Game 1 for the grand finals ended and it was taken by GG. I thought that Liquid will still be able to win that first match but it's noticeable that without boxi, they've got a different playstyle. In the first minutes of the game, it seems that Liquid is playing trash and is like the thrower of the game.
But then, it's just game 1 and there are few games left to see if they've learned from this match. Lina pick again that has lost against NP, they just like giving away lina and don't want to ban it.
2122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In the best interest of investors, Bounties shouldn't be paid in Tokens on: March 05, 2023, 08:38:43 PM
You're right because what's on the mind of the majority of bounty hunters is to dump the rewards in the form of their project's token. Everyone wants to take out their share as soon as possible and as soon as they've received it.
But on the side of these project developers, it's like a surplus to them and that's why they're paying through their tokens. It's like they're paying everyone out of thin air if ever their project becomes successful and if ever it's a failure, they've got nothing to lose but just a part of their supply.
I agree, they just get rid of project tokens that have no value in the short term. Some investors buy from bounty hunters for dirty cheap prices in order to dump on the market when an altcoin rally happens. Unfortunately, not all bounty hunters are patient enough to wait for the right time and then sell the bounty rewards at the highest possible market price. As a final result, bounty tokens are used to decrease the market value of project coins so it is somewhat lose-lose situation for both parties, IMO.
That's the usual thing to do because bounty hunters don't really expect a lot from these projects and they also want to take profit as much as possible. No matter how hard they try to keep it, they've got experiences that it's not a good thing to keep those tokens because they're bound to be dumped by the devs, early investors, and then bounty hunters. Even if they put a lock-in period for the bounty hunters, still, those tokens won't be going anywhere but to be dumped.

I like the line and painting in them, I'm used to them and I want to find the same only in cryptocurrency.
If it is the design you're looking for, I reckon the suggestion about using google lens and then searching each of them manually. Actually, I'm aware of betboom's existence thanks to their Dota 2-sponsored team. But despite that, I'm not a fan of their team but I do recognize how good the team and its players are. Btw OP, most of the designs are like where there's the left side panel down the list of games for most casinos if in case you're not aware of it.
2124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: March 04, 2023, 08:52:44 PM
I almost thought we'll be seeing a third game because that second game should've been a win for SR but Team Liquid was able to hold on and stop their power spike during the 20+ mins mark.

With SR knocked down to the lower bracket it looks like we could possibly see a matchup between them and EG if they can beat Team Aster tomorrow.

They really will be matching as Team Aster have been beaten by EG but we don't need to wait until tomorrow as the match will happen after the series of Talon and Team Spirit. If you want to bet for that match guys, my tip is that Shopify Rebellion has got the upper hand on this match. Why?
Because Evil Geniuses just came from a tough 3 matches against Team Aster and that has probably drained their minds already. Whilst for SR, this is their only match for this day. I wonder why the scheduling is like that but well, since it's in the lower bracket, all of the favors and toughness are in there.

i thought the match is for tomorrow lol.

I'd be going for -1.5 for Shopify Rebellion in here simply because they are well rested and had the chance to watch how EG plays and learn of some of the strategies they have used during their series with Team Aster. Favorites are SR right now but the -1.5 maps option is still juicy enough for the taking if you want some extra risks to take. I wouldn't call it SR win too early, but with the state of EG right now--drained and tired from the previous match--it's easier for me to favor SR. It will also add if Rtz gives us some more highlights during the day that favors their team to advance in the tournament.
That's okay, Shopify Rebellion just won that and within a few moments from now on they'll be up against Talon Esports and this is the battle for fourth place. I've watched the match between SR and EG and all I can say is that EG really did well in all of those games. And there's the advantage for Shopify Rebellion as you have said they've drained already because they've been with a series just a few hours before they start with SR. Despite that advantage from SR, EG showed that they are one of the best teams in SA and I can say not just there but, also in the entire world IMO. Right on, waiting for the start of Talon Esports and SR.

That problem depends on the organizer, I remember the Shanghai major where it's truly a disaster and there were players' belongings and money that have been robbed.
Well, needless to say, the major is already in the playoffs, and despite all of those issues that have been caught and come out it still proceeded.
Right now, in the lower bracket, cast now your bets with the match of Talon and HellRaisers.

I think disaster is an understatement for the current status of this major. To be honest, this has to be the worst major so far that Valve has prepared. Not only that they misorganized almost the processes, but the pause on the games which caused hours of delays, the casters and some cringe-y interaction with the crowds is just painful to look at.

I remember back in Shanghai major, some of the belongings were stolen. But in this Lima Major, sounds were an issue, lag problems, cables, etc.- it just a total disaster that is completely different from Valve standards.
Well, both have been terrible majors, and whether we compare them or not nothing will change the fact that these Lima major organizers are truly the worst. Valve should choose their organizers wisely since majors are the much-awaited tournaments for this year and these are like the qualifiers and gateway to the upcoming TI for this year.
Anyway, who has seen and watched the ending of Team Spirit and Talon? Talon has won the match and upon exiting of players and showing sportsmanship, Yatoro went directly outside through the crowd and didn't shake anyone's hand to any Talon players, for sure that he's frustrated with those die backs so it probably had caused him to avoid handshaking after the game.
2127  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you have any financial regrets ? on: March 03, 2023, 09:50:00 PM
You are not alone in your bitcoin regrets. A lot of us have missed the opportunity of buying it while it was still very cheap. We could have been millionaires today. But lets not dwell on it anymore as it won't be helpful for us to grow in the future. Like OP, don't be bothered anymore on what you have not bought in the past. Learn and invest in bitcoin, Im sure this will lead you to a lot of bigger opportunities once you succeeded from it.
I guess the majority of us have that regret related to bitcoin. Let's make it a lesson learned because we can't go back in time and we need to move on and keep on moving forward because that's how should our progress must be. And not only with bitcoin but with some altcoins too.
That will be a never ending thinking of that regret if we keep dwelling on that mistake in the past. We don't have a time machine to get back and hit the jackpot but we just have to bear with things right now.

2129  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trading Or Holdings on: March 03, 2023, 05:07:44 PM
I want to know the opinion of our community that which is the best option. Just do both trading and holding. You need to trade most of the bounty tokens/ coins 🪙 to exchange with the top altcoins bitcoin. And hold the potential altcoins to wait for the raise of their price. I do this way to gain more benefits from the values of the coins/tokens.
You already know what you must do so just keep that moving and be consistent and always get to have bitcoin. You might have some good potential altcoins to hold after dumping all of those bounty tokens or coins. But you should also be prioritizing having more bitcoin with those gains or before you buy another altcoin, don't settle for not having bitcoin for every purchase you make. Because that's the best strategy that someone can do and based on my experience, it is really the best thing to do.
2130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 02, 2023, 10:36:17 PM
Well, for me, Floyd Mayweather is not such an iconic boxer, I am sure that many know well who Pacquiao is before him, I cannot deny, he is a very intelligent boxer, he knows how to handle fights in a totally technical area very well, but sometimes Sometimes that is something that is boring, we as fans want to see more action, we want to see technique and we want to see what they are capable of, that they reach the limit, maybe things are getting more demanding for this type of boxer.
I know what you feel and that vibe is the same with many boxing fans. It's true that he's a living legend and he's got a good and clean record but he's not really an icon to many. I don't know maybe that feels about how he's interacting with fans and the charisma isn't just the same with other real icons that we can say like Pacquiao, Marquez, and other boxers that have been knowing for the past years. And it even made his reputation lower when he's doing some exhibition matches as it's intended to make money just as his alias.

Get some idea of where you should keep it through this stickied thread about wallets: [General] Bitcoin Wallets - Which, what, why?
It's never an advisable thing to keep your bitcoins in the exchange if the sole purpose is just to save them there. Because you don't hold the keys so you don't anything yet there if it's in there. Once you place your order from the exchange and your bitcoin is already there, you have to withdraw it and move it to your chosen wallet of yours like Electrum.

This major is a complete disaster! The pause between games can go up to 2 hours and even after 2 hours , the production cannot be sure if they can resume the competition or make another quick check and I thought ok , it's only 1st day , things can be resolved with a decent IT crew specialized on streaming and using OBS, which I'm more than familiar and they should resolve it quickly but I guess no one made a  backup configuration file.

Second day started with another 1 hour delay and it seems it will continue like this for the rest of the Major with at least 1 H pause between games, even if we switch from game 1 to game 2 or from a team to another.
That problem depends on the organizer, I remember the Shanghai major where it's truly a disaster and there were players' belongings and money that have been robbed.

2133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a Mainstream payment method on: March 02, 2023, 12:56:57 PM
Isn't it recognized yet that bitcoin is already in the mainstream as a payment method for some? Yeah, some because many consider it as an investment but payment platforms that come from the big exchanges like Binance Pay, Coinbase Pay and other exchanges and platforms that focus on servicing crypto payments are already there. But talking about in general about those people that don't really like the idea of bitcoin as a payment, it all starts with they have lack knowledge of it so they don't understand the whole thing.
2134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin? What's your percentage? on: March 01, 2023, 11:39:49 PM
If you have been in Bitcoin for over 4 years and have passed through bull and bear markets, you have tasted the benefits of Bitcoin already, I don't see anyone who had already gotten into this phase backing away from Bitcoin and facing fiat again. 100% immutable.

BTC is just more than a decade but once BTC has made one informed generation, the information will be passed on to the kids and to many generations to come.
We can't blame those people that have less experience in the market and with bitcoin's sway motions. It's gonna make them doubtful because they haven't seen how the market cycle for bitcoin. But those people like us even if we've got regrets about not buying early and selling at the top, we knew how it will go eventually for the next cycles and years to come. Despite all of those missed out opportunities, this won't make us doubtful on bitcoin because we've seen how it went far and moved as low as it can get on a bear market.
2135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: March 01, 2023, 10:35:00 PM
EG with the lead after map one. I felt like Beastcoast drafted a bit out of their comfort zone here, not used to seeing Dark Mago on Lesh but I am not following them that closely so I could be wrong.
As for Dark Mago, I think this is his comfort hero. Game 1 didn't really go well for beast coast as Dark Mago's ember was totally bullied by C smile.
The 2nd game is ongoing and it's on 20 minutes mark I like C Smile's rotation and almost controlled the map but then, beastcoast's counter with bloodseeker on K1. If we'll talk about the late game in this match, the bear of Pakasz will be having a stronger chance of odds of winning the game. Both teams got good disablers and with a mark of mid-game, it's more now of a team clash and I'm liking what I'm watching now.
Beastcoast got magnus and treant for massive disable while for EG they've got blackhole only.

Still about Dota 2 for this news. I'm sure many of you guys are aware of BTS Pro Series' and how many seasons were there from this tournament. Just to inform you guys that the organizer/production company, BTS(BeyondTheSummit) has ceased its operations. This is actually a bad news, with few production companies like them that have been in esports for 11 years, it's sad to see them go. No longer showcasing talents from small teams and aspiring players through their tournaments like the known BTS PRO Series.
News: Beyond The Summit Shuts Operations After 11 Years of Shaping Esports

Valve decided to let them go IIRC. Their viewership isn't that great compared to the past years of them airing and hosting tournaments. From a business standpoint, I somehow agree with this decision. There's a lot of talents in there during tournament proper, and aside from that they are also responsible for the prize pool. They've gone under, and at this point it's best to leave the scene and move on.
It's just so sad to see them go, they've contributed a lot to the scene and that's why it's heartbreaking. I even saw their production having a sponsor like Coinbase and that made me feel great as someone who's in crypto and at the same time in esports as well. Anyway, that's it and yeah, it's still a business and that decision is for the betterment of the path they'll be taking.
Going back to Lima, Tundra is out after being beaten by Team Aster.
2137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are investors so sceptical about Altcoins? on: March 01, 2023, 08:26:59 PM
Altcoin have led many into bankruptcy, and at that, it is not advisable to invest in coins, this is why most potential investors have a drawback from altcoin.
In a general talk about altcoins, only a few of them are worth taking a shot at. I've done and missed a lot of opportunities and that's why even with those experiences, I'm still trying to catch some good pumps with altcoins but only with the good ones. I don't randomly choose any of them because from what I think, there will always be a huge market to it but the bad thing is that they're scattered and there are too many of them in the market. And to those that don't like them anymore, they could be maxis or have got a terrible experience investing on it.
2138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time is the most valuable thing on: February 28, 2023, 07:04:50 PM
That's true that time is one of the most valuable things in the world, it is limited every day hence, it's scarce. I have nothing against those that are in the corporate world since we're just the same and there are people that are forced to stay in their jobs because that's what they think is best for them and there's job security that they really like to have. They choose needs over other things such as giving themselves free time for many other things like their family since in the first place, they're doing it all for their family. Having bitcoin as an investment and earning from it, really is a life saver that has given a lot of folks more time to themselves and to their families but not all do have the same experience.
2139  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: February 28, 2023, 11:06:41 AM
IMHO, those gamblers that are doing it for fun have even the control than those that are gambling for profit.
If we are just doing it for fun then we will get out early but if we are seeking big profits then we will get engaged in some kind of aggressive betting that can make us addicted towards gambling which should be avoided at any cost.We all need profits in gambling but always in this hope can lead to worse scenarios.
It varies then for each of us what we think is right, so, there are gamblers that do it for fun and yet they are still in control. But that's just my opinion that they're having better control over themselves than those that do it for profits.
@everyone don't miss Duelbits clash of gods, it's until March 5 and there are still less than a week until the deadline.

Hope is not too late and hope I’m welcome here.
You're welcome here and it's for everybody to come here and we'll welcome all of you. And nope, you're not too late to buy bitcoin. It's been said that even like 5 years or more, many have said that they're also late in buying bitcoin.
But if you'll think of it right now, were they late in buying bitcoin back to those years when they said it? No, so just as you when going back to this date and realize the question you've brought up, you'll see that you're not.
