2201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 06, 2021, 08:32:40 PM
I really don't know what they are trying to do,
because what are you going to do with the board if you don't have players to play?
What if the players get some sort of health issue because of this tour and what if the situation gets worse as this is a contagious virus?
What would they do then to save their players?
Where the money would come in the future if you don't have your players?
Sure you can follow that health and safety guidelines but it's not necessary that everyone will also follow that.
The Indian cricketers are currently laying a golden eggs for the BCCI, but they are not caring them like they need to do because in current situation sending them to South Africa is the biggest threat to their lives as covid new version having bad impact, and it's already arrived in India recently. Even situation is some better in Australia, so they can play test matches against England but going to South Africa in presence of this biggest threat is totally political or personal agenda not related to cricket or any other thing.

Here, BCCI giving impression they never drop alone their friends even they can scarify their players for this all and mostly Indian players are not brave enough like Aussies or Kiwis that they announce personally they are not available for this tour due to this serious threat.
2202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 06, 2021, 06:12:22 PM
the craze for cricket in all the countries of indian subcontinent is huge. Not only in India but in Bangladesh and pakistan it is huge just india has more population more media coverage and more money we only hear about india but fans of Bangladesh are more crazy than indian I believe.
Sad to see teams like Zimbabwe specially who were once a very competitive side in the past but now ICC banned them and we dont see them in ICC tournaments.
Domestic issues killing cricket in many countries like West Indies, South Africa and Zimbabwe because these related to their local leadership and ICC or any international institute can't do anything which is really hurting this game of cricket very badly recently, Sometime back Sri Lanka was also facing some problems, but now they are doing much better and having some better players through their talent hunt programs Bangladesh is also improving even it's not as its basic need still doing some good Afghanistan facing some serious dilemma because of security issue at their home and playing cricket in the UAE.

Overall cricket is in not good shape due to lack of leadership which can bring some better reforms and having better future for countries those are really serious to spread this.
2203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: December 06, 2021, 07:02:56 AM
Until now, situation is not clear because we have to watch last round matches about this all as few teams are coming from Champions League and these also having something to cheer for this season and most chances any team from Champions League having good run for win this year's Europa League title because like Dortmund already announces about this but if we have team like Barcelona or Porto this is going to be more interesting because these heavy waits have good squads for this title.

We have some good teams from France and England already West Ham form is also very crucial and Napoli is now losing in Italian League very badly, so they also can go through for Europa title now.
This is why I was a little bit surprised that the Dortmund Bosses said the Europa League title is the definite goal. I would just not put so much pressure on my players without any need for that. It probably happened because they were still emotional after losing all chances to make it to the final CL round.
Dortmund is currently at second spot in Bundesliga, and they are doing very good their start in Champions League was also very good but sadly after due to some players injuries they drop out very badly and now exit from Champions League is hurting very badly to management and fans just because of this they announce like this even they can quality for Champions League without any serious trouble but now having trophy under their belt is main reason behind this announcement from management.

But, currently it's not easy because now after few days all will be clear who is coming from Champions League into Europa League and who is going out of this European legit competition because now race is very hot for all and which team will play better win this year's title.
2204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: December 05, 2021, 09:39:29 PM
If this wasn't a street track then I would guess that there would be a chance Verstappen could still win, but this situation changes things. F2 shown us that there could be drivers overtaking each other, and even with a gearbox change he will have some people he could pass, but I highly doubt that Max will be able to pass Mercedes on this track. If he got the pole position then he could have reached the end by just defending smartly, it is quite possible to do that but now the same chance will be at the hands of Mercedes.

Unless Bottas makes a big mistake again, he will be capable of holding Max long enough to give Hamilton clear 7-8 seconds at least, and that is just Bottas, imagine all the other people, so I am not entirely sure. I hope his gearbox is safe and he can finish the race, otherwise it is going to be very sad to see him retire which will 99% means he will lose the championship on technical issues instead of racing.
2205  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat banks and the government. on: December 05, 2021, 08:52:11 PM
Banks operate on the basis of the Law on Banking and Banking Activities and numerous regulations of the country's central bank. Bank employees do not have the right to be arbitrary and must strictly follow the instructions and orders of the central bank. Only clearly illegal decisions can be challenged in the manner prescribed by law. Therefore, bank employees may have their own opinion on some issue, but they are obliged to comply with laws, legal orders of the central bank.
It is a black and white dilemma basically. Banks would love to have zero regulations, and would be able to pay everyone a whole lot more money if that was the case, the less government interference there is, the more money they could make. There are good things that come with it of course, like all of us as customers making a ton of money, a lot more than what we are making and could even become rich.

However, it is obvious that if they do this, then the risks would be insane and we would be losing a ton of money instead of making money and that is the risk we would be taking, plus if we do not want government to meddle, then when banks collapse then government should not help neither, if they can't regulate it then they should not save it neither. All in all regulations are there to prevent a bad thing to happen, and yet it still does even with regulations.
2206  Economy / Economics / Re: No where is actually safe on: December 04, 2021, 09:32:37 PM
If people were looking at something safe I am pretty sure they wouldn't put all of their money into some "code". I know that there is much more to bitcoin and all of crypto then just being a code, but the reality is that we are literally talking about trusting more to Satoshi's code then we trust government backed banks. That should tell you enough about how little we trust banks, the whole reason why bitcoin even has any value is because banks and fiat monetary world we live in is discouraging for people who are not wealthy already.

Definitely, you may not become as rich as Elon Musk, but all of the people who are at the for best top list right now are people who had families with money. Crypto gives people who came from nothing to have a chance, and that is why we are putting so much trust into it. Is it risky? Yes of course it is but it is surely much more equal in risk to everyone.
Could be a "code" in its core but people are not investing into that code, they are investing into an idea that supports that code. Bitcoin is a currency that is as far away from governments and banks as possible. This is why we invest and use it because at the very least people know that they are actually investing into something that can't be meddled with for the benefit of some people.

Corrupted nations consider it as the greatest thing ever, in corrupted nations many powerful people do whatever they can to make as much profit as they can which results with citizens getting poorer and poorer whereas rich people keep getting richer. Maybe someone from UK could not understand the value of the idea behind crypto, which I am sure some do, but there are whole nations who understand the benefits of bitcoin and what it stands for.
2207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHEN DO YOU BUY BITCOIN? on: December 04, 2021, 05:53:23 PM
I've never bought bitcoins because I don't have enough money to buy one bitcoin. I'm currently trying to raise money to buy bitcoins, hopefully my money will be collected quickly to buy bitcoins.
Yeah, I get this kind of difficult situation where you would want to invest your money in cryptocurrency, but for the fact that you have other problems that you have to solve, you end up not being able to raise up funds for you to invest. I used to be in that kind of situation, and I kept missing a lot of opportunities, until one day I decided to open a target savings account: where I can save money and not have access to it until the period I have set. Sometimes about three months or so, and I strictly saved the money, although it wasn’t easy.

After sometime I was able to raise up a good amount and then I had to still wait for the right time for me to invest that money. Luckily I did invest at the right time and it worked for me. I’m really happy that I did. So, I’d advise you to take calculated risk, and make sure that you’re investing your cryptocurrency at the right time.
2208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The altcoin market has become scammer's playground on: December 03, 2021, 09:35:51 PM
There are many others as well. It is a money laundering heaven. Don't you think such gold rush has to stop at some point. Otherwise cryptos will never be able to make its way into the mainstream world. People are buying from craps to garbages in the name of cryptos.
There is nothing that you can do in crypto to stop these people. If it was that easy to stop scammers then we would have done that long time ago. It is obvious that people are not really worried about the current situation, only because decentralization brings this part of the deal with it as well.

There is no figure that could reverse your situation and that means we are going to just have to face the fact that we are doing nothing wrong and it is the people who do the wrong thing that should be ashamed and our only job is to not fall victim. If you try to stop them, then you are going to end up working for nothing and will end up with nothing.
2209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any easier way to get coins and tokens on their day one launch? on: December 03, 2021, 08:14:21 PM
To all crypto investors out there is there any way to get information on projects before they list on even coinmarketcap and coingecko most especially projects with fair launch, I believe this way one will easily become one of the early investors rather than investing after the coins have surge
I don't think how important if you are becoming an early investor compared to investing into a right project. Do not deceived by what they do call "fair launch". Not all the project are sharing all their facts and information to investors which means there are lots of hidden things with every projects and if you go by dev's word then you may bite dust sooner or later. For this reason and simply avoid investing with new projects.

When you are investing with old and highly reputed/ trusted coins then you are eliminating all the risks elaborated above. Still, you could enjoy big returns for your investment with old coins because the profit hitting ratio with new project is very very low.
2210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it good to penalize airdrop hunters? on: December 03, 2021, 06:35:09 PM
Do you think it's a good idea to penalize airdrop hunters? Will this do more harm or good to the adoption of crypto/Blockchain tech?
I would imagine "people who chase free money" could get mad as much as they want to and it would not hurt crypto as a general market. I mean sure it would hurt that token or that project and that is expected and they are aware of it when they do it as well. However that will not change anything in crypto as a whole.

Crypto could go up or down based on people buying and selling, the more money you have the more you can change the direction of crypto, if we are talking about people who are chasing free money then I doubt that we could actually end up with anything that would matter since they obviously do not have too much money. If they had so much money to matter and care, then they wouldn't be chasing for free money and since rich people do not care about 5 bucks free given, then I doubt that even that project could be impacted all too harshly.
2211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safety on: December 03, 2021, 12:46:21 PM
I have read several times on this forum where people said human error is what lead to vulnerability to attack but I read that air gap computer was recommended several time on this forum is not that secure while  Malwarebytes was also said to work base on how it was programmed, that is also not that secure and I believe in the next 5-10years Bitcoin price will reach 6digit and after this happens crypto holders will be the major target of online theft.

As a preparation for what may happen now and in the future, what are the 0% error/100% step a crypto holder or investors need to follow to avoid been expose or securely save his investment from attackers?
Bitcoin owners are already being targeted online by hackers, and it has been happening from time. So, I don’t think there would be any difference from what is happening and what would happen then. It’s still falls down to people being careful with how they store and make use of their cryptocurrency and wallets, because if you’re the type that is always leaving traces online that would make it easy for hackers to access your wallet, then it’s going to be a serious issue for you, as they would have their way with everything you have in your wallet.

People should learn to not give out information about themselves that would make it easy for hackers to access their wallets, such as their email and the rest of them.
2212  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My newbie trading experience on: December 03, 2021, 12:31:42 PM
Sometime early January 2021 I started my trading journey without anyone putting me through, I study the market movement of a particular token and analyze its weekly price volatility.
I started trading with $200 and within a month I made $450 including my capital. Since then I suffered a loss and have recovered but need trading knowledge that will take me to the next level with high profits.
I second what one of the comments has pointed out, that you should have taken your profit that you made  first, and then start trading with the remaining money so that you will know that even if you happen to be in loss, it wouldn’t really be a complete loss, because you have already taken the profit you meant to take and you are not trading with the money that belongs to the market.

Take for example, you said you invested $200 at first, and then you were able to make $450, which means that your profit so far is $250 (although you said that you experienced a bit of loss, but you have been able to recover from that). So, let’s say that you should have taken out $200 from that money, and then the remaining $250 can be put back for trading in the market. And as you continue to make more profit you can be taking it bit by bit.
2213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 02, 2021, 09:52:06 PM
On the one hand, it is a pity that Napoli lost points, on the other hand, now the situation is such that the top three may be rearranged after each round - this adds interest to the championship.
And the likelihood of this is very high - in the next round we will have interesting matches between Napoli and Atalanta, plus the match between Roma and Inter. I wouldn't be surprised if the formal favorites lose points in these matches.
Now situation suddenly changing with poor play from Napoli and AC Milan both lost some good number of points in last 4 matches and allowing Inter and Atlanta for some interesting entry in title race now we have two very entertaining matches on next play day with Napoli vs Atlanta and Roma vs Inter these both matches will give some better direction because if Napoli win then surely It's going to be very good for this season and if they lose some more points than surely these both teams going to be more deadly in next rounds.

36,35,34 and 31 respective points as later both teams are in good touch and have very good result, so now we will have some more tough games after this December break with teams going to have more good entertainment.
2214  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are some government officials like saying what they don't understand on: December 02, 2021, 08:44:12 PM
Actually, I'm not surprised if Bank Indonesia said that, while on the other hand the President himself allowed the people to learn Crypto because it was part of the development of the times.  Basically, Bank Indonesia as the central bank really doesn't like the existence of BTC and other coins.  What's more, they consider crypto as a threat and an enemy because it disrupts financial stability in Indonesia.  So that the warning from Bank Indonesia continues to roll on crypto users.
I believe that in most nations the central bank and the president are two different power places and they can't do anything about each other. Obviously there are tons of dictatorships in the world where their money worths absolutely nothing at all but if it is democratic enough then central bank presidents could say anything they want without fearing what the president of the nation would respond.

Bank of Indonesia could fear bitcoin as much as they want to, any bank in the world could be fearing it as much as they want to, but that doesn't change the fact that they will have to accept the fact that bitcoin is here to stay and they will not be able to change that at all.
2215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: December 02, 2021, 07:48:06 PM
What I am the most excited about is Portugal being the qualifying team for the world cup because I really do want to see Ronaldo playing the world cup thinking that this might be his last. But I do think that if Ronaldo wants he can also play in the next world cup. And yes this should be a Portugal Italy final from group c.
Yeah, Portugal should win Turkey, but I have doubts that they will be able to win Italy in the final of group C. By the way, the next World Cup after Qatar is scheduled for 2026. So Ronaldo will probably have finished his career by then, considering that he will be 41 years old.
Currently, no one thinking about 2026 World Cup and Ronaldo right now we have very tricky situation as Portugal and Italy from these teams one have to be out from 2022 world cup which is going to play at Qatar. Portugal easily can handle Turkey which is not good enough but for final they are going to face Italy which is very crucial match for both countries from here we can say Italy is going to be good but Portugal having home advantage which is really supportive for them.

But, this all is still some early as we have nearly 3 months for these qualifying matches which are going to play for World Cup 2022 which is going to play in November, December.
2216  Economy / Economics / Re: The Difference Between Staking and Investing on: December 02, 2021, 06:39:00 PM
I have the vision and the same criteria, to invest I understand that it is to choose the safest action or currency so that in the long term of good profit, some say it as a bet, perhaps the meaning can be dissuaded according to the understanding. or whatever you want to say OP, but betting is basically Betting, and I think that many traders enter the market betting, that is, they start trading trying to guess the movements or do what they think is going to happen and that is a bet, at least For me it is, but it is something very dangerous, because you can lose a lot of money if you leave everything to chance. And cryptocurrency staking I understand that it is through another cryptocurrency to generate more as you have in Hodl mode, something like some casinos do.
It is normally a "bet" for sure, because you are investing into something that is unsure what will happen. Look at bitcoin, in the long run it is as guaranteed as anything could be and that is why we do not see it as betting, because we know that if you hold bitcoin long enough then you are going to make a profit. However, reality is that crypto could crumble tomorrow and we may not be aware of it.

I get that bitcoin doesn't look like that right now but it could be something we are unaware of right now so that means it may not be something that we can predict neither. This is why it is a "bet" and investment is always risky no matter what you are getting into.
2217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Great coins to invest in? on: December 02, 2021, 01:34:47 PM
ADA, BNB and ETH coins are very profitable and can survive in the long term, these coins recorded significant growth in the last month, if you want long term investment in some other coins you should know the strong development team, but ADA, BNB ETH, this coin has the potential to give you high profit if you are a trader

ADA has really grown to be one of the most trusted coins in the market these days. If you ask people which coin to choose they are more likely to mention this particular coin.It has really had a good year as more investors’ focus on it has led to further increase in level and price. Apart from ADA, I think Solana is also another good coin to invest in, although I am not fully sure about this, because they once had an outage and people were really not happy about that. With that said, it’s good to note that it has really been a big trend this year as well, alongside Polkadot (MATIC).

As for the Binancecoin, we already knows THAT it is really good for to consider, and it will keep seeing growth as the business continues to grow as well, since Binanceis one of the biggest exchanges, the coin is also going to keep having more values as they keep growing.
2218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How are your shitcoins? on: December 01, 2021, 09:20:49 PM
Not all of them, I have some Shitcoins, but some of them went up and some went down a lot. Most people want to trade Shitcoins because it is quick to make profits, but they also forget that it is quick to fall and lose. The biggest mistake a trader makes in my opinion is to keep Shitcoins for a long time because its price will definitely continue In landing, Shitcoins is not suitable for investment but it is very good for scalping.
That is the common thing about shitcoins, they are not always bad and they are not always making you lose a lot of money. Shitcoins could make you some profit as well, especially when they are starting for the first time, it isn't really something that we should be hopeless about but it is something that would basically be not that great neither.

I suggest you to basically just focus on what you could do with it as quickly as possible and that would be a lot better for everyone. If you stay too long with your shitcoin then you are going to end up losing money as well. Keep it as quick as possible and you will be doing fine but keep it very long and you are going to lose money.
2219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: December 01, 2021, 09:28:28 AM
They are the favourites to win the league and they will win the league. This is because they are in form, they have some quality and experienced players that can not give up whenever they are ahead.
Assuming it was whenever Barcelona was seriously contending in the league, I would have said otherwise. Now Barcelona is struggling and the only serious contender now is ATM but they hardly wins the battle against the real side of the Madrid.
With their current form surely they are going to win this year's title, and currently they are staying dark horse for Champions League as well because we all know they love Champions League and Champions League love Real Madrid after having 13 titles in their name Atletico Madrid and Sevilla were in good connection but their recent poor form giving them some setback which is giving good advantage to Real Madrid for having some good expectations and play without serious pressure for this year's title rival Barcelona is already in poor run even having some good changes but now for this year they are fighting hard for having spot in top 4 which is not easy in presence and form of Real Socidad and Royal Vallecano both having good time in this year.
2220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 01, 2021, 08:31:27 AM
Kylian Mbappé continues to reject Paris Saint-Germain's offer to extend his contract as they have done before. He is no longer likely to commit to the club. It has been made clear to the world that he wants to play at Real Madrid. Madrid's offer was rejected by PSG, and that's one of the stupidest decisions ever made. They'll regret it later. He remains a firm expectation to be signed for free by Madrid in the summer.
As we are heading for next transfer window we have too many hypes and ups and downs for many players like Kylian Mbappe already rejected to PSG for extended contract and today owner also announces they will not insist to him for staying here and Real Madrid already announces Kylian Mbappe is their target No: 1 for this transfer window, and now they are dropping Pogba interest.

PSG management is clearly failed to cash out this big transfer which is terrible from them as they already have some good number of strikers in their camp, and they can bring some more with this all.

Now, Barcelona is also having some serious things for their own stay at top in league, and they are looking for some big names, but all will be clear in next few weeks who are coming and who is joining big teams for rest of this season.
