2061  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 2022 low again? on: August 30, 2022, 01:07:53 PM
Hard to speculate what will be the price at the end of the year, our lowest is $17k and we are just barely out of it with the current price. If we have like $34k right now or at least doubled the last lows then maybe we might say that we might not see the price go lower. On the other hand, we are just $20k and we still have the last quarter, so many things can happen. Maybe there could be a negative news pulling the price to $16k. So it's better just to prepared for the worst.
2062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: August 30, 2022, 12:22:14 PM
this is like an amateur boxer fighting against professional lol .

but of course Butler will always keep chance with strong and heavy  punches  Grin

Butler still have 4 months for preparation , Maybe he will do everything in training to improve his capacity in facing greatest fighter of his time in His division .

Inoue will simple take this Belt for sure , Butler may have skills but not enough for this Japanese boxer that had already Shown his power over best asian fighter in the past , so  I believe that Butler is not the one who will beat Inoue but who truly knows?
boxer can make their opponent Down with lucky single punch.
yet nit until the fight is over , Butler will always chance to win

Hopefully this will be at least an entertaining fight, we all expect that it's just going to be a one-sided fight since we know how good and strong Inoue is, but this is an undisputed bout, it should be entertaining to watch. My prediction, Inoue by KO.
I think Butler has the pride here so he might go toe to toe with Inoue and see how he is going to hold against the power of Inoue. If he can stay then definitely it will be a entertaining fight. But if the power is too much for him, then Inoue by KO.

Not sure if an upset is going to happen, Butler is good but is it enough to take away Inoue's advantage? like the speed and a better chin and of course Inoue's power? don't think so. Inoue is the champion in bantam and the rest is chasing him because he is above them. We just have to look at the odds and see how bookmarkers never even give a chance for Butler with the almost 10:1 odds.
2063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 30, 2022, 11:56:58 AM
So why not just trade Mitchell for Westbrook? isn't it possible?

I guess both are making at least $30 million per year, Westbrook probably has a higher salary than Mitchell, but Jazz are seeing Westbrook could bring the team to the championship, maybe they'll ask for the Lakers to trade Mitchell for him. I'm not so familiar with the trade rules, but is my thinking make sense?
I don't think the Jazz want just plain Westbrook on the offer. They are rebuilding and they want young players to be polished just like what they did with Gobert and Mitchell. If not young players that are in the league then future drafts will suffice, that's why a direct trade between Jazz and Lakers won't happen just like that.
They may split something from the Knicks that is why a three-way trade may happen. But these are all still rumors, we won't know what could happen until it's finalized although the Knicks do badly want Mitchell on their roster.
I guess so, it will not be a 1:1 trade that is gonna happen here. I'm happy if this trade will happen, at least these two players can again prove themselves in a new team. Mitchell going to the Knicks, it will give the team a big lift as he is really a superstar, it's just that in the playoffs he does not excel well to impact the team, hopefully with a new team he will.

Maybe yes or maybe he really a choke type of player, though the idea of being traded to Knicks is something that might give him a shot

in carrying the team to chase for the title, it's a good move for the Knicks if they are trying to bring this franchise to a winning or a title contender

team, Mitchell is a great addition. Just let Mitchell lead their offense and use all the help from his teammates in winning a game.

Everything will be announced in case there're changes that may take place, still quiet about this trade and all are just rumors.

Winning a championship with Mitchell, that's a hard task IMO. Maybe the best thing that will happen to the Nets is they will improve and will be in the playoffs not experiencing a 1st round exit again. Also, Randle himself is a big choker as well, so that's another problem the team has to fixed.
I guess the Knicks might not be interested on a Mitchell acquisition, they've already finalizing RJ Barrett four-year rookie extension that could be worth up to $120 million. So that's huge amount of money and not sure if they can still afford Mitchell then.

So probably the Jazz will have to shop around again and see what will be their options for Mitchell. Maybe some other teams are still interested on him, money wise + future trade picks.

2065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: RUIZ VS ORTIZ SUN, SEP 04, 2022 10PM ET EASTERN TIME/ on: August 25, 2022, 01:21:14 PM

This is the Heavyweight division and everything can change in just one punch. And both of this boxers can knock out anyone with just one punch and that is why they are predicting a knock out.

We will see though if this is going to be a title eliminator, or the winner rightfully facing the WBC champion in Tyson Fury. Because there are rumors that he is not going to retire because and would very much fight Usyk. So let's see, the winner might have to wait though.

Whoever wins here is the rightful challenger to any of the world titles be it the WBC, WBA or IBF but if WBC will have their way, the Fury -Usyk will have to wait, and Fury if he wants to retain and take hold of the title he needs to fight the winner of this fight, but if Fury doesn't want to retain the WBC and go straight to the Usyk match then there could be an interim match, which the WBC will decide, there are so many speculations now.

Fury really has a lot of challenges to take in the future for him to maintain his title. There are lots of boxers who want to beat him because of his consistent winning record. Fury is an in-demand boxer right now and I guess he should take advantage of the many opportunities in front of him. However, he has to go through Usyk first who seems ready to face him on the ring.
Yes, Usyk is most likely the fight that Fury is going to make and not the winner of this fight. But he is asking for so much money, 500 M £? that is huge, but then again when the demand for that fight to happen is very big specially who is going to be his dance partner, for sure there is something that they can do to make the fight and lots of money for Fury. So it make sense that whoever wins here will have to step aside for sometime.
2066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about Moreno on: August 25, 2022, 12:31:18 PM
I've already asked in this section what could be a good alternative to Monero, but I haven't specified the reason of my question, so literally everybody were wondering why I was looking for an alternative despite having such a good platform like XMR.

The reason is that future regulations scare me a little bit, specially privacy limitations, they've already wiped out Tornado Cash and Blender, because "they are perfect for money laundering".

Their next target will be privacy coins, more specifically Monero, and nobody will change my mind, regulators already issued statements against Monero and I think it's only matter of time.

So, do you know any good alternatives to Monero?
But Monero is staying just ahead though,

Quote
This network upgrade will introduce important new features like:

A ring-size increase from 11 to 16 – the largest ever absolute increase in the base anonymity set (read: plausible deniability, or base privacy) – of every transaction on the network
Upgraded Bulletproofs algorithm, "Bulletproofs+", which will reduce the typical transaction size by ~5-7% and improve typical verification performance by ~5-7%, making every transaction lighter and faster
View tags, a brilliant way to reduce wallet sync times by 30-40%
Fee changes, improving the security and resilience of the network to rapid changes in the fee market or attacks by malicious entities
Major multi-sig fixes and improvements, including critical security patches

https://www.getmonero.org/2022/04/20/network-upgrade-july-2022.html

But as what @malcovi2, Monero and other privacy coins have been delisted by South Korean exchange and other big exchanges too. The only alternative privacy coins is Zcash, but there are also risk using them.
2067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: August 25, 2022, 11:53:40 AM

Well, from the point of view of betting, it's something else, but I think that this time Martinez really wants to stand out and from what I've read the boxer has very good technique, at a professional level I'm sure he won't do badly, so I have seen, some give Ancajas the winner, but in my personal opinion Martinez is a clear winner for me, obviously without going through Ancajas's abilities, Martinez is a boxer who for now will be measured with a higher degree of demand, here he can discovering that there is a business model that is impressive, and the statistics are supporting it, I wonder if it goes 3:1 how it will be in less time, will the ratio increase?

On the first fight it was obvious that Martinez was the clear winner, it was not a controversial fight as even the fans of Ancajas believe that Martinez won. Well, we are now in the rematch, I'm just hoping that Ancajas will make the right adjustment so it will not again result in a one sided fight.

No debate on that, Ancajas looks exhausted in that fight, so it's time for him to bounce back by winning the fight. I know it's easier said than done but I still believe that Ancajas is capable of doing that, he work his way to become a champion, he would not give up that easily, and winning here means him becoming a champion once again.

He cannot make another excuse if he will lose in the rematch (this fight), he has to give everything he has in order to get back the belt and be declared as a champion again. He is the hope of the Philippines because we only have few champions, and if there's a Filipino champions, people are more eager to watch the fight which could create unity to the people.

That fact alone will be one of the reasons why Ancajas should be more eager to get the belt that was once safe in his possession before he got lost by a first time title challenger, Martinez. Let's just give Ancajas the benefit of the doubt too because having a sudden exchange of opponent will of course make him struggle or any boxer in the industry as Ancajas himself didn't prepared for Martinez.
Yes, that is fair enough, let's see how he can do in the rematch, I mean he saw what he did wrong in the first fight that's why he immediately wanted to fight Martinez again and see a different version of Ancajas, the one that we know of, who can box and beat his opponent to the punch. He also has the speed, but something is really off that night with Ancajas and after the fight he said that he had cramps, but is no excuses. So in the rematch for sure it will be Ancajas at his best because he wanted to get back the belt that he lost and be back on the discussion for a Ioka fight.
2068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 25, 2022, 11:21:49 AM
I know NBA fans here talked too much about the Lakers in the past but now, we aren't hearing from them anymore aside from Lebron signing a 2 year deal.
Now the Lakers traded Talen Horton Tucker and forward Stanley Johnson for the veteran Patrick Beverley.

https://sportsnaut.com/los-angeles-lakers-patrick-beverley-trade/
Quote
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Beverley is headed back to Southren California in exchange for Talen Horton-Tucker. Other reports suggest that veteran forward Stanley Johnson is also headed to Salt Lake.

Lebron and Beverley had some trash talks in the past. Same goes for Westbrook and Beverley. Do you think that he is a good fit for the Lakers. For me, the Jazz won here big time because THT got a new team already. THT isn't that explosive with his stint with the Lakers so him going to other team might be a new opportunity for him to showcase his talents. I'm curious how will PatBev fit with the Lakers  Undecided
Nah, at the end of the day this players are competitors inside the court, but outside of the court they are all friends. Recently Green got married and you can see Lebron and Tatum was their.

Even Lance Stephenson and Lebron James have this "blowing the years" incident when he was still with the Pacers, but they become teammates in Lakers. There are a lot of expectations with THT, he wasn't even included in the trade to get Westbrook, they chooses Kyle Kuzma. But I guess with so much veterans in the Lakers uniform last season, THT didn't have the time or simply he is not up to par.
2069  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippine universities to offer Bitcoin courses in partnership with Binance on: August 25, 2022, 10:56:29 AM
Isn't it though that the Philippine government have qualms about Binance?

Philippine SEC cautions the public not to invest with Binance

Quote
“Binance does not possess the necessary authority and/or license to solicit investments as only registered corporations can apply for and be issued the necessary licenses to solicit investments.”

So what gives? anyone let's see how it goes for the PH government, maybe this is a way for Binance to let the government know that they are for the education of the Filipinos as far as Blockchain tech and crypto.
2070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: August 24, 2022, 12:25:35 PM
^^ Venue is also very important for this fight, gamblers will come out on the fight week so hotels and casinos will have to take advantage of it. Again, we have seen Crawford and Floyd in the public together and I reckon it could be in Floyd's hometown and for sure Floyd as well might be indirectly making money out of it. Good if they can add good undercard in this fight, but the selling point is still the main fight. Knowing how deep PBC's stable though, maybe they will have another big name to be included here.
2071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: August 24, 2022, 11:13:01 AM
Thanks to Canelo losing to Bivol, because if that didn't happen, we might not see this fight.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believed regardless of the result of the Bivol-Canelo match, the trilogy fight between Canelo and GGG will still materialize. That's already on Canelo's timeline this year. Instead, what I'm thinking is, that if GGG were defeated by Murata, that might ruin the negotiations regarding the trilogy.
Regardless of the outcome of the Bivol vs Canelo, this fight is going to happen specially when GGG defeated Murata. On the side of Canelo, his 2 fight deal with Matchroom include this trilogy.

Moving forward, we are all fortunate to witness the upcoming trilogy that was being requested for years.

Let's hope for no controversial issues that will happened in this fight.
Or let's hope that we can finally see a clear winner in the third fight. And we will not see the judges involving themselves. But this is unlikely to happen as both fighter have a solid chin a maybe there is no knock down or knock out.
2072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling schools importance on: August 24, 2022, 10:39:04 AM
There are

You can read this https://bitcasino.io article regarding gambling school:

https://bitcasino.io/blog/tipshackstricks/gambling-schools
I remember reading this. If I remember correctly the article talks about learning how to become a casino dealer, casino management, etc... I have a feeling that the "gambling school" in the article is not the one OP is talking about. anyway, if you or someone is planning on getting a career as a casino dealer, managing a casino or want to own a casino going to the school mentioned in the article would be a great move.
Yes, I think even casino's are sponsoring their employees to be enrolled on courses if they want to have a career and of course the bottom is to be a casino dealer. I know someone who is a dealer and he says that they did actually learn everything from dealing the cards to the casino school. But as for learning how to gamble itself, the answer is that we don't need to go to any institutions, just try to visit any casino that is close to your place or go online and play a games, whether card games or not.
2073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How would you prefer your casino reward? on: August 24, 2022, 10:16:02 AM
I vote for Free Spins. The reason is simple: I can use the Free Spin rewards directly and do not need to wait until I have time to cash out the money. The other thing is I can have more chances to win the games, although I also had a chance not to get anything from the Free Spins. I see some players can get money from their Free Spins, so I think I can have the opportunity to get some money too. But I realize that needs more luckiest to win big like that players.
It's not that you have to time to cash out with those direct cash, you need to fulfill something before you can actually withdraw those and for sure you will just go along and play with it.

Compare to Free Spins wherein this is one of our favorite, just easy, when you received this reward, just go to your favorite slot machine and then go and play and hope that you will get a jackpot or bonus and just continue to play until you get busted or increased your winnings.
2074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best portfolio for a $30k fund? on: August 23, 2022, 01:02:12 PM
Hey guys, just wanna ask, what do you think is the best crypto portfolio for a $30k fund?

Cheers!
That is a huge amount of money to invest in crypto, so I would say that it's better to have like:

BTC =50%
ETH = 25%

The rest of the 25% you can spread it out on other altcoins, maybe in the top 5-10. No need for meme coins, the risk is too high for now. Maybe BNB could be a good investment as well. And I would also say that it's better to let that money sit for a while, be a long time holder or at least check them when we hit the next bull run and see how much money you profited by tha time.
2075  Economy / Speculation / Re: I've been confused in BTC on: August 23, 2022, 12:09:48 PM
I am very disappointed with the state of Bitcoin in the current market. Because last week its price was 24000 dollars but now it shows 21 thousand dollars. I want to know from you, is the price of Bitcoin likely to fall further?
Who wouldn't disappointed when you see your portfolio going down? However, you should understand that the market is volatile and unstable because there are factors that affect the price movement. And obviously the news like this; https://www.nextgov.com/emerging-tech/2022/08/crypto-minings-energy-consumption-draws-additional-concern-lawmakers/376028/.

As far as you second question, no one has the crystal ball and we don't know what the future holds. So I will just suggest that you should invest what you can afford to lose so that you won't get nervous and panic every time the price goes down because for sure you will see them a lot if you chooses to stay in bitcoin market.
2076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October on: August 23, 2022, 11:28:25 AM
Definitely a good tune up fight for  Loma just to clear things up on the issues about Loma ducking against Haney. Also, this would be a good preparation for Loma moving forward to the Haney fight to avoid any reasons if Haney wins because Loma has never stepped up in the boxing ring for quite some time.
Nevertheless, hope after their respective fight they'll finally face each other more prepared.
I don't think that Loma is ducking Haney, it was just that George Kambosos activated the rematch clause so there's nothing that Haney can do but to honor that. Besides, he has beaten Kambosos already so we might see him doing the same in the rematch.

And it's good for Loma to have a tune up fight first, maybe he is eager to comeback, but he should prepare for the bigger fight later. So Ortiz could be a test for him. This is also good for Ortiz as we might see how he fight and he will be exposed with his name.
2077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you play Slots? (long sessions / jumper / focussed) on: August 23, 2022, 11:03:05 AM
A really tough question to answers, so I would say no particular way of playing slots, could be depend on my mood on that machine. If I felt that it might get a good payout then I will stick with it. But in the beginning, you can't even hit a good combination or like 10 successive lost, then for sure I will go on the next slot machine or look for something that I feel playing. Of course, still depends on the bankroll, but sometimes I stop playing a particular slot even if I have a great bankroll.
2078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 23, 2022, 10:31:47 AM
Thats a massive jump up the rankings by Coric, top 30 player now so he should start
climbing further if he can keep his current form, he had some really great winning
shots in that match, and yes the U.S Grand Slam should be very interesting for him and
hopefully we can make some Satoshi's in the early stages with him.

Yes, although I'm a big fan of Tsitsipas, seems that he is really broken up mentally in that game. I mean you had a huge lead in the first set, how can he let Coric come back strong and win it? And in the second set it was all Coric, Tsitsipas has no answer and as you have said, great winning shots so he can't be denied.

Will look for him of course in the next Grand Slam, or maybe he could be the dark horse of that tournament if he get to the quarterfinals.

I also used to be a big fan of Tsitsipas but I think he has changed his attitude in the last
2 years or so. He has become one of those players who is walking on the very edges of
the rules in order to compensate for short comings in his abilities so I have kind of gone off him.
His infamous bathroom breaks and then speculation that he is getting coach that time.

Nadal does it too but in a more routine based style, he does it all the time, its just his style,
Tsitsipas does it only when things are going against him.
I agree that probably Tsitsipas has lost his game because he doesn't have the strength within him. When he is broken, hard for him to comeback and overcome his opponents specially if they can match him stride for stride. He really needs to overcome that in order for him to win bigger tournaments in the future.
2079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 23, 2022, 10:07:24 AM
Lakers is indeed a powerful team so its players should also represent the outstanding performances that the team needs. However, with Westbrook, even if he has not made outstanding performances in the previous games, but I don’t think Lakers will pursue trading Westbrook, instead the team will add more players that bring more asset to the team.
They are not pursuing it because no team is willing to make a trade. That's why they should just forget about it and move on, use Westbrook as one of their key players again and see if this time he would be productive. Maybe it just needs time to adjust and build some chemistry with Lebron and AD for us to see his worth.

They should give it a try if this trio could work. Last season, they only played together for 21 games. I think no one could build reliable chemistry if you only played too few games together. If AD and Lebron can stay healthy, maybe they could eventually have chemistry with Westbrook. And who knows, their coach wanted Westbrook to remain, maybe he has something in mind that could make Westbrook fit better with the Lakers.
Ham already says that he wanted Westbrook to stay with the Lakers as he might have something in mind for the 3 to work out and make a good chemistry. And I agree that 20 games is not enough for them to build a rapport and it should be consistent as well. But they have their issues like AD getting injured and then Lebron so it's really hard for the Lakers to win games if any of the 3 are injured or not playing.

I believe the Lakers can do it as long as they keep being healthy all season long. Davis is so fragile and would cost them to lost momentum when they start winning.
Ham, also mentioned they could retain Westbrook and run their offense mainly with AD and Westbrook.
I don't really know how they'll run their offense, but I think they should improve more with their defense.
That is really the key for the Lakers, when they won their title with Davis and Lebron, they guy didn't get any worst injuries so they are a healthy unit. But in a span of like 2-3 years, maybe it was their age specially for Lebron he is now injury prone. In the case of Davis its his height and it really takes a lot of toll in his body. So they really have to take care and make themselves healthy and Westbrook too so that they will have a good chance this season and for sure Lebron is eager to come back strong.
2080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: August 22, 2022, 08:39:08 PM
I became a big fan of Bivol after he schooled Canelo, he is a great fighter in his own right, and Ramirez is a respected power puncher but in terms of defense, that's where he lacks Bivol will exploit that weakness, after he beat Canelo there's now a level of invincibility in him, he is a total class fighter we have a saying to be the man you have to beat the man and he schooled the man, so he is the man that will win this matchup, and this has the making of a great fight.
His name suddenly was in the radar for most casual fans because the way he beat the formidable Saul Canelo Alvarez during their fight. Although the score is very close, but we have seen how Bivol dominated Alvarez with his volume punching. What's holding Canelo is that he has a good chin, but he was no match. So if a boxer with that caliber can't beat Bivol, so what is the chance of Ramirez? I would say very slim, he really needs to be 100% healthy in this fight. Otherwise if will also be dominated by Bivol and maybe win by a knock out.
