2061  Other / Meta / Re: META - I have question on: November 26, 2021, 12:12:51 AM
I have a question.
1. The difference between the DT-1 and DT-2? along with its function?

The links provided above are great but if you want a tl;dr - for a new member like yourself there is not much difference, DT1 and DT2 members are users whose trust ratings are shown by default in  the "trust" section of user profiles. DT1 users are slightly more privileged in that they can kinda sorta elect DT2 members but eventually once you figure out whose judgement you trust, you should create your own trust list and at that point DT1/DT2 doesn't matter much to you.
2062  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Elon calls out CZ over Binance issue; CZ got piqued, went out of context on: November 25, 2021, 07:18:18 PM
None of this has anything to do with Bitcoin though, does it?

Shitcoin central (major Cryptsy déjà vu but I digress) Binance in a spat with a mega shitcoining troll. Should be on the altcoin boards IMO.

Watching Lions or eating turkey and drinking and trolling extended family members with batshit conspiracy theories. Tough choice.

LOL, not really.

Enjoy the games. I'll check back on Sunday. Happy Thanksgiving and avoid Black Friday stampede.

Better?

Yes, albeit as pointed out by our quadruplet (or is it quintuplet? I lost count TBH) there is still room for improvement in the resolution department.
2065  Other / Meta / Re: Ban appeal - Scorum on: November 24, 2021, 03:48:57 PM
As far as I know, it is forbidden to create a thread about the company, if the creator of previous one was banned.

It is not about threads or companies, it's about the person who was banned. This is why I suggested that you read the rules. And you would have also learned that making two posts in a row is not allowed. Seriously, read the rules, can't be that hard.
2066  Other / Meta / Re: Ban appeal - Scorum on: November 24, 2021, 12:20:50 PM
Unfortunately, we no longer have access to the account, as the previous manager can't be reached to provide it.
We are really sorry that there were violations of the rules on our part. We would really appreciate it if you could give us another opportunity to resume our activity here.

Your best hope is to ask moderators to lock the old thread (or just let it fall into irrelevance) and start a new one with a new account. Since you're claiming to be a different person then the ban doesn't apply to you.

Trying to recover an account that supposedly belonged to someone else is not going to work and you don't want to be associated with a banned account anyway.

While you're at it, read the rules pinned at the top of this board.
2067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: November 24, 2021, 11:48:46 AM
However, did everyone assume or expect that Daniel Jones would bring them to the playoffs or have a positive win and loss record for the season?

Only because you asked; not to be interpreted as taunting ahead of my matchup with wheelz:

I threw a nice chunk on them winning the NFL Least division.  I will bet they hit 9 wins this year.  Their secondary is sick.  Line is a year older and they upped their revving corps.  Danny year 3 which is a make or break year.  I know I'm a Homer chi but 9 wins and the division it is.  And will STILL pick #1 in next year's draft  Grin
2068  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: can someone help me check and get the private key working. on: November 24, 2021, 11:42:11 AM
The largest transaction ever made was for 550,000 BTC in 2011: https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/transaction/29a3efd3ef04f9153d47a990bd7b048a4b2d213daaa5fb8ed670fb85f13bdbcf
The largest transaction around July 30th, 2015 (depending on your timezone) was for 8,999 BTC: https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/transaction/6fc2e2faa284f4d145e9a0c7d07166d17fa575dfd5d9206a82013d97d1dd5819
And the largest around July 30th, 2016 was for 29,900 BTC: https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/transaction/a5272593ea3c9f7a6bd03eb61857f4e3f787a49b80bf4824cdc6132ea1467c89

Allowing for some unfortunate language and formatting confusion, there are no 750 BTC outputs between July 29-21 in 2015, and there is one in 2016 to a wallet of some Chinese miner:

I'm sorry but you sound like a nutcase.
Fixed that for you. Don't be sorry for your opinion, that causes snowflakism.

Oh no, you hurt my fee-fees now Smiley

Seriously though, this looked like a somewhat interesting puzzle about 2-3 posts into the thread so I am indeed sorry it turned into a "help me hack Satoshi's coins" nonsense.

i'm to be one of the 20 founders of bitcoin but i withdrew from the project and joined outside jobs.
hope someone can help instead of reading and researching about me
I hope Dorian Prentice will see this post and contact me.

I'm sorry but you sound like a nutcase. Founders of Bitcoin? Dorian Prentice? Come on, that's not even funny if you're trying to be funny.

In case of a very slim probability that you're actually having a real problem, take your time, and use all the great advice you got above to figure out what you really have from 2015/2016, is it a private key, or a seed/phrase of some sort. Keep in mind that if you know only a few characters out of 64, you have no chance to "guess" the rest of it so don't waste your time.

getting painful being a fan of this slop

Giants still have a chance:

However what I find odd is that the GM created such kind of offense when they play at Buffalo, it is no secret that when players get to know they have to play at Buffalo they look at the calendar and curse their luck if they have to play there in December, so they either build a dome, adapt their offense to focus more on the run, or somehow Josh Allen trains himself to perform better under those weather conditions or we will keep seeing games like this one, in which they are being affected by the weather conditions at their home turf.

It might still work out for them. If they win just enough games to get into playoffs but not have home field advantage, and get playoff opponents in the more southerly climates, and SB is in LA Smiley

Anyway, pass issues aside, there was also a costly kick return fumble, and their "best in the league" (ok, maybe 2nd or 3rd best against the run but still) defense was quite disappointing too.

2072  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BPIP] Bitcointalk Public Information Project [Back in Action] on: November 22, 2021, 11:49:59 AM
Hey hey!

Just wondering here... are banned accounts prior to the creation of BPIP displayed as such? Or they simply show as "inactive"? There's a particular case I had to check and it showed as "inactive", so that got me wondering.

Thanks!

No, accounts banned prior to BPIP's existence (~2018-ish) will not be shown as banned.

This is one of those days again... Bills collapsed bigly... Deebo gets a running TD and Chubb gets a receiving TD... luckily Taco gets negative points from Bills too LOL... so maybe there's still a chance for me.

I want 9600 baud modems back. Watching hours of videos when a 10-minute read would suffice is going to be the death of this civilization.

Anyway, I stopped when the beard-dude with his pube-covered microphone feigned outrage about people losing money in casinos. How does he imagine gambling works?

Let me know if there is some substance somewhere in these videos, preferable with direct links or transcripts.

You can password protect Tasker so a thief cannot just immediately turn off the command.

Can't they just uninstall it?
2078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: November 20, 2021, 05:11:17 AM
Lets not get all excited, that was the falcons they faced after all. Cheesy

They beat Browns too albeit without Chubb.

But yeah I'd like to see them beat Bills twice, get to the playoffs, and win 7 Super Bowls before I proclaim Mac Jones as Brady 2.0.
2079  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Prosecution’s case against Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse ... BLOWN up on: November 19, 2021, 10:06:18 PM
Wonder if the verdict would have been the same if he'd been black and on the other side?

The verdict (along with sentencing and execution) would have been carried out when he approached the cops with his rifle.

You should create a separate ban appeal thread, this is not the right place for your grievances.
