I was prepared to do a deal with you but it says on your account that you have changed your password recently.

What reason did you have to do this?

Also why on your recent posts there was a BIG gap from April 7th 2016 to September 22nd 2016? why you didn't post?
2242  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What's better? High freq or more ASICs? on: September 23, 2016, 04:56:57 PM
Personally (as stated in my original post) it's to reduce electricity consumption due to limitations on how much I can use.
2243  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling $35 Bitcoin for Paypal $42 on: September 23, 2016, 08:54:09 AM
No mixan is not a scammer. I've been dealing with him for months now and never had a problem. Always paid on time and stuck to any terms we have agreed.

Being a newbie and only having 2activity and no trust rating and coming onto the forum asking for a PayPal transaction is a no go. You won't find anyone willing to send first to you. If you really want to earn yourself some trust you would do well to deal with trusted traders on the forum IF they are willing to take a risk with you.

Please don't come on here accusing people of scamming when you've been on here for 5mins compared to most other traders.

Good luck with your trade though.

What gauge wire are they?
2245  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What's better? High freq or more ASICs? on: September 22, 2016, 08:22:15 PM
That's one thing I didn't consider, longevity (lifespan) of the gear in correlation with how hard you push it.

But do you think you stand a better chance of hitting a hash if theres more chips, or do you think there is more chance for duplicate hashes to be created, or is that a null point considering a single chip could create duplicates?
2246  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3+ Discussion and Support Thread on: September 22, 2016, 05:21:57 PM
Have you done a reset at all while it's been like that?  Press and hold the reset button (with a paper clip poked through the hole) then let go and let it run (hashing) for ten mins.
2247  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience Compac BM1384 Stickminer Official Support Thread on: September 22, 2016, 11:07:17 AM
Wow! Well this is certainly nice. If you don't mind I'll send you a pm and tell you more about what's going on.

Have you tried starting it at a lower frequency (150m) then working it up once it's warmed up and got running? A bit shopper stick I've got took upto 10times plugging and unplugging getting the same errors you have got before it would start.
2248  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / What's better? High freq or more ASICs? on: September 22, 2016, 08:03:54 AM

I'm limited to how much electricity I can use, mainly because of the price but also because of the heat and ventilation of it aswell. So this is a curiousity question more than anything and I'd like to hear people views too.

What's better:-

More ASICs at a lower speed

Or

Fewer ASICs but at a higher speed.

Now I know you can have the same hashrate with both but from my view more ASICs at a lower speed would be better because you've got more little guys working things out and not generating the higher temp (but of course more volume of heat as there are more of them).

What are your views?
2249  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: September 20, 2016, 08:52:53 PM
Sounds like a plan (if I get one). Cheers Phil Smiley
2250  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: September 20, 2016, 08:13:16 PM
Just how quiet can these S9's be?

Ive got an S7LN that's on 20% fan speed and runs at around 55c on each board. I don't intend on running the S9 (if I get one) at full speed due to electricity limitations but want around 4Th out of it. Would I be able to get it to run as quiet as the S7LN?

Thanks.
2251  Bitcoin / Hardware / Anyone got hands on an R4? on: September 20, 2016, 08:10:49 PM
Just wondering if anyone has an R4 and what the experience is like so far. Does it perform as expected? Have you had any problems similar to the ones that have plagued the S9?
2252  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Antminer Blowout Sale S4, S7's, S7LN's, S9's on: September 20, 2016, 02:51:20 PM
Just out of curiousity how much for the S9 with shipping to the U.K?
2253  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmainwarranty of Colorado is offering extended s-9 warranty options on: September 19, 2016, 09:04:22 PM
Never had anything hosted before. Always preffered to have it to hand rather than trusting someone else to sort something out if it goes wrong etc etc. Its a shame they don't list products to buy for people in Europe. I was hoping they would be cheaper than bitmain directly.
2254  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Community Miner Design Discussion on: September 19, 2016, 08:27:11 PM
Yes you are right , but:
5 V 1.2 A it is what - 6 W
with 6 W with theoretical specs current 16 nm generation of Bitfury you will get roughly 50-60 Ghs tops and the chip will be hot as hell, so the device will need good coiling - heat sink alone will have trouble to handle the heat or it have to be oversize .
This is my reason

My watercooling project for the gekkos may well have a purpose if I can ever justify the cost of doing it  Undecided
2255  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: "NetflixGifts" PayPal money request on: September 19, 2016, 09:38:34 AM
I didn't see the negative feedback. Needless to say I haven't heard anything back yet. Won't be sending any money at all. I'm fed up with all the scam artists on here it's ridiculous.
2256  Economy / Scam Accusations / "NetflixGifts" PayPal money request on: September 18, 2016, 11:07:17 PM
Not posted in here before but thought I should tell everyone.

I did a trade with a relatively new account which had some feedback :-

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=841740

Trade went ok for $21 of btc. I got the btc and he got my PayPal.

Well I have just received a PayPal money request from the same user saying they "could not get access to the funds to send to accounts" and could I send the payment again and they will refund the first one.

Obviously I've declined the request and messaged the above account (which has had everything removed, no posts, no feedback etc) asking what the hell is going on.

I've yet to get a reply but will update if I do.

2260  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [Have] $40 BTC [Want] $42 PayPal on: September 17, 2016, 10:19:31 PM
I can do this for you if you are willing to go first. Check out my feedback for previous trades to see I always follow through with deals Smiley

you want 1:1 and I have to send first? I'll definitely pass.

I was willing to pay a bit more than you're asking but if you want to pass then fair enough. Good luck with your trade.
