My crystal ball says it's dumping time Sad

Shroomshie... sometimes I have this urge of smashing your crystal ball to pieces. Smiley))
I know why you post like that but lately I have the bad feeling people are getting influenced by you and take what you say literally as a sure prediction.
And this just brings more bearish feelings into the game
2582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.6 HARDFORK MANDATORY UPDATE on: April 22, 2014, 09:49:22 AM
why would anyone want to buy into an old joke. doge is dead. get over it.

The facts show something different.
DOGE recently had a rally of over 60% (~85 to 148), so to say it is "dead" would be inaccurate.
Was it a dead cat bounce?  Roll Eyes

Technically, dead doge bounce! Nah not really Tongue
/r/Dogecoin is still more active than /r/Bitcoin, and by far more than all the other alts' communities Smiley

Well , it is more active... but...
If you go on and compare the threads and the let's say "quality" of the posts and what is discussed there.

But still , it is a lot better than any other reddit of any other altcoin.

2583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] (WC) | WhiteCoin | Distribution Stage Ending SOON! ☯ PoS ☯ exchanges ☯ on: April 22, 2014, 09:43:15 AM
Yeah, I think with this price drop, every altcoin will suffer, it's no longer profitable to trade or mine, everything is going to be a worthless effort.

In 1 or 2 days, whitecoin will probably be worth 5 satoshi in the best case scenario.

I really advice you guys to drop everything and run to a safe place.

And the safe place would be?  The usd ? or the ruble?
And btw , of what price drop are you actually talking about?
2584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]★★ Yellow Coin (YC) ★★PoW/PoS★★1 Day To Launch! on: April 22, 2014, 09:41:58 AM
The premine is 0.5% of the total 1 billion coins. We will definitely NOT dump it but keep it for Dev support, future development and marketing in the future years. We will publish our wallet address so everyone can check the use of the premined coins.

How about you premine 0.
Dev? what dev? Do you need dev for what? Aren't you a dev yourself?
Look on how many people are doign something for bitcoin or doge and using their own money , why can't you build a community like this?
Because it has nothing different from the hundreds of coins?

If you need to buy the development the translations the tweets then this coin has nothing in sight.
If you don't have a new coin with new features ready , the support will go away as fast as your funds will go.

So , better kill the coin all together.
2585  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Oklahoma will charge homeowners who generate their own power on: April 22, 2014, 09:34:45 AM
The Spanish solar taxes.etc were imposed by the Socialist government (led by PSOE). This is not an one-off incident. They created many similar crazy taxes. No wonder they were demolished during the 2011 elections.

In the interests of maximum efficiency....

I can't see a problem with taxing people who buy and use INEFFICIENT types of power generating equipment.   This would include numerous styles of so called "green or renewable" energy implementations.   PV solar has gotten much more efficient, thus it might be taxed nominally.

Penalize buying into a fad, essentially.  But maybe that's got disadvantages too, as it would restrict the natural growth of new energy sources.

You can't see a problem with interfering with the free market and then funding a bureaucracy that never shrinks (until it implodes as Rome did from 1.3 million to 30,000 population)?

Tax by definition is corruption.

Until you socialists figure that out, you will always doom society to repeat the megadeath, totalitarian end games of repeating bouts of collectivism.

When will you learn that top-down planning does not anneal?

There was no real free market in the energy sector in Spain from the start.
Factories were forced to buy a certain amount of green energy while solar and wind suppliers got an insane amount of government subsides via the green certificates.

This whole thing happened also in my country. The result? My electric bill went almost 75% because of those green but rather inefficient systems.

And the worst thing is that you have to maintain also the traditional ways of producing energy (coal/oil/gas) on standby any moment if ut's night and the winds stops.

So a coal plant will have the same maintenance cost but with less than half of the real production.
It's like forcing an air line to fly half of it's flights with 10 passengers. And forcing the rest of them to go by bus.

Quote
The problem is perhaps best illustrated by the renewables sector. The Zapatero government created a series of premiums and subsidies to give solar, wind and biomass technologies a start. But even producers accept that this approach has hindered rather than helped. "I agree that things got out of control in the solar sector," says Jorge Morales, who owns a plant producing solar energy. "But that is just one line in a book filled with idiocies and scandals."

The amount was set by consulting bodies such as the CNE, but the legislation covering payment was vague, meaning that solar energy capacity quickly reached 2,900 megawatts, instead of the 400 initially proposed.

Private, small-scale investors were encouraged to buy into solar energy parks, although speculators looking to move their money out of construction also moved in. The result was a surplus of very expensive energy. To make matters worse, the government slammed the brakes on a sector that had already cost the taxpayer billions of euros.
2586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | PoS | No premine | No IPO on: April 22, 2014, 08:44:57 AM

Agreed. Cryptos are only for speculation at the moment. So a discussions about price is welcome by me.

Let's not say that. Check the marketplace on this forum and the service area. Btc is doing a lot beside trading and speculation.
Too bad none of the alts is following.
2587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Mazacoin ** FAKE Sovereign Currency ** on: April 22, 2014, 08:42:13 AM
P. S. For the fellow who wants to make SiouxCoin. The Sioux and the Lakota are one Nation, they have been for about 100 years now. Just saying....

~~  AP

Yeah , and we can have btc and ltc equivalent for them.
Besides , no Siouxs have ever heard of mazacoin , so the name isn't a problem , just how many of the bagholders don't have a clue who the hell the lakota are.
We just have to claim we're the sovereign currency of the Sioux nation and cash in on the idiots investors.
2588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | PoS | No premine | No IPO on: April 22, 2014, 08:35:13 AM
Let's do a small "General Knowledge" Test....

Who do you think holds roughly 10-20% of the coins in circulation?

Anyone.... Anyone?

Please don't write in bold, we can perfectly read and it's plainly annoying.

Sorry incorrect... Anyone else?

Stop with the bold writing and huge fonts.
I just hate this type of writing and I do report it every time it gets abused. So cut it out unless you want your post erased by mods.
2589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | PoS | No premine | No IPO on: April 22, 2014, 08:33:45 AM
low bid depth punishment u call that. as trading slowed, doubts kicked in about whether we would go up or down. then impatience kicked in for a whale looking to exit but unable to get one, so he started the heartless steady dump, setting off a chain reaction. the whale is gone. but there is some panic left. new investors are now happy to have gotten bc under 50k.. and 40k lol

anyway.. bc what are u doing.. stahp!!

edit:damn looks like there's another whale now.. hopefully hes not holding more than 50,000 bc.

Whales are leaving BC, they're heading to other coins with lower volume and price, easier for pumping. There is very small chance for BC to have another bubble.

And is that bad for a coin to get out of the pump and dump mess?
If you're long term this is the time you were waiting for , no more pump , less manipulation , and people can focus on growth based on usage... which is close to 0 at this point.
2590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] (WC) | WhiteCoin | Distribution Stage Ending SOON! ☯ PoS ☯ exchanges ☯ on: April 22, 2014, 08:31:09 AM
what about big boy BTC? Huh premined? and today who cares..

Exactly!! Its has nothing to do with pre-mine at all. So please don't use that as an excuse.. If anything i would rather see a premine coin so i know the develeopers have finances to continue in its growth..

Without that its useless.. And i am an investor so please come and tell me different..

Developers have funds for growth but can't even change the shitty logo which has been redesigned for free. Hope someone forks this coin who actually has vision. And hey, happy to be proven wrong dev(s) when you wake up.

BTC wasn't premined. Premine means that some of the coins are mined disregarding the normal distribution , all at once in a block.
Everyone who with a computer could have mined btc just like satoshi , and a few did.

For the poeple who haven't learned about btc , of course that might sound like a premine but..
For 99% of the population of this earth all the coins that are currently active are premined by more than 50% if you follow this reasoning.

Just like how to you btc was "premined" because you had no clue about it , so for billions "whitecoin" will be 100% premined as they didn't have a clue about it at that time and joined the show after the mining was done.

2591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SPA] SpainCoin: freedom for Spain - Update wallets! Airdrop ongoing: 1.3%! on: April 22, 2014, 08:24:53 AM
So to make sure im getting this correct, the pool will mine as it says " the most profit coins " then convert them into SPA coins is this correct or did i misunderstand. If i am understanding correctly i must sat this is the 1st time i have seen a pool mine and convert coins into something other than bitcoin
It has been done with BlackCoin before: http://www.blackcoinpool.com/

The coins mined are all used to purchase SpainCoins, in order to create buying pressure and liquidity. Miners can then choose to keep their Spaincoins if they want.

This is exciting news!
This could work if the community will throw their hash at it. I will put some on it. I still believe in Spaincoin. This developer knows what he is doing and is very active / proactive...
This may sound like captain obvious, but if all the people who are getting coins in Spain would understand what this pool is, and use it, their coins would be more valuable.

By all the people you mean "Han recibido SpainCoins 669 personas" ?
Those 600?

Besides with all the coins getting a multipool , this is just the new hype Smiley every multi that is behind a coin will get such a low hashrate that they will act like solo-mining. Also , don't forget that spa is a mineable coin so the effect won't be the same as bc or wc who are protected from this.
2592  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donetsk, Kharkov, Lugansk - way to Russia. on: April 22, 2014, 08:20:02 AM
Victoria Nuland's public statement of 5 billion usd investment into Ukraine is prove of CIA involvement.

Out of that hardly 1% reached the protesters, for the purchase of rifles and petrol bombs. The remaining went to bribing the oligarchs, such as Tymoshenko, Akhmetov and Ihor Kolomoyskyi.

Just like the 34mld $ that Russia "helped" Ukraine with the gas prices. Only that the pro-Russian red commies received the rifles and equipment as a bonus.
2593  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine... Revolution. on: April 22, 2014, 08:15:52 AM
US Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs, Victoria Nuland, in an interview with CNN confirmed that Washington has allocated 5 billion “to support the aspirations of the people of Ukraine to a stronger, democratic government.”

http://www.eurasiareview.com/22042014-us-has-invested-5-billion-in-democracy-promotion-in-ukraine-nuland/

Oh yeah:
Quote
“This money has been spent to support the desire of the people of Ukraine to a stronger, democratic government that represents their interests,” said Nuland. But she stressed that the US “did not spend money to support the Maidan.” According to her, it was a “spontaneous movement”.
Grin

So , 5 mld in 20 years against 35 mld in 4 years.
I think that Russia was "investing" a lot more in Ukraine lately Smiley.

Developers bailed out!

Sweet! One less coin in a week!

In a week?
Be serious.
The dev from Cyprus coin - Aphrodite dumped the premine on march 22 , yet , there are still idiots buying the coin even now.
2595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | PoS | No premine | No IPO on: April 22, 2014, 08:03:16 AM
Just talking about price should be forbidden. Everyone who has BC can check it for himself so we dont have to read later 20 pages of "50k OMGGgg" and organized pump and dumpers couldnt influence stupid ppl that much too

If there wouldn't be any talks about the price , be it current or future one , this thread will be dead.

in about  ±40 Hours mining will ended, and Whitecoin will enter POS fase.

if we can survive these last 40 hours of Multipools dump, I can see a bright future on WC.

Survive for 40h? Lols.

It takes one computer only and the coin is safe. I haven't seen coin that has been out for more than a few days and has died , except the ones killed at the launch.

From my point of view price is irrelevant in the early stages if you are in the coin long term.
But if all you want is to speculate , then yeah , those will be 2 days of nightmares.
2597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] [YC] YellowCoin ★★ 7 Day PoW/Pure PoS ★★ 22/04/2014 - 10h To Launch! on: April 22, 2014, 07:55:04 AM
Dev. You have just over 4 hours till launch.  You must answer this question before launch.  By my calculations 108 million coins will be mined during the POW stage, not 1 billion.  Is your premine 0.5% of 108 million or 0.5% of 1 billion?

He has saw twice this question and ignored while he replied just that the premine will be used for.... the usual
It is clear that the numbers are wrong in the op and that indeed we have a huge premine of over 4%
2598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.6 HARDFORK MANDATORY UPDATE on: April 21, 2014, 04:39:21 PM
I still support this coin, will buy more when it is lower than 100 sat.

And if we never hit sub 100 satoshi ever again?
What are you going to do? Turn into a permabear like Igorr and Fonzie and wait for bitcoin to dive under 100$ or doge under 100 satoshi?

I know that the probabilities are different in those examples but... what if doge will never get below?

+1
For short-term, outlook is bullish because of the block halving which will reduce selling pressure from multipool.
For long-term, outlook is still bullish because of how active and dedicated Doge users are, and it keeps increasing in popularity, and there'll be the race with the doge car in a few weeks, etc.

I hope you are right, but last block halving, doge's price went down obviously, I am afraid that lowe hash rate will make miners' panic selling

I always thought that the dropping block reward is already priced in.
Doge went because of a multitude of factors including bitcoin price and the idiots who sold when they've seen that the Olympics didn't pushed the price to the moon as only a wishful thinking n00b would think.

Besides , doge already went too high in that bubble to keep up at that level.
2599  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 21, 2014, 04:22:53 PM
Actually some people pay tax on their gains on BTC , interesting Smiley
Sometimes is indeed nice to live in a messed up country , just like mine. (And still be part of the EU).
Bulgaria?

Romania Smiley. But you were very close.

The two additions to the EU I could not for the light of me comprehend Tongue

From my point of view , the people who allowed .ro to join the EU were pretty stupid , with a lot of bone in their heads.
But , it's too late for that Smiley.

Still if you want a heaven for bitcoin taxation and you can live with the dogs, holes, whores, and so on ..romania is for you Smiley

Thanks for the information but what's tax haven about it? According to http://www.ey.com/GL/en/Services/Tax/The-worldwide-personal-tax-guide---XMLQS?preview&XmlUrl=/ec1mages/taxguides/TGE-2013/TGE-RO.xml there is a 16% capital gains tax.

Because in real life nobody is paying anything.
I've been working for freelance and GAF for years , I've done a lot of affiliate programs and I sold a few bitcoins also but I haven't payed a single penny.
And so did a lot of my friends who were involved in website promotions and affiliate programs (adbrite adwords etc).

And to this date nobody bothered to look into this.
Keep your bank transactions low , don't exceed 1000$/time or 10000$ a year with the same bank and nobody will check it out.

And if you dare to pay... you're in a world of pain as a lot of the guys at the tax office don't have a clue about those kind of earnings.
Two years  ago i tried to get 'legal" and to declare all my income. I spent days after days waiting in queues sometimes for hours and speaking with idiots who had no clue until.. I go fed up with it.

I can't even imagine going there are asking about taxation on BTC , they will probably throw me out thinking i'm joking

2600  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Transnistria (Pridnestrov'je) seeking independence from Moldova on: April 21, 2014, 03:43:40 PM
I've seen lots of Turks that have nothing to do with turkey.
And the gagauti have nothing to do with the Christianity you think  about Smiley

The Gagauz are devout Christians and they were the first group to oppose the recognition of Islam in Moldovia (off course which was forced upon the general public by the pro-EU loonies).

Just as some communities in the Philippine and in south america which claim to be christian but are more close to witch doctors. it's just that their Christianity even if it's orthodox like the one Moldova has so many differences. And they have lots of practices nobody has a clue where did they picked them up.

And again , quoting my line about not trusting everything Wikipedia says , you quote a Russian article....very professional for somebody claiming to have a fair point on this and not involved in propaganda.

I could give you hundreds of articles on this in romana but... not so sure Google won't translate gagaut as stupid Smiley)).
So , I won't have a fair view either.
