1981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra coin alive or dead? on: December 28, 2019, 03:38:53 PM
There was a rapid growth in bitcoin price in last 2-3 months when it was announced Facebook is going to launch its own coin, called libra coin,
Now its already in cold store, due to US and EU agencies interference.

I saw in coin market cap, its only general information about libra coin, but no technical data is available yet.

There is no official announcement that it is now dead or will not launch, it is still in a planning stage, although there is an uncertainty that it will not launch, still, the project is still in the making and we will have to wait for further announcement, that they are going to launch or they will not.
1982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is It true youTube has started restoring of crypto related videos? on: December 28, 2019, 11:25:05 AM
Recently seen,
YouTube has started deleting videos of many users who speak on crypto either testimonial or introduction videos.
Many complaints about YouTube is deleting videos without giving any notice. giving shadow ban on videos.
For every action, google send notice, but this time without notice , google taking action on crypto based YouTube videos.

According to this article, every deleted video has been restored
https://www.theblockcrypto.com/linked/51591/youtube-has-restored-deleted-videos-from-crypto-channels they earlier admitted that it was a mistake, so we can rest this case, and stop flooding the forum with this kind of topic.
1983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel more lucky than usual when it's New Year's. on: December 28, 2019, 09:14:58 AM
I lived in this misconception, once before the New Year I had a good profit, and it happened again 2 years in a row.
I thought I was more lucky when the New Year.
Of course this is not true, the casino never changes under the influence of the social factor.
The casino is the same as always no change.
Or maybe there is?

Probably a coincidence, there is a saying in gambling just your lucky day and what happens could just be your lucky day, sometimes we experience a long string of luck and this is very tempting to bet more, that your usual bet but you need to understand all the risk you are facing when you pouring everything on gambling.
1984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YouTube vs Crypto on: December 27, 2019, 02:39:25 PM
YouTube finally recognised that the recent Crypto Purge was a "mistake" but the damage is done, what do you have to say about this? I think the damage will get fixed in time because really YouTube has been a very useful platform for crypto
They should fix it, they both need each other, these channels provide traffic and viewerships from the ads these channels are displayed, and influencers still need Youtube as their platform, maybe in the future, we will have our own video sharing site.
1985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Can I pay in Bitcoin here?" - go and ask this each time you pay something! on: December 25, 2019, 03:44:35 PM
I often do that, to websites that I subscribed and bought many times and sometimes they respond positive, but not yet come out with the decision if they can have it, I guess if many people are going to ask that, they might think of adding that.
1986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest crypto fraud of all time on: December 24, 2019, 11:59:33 PM
I always think that bitconnect scam was the biggest in crypto space until i heard about one coin, a Ponzi scheme that defraud investors approximately $4 billion around the globe and one coin ceo have been missing since 2017, we really need to be very careful where w invest our hard earned cash, when a offer is too good to be true there is always more that met the eye

I remember people calling one coin the bitcoin killer, lol 😆 oh i hate centralized coins, the fact is there was no coin mined, no blockchain, nothing, I have never seen anything like it, any coin that claims to kill bitcoin is red flag lol,
Now we have a cue, when a dev of any project calls his project the next Bitcoin or Bitcoin killer, we can conclude that it's another huge scam site coming, great projects are not into the hype, they have a solid foundation on their project and their platform has real usage for the community, it's easy to support, projects like this.
1987  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to report a scam on telegram ? recommended way on: December 24, 2019, 03:16:15 PM
Glad they did this, Telegram has now become a spam fest and new ICO are now targeting this messaging tool, but it's so easy to create a telegram account or channel all you need is a new phone number and you have a new account as replacement for the tagged one, this will  lessen scammers, but there will be persistent one.

1989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My New Year Resolution For Bitcointalk on: December 24, 2019, 02:16:48 AM
It's your money and it's your assignment to protect your investment and not ask for admin and moderators to help you on your assignment, they have a lot of jobs to do from preventing spammers, you have all the tools, and don't be too lazy to read and study, or you can pay other to do it for you for 50% share since they do all the research, but this is not a guaranty too.
1990  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I enjoy posting on bitcointalk on: December 23, 2019, 03:12:32 AM
It's not only enjoyable but also rewarding I get to participate in campaign that pays me for just giving my opinion, and I have the opportunity to be part of the projects that are now on top of the markets, it's a great journey for me as a Cryptocurrency supporters and investor
1991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Daniel Jacobs vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on: December 23, 2019, 02:03:00 AM
Jacobs has the most higher pecentage of knocking out the opponent however the experience inside the ring is in the side of Chavez. In addition their age are just close thus, they still have the capacity of fighting stamina with their age but if we were to look upon the background they got both the reputation of boxing champion as they both have touched the belt. It would be quite tough to choose, but I'll go with Jacobs as he got more knocking out power over Chavez.

Huh. Are you really a boxing fan? I'll go with your bet, Lol. The fight is over dude, Jacobs won already.

I'm calling @bisdak40 to lock this topic before it became a spam fest.

Before this thread gets lock I just want to post that both fighters has no chance to beat the current middleweight champion and I believe the undisputed one Canelo Alvarez, and also believe Chavez career is over it's hard to attract fights to a fighter who is now known as a quitter, and besides he avoid drug testing.
1992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HEX Stoops to Another Low, Desperately Tries to Pump Price on: December 23, 2019, 01:57:45 AM
The cryptocurrency scam HEX is trying to lure people by claiming that users can double their money using the lowest possible values on the HEX/BTC pair. The shameless promotion has just reached a new low.

Earlier this month, BeInCrypto reported on a Bitcoin-linked investment scheme called HEX. The project promises high ROI and claims to be the first ‘high-interest blockchain certificate of deposit.’ Serial entrepreneur Richard Heart is behind the project and many have likened it to a Ponzi scheme.

Source link here

Well, well, well, it looks like Richard Heart is on a desperation mode!

During my meetup in Cebu City, one guy whom I having a beer with two foreigners promoting HEX with his referral link. However, one of them says that it's a scam, but the guy insist that HEX isn't. I cannot absorb most of what he said about the positives of HEX, but he just believed that it will "moon" in the next few years.

Some analysts claimed that HEX is operating a Ponzi scheme. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even me of course. As of now, I haven't committed to him about getting into HEX because of the scam accusations against them.

What would be your reactions to this one guys? Thanks!

I remember one guy trying to launch a signature campaign to generate referrals and it's paying a high bounty, glad that the community caught him cheating because it's a fake promotion, people will try to do anything just to promote this Ponzi scheme, when it looks and sounds a Ponzi scheme it's indeed a Ponzi scheme.
1993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering Contests on: December 23, 2019, 01:31:28 AM
Wagering Contests are the most popular promotions in the crypto gambling world.
What trigger you to join the competition, and what strategy you use?

I seldom participate in a wagering contest it's for high rollers only, one gambling site that's doing this kind of promotion for a very long time now is Onehash, and it's a good promotion because it great helped gambling site to reach it's profit and to keep the gambler on their platform.
1994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to introduce crypto currency to newbies on: December 22, 2019, 05:06:23 PM

1995  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STOP BUYING BITCOIN NOW!!! This coin is crap on: December 22, 2019, 11:32:51 AM
I see topics like this after every bitcoin drop. History repeats itself

Yeah right I have seen so many of these, in fact we have it all recorded how Bitcoin Bitcoin dies in the eyes of unbelievers
https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-obituaries/ so far the number of times is 379 including this thread I get used to this kind of thread, and I have nothing to worry about it, because we cannot please everybody.
1996  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be Careful to Write on: December 22, 2019, 11:21:29 AM
Using bookmarks is better, but still not 100% foolproof. There was a post I read a while ago about a mixing service which had shutdown, and a scammer then purchased the expired URL. Anyone who followed their previous bookmark would now land on a scam site and lose their coins.
Bookmarking is convenient but it is not totally safe because it can be tampered, not only as a result of expired-URLs change hands.
I use bookmark on browsers for unimportant sites, but for important ones, I bookmark them in my head, instead. No one can tamper my memory if there is nothing wrong with my health conditions, seriously.

If you don't want bookmarking, then you can draft it in your email sites and exchanges that you always visit, so you don't have to type all you have to do is to click the link and it will open in a new browser, I don't think it can be tampered unless they sold the domain to hackers.
1997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which are your recommendations for best coins to invest in 2020? on: December 22, 2019, 01:27:02 AM
I prefer not to invest in a new coin they have to prove themselves first before I invest in these coins, I prefer investing on more stable coins that have already proved their worth in the market over the years, like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin among others, new coins are for whales who can take greater risk for their investment.
1998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: P2PB2B Opens the doors of Pieta Token Trading: Enjoy on: December 22, 2019, 12:53:54 AM
Don't just rely on P2PB2B for the credibility of your coin, there are good exchange out there, be sure to get in a more reputable exchanges P2PB2B has an issue here among traders and the community, they tried to launch a campaign, but unfortunately, they met with a lot of oppositions, not really good for their reputation.
1999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi Network [for the ones who doesn’t know it already] on: December 22, 2019, 12:26:35 AM
dude from the time that other guy posted about that mobile data farm shit, and when you posted, it hasent done anything (except make its creator $$$ selling your analytics)
same as the last YEAR its been alive. i have zero faith in it ever doing anything, its just following the same path facebook did, collecting analytics to sell
there isnt even a chain for it, or a simple token contract even.   what a scam

They now have millions of members mining their Crypto on their cellphone and I read that they are on the KYC stage for some of their pioneers, Ihave second thought undegoing this KYC I ahve not done it on some of the projects I've promoted, but let's see if they are legit or the biggest scam in the internet, of course, they are only getting our data.
2000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: December 21, 2019, 11:20:29 PM
Maybe it's asked before, still, it will help us a lot.

Why do you gamble?

Why do you do not invest that money instead?
Why you do not donate them?

Because you are bored?
Because you are looking for entertainment?
Because you are going after the big score?

Why?
Honestly, I play for fun it's up to people to believe I won't convince anybody
and about investing instead I am already investing, and gambling is something that I do it for myself as rewards for hard days work, everyone deserves a break and to have some fun, and for me it's gambling.
