Claymore, I noticed on your zcash miner that youve managed to match the indexes of the cards in the miner so they match the Afterburner list. Is there anyway to implement this on the next update in this dual miner?

Already implemented since v9.6, check "History.txt" file for details.

Aaahh didnt see that, trouble is, im running GTX1060's not AMD cards. Is there any solution?

You have a PM.

Now this has probably been answered before but I have just noticed on the Zcash mining version that the gpu lists match the msi afterburner list, is it possible to implement it on this version?
1285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is it safe to use regular, not server psu with asics? on: August 13, 2017, 04:50:48 PM
Yes you can run asics with an ATX psu. Things to make sure you know first though:-

1) buy one that is almost twice the power you need (e.g. If your asic is 800w try and get a 1300-1600w) as the peak efficiency is at 50-60% load. If not then allow at least 200w more than you need.

2) make sure it has enough cables for each connection as using the splitters or daisychains is almost guranteed to melt something or cause a fire

3) if its multiple rails then follow the asic instructions for the plugging order

4) you cold use two psus to power one asic but again make sure you follow the plugging order the same way you would do for multiple rails

5) switching on would be done with a jumper (paperclip usually, evga psus come with a jumper already made for you).

Whats your price including shipping to the UK?
1288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How should I power these 1 to 4 multiplier stuff on: August 11, 2017, 05:29:38 PM
I would plug both in and then use regular POWERED risers from the splitter board. But as said its all at your own risk.

Get rid of gpu tweak and use msi afterburner. Much simpler to use.

Also download GPU-z and see what memory the cards have.

1291  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Server PSU to ATX Adapter? on: August 11, 2017, 05:17:22 PM
or an alternative is to just wire up a 24 pin connector (however many pins your motherboard needs) onto the screw terminals of your breakout board and that should work as well. PicoPSU also works quite well, but it does require another power brick to wire up to it if I am correct.

No you dont require a power brick. Ive got a 6pin pcie to 8pin EPS adaptor made up with a pigtail that powers the pico via a screw terminal barrel jack. Everything is connected to an HP 750w server psu with sidehack breakout board.

There is a guy selling his own version of what ive deacribed above in the "Goods-Hardware" section of the forum.
Ah, I didn't know that. Most people I know just used a power brick with em, which I thought was absolutely dumb. Good to know there's a way to power those cheap as well.

Yea i always thought it was a daft way to power a small computer, why not just buy a laptop instead, same power brick but not needed all the time lol

1295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote Windows CPU Miner v3.5 on: August 11, 2017, 05:33:17 AM
So finally got it working. One question though, my hashrate is the same no matter what "-t" or "-lowcpu" value I put.

What i mean is if i set it to -t 3 it hashes at the same speed as -t 1
CPU usage changes with different options?

Thats what I thought but it doesnt for me.
1296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can You Mine on Wifi? Yes! Windows & Linux Wifi Mining Solution on: August 11, 2017, 05:31:47 AM
Already mining over wifi with my rig. 7dbi high gain aerial plugged in the m.2 wireless card.
Nice! You notice any shares lost because you're mining on wifi?

No works great. I was surprised though considering the rig is on metal racking and when the family are over the kids are all on the wifi too so wondered how it would cope, but no problems whatsoever  Grin

Wanted to give monero a go and mine it with my cpu just to try it for a bit but cant get it to work. Cpu is i3-7300t 4MB Cache.

Followed the instructions on nanopool and on the readme and it flashes up and disappears.
