what to happened to your prices? they were very competitive and you made uncompetitve at all? from 1080 to 1440(without psu and controller) Huh not ordering now

You can see here that Canaan raised the price, so it affects distributor prices ofc as well. https://canaan.io/product/avalonminer-741/
2182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: December 04, 2017, 03:27:54 PM
I'm paying 318euro for one AntMiner D3 send to Ireland in UPS Delivery  customs duties -  its normal??

Yes it is normal.

You need to pay the value-additional tax when you import a miner from China to Ireland.

Bitmain only sent me AntMiner D3 but without APW3 ++, November Batch power supply.
It was meant to be send by 21-30 Nov but it still hasn`t been shipped.
But status on this order APW3 ++, November Batch  is: Paid Shipping Valid
Does anyone have similar experience?
I`ve tried to contact them but they never responde.
Yes, Bitmain has lately had a lot of issues delivering the psu in the same time as miners. There have been several cases reported here at the forum.

Temps are good IMO and it is working stable at about 11.6 Th/s hash rate.

Temps are about 80 to 85 Celsius.

No issues so far.

So how about the temperature when you running this machine?
See the status page screenshot in the opening post.

Hello everyone,

I see that there have been some people that have ordered the S9. Are you ordering directly from bitmain? Has anyone made a successful order? I want to buy 4 of them but I am unsure of how long it will take and if I can trust bitmain. They look legit I was just wondering what your experiences have been. Thank you

Yes, Bitmain is legit.

They are the current market leader in the ASIC hardware manufacturing.

Well, you're not answering the "if I can trust bitmain" part Smiley

I've always received hardware from them without issues.

Also there are lots of pages discussion in this thread already.

Please do little reading so that we don't have to go through the most simplest things over and over and over again.

And how much customs you pay if you send it to yourself in Austria?

edit: Oh If I understand, customs are 0% in EU?!

Yes.

He explained everything already in the post above.
He explained it all very clear. Read it patiently.

Bitmain says they sent it, Fedex says they never received it. Nice limbo..

All that says is label has been created. As in someome printed it at Bitmain. Hasn't left warehouse yet

Maybe it could've ended up delivered with another shipping label after all?

And would had therefore a different tracking number.

Have to call Fedex about that. Thanks for the tip.

You can also try to insert your Bitmain order ID as a reference number in the Fedex tracking and see if you get results.
https://www.fedex.com/apps/fedextrack/?action=altref

I currently have my latest Bitmain order in the delivery via UPS.
I have been able to follow it by using the order ID as a reference number in the UPS tracking service.
2189  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Pangolinminer & Whatsminer FAQs on: December 03, 2017, 09:21:40 PM
Just wanted to ask if what is flat rate why its asking for payment.. they have a 2 option either local pickup or flat rate.
What honestly does it mean.. if i wanted to order and send the unit here in my country and choose local pickup is ok?

Local pickup means that you go to China and pick it up.
Not very good option, unless you are in China too.

Flat rate means that it is the same price to every location in the specific country.
For example 80 USD delivered to anywhere in Finland. West coast, south, east, anywhere.

Greetings all,

I am newly registered in this forum. Been in reddit and twitter and actively engaged in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency since last July.

If anybody is thinking of selling their used-functional ASIC miners because they want to upgrade or else, included the WhatsMiner M3 that are being discussed here, please let me know. My friend and I would like to setup a small mining farm operation. We are located in Texas, US.

I am sorry if this thread is not the correct place to post this. It would be appreciated if you can redirect me to the right thread to post this inquiry.

Thanks and regards,

I would suggest you start a want to buy (= [WTB] ) -thread in the forum marketplace.

Here is the link to the right section, computer hardware: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=75.0
2192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer D3 power cord melt on: December 03, 2017, 05:52:35 PM
You have most likely used a bad quality power cord with not enough thick wires and therefore not enough amp rating.

I would advice you to find at least 10 amp rating and 3x1.0mm2 thick wires power cord.
2193  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Bitmain Antminer S11 releasing! on: December 03, 2017, 05:29:50 PM
Yeah and this whole thread has been quite useless so far.

Nothing real information with real sources on the subject ("Bitmain Antminer S11") that would give anyone anything.

Just a waste of everybody's time.
2194  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: miineshop - is it legit? on: December 03, 2017, 05:03:09 PM
No, the escrow here at the forum is usually done with Bitcoin or with other cryptos.
2195  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Bitmain Antminer S11 releasing! on: December 03, 2017, 04:10:20 PM

If that announcement would be real, I would have already heard it from Steven Mosher of Canaan Creative.  Wink

You really need to have more proof if you want anybody with brains to believe you.

How to get on the email list from Steven Mosher of Canaan Creative?

Be patient, please.

Steven has said that they will announce the new hardware soon.

thank you for reply, how about electricity watts per month?

Well if the consumption is roughly about 2.2kW from the wall, you can calculate it from there.

One day--> 24h*2.2kW = 52.8kWh
One month (30 days)--> 30*52.8kWh = 1584kWh

Anyone willing to explain how escrow works?  I would search it, but as a newbie I have very limited access to posting/searching.
Is it basically a trusted 3rd party who holds the BTC until the goods have been received?

Yes.

Philipma1957 and OgNasty are for example trusted forum members here, who have done lots of escrows.

Right now we offer only standard GLS. Express is very expensive and not much faster in europe. We are looking for a cheaper method for our customers.
Maybe you could integrate a service to your webshop, which would offer few different shipping options?

When I sell my hardware here at the forum marketplace, I pretty much always use this website called www.shipit.fi

You can go and see their website as an example. They offer few different options for both domestic (here in Finland) and international shipments.
Shipit.fi can be integrated with few different webshop platforms like Magento 2, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Procart.

So if something like this service is available in Austria, it would be a great asset to you.  Smiley

Indeed that is missing. A micro usb cable and a 5V atleast 1.5A power adapter would work.  Canaan ships the controllers without power supply. Most people have those things at home, but we will put a reminder in the product description now.

For the Set you will need:

1) PC power cable
2) Micro usb cable and a 5V 2A adapter. (1.5A may be not enough)
Raspberry Pi Foundation recommends a 5VDC 2.5A adapter for the Raspberry Pi 3, which is inside the Canaan metal case.

Be careful.

It doesn't seem to be so trustworthy website in my opinion..
