masternode pile really along with some of the more advanced masternode solutions.
