201  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: January 19, 2024, 01:02:41 AM
Another DIP buying opportunity might be coming! I'm not sure how low, or if this correction continues to fall under $40,000, but buying some Bitcoin with any sort of discount should definitely be "greeted" with open arms. Don't miss the opportunity!

Buy the DIP, and HODL!
Indeed. Probably many of us are expecting the price will already skyrocket after the recent good news circulating crypto as a whole. But it didn't go the way they expected and the price had correction. This might be a not so good news for investors who have a high expectation that bull run is already coming. But for investors who still want to engage themselves or wants to accumulate more, this situation is an opportunity.

Therefore, don't miss the chance especially if your plan is to hold for long term. Remember that if you want to gain something then you need to take risk. So buy and forget for a while. In time, you'll see the worth of holding Bitcoin (long time investors already proven it).
202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever regretted selling your bitcoins ? on: January 18, 2024, 11:54:27 AM
I have a regret but it's not that hard to move on. Because even I do sell my Bitcoin for a cheaper price before, it didn't go to waste since I still gained from it somehow. Big or small, what matter is you're in profit when you sell.

Moreover my decisions in the past serves as a lesson for me to not repeat the same mistakes again for not having a long patience and trust. I think if there's a situation that I really regret, that is not buying Bitcoin when it's just few years old and the price is quite cheap. Who would have thought that it will became this big now. Anyway, it's all in the past, so let's just move forward.
203  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Between placing a wife on monthly allowance and opening business for her on: January 18, 2024, 09:25:37 AM
Now my question is between having a house wife that will take care of your home and receives monthly allowance and establishing a business of her own for her which is more preferable and why?
Why not doing both? As a wife, I can do business while taking care of the kids and our home. It's more empowering that you know to yourself that you can do something aside from being a plain housewife and just waiting for allowance. However, of course we still need the support of our husband because it's not an easy task.

Being confident that you already did your part for establishing a business for your wife so she can provide for her needs are not a good mindset. It is still different and extra special if the husband exert an effort to give her wife the support that she needs not just financially but more on physical and emotional aspects.
204  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Web3 Games on: January 18, 2024, 03:00:51 AM

205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another question? Tell me your average amount per bet and your monthly income? on: January 17, 2024, 11:16:39 AM
Hello gamblers, this is a kind of survey aimed at getting to know my fellow gamblers better, particularly in the context of sports betting. I would like to know your average bet amount and your monthly income.
I prefer to not say my monthly income since I don't find it necessary to discuss. But my set budget for gambling as my leisure is 5% of my salary (daily job, sig campaign and income in my business). My average bet is around $1-$2 in Baccarat (that's the game I usually play).

I'm not like others who have a decent funds when they gamble because i'm just playing during day off to kill time. It's important that we gamble in moderation so that we can control ourselves to stick only to our budget. What matter is you are satisfied everytime you gamble.
206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Buying More Tickets To Increase Your chances on: January 17, 2024, 07:25:23 AM
How about you as a Lotto bettor do you buy more tickets when the prize skyrocketed and how many more tickets are you adding
Well, I'm not tempted to buy lottery tickets just because of the jackpot. Often, I just buy (regardless of the jackpot prize) because I have a numbers in mind. Before, i'm a regular bettor of keno lotto (if you're familiar with it) and also had the chance to win a decent amount solely because of luck. But in national lottery I don't often bet, i'm not certain if there's a winner already of 6/55 lotto but what I saw on the news are, someone got lucky in 6/49 super lotto, winning over $11 million dollars, that's quite huge.

For me there's nothing wrong if you want to double your tickets to increase your chances. However keep in mind that lottery is a game of luck so have less expectation to not regret using your money just to buy tickets.
207  Economy / Economics / Re: girl math vs boy math on: January 17, 2024, 12:51:33 AM
so lets show you how people think about money
(example people are 20yo in 2020)
Well, this is somehow realistic. Many women at the age of early 20s are not thinking of their future and more focus on material things that can satisfy themselves. However we should not generalize women as not all have such way of thinking because there are also men who sometimes think that way too.

IMO, it depends on the mindset of each person since regardless of the gender, one can act wisely to spend their money where they can gain in the future rather than spending it in material things. In the end, clearly the future depends on how you act when you are still younger and still capable to work and earn. Because certainly there's a different outcome when you chose the wiser side than the other.
208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cashout or wait till the end? on: January 16, 2024, 07:09:30 AM
cashing out or waiting till the end of game which is more better?
If i'm in such situation I will probably choose the safer side and that is to cash out already because it's a sure money. The amount is already decent to enjoy and it's given in front of me so I will not refuse it. Even the outcome (if I waited) is in favor to me, that would be fine. I might have a little regret but it's gambling, you'll never know what's going to happen next.

Anyway, this still depends for every gamblers since we have our own way of thinking. There might be gamblers who have guts and firm on taking risk while others might just chose to give up and cash out the money.
209  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: January 16, 2024, 04:38:25 AM
As long as I was losing, the account was in operation and I was depositing new funds every day, until the moment I started winnig.
Typical operation of a scam casino. How did you find 1xbit? Because this casino has very bad reputation for scamming their gamblers. Many scam accusations are not resolved and the casino just ignored these gamblers as if all is well in their business. If only you did your research before playing, you'll not going to fall victim. Anyway, there's no chance to get back your winnings or even your deposit so unfortunately just move on. It's a lesson learned the hard way.
210  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the end of excitement on: January 16, 2024, 03:23:28 AM
Halving is not yet happening so there's still an event to look forward to for the price to soar high. Just because ETF approval did happened doesn't necessarily mean the price will skyrocket already. There's a time for it and we as an investors needs to become patient in order to witness the next bull run.

If you're a long investor for real, you won't question why the price is not what you expected it to be despite of the good news surrounding crypto as a whole. Just wait because we will get there. Since you are accumulating Bitcoin for years (as you've said), you should know this better.
211  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your advised for being a trader? on: January 16, 2024, 01:36:34 AM
Trading is kind of risky thing where you can generate money and you also can lost the whole fund within few seconds. So it isn't recommend to trade if you don't know anything.
This is true. If you trade but not knowing what you are getting into is more like gambling. Because you don't know anything and just want to trade because of the potential profit. In trading, knowledge is crucial, therefore that's the first thing that a traders should be aware of before risking their money.

But I don't support the idea "Doing trades with small fund and keep learning". Cause thus i made loss continuesly. i know a traders need to know technical, fandmental analysis, need to check news and many more. So What things do you follow and advice before open a trade?
Using a small fund is not bad if you're just a beginner. But if you keep losing when you trade, it just shows that there's something wrong with your strategy. If we lose our capital, that's how we will realize the mistakes that we did and will learn to improve. So the next time, it won't happen again. If you didn't learn anything from your previous experiences then maybe trading is not suitable for you.
212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's The Weirdest Alibi Of Gamblers So They Can Continue Gambling? on: January 15, 2024, 09:10:26 AM
What's The Weirdest Alibi Of Gamblers you've heard or read, So They Can Continue Gambling
I remember this childhood friend who's into lottery. He buy ticket almost everyday (this is before, I don't know if he gave up already) because he has numbers in mind and that are the birthdays of their family members. He said "If I don't buy ticket then how can I become rich?" He has a point though. But we know the chances in lottery, it's one in a million and close to impossible.
213  Other / Off-topic / Re: Know when to stop on: January 15, 2024, 06:50:27 AM
* Stop when your losing is now getting to you.
To prevent further losses. Just stop if losing streak is already hitting you. Don't even try to chase back what you have lost. Just quit and come back some other time if you're already in the mood to try again using the money that you can live without.

* Stop when you have a big winning, by channeling the money somewhere else so you won't lose it back to gambling.
I agree. If you are fortunate to win a decent amount, use the money to spend for other things. Enjoy your winnings and refrain from playing so that you can't lose it to the casino again.

In gambling, it's crucial to know when you should stop. Don't pressure yourself and just enjoy the game. If there's no fun anymore and you are losing your money, then just stop.
214  Economy / Gambling / Re: Responsible gambling on: January 15, 2024, 03:05:59 AM
Greed is what makes a gambler to continue gambling despite even starting his whole gambling session with an ideal target or time he would want to  gamble but at his playing everything changes in a split second when the urge to gather more comes into his taught and I doubt that he would even remember even setting boundaries because that quest to acquire more overshadows every other taught in his head and that what's make him lose everything too at the end and then starts chasing previous which can turn him to an addicted gambler.
This can happen if the gambler has no discipline. Even you already set a budget to use for playing, it will be useless if you don't have discipline. Unable to control your emotion is indeed a problem of a gambler because you'll tend to forget your main plan before deciding to play the specific game.

It's a human nature to be greedy sometimes, but it's a must that you can still think of what should be the right thing do, is it to go beyond your limit or stick to your set plan? If you chose the latter then you're a kind of gambler who never let greed influence you just because you are winning/losing.
215  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: January 15, 2024, 01:13:04 AM
Kaya mas mabuting mag-ingat just incase na may problema.

216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be worried or comfortable seeing your elderly mother gambling? on: January 14, 2024, 09:10:51 AM
It's fine for me if my mother will only gamble in online casino. There's a privacy and she don't have to go outside for her own safety. As long as she's playing in moderation then I will allow her to play. We know elder people are also looking for hobby to entertain themselves. So it's understandable for me if she is looking for activity to spend her time. Therefore if that's her way to enjoy then it's fine.

However, i'm against if she will play in a physical casino. Because it's a different place and it can also pressure her to spend more since others are doing so. Moreover it's not good for her health.
217  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: January 14, 2024, 08:16:26 AM

No one forced the casino on him, he saw the terms that they have the right to request kyc verification if they suspect his activity and I’m sure he’s not new to gambling so he should be aware of this.

While I do agree with you, I would also be frustated if you would need to do KYC for low amounts that you want to withdraw. I have had the same before on some sites and it is not fun but ultimately you comply as it is in their terms, and I think in the long end all casinos will start to do KYC.
It's in the rules of the casino so if this gambler take time to read the ToS then he will not question as to why he's asked to do KYC. Because regardless of the amount, if it's necessary and the casino required you to comply then you have to, this is, if you still want to get your funds. Anyway, in the end he got his money already and it is resolved. Though he seem not happy experiencing such because of the value of his deposit.
218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does it looks responsible as woman telling husband you gamble? on: January 14, 2024, 03:32:22 AM
The point is my husband doesn't know that i have been secretly gambling and involving myself with gambling discussions and the rest, So, this morning when i woke something in me keeps telling me i should let him know to understand my involvement  to practice gambling.

Does this worth telling him or not please i need you collective ideas.
It's better to be open with your husband since clearly you have discipline everytime you play. Therefore I don't think it will become an issue if you tell your husband about this because you're not addicted to it and just playing in moderation and as you've said, for fun.

However, there are things that you can keep to yourself especially if this activity doesn't affect your relationship with the family and your finances. But of course, it's still best to have an open communication with your husband so he will be aware of what you are up to.
219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Alter Ego In Gambling on: January 14, 2024, 01:51:47 AM
How about you Are you gambling in a way that is very different from your true personality,
I think no. Because my personality is, i'm not afraid to take risk when there's something I want to try on. The same goes when I gamble (though i'm not mainly playing to profit), despite of the fact that losing our money is inevitable, I still want to play. Because this is my time for leisure during my off from work. I don't show different personality as I can control myself and not pressured to win. Just enjoy the game and the time spent in gambling.
220  Economy / Gambling / Re: From $17 to $37000!!! Craziest Crypto Win in 2023!!!! on: January 14, 2024, 01:16:43 AM
Since it happen May 2023 last year, when did this interview happened? If this was just a recent one then probably he already invested most of his winnings on crypto? (of course I'm assuming this might have been a late interview and was just posted here lately) If that's the case then he probably have profit more on it if he did invest those winnings.
That might be true since 8 months already passed. They said this story is a gem and worth to share to other gamblers as a proof that a gambler can become extremely lucky after just depositing a small amount.

Well, it's nice to have such story of a lucky person who gained huge from gambling. It can motivate other gamblers that it is not impossible to have same fate and can attract to play on the same casino and the specific game. This is late but still, congrats to him and I hope he used his money wisely.
