1181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker strategies on: September 14, 2023, 09:58:18 PM
~snip~
Improving your poker habits doesn't only mean knowing rhe game more but also improvising what you have saw in it. Perhaps with poker, it was originally just being played as is but as time goe by card reading, bluffing, reading your opponents' reaction and such, were now being used to dominate opponents in this game.
That's for sure because it is a game that's being done with the use of our minds as well. And any strategy that you think will work and you'll be able to take advantage of your opponents through those said strategies, you'll have to adopt it. Whoever is the best on this mind game, those strategies are just like easy tricks that he can convert to his opponents on the other side of the table. And I think when you become better, you can apply that even in online poker but could experience some toughness in doing so.
1182  Economy / Economics / Re: If the global economy collapses what's the first thing you do? on: September 14, 2023, 06:27:21 PM
However, if the world economy is really falling apart, then I would prefer to invest in buying land. Because if the economy falls, people who have enough food will be the winners.
I thought that you were doing that because of the appreciating value of the lands/real estate but if that's your purpose then you're doing it for two purposes. For having the land and at the same time, you're going to use it for planting the herbs, vegetables, and everything that you need. I want to have that as well so that I can experience planting and I'm not asking for that much and that's why if the global economy collapses, owning one and doing that will also make me flee from the stress of it. So, I have to protect my peace and while doing that, I also have my own way of releasing the stress through planting.
1183  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: September 14, 2023, 12:52:19 PM
Cost cutting is usually the reason for these slashes of their commission percentages and that can't be foreseen. But with such experience from the others, you are having the idea that it can happen elsewhere when you're expecting it. Another reason might be that some plan offers they're about to open.
It's obvious that when you are trying to run a business you have two options for bigger profit. Either you have to cut down on the costs, or you have to end up making business and obviously affiliate is a way to make the income go higher, and cutting the costs is something that will take time but could make it work one way or another.

I think it is obvious that we are not going to end up with a great return one way or another but it is going to be possible in any case. I just hope that people could see the situation and think that it is going to be a fine thing eventually. Duelbits is a great website that has been around for a long time and I think it will stay being around for many more years as well with things like these.
There is not a single doubt about that with Duelbits, they've been awesome as said for the commissions that they've given to the hard-working affiliates that they've got and hopefully, it is going to continue for more and more years to come. As long as they've got that program and there are affiliates that are working continuously on it, there's for sure that they're recognizing them and that's why those successful affiliates are wanting to stay.

1184  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you had AI day trade bitcoin to make profits on: September 14, 2023, 10:16:22 AM
If this is going to generate money easily, I'll find it very sketchy. Despite having the support of an AI, it's still a must to be knowledgeable about how to do it manually. But if someone proves that he's doing it, maybe there's a catch as that person should keep himself quiet and just enjoy what he's having. Anyway, are there really traders that are making their trades profitable with the use of AI? I don't quite understand how to do that since there are the features already from exchanges that allows you to trade with bots.
1185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker strategies on: September 13, 2023, 10:23:08 PM
To improve poker game. One must know the basics of how to play poker game. Study poker strategies, different hands in poker, probabilities. Practice reading opponents.
I agree with everything you said. Reading your opponents and how they react but this is hard when you're playing poker online but when you do this offline and you're in front of each other, you'll have to do the art of reading their reactions and faces as it will help you decide.

Alot of patience and clamness. It involves both skills psychological and risk management.
Together with reading them, you have to be patient and calm so that's right as well. You'll need to be patient as you wait for how they move and as you observe them whether they're like a bluff guy or a risk taker or just folds when they don't have a strong card.
1186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keeping or recovering seed phrases during or after a natural disaster. on: September 13, 2023, 07:07:16 PM
Even if you'll store it on cloud encrypted, that's still not a choice for me. The key here is to have multiple back ups, whether they're fire proof, water proof and something that you can bring wherever you are as much as handy as it is. I think in that case, a very handy accessory where you can store your keys without knowing other people that it is a seed phrase of yours. You'll have to make it look stylish that it won't be getting that much attention in the public but you know what it is and can bring it anywhere since you've got one somewhere in your house. I guess all of us have their own ways of keeping it but great that you've mentioned that ones that should be slash for one's choice.
1187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Australia will ban Gambling through credit cards on: September 13, 2023, 05:53:28 PM
How are they losing money from that if it's being placed with interest for the people to pay later on and based on the other article I've read it was on a legal form?
Aside from that, this is still a bill so it has to be passed on many readings and proceedings before it finally becomes a law. And if it becomes a law those who are noncompliant, with this is the fine that they'll have to pay.
Australia to ban credit card use in online gambling, non-compliers to face fines up to $150K
1188  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another reason and proof to keep funds in your wallet not in an exchange on: September 13, 2023, 04:48:13 PM
While there's already a thread about this news: Coinex hacked, $54M stolen
This is proven that people shouldn't keep their funds in exchanges but if you do, see to it that the amount you're keeping is an amount that you won't mind losing. Aside from hacking, people who are working for an exchange that has the ability to see details behind like how much they've got for their hot wallets can also be part of an inside job where they'll have no mercy to drain users fund.
1189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting Features on any Banking or Financial apps should be Removed on: September 12, 2023, 11:25:08 PM
It is for sure that there will be customers of theirs that will be curious what that feature is all about. Despite of able to read the actuality of that feature, the curiosity of many will still be clicked. Since there is a customer support section for all of the banks, yes, a demand to remove that feature can be done.
His curiosity will grow even bigger when he hears that someone has succeeded in winning a bet through his banking application, and he will try to prove it. But if he loses the bet, he will still try because he will become more curious. This can make someone who has never gambled start gambling using the betting features in their banking application.
IMO, that curiosity after ticking in and being filled and the result is losing is that's going to make that person stop for a while.

Well, they know what they're doing and they can blame the bank itself but this is just on their mind that's trying to find a fault in their banks. Because that will become a reason for them to continue to gamble since the app has got that feature whether it redirects them or allows to bet directly.
Of course, the bank will avoid this mistake on the pretext that they don't know anything because a third party made the application. That is the easiest answer from the banking sector because they don't want to be blamed for making people gamble through the betting feature in the banking application.
If it's added, there has to be some meeting before putting features into their app since they're a customer-facing business and an app like that should be approved by the boards first or whoever are the people that are tasked to design it.

This needs to be conveyed to the banking sector so they can remove the betting feature and avoid any victims.
Have to realize that if the government allows that, whether people like it or not, they have the control to their own app if that doesn't violate any law.
1190  Economy / Economics / Re: Save your environmental economic cycle on: September 12, 2023, 08:22:04 PM
It's a case-to-case basis, I think that there will be offers through online shopping that will help you to save more money like up to 70% or even 70% or more. Some may have a catch but there can also be no catch at all. Most of the people that I know buys their needs on a weekly basis and it's true that if there's a merchant near you, much better to go there if the price is good enough and competitive than the others that you like more but farther which will consume you more time, effort and money. This is like one of the sad times that it's like every week there's a news about another increase for the price of goods.
I personally also feel this way, namely that I feel I can save more by shopping through online shops. Because the goods offered are sometimes much cheaper than the prices of goods offered by traders near my place of work. It's just that it was some time ago. Because now traders in my area are also creating their own online shop accounts. And yes, the prices offered are not much different from other online stores. So buying from a trader near our house doesn't mean we have to come to a physical shop.
There can be some limitation on those offers but anyone is free to experiment and check it out if it's more helpful to shop online and they'll save more money instead of going with the nearest trader or merchant in their local area.

Because in reality the shops near my place of work also provide online services. Orders can even be delivered directly to our home or workplace.

Price increases have not stopped at this time. And just yesterday I was surprised by the increase in wheat prices in this area. In fact, the increase is quite high. I even thought about it when the trader said the price.
If they're doing that then that's much better because you're helping them and at the same time, you're getting services that's near you and soon who knows if they'll give discounts or slash to their margin to their known loyal customers.

We've got a lot of games today.

2 games left for now, I've been to pre occupied with FIBA and international games that I forgot to bet on dota2. Well the good thing is that, I would have bet on Nigma either way and they have lost 2 times so I would have lost alot of money betting on them so its all good for me

I think GG is going to win obviously they are GG and I chose to go with the draw on Secret vs TSM as Im not convinced that either of these teams are going to win hence the draw
It was an easy 2-0 for the GG against Beastcoast and also for Team Secret. So since this is a points system, the record that GG has which is 2 series wins and 1 draw makes them qualify and secures the top bracket. While the following teams have already been out for the BetBoom Dacha. It's ironic that it's own team name is already out this early.
  • BetBoom
  • Nigma Galaxy
1192  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holder are not maximizing the bitcoin potential on: September 12, 2023, 12:26:34 PM
It becomes an encouragement when you don't have much capital and all you wanna do is to trade and grow your money from there. But it's also needed to be understood that those long-term holders probably have taken their own share of experience of trying to hard and get some profit on the market. And the majority of them, well, include me so we didn't have good results at all when we tried. With that, it became a reason to just hold and be firm of being a long term investor because it's also a proven strategy that works for many.

I agree that holding is indeed one of the most profitable strategies, and I also send part of the deposit to a long-term hold. However, this strategy really works only with a fairly large capital, and such one that you can afford to invest and "forget" about for several years. This means that you cannot use this money even in critical situations, and for this you need to have additional savings for such cases.
It is true that holding is best when you've got a larger amount and you should have decided that it wouldn't be touched for a long time and as much as possible, you'll have to add more to see the greater impact of it when the bull run comes. Although there really is no rule if you're a long-term holder and there's all of a sudden that you need to sell what you're holding, we're all free to sell anytime unless you put that into some staking or inflexible savings. Yes, there are people who do this, and the worst part is it's on centralized exchanges.

Not everyone can do this. That is why those people are engaged in trading, which allows them to get, albeit smaller, but faster profits. In addition, these funds can always be withdrawn, if they are badly needed, without destroying the entire strategy.
One thing that I am worried about that is many are losing instead of winning there. However that I cannot judge someone's winners and losers but if we're going to reiterate, then it's good that there have been those consistent winners.
1193  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holder are not maximizing the bitcoin potential on: September 11, 2023, 04:05:24 PM
Sometimes there is no choice, really. You only have one shot, because your investments are not as big, as you wish. That is why you have to take risk and sell in hope to buy again at a lower price. But I believe some people really can win in such situation, because they would take more careful and rational steps, because they know they don't have a right for making mistakes. And they will be more prudent than those who can afford themselves to buy again if they have lost previous investment.
It becomes an encouragement when you don't have much capital and all you wanna do is to trade and grow your money from there. But it's also needed to be understood that those long-term holders probably have taken their own share of experience of trying to hard and get some profit on the market. 1194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting Features on any Banking or Financial apps should be Removed on: September 11, 2023, 01:18:22 PM
If there are customers who cannot control themselves from their curiosity, they will continue gambling because they already have the betting feature in their banking application. Indeed, this depends on the responsibilities of each customer.
Well, they know what they're doing and they can blame the bank itself but this is just on their mind that's trying to find a fault in their banks. Because that will become a reason for them to continue to gamble since the app has got that feature whether it redirects them or allows to bet directly.

It's bullsh*t to point out that this betting feature on the banking apps will give gamblers more eagerness to gamble.
It's not bs, the area where it's been placed is inappropriate. It's like when you're trying to leave for a while and stop but suddenly, it's not even that long until you see that feature is even on your banking app. But I guess, just as you've said, to each their own.

Prior to this betting feature at some banking applications, just looked at how online gambling evolves and attracts more users as years progress and it will grow even more. There's no stopping it but only a total gambling ban globally which is far from reality. Even if these banking apps will remove that feature, will it really minimize gambling activity? It's a clear no.

The bank can put their desired feature on their app as long as it is allowed by the law. They won't adjust just to the problem of a growing number of gamblers. Why should they? People are the problem, not the bank feature, and not the "gambling" itself.
You've got the point. Yeah, they can put that and it's all just for our opinion and it's like telling the smokers that probably have trying to quit and smoke again. Anyway, it's just like a typical ad but on this one, it's on a banking and it's a feature. It's both on fault, gamblers that can't help themselves mainly.

Since there is not that match action in Dota 2. You may want to follow the Malta Vibes #3[1] which has some matches that are happening for this day. There's a trending player now from Russia who's named Satanic. Lol, what a name but that guy is still a kid and he's a child prodigy. He's playing in this tournament together with other American players under the banner of 4 Zoomers and with Taiga. They have a match later under 3 hours from now.
[1] https://liquipedia.net/dota2/Pinnacle_Cup/Malta_Vibes/3

I am seeing his name in some Youtube videos and found out he is in 12k MMR and just 15 years old. I also read on Reddit that he gained 4k MMR in just under a year. That is an insane improvement. It will be lucky for the team that will sign him in the future. Hopefully we will see him on a team that can nurture and guide a talent like him.
Truly insane and that's why he's getting the spotlight from content creators. Maybe there's some good future for him and he needs more exposure and experience in the pro scene. It's good that he's got already some experience teammates and from them, he'll get to learn as long as he's willing to learn and taught.

Those who are looking for DOTA action while waiting for TI next month, you can watch and bet on BetBoom Dacha. BetBoom Dacha is an offline Armenian tournament organized by FISSURE and BetBoom Esports. The total prize pool is $250K. Today is the second day of the group stage so there are still plenty of DOTA matches you can bet on.

Here is my bet for today's matches.

Good luck with these bets, so far there's already 1 win from 9Pandas against Nigma Galaxy. We've got a lot of games today.

They do but they shouldn't be there in the first place even if they're not allowing you to bet directly. But one thing is that, they're allowing you to deposit through them and likely partnered with that casino.
Banks should not add this betting feature to their banking applications because it will trigger curiosity in their customers, so they will try to deposit money in their accounts. Indeed, customers cannot blame what the bank did, but at least they can complain to the bank so that the bank can remove the betting feature from their application.

In terms of ROI, altcoins is the best. But in terms of better risk, I will go for Bitcoin. If you're really afraid of staking altcoins, you can do Ethereum. This is the most safest altcoin to stake, and next to Bitcoin.
I wouldn't generalize the altcoins to be the best in ROI but there's no doubt that there have been plenty of them that really have maxed out the profits and gave ROI to many of its investors. In terms of stability, there is no doubt that Bitcoin is the top choice and it's also one of the best in ROI especially if you've bought it on the early days. I think I understand people nowadays when they don't put bitcoin as their main choice because of it having a slow growth because of its high price now. But we'll see after the halving on how many times it will grow.

It just goes against their main principle of helping people to save and to be more knowledgeable about finance. I mean yeah, we're gamblers and we advertise casinos but something like this shouldn't happen. They're the bank and should stay as is, and with the service they offer to the people. That's not the right platform to add as something that's permanent on their app. A background check for that bank must be made by its central bank if it's allowed or not.
After the discussion I checked my bank app to see that feature and try to use it,  but I find out that,  you can only found your betting account from the app and not being able to place a bet directly on those bank apps.
Well, that's too much if that banking app will allow you to place bets directly from them. They'll have to redirect their customers and users to the actual casino.

I think,  those bank are just serving as payment gateways for those casinos and that is still within the services of the bank so no one can really blame them for that.
They do but they shouldn't be there in the first place even if they're not allowing you to bet directly. But one thing is that, they're allowing you to deposit through them and likely partnered with that casino.
