I don't really know why people are all of a sudden discussing about Haaland potentially leaving City some years from now, it could prolly be because of his dad's comments a few days ago, but that wasn't a direct statement to indicate that Haaland won't be staying at City too long. I fully agree.... In just over two months at Manchester City, Erling Haaland has already racked up many goals so that he has numbers above several other world football stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. Haaland is scoring a lot of goals at an astonishing pace. I've been researching the data here so I don't get it wrong, and he scored no less than 17 goals in the first 11 games this season... I think Haaland at city is much better than he was at Borussia Dortmund or Salzburg. He is a player who is certainly already starting to go down in football history. And Man City is trying to emerge to become an elite club in the level of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern. It's not quite there yet but within 20 years it would prolly have racked up enough trophies and write its own accolades in the history books. The criticisms that they're a money club is true, but how can a club really excel in modern football in the current transfer market the we have without spending too much money? It's impossible. And if anything, City has spend their money smarter as of late than clubs like United and Barca.

This is what I think is gonna happen... Right now looking at the odds, I think there's some value on Oliveira. We have talked about it before, the match could be closer than what the lines suggest as Makhachev hasn't really fought an elite grappler like Oliveira. The best grappler he's fought in the last couple of years, if not the only decent grappler he's fought is Thiago Moises.
Yeah, and with all due respect to Thiago, but he's not been the best as of recent, despite picking up some wins. I do think Oliveria is going to sub him, I think that'll ultimately be the biggest kick in the teeth. I'm quite impressed that Dana has made this match up so soon, because it's definitely a risk to one of his prospects being derailed. I don't understand why Charles gets disrespected so much. He's seriously dangerous on the mat, probably as dangerous as they come. Obviously, Charles isn't the best defensively on the feet, and that could be a problem. However, from what I've seen from Makhachev, I don't think he'll be outclassed. Moises is in a two fight skid, but you can't really blame the guy for losing vs Makhachev. He lasted til R4 before getting subbed. That's still a good look imho. But the loss vs Alvarez is bad. It kinda raised Alvarez's stock and I thought he could win as an underdog vs Tsarukyan... Nope. Lol. As for Oliviera not good defensively, it's prolly not that but the style he's trying to play. He gets one to give one and sometimes it just looks like it's reckless abandon. Even if it is reckless abandon, it's what makes him an exciting fighter tho.

The Japanese Grand Prix is at this weekend. I'm excited about this race because it wasn't held in 2020 and 2021. Bottas is still retaining his achievement as he won the last race in 2019. It is almost impossible to repeat this with Alfa Romeo now though. Anyway if we don't see heavy conditions again then I think Verstappen is already very close to getting his first ever victory in Suzuka. There is no way any other driver competing with him at the same level under normal conditions now. However if we see heavy rain then this race would be much more difficult for Verstappen also. It is already not an easy track and it would add an extra difficulty to the situation. I'm curious about RedBull's motivation at the Japanese Grand Prix. Helmut Marko has indicated that he would like to see Verstappen win the world championship title in Japan, for the engine partner Honda that could be make Honda happy . The deal with Porsche has apparently fallen through and RedBull wants to have engine partner Honda on board for longer. https://www.speedweek.com/formel1/news/198851/Helmut-Marko-zum-WM-Titel-Besser-waerE28099s-in-Japan.htmlThe weather in Suzuka is still very difficult to predict. I don't think Honda really has a choice but to leave after their partnership with Red Bull ends. Even if they really wanted to stay, Honda doesn't really have the resources to work on the new specs for the new engine change on 2026. They were set to leave F1 this season but the engine change was moved to 2026 encouraging them to stay til end of 2025 season. And it looks like there's gonna be some rain... Drivers who are fast on wet tracks are Hamilton, Alonso and Verstappen but with the track having lots of turns and corners I think Sainz could be a surprise here.

I'm not only predicting a Oliveria win, but I'm hoping for one. I've found Makachev a little boring at times, and I don't know I'm just not a massive fan of him. I think he gets hyped up due to the people around him, instead of because of his ability. Don't get me wrong, a great fighter. I just don't think he'll ever be a great, which at the moment he's being portrayed as.
I find him a more boring version of Chimaev. Obviously, not as controversial as him at the moment, but hyped up until he goes against real opposition which will ask questions, which I do believe this fight will, a bit like the Burns fight with Chimaev.
I'm hoping Charles can get a submission win, after out pointing him on the feet.
This is what I think is gonna happen... Right now looking at the odds, I think there's some value on Oliveira. We have talked about it before, the match could be closer than what the lines suggest as Makhachev hasn't really fought an elite grappler like Oliveira. Check it out here... https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/fighters/40148-islam-makhachevBut then again this is Khabib's cousin and could be someone who is like Khabib who could make the fight look like he's supposed to be a 1.10 favorite.

Inter have done a great job so far and ended the first half 1-0 ahead thanks to Calhanoglu's nice goal. Actually Barcelona had more dangerous attacks than them and they were in control of the match in terms of ball possession. However Inter showed us that this wasn't the most important thing in football.
However I still don't think that Inter can win here. Barcelona's performance wasn't so different from them as I said. I expect them to improve their performance even more in the second half and equalize the score as soon as possible. But it looks like they have a really difficult job as for getting a win. Inter are surprising us a lot after their poor defensive performance against Roma the last time. I wasn't expecting them to stay this much solid. Maybe Inzaghi found out a way to be more prepared for the Champions League.
^ I wouldn't say 'they couldn't win here' unless it's a club like the Rangers or Viktoria Plzen. Lol. They format of the UCL is more of a tourney format. Once a club goes through the group stages and on to the KO stages, they def have a chance of winning it. And it's Inter. A club that knows how to win and with somewhat of a history. And showing that they could go against a better club in Barca and win the match? That's a good sign. It shows heart and show what their mentality is like.

^ I think even with the rain, Verstappen is going to win it. They're going to finish it and wrap it up. Red Bull is just too good as a team with the best driver on the track. Verstappen is a generational talent. Kinda like a Messi or a Ronaldo in football.
There isn't any value in his line tho. The books have him at 1.50 to win it. He was 1.40 to win in Singapore before quali and he was close to having it if he finished his possible pole taking lap if not for the fuel blunder. The race obv would've been different if he got pole position.

Does anyone know the reason why Man U are not starting or even playing Ronaldo? Is it some sort of power play cos Ronnie has been a dram queen or was trying to the run the squad himself, or is it just because of the transfer drama and him obviously not wanting to be there? Either way, not bringing him on at half time when you're 4-0 down is silly. If anyone could have turned that game around it was him.
Statements from manager are logical and maybe even actual truth but you never know if it is the state of things or just power plays. He said that Ronaldo is not in first 11 because he missed pre season and isn't in peak form yet. When asked why he did not bring him in later on he answered something like "Ronaldo is one of the greats of this sport and I did not want to bring him in the game which was already lost". It's time for Ten Hagu to worry not about Ronaldo, but about himself - with such results, he will be thrown out of the club very quickly. I don't think he was taken to the club with the condition that United could hang around in the 6th-7th place and get humiliating defeats from time to time (a complete repetition of last season). A few (largely accidental) victories seem to have given Ten Hag the audacity to continue to ignore Ronaldo - the problem is that United still play badly. The tension from the fans is already high, if the management is also unhappy, then soon Ten Hag will have to pack his things. But Ronaldo actually has become a liability tactically. Ten Hag has to change how the squad plays when Ronaldo is up there spear heading the attack because he doesn't do much when they don't have the ball. It ends with a couple of guys being forced to be out if position to make up for it. United just needs to rebuild from scratch. Something they should've done after Ferguson left almost 10 years ago. Damn.. It's been almost a decade now. Lol. Maybe they're due for a resurgence in a couple of years.

Nono, this event is actually really good for a Fight Night, non PPV event. Some good match ups in here imho. I'm liking Jonathan Martinez vs Cub Swanson, Askar Askarov vs Brandon Royval, Magny vs Daniel Rodriguez, Melsik Baghdasaryan vs Joanderson Brito, Nick Maximov vs Jacob Malkoun and the banger of bangers Dusko Todorovic vs Jordan Wright! Bet on the under for that one for sure. The main event is just ok but I'm pretty sure there's like a couple of people itt drooling over Alexa Grasso. I really thought that Cub Swanson was never going to fight anymore but seeing this fight I was kind of OK at 1st but then I realize that this is Swanson the guy that lost to Giga Chikadze, but I think he is back for more, Askar Askarov VS Brandon Royval is another great fight as well I have just forgotten to mention, Well, that Fighting Kitty Alexa Grasso is one hot chick and you can say that we are drooling to gaze at her fighting inside the octagon, but for us it is a treat to watch her winning it as well, Yeah.. And it's also the way he lost vs Chikadze. Chikadze made Swanson look like an old man in the cage. Wait... He is an old man. Lol. But against Martinez, dunno. The guy is chinny. I think Swanson is a live dog in this spot. Would I bet it? Nope. Do I like the spot enough to pick Swanson in my lottery ticket? I'd prolly place it near the lowest tier, if not at the lowest. Anyway, was browsing UFC's YT channel and found these. I think Oliviera both on the ground and at stand up could be a handful for Makhachev. This race was the biggest opportunity for Leclerc to win. He was very close to taking the lead after DRS was active finally after a long time passed. But Leclerc started to have a serious problem on keeping the car stable and lost a lot of time in the meantime. After Perez was ordered by the team to push more he opened a huge gap in a short time. Even the time penalty didn't save Leclerc from finishing in the second place.
Perez has been really impressive in street races this season. After winning in Monaco GP this is another win in a street race. Maybe things would have been way different if it didn't rain heavily but I'm not underestimating his win by saying this of course. They all raced under the same conditions in the end.
Yup but the Red Bulls are just fast in the straights. Newey out did himself with these cars with the new specs. Binnoto too. He also built a great car from scratch but prolly needs more tweaks and development under the new specs to out do Red Bull. Maybe next year... Hopefully. It would really be boring if Red Bull dominates next season. Which I think there's a high possibility they might. And for the Singapore GP, for a race with lots of incidents it was kinda boring.

Anybody watching the match? Man U fans are leaving and they are mad.
Yeah I was watching the match and enjoying every minute of it. It is not that I am City supporter I just like to see good football. I expected City to win easy but and United to score a goal so, I also banked a nice ticket. Must say I did not expect City to score 6. This is Haaland 3rd hat trick and he needed 8 games to get to that number. Record was held by Micheal Owen, he needed 40+ games to do the same. That is one of the stats that perfectly show Haaland dominance in the league. When I remember that I thought he will have rough start and that Kane is safer option in fantasy Nice. I had City to win and under 4.5 combo at 1.92. I kinda thought United getting a goal in would be doubtful. Lol. But yeah.. You win some, you lose some. Anyway, what do you think of the Arsenal vs Liverpool match. Seems like it's another good one for BTTS and over 2.5 combo. The line is decent too, it's at 1.88 the last time I checked at Stake. You prolly could get it over 1.90 at Sportsbet with their line boosts.

^ Yup... With Dern an elite grappler, you could say Yan defended reaaally good. And she had more than a couple of spots when she really got in trouble too. All her training with Team Alpha Male with Faber and the rest of those guys are paying dividends for Yan. So yeah, I guess she'll be going next for the title after Zhang Weili. It's gonna be an all Chinese match up if Zhang Weili wins.
Anyway, it's going to be another weekend without the UFC. :/

Good one for Leclerc. I for one have always found myself rooting for him. He's a good driver, even Vettel said so and he respects Leclerc. It's frustrating to watch him suffer from his team's idiotic calls sometimes. But don't lose hope if you're a Ferrari fan. Good things will come as Binotto is a good builder of cars.
