1161  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: September 19, 2023, 08:20:53 PM
yes, those golden times of giving away in Games and Round section.

also the Dueling that Duelbits started as a game promo ,  also some several casino that offers other bonus giving games.

but never that I partake in twitter , have you earn enough in the past mate?
As for me, I have never been lucky with those giveaways, especially the ones on their Twitter, and with all of those stuff and promo codes, they're quick to be gone. Some could have been bots waiting for those to be posted and then the rest are just lucky folks. Anyway, speaking of promos, they don't run out of it and someone who just wants to be part of it could just simply visit not just their Twitter account but also the promo page on their website.
1162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Let's share some tips among ourselves. on: September 19, 2023, 01:46:45 PM
What criteria do you use when buying and selling?
Very simple.

  • I buy when I've got spare money.
  • I sell when I need money.

That's the formula that I have been doing and after learning from my past mistakes. It made me better that I need to make sure that I am able to at least buy when I have spare money. The reason for that is to lessen my eating out and allocate that to investment and that's none other than Bitcoin.
1163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 19, 2023, 11:16:45 AM
Who's team do you think has the best advantage next season? I haven't seen the odds yet but I am expecting the Phoenix Suns and the defending champion Denver Nuggets to lead the bookies.
I've got a few on my mind. Denver Nuggets is still on my list but teams like the Golden State Warriors since there's CP3 and the potential of acquiring Dwight Howard as well as the rumor about Giannis wanting to go there. Who knows if the deal about Giannis could happen this season or there could be some special deal or clause that can happen between them and Bucks. Phoenix is also on my list. Actually, it's too early to say because this start is gonna be the intro of it and just like last season, there have been a lot of trades that have happened while the season was on going.
1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creating altcoin for business financing on: September 19, 2023, 09:57:58 AM
Hi, welcome to bitcointalk propeller. I understand the concept that you're thinking about releasing altcoin of yours for the funding of your business and in return, there's the value that you'll also project for those tokens. Honestly, this has been done for so many times in the past like during the ICO days. I don't recommend this anymore as the volatility will certainly hit the token especially if you put that in the exchanges. If there's a need for funding just release some bonds or get into crowdfunding by releasing stocks instead of altcoins.

Thanks for the advice to take a closer look at Crowdfunding. I didn't know about this kind of funding. Now I’ll read and look on the Internet. I agree that altcoins
do not have a stable exchange rate and are subject to volatility. I see that after listing the coin drops in value several times. I understand that many people want to get quick benefits and what this can lead to
to the impossibility of the further existence of the project.
I say again that I am new to this topic and I want to understand the possibilities of Internet commerce.
Crowdfunding has been known and was already been there even before crypto crowdfunding through ICO sales. And about the value of an altcoin dropping about being listed on an exchange is always the thing. There's always the big ones that are waiting for that to happen and won't care whose left behind as long as they profit as early as they can.

All I found on the Internet were Crowdfunding sites that allow you to finance non-commercial projects or
private small business. Mainly associated with handmade or production of piece goods. Their reward for funding is basically the right to receive the product for free.
I have not found a platform for financing business projects. If there is a specific site, please tell me.
I don't have any specific website on it because there are lots of them and I've done deals on my own and invested as an angel investor with little amounts before privately.
1165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Experience for new and old gambler? on: September 18, 2023, 02:47:49 PM
Do you think it is the same experience for a gambler who has practically experienced and been involved in gambling evolution since gambling was on the street side with personal belongings or money, to spaces and buildings for gambling with money, to gambling with money online, and now to gambling with cryptocurrency online with a gambler who has experienced a few or just one of the forms of gambling?
A totally different experience for those who have been in the gambling scene since the existence of street gambling until the online approach came. And it's even more different than of today because of the adoption of cryptocurrencies, we don't need to worry about the triggering notification that's going to tick us from the bank if ever we're going to deposit into a casino. Unlike before, there's always this notice and it's even a red flag to the banks that we're using.

whose addiction will be harder to break?
Addiction is addiction regardless of its form.
1166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free spins are also a demo in disguise? on: September 18, 2023, 12:20:12 PM
Free spins are for real, it's just that there could be an algo from the provider that winning there with huge amounts is likely less chance. But it's still giving a chance for those claimers to win some little amounts and that's much better than having nothing. Demos are completely free, nada winning and whether you win there, is worthless unlike in free spins. So, free spins aren't a disguise but just as the demos, they're good part of casinos marketing plans and attractions.
Yes the free spins that the casino gives at the time of sign up or whatever, are different from the demo where there are no withdrawals. We have to be realistic in this case, when making a deposit, big wins are also difficult to get, especially this free spin given by the casino, of course the chances are also smaller to get a big win.
To summarize, we can say that free spins are real while demos are not. We saw gamblers who are into free spins that have won with real money.

I agree with you that this is part of their marketing form to attract many users by giving free spins, and if we have been in the scope of gambling for a long time, this is certainly no longer something new for us.
That's always what it is. They need to get the attention of many gamblers and there is no doubt that these free spins are given, many are also going with the crowd there and flock them. It's an effective strategy that many casinos do and it's no longer a secret to keep.

1168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino features you like and Don't like but you don't mind on: September 17, 2023, 11:45:38 PM
We do really have our own ways of appreciating the casino that we're playing at. Some say the design, the security, the support, and other stuff. It does make sense to say all of it because those are important factors for someone to like and dislike. KYC is much the most disliked by the majority and also the few supported crypto. Aside from that, the slow in withdrawal process is also annoying when you just want to cash out but the casino delays it a lot.

1170  Other / Off-topic / Re: How has AI affected your job? Positively or negatively? on: September 17, 2023, 03:17:42 PM
1. Students now rely much on it for their assignments and it's almost difficult to engage the brain in constructive reasoning since AI can always come through for them
It's totally different from our era when all assignments should be researched in the libraries and then the era of the internet has come. But I think the only difference from that is we manually search on the web whilst with AI/GPT apps, it is quickly answering and filtering those.

2. It has affected the graphic space since you can just do an AI portrait, or simple graphics for yourself using the AI tool, and the graphics guy is technically not needed anymore.
Those graphic guys are still needed, they just have to adapt the situation and if there's an AI then there's also the navigator or controller of it.

3. The coding guys are not even left out and although it has its advantages in all these sectors I feel it also has done a huge damage in increasing the rate of laziness on the part of the youth.
Innovation isn't laziness and that's the first impression of what people see on it but if you're going to understand it. It's really innovation and that's what we have to adopt, the changes that are being carried by technology.
1171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is very safe coin because of good developers on: September 16, 2023, 10:35:40 PM
And luckily, it saves us from possible hacks, when hackers are prevented from detecting flaws faster because all flaws are removed before implementation.
We have seen so many hacks, where a flawed code was exploited and people lost money, like for Altcoin cross chain bridges recently or when Terra Luna failed.
Bitcoin's network is tight and strong but there's no 100% that's safe but at least it's strong and hackers that would like to do an attack will have a hard time doing it. And about hacking, we're on our own and that's why we need to check ourselves if we're doing the right thing in keeping our bitcoin.

Still, people are buying coins from unreliable coders like Tron from Justin Sun or even weaker DeFi coins like Acala Stablecoin from Polkadot’s supplier Web 3.
Unfortunately, some people will only learn after a loss.
You can't stop people from investing in different altcoins as that's what their conscience is telling them. They'll learn the hard way and those losses that they'll make is going to be their enrolment to become better.
1172  Economy / Economics / Re: Building wealth it's not just one time Luck on: September 16, 2023, 11:52:07 AM
I understand what you are trying to say. Relying on luck is like hoping to win the lottery (with impossible odds) to get rich. Yes, there are few people that get lucky and become rich over night, but the numbers are very few. Like 1 in a 100,000 people maybe. The rest actually ends up losing more when relying on luck to make money.
While there are rare and few people that have been lucky and became rich overnight. Those who have put in a lot of hard work and effort are the normal process of being wealthy and as long as both have made their own way through it legally, there's no question for both of them.

Look at how many people have lost their savings and almost everything when investing on some shitcoin hoping that it will go x1000 in few days. A lot! Consistent effort, smart choices, and understanding what you are doing and where you are investing is the key to building your wealth and yes.. a little luck.
True and those investors that have been putting all of their savings and finding for those types of altcoins to invest with, they're depending on luck. There are many of them that don't do their due diligence before entrust their money on those.
1173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some of country can offer you legal gambling in 2023! on: September 16, 2023, 09:55:39 AM
If they are less unethical, those countries that have approved gambling inside them see the benefits of it. While some countries became a hub of gambling for foreigners and visitors, they restricted their own citizens to do gambling. That's ethical for them as long as there's no way their citizens are taking part in it.
I don't think accepting gambling only for foreigners and forbid the local citizens can be said as ethical because it's not change anything. Imagine you're live in such country, you only need to find online casino that's not from your country, now you're become a gambler.

If someone think gambling is unethical, they need to completely ban gambling without any tolerance for making profit.
It may not change a thing but there really are those countries that prioritize their citizens and restrict them from banning. And that's why they've become a hub for most foreigners because they're treated very well as they put cash flow and money into that country while protecting their citizens from getting involved in gambling. If someone who lives in that country and wants to gamble, I am sure that there are some ways that they can do to find local gambling areas but that could be treated as illegal.
1174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some of country can offer you legal gambling in 2023! on: September 16, 2023, 08:06:46 AM

While some countries became a hub of gambling for foreigners and visitors, they restricted their own citizens to do gambling. That's ethical for them as long as there's no way their citizens are taking part in it. So, the policy they set for the tourists and their citizens varies. The point of view of someone who sees that a country is okay with the gambling industry will depend on his views and beliefs and if you think that there are morals that have been violated by them, that's what you think but it won't change the fact that they're doing business and sourcing out for tax.
1175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Behaviours of gamblers you dislike. on: September 15, 2023, 03:23:56 PM
It seems that the average gambler always complains about his losses and failures, while some of them will also keep quiet so that people don't embarrass them. Most gamblers feel proud of their wins, but honestly I don't like it when they don't appreciate their wins and don't stop after winning.
That's always the case, we're used to being proud of our winnings but very shy to share our losses and that's a normal thing. But what's toxic and annoying is when someone who keeps on losing tries to find his fault to the others. To the point that they'll mad without any reason but just want to release the frustration that they've got for that day and that's a behavior that I dislike and for sure that others will oblige and going to agree as well with that.
1176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ignore the new Apple toys & Invest in Bitcoin, history always repeat itself. on: September 15, 2023, 05:52:01 AM
Maybe I'll buy the next release of Apple for iPhone and MAC whenever Bitcoin hits more than $100k. In that sense, I think that I'll be able to afford it. But for now, I'll choose what's best and that's to hold and invest in Bitcoin. So, it's not just for those who don't have Bitcoin yet but also a reminder for the holders out there. But no one stops you if you want to spend those mBTCs that you've collected over time for you to get spent it to an apple or anything fancy that you don't really need. Gotta stick to my old android for now.  Cheesy
1177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker strategies on: September 15, 2023, 03:55:36 AM
That's for sure because it is a game that's being done with the use of our minds as well. And any strategy that you think will work and you'll be able to take advantage of your opponents through those said strategies, you'll have to adopt it. Whoever is the best on this mind game, those strategies are just like easy tricks that he can convert to his opponents on the other side of the table. And I think when you become better, you can apply that even in online poker but could experience some toughness in doing so.
The game is based on the gamblers betting and the mind make the decision of the betting amount and choice. The game is just like use your own strategies and you should use all the mistake made by your opponent on their terms. The terms is should be followed by both the players,if your opponent had skip any term.It will help to earn more money, but opportunity should be used wisely. If your friend had used one strategy, you should use the other strategy to over come in the game. The experience will play some additional benefit for sure,if your are more experienced to your opponent. So you had more opportunity to make a win.
You can also not use any strategy and just go with the flow, whatever is in your hand just follow the lead of it. If you're holding unwinning cards and you know that it has no chance to go with the other hands then just fold it. That's how it goes and if you think that you're in the mood and want to go all in with just a few cards down, then go with the risk. Actually, you can make your own strategies based on your mood and personality. The easier you do, the more enjoyment you'll get because each game for that table becomes more exciting.
1178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream coins or altcoins? on: September 15, 2023, 01:37:53 AM
Mainstream means the top coins, right? If that is so, the first choice that you should have is Bitcoin. I've learned my lesson the pretty hard way and that's what you need to set on your mind before you proceed with any other altcoins. And if it's just the typical altcoins that you're thinking of, you go ahead and check them first. Always apply the DYOR, if you need a buddy or two, be active in the forum and discuss just like what you've started from this thread. Don't also be too gullible when someone tells you that you'll earn tremendous times from investing into a certain altcoin.
1179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker strategies on: September 14, 2023, 09:58:18 PM
~snip~
Improving your poker habits doesn't only mean knowing rhe game more but also improvising what you have saw in it. Perhaps with poker, it was originally just being played as is but as time goe by card reading, bluffing, reading your opponents' reaction and such, were now being used to dominate opponents in this game.
That's for sure because it is a game that's being done with the use of our minds as well. And any strategy that you think will work and you'll be able to take advantage of your opponents through those said strategies, you'll have to adopt it. 1180  Economy / Economics / Re: If the global economy collapses what's the first thing you do? on: September 14, 2023, 06:27:21 PM
However, if the world economy is really falling apart, then I would prefer to invest in buying land. Because if the economy falls, people who have enough food will be the winners.
I thought that you were doing that because of the appreciating value of the lands/real estate but if that's your purpose then you're doing it for two purposes. For having the land and at the same time, you're going to use it for planting the herbs, vegetables, and everything that you need. I want to have that as well so that I can experience planting and I'm not asking for that much and that's why if the global economy collapses, owning one and doing that will also make me flee from the stress of it. So, I have to protect my peace and while doing that, I also have my own way of releasing the stress through planting.
