2621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your betting budget on: July 23, 2021, 04:14:21 PM
Planning is just easy, doing it is another. I tried to do it budgeting my income and divide to investment, savings, bills and gambling but I didn't managed to follow my budget in gambling. I'm not sure maybe I'm a little bit addictive to it now but I'm trying to control it but sometimes I didn't put on my savings it just go into my gambling budget, usually it's around 20-30% of my total income.

Damn, 20% - 30% of total income into gambling is so huge. The experts say to at least invest 20% of total income to investments to secure your future.
I think you should decrease your gambling amount from 30% to 10% and then invest the rest 20% into investments which can yield good returns.
This way you will still be gambling while investing and having a better future.
Sure! I think the game process brings the same pleasure when used in the game and 30 percent of income and 5. This means that changing the spending on gambling and starting to save will not change anything else in the gameplay, but after a few years you can feel a pleasant accumulated large amount that itself begins to generate income.
For me, it's not big if you are really winning in gambling, but if you are just losing in gambling, then better drop that percentage so you will not feel the pain of losing. We gamblers have the same purpose but we don't have the same experience as some just really losing money while some are making money.

The number of people making money in gambling is way too less than the ones losing money.
Happy for you that you are making money in gambling. Mind sharing your strategies  Grin Tongue
It's hard to stay in profits in gambling as it requires strong will power and control on yourself.
Decreasing the amount is the best bet when it comes to continuously losing in gambling.

Obviously, otherwise, casinos and other gambling platforms would not survive, the fact that the gambling industry is a booming industry, only tells us that they are making money consistently while majority of the gamblers are experiencing the opposite thing.
2622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why altcoins are rampant in the market on: July 23, 2021, 01:07:47 PM
I divide all altcoins into two groups: “hype” coins that I can trade and fundamental currencies. By hype altcoins I mean something useless, but something that is being pumped by authoritative channels. On the other hand, fundamental currencies I hold and regularly buy more, especially on drawdowns. Under such currencies I see good ideas, strong communities and caring teams.
We need to become technically strategic in the market to which we belong. I'd sometimes make a buy order for hypes coins but once I've gained a profit from them and seeing it started to dump, I have no longer to invest them back. Why? it was to know that these kinds of coins won't recover shortly but usually, they will sink on the deep and have less chance to recover.

The wisest thing to do is to invest those coins that are worthy enough for our trust. Because even we wait for how many years, we can still expect possible returns unlike what these hyped coins can do for us.
2623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons for newbies loss in bitcoin on: July 23, 2021, 12:46:50 PM
One of the first probability reason why newbies loss their Bitcoin , cause they are Glare at the Money an never think the possible outcomes. Bitcoins are one of the best  Digital cryptocurrency. Yeah it's true trading Bitcoins is Good but think also the other side that Bitcoins is Volatile and we can not predicted the possible results weitheir if we win or loss.
Newbies aren't good enough in the market, their level of understanding was still far from us but we can't deny that we are also is struggling hard during our first entry into the crypto space. I could say that what they have done today is the same story we've done before. We were able to find what went wrong because we learn from our bad experiences before and I believe that these newbies will also change their attitude and mindset later on once they learn their mistakes.
2624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season Champion: Milwaukee Bucks on: July 23, 2021, 11:43:28 AM
Yes, this is a very interesting topic and I also think that CP3 will not retire, I still manage to play a few seasons as he is "only" 36 years old, I believe he has another 3 or 4 years in the NBA, because it's more or less at this age that many players retire (of course this is not a rule)
You are probably right that Paul might be able to play at least three more seasons. However, it is worth noting that Paul has a player option in his contract for next season. It means he can stay with the Suns for one more season, or he might become an unrestricted free agent. So I won’t be surprised if he decides to join the lakers. The trio of Paul, James, and Davis would look very strong.

Well, I'm not against it. Besides, it's the wisest thing for him to do is to join with the Lakers. The Suns might not be able to make it to the Finals again, not because of the current line up but the possibility for other teams in the West to upgrade their roster. Even If the Suns retain their team chemistry and roster, still they can't beat a healthy Brooklyn Nets, let alone the Milwaukee Bucks. But the again, before we jump to the next NBA finals, teams in West like the Mavs, Lakers, Clippers, or Jazz might upgrade their roster.

Well, I agree with you, I think Mavericks, Jazz, and Clippers need some upgrade but for the Clippers, I think they are good already, they just have to ensure that Leonard will be healthy in the playoffs so they'll be able to compete. PG has really lived up to the challenge, he was legit in the playoffs and we confirmed that he has become a playoff George, and actually, I believe that they could have win the series against the Suns if Leonard were able to play.
2625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: July 23, 2021, 11:23:41 AM
Congrats on the Bucks fans, you won the spread and you should celebrate also. lol

overall last season, I think I'm in profit but not a big profit though, I'm just enjoying my journey, trying to be consistent with my picks.
Thanks also for those who trusted my pick, you guys rock, we learn together and that's already cool for me.

I want to learn also! What are the websites do you use to get your basketball information. I might begin taking this game more serious on the next season hehe. I want to know the sites of the best news websites, statistics and analysis.

Not sure if stadus is looking for basketball websites to make his prediction.

I'm also a NBA bettor, but I bet based on what I'm currently seeing, I mean if you have followed NBA at least for this regular season, you will know already the strengths and what the team can bring in the table.

And then you bet, whether pre game or live betting, there are many nba sites that give tips and prediction, but for me it's better to put your bet base on what you see. Even those nba sites that gives prediction often is a miss, specially if you saw some huge underdog and you know that they can win, they I would say bet on it.

Looking for the next season.

Don't trust a site giving a prediction, it's not a winning prediction, otherwise, why would they share.

Most bettors are just looking only for a site that will provide accurate stats and it will be up to us on how to analyze the statistics.
Thing is, we may see the same stats but we have a different interpretation on our analysis, and I would say experience is really a good teacher.
2626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: July 23, 2021, 10:56:22 AM
This could be the last time we see a Donaire vs Inoue fight, so Donaire should train harder, for himself to the limit so he can beat the best. He still has that powerful punch, his last fight was very impressive but with a moving target like Inoue, I know it's hard but who knows Donaire could catch him and KO him early.

For a gambler, betting on Donaire is good as the odds should really be a sweet one, we can get at least +300 in this fight.

Or this could be Donaire's last fight  Smiley. He is 38 years old if I'm correct and there's no much attractive fight out there for him if he losses this fight unless he wants to be a stepping stone for the young guns of this weight category which I doubt he will do.

I'll wait for some option like Inoue winning by decision and see if it's attractive but won't bet for Donaire here. Betting with head and not with heart but I would be very happy if he wins this fight.

Yep, this could be it for Donaire, so me thinking that he will go all in this fight and will try to knock out Inoue. So this will be war from the first round.

Donaire, can't go up in weight, we have seen it before and didn't end well for him. He has knock out of Nicolas Walters.

But maybe he can go after Casimero for fun and giggles.

On the contrary, I think Donaire will still campaign in this division even if he lost to Inoue again.

No need to go up in weight, he can't bring his power, and as you have said, his first attempt was a failure.

He can still remain relevant after a potential lost, and fight others including the winner or loser of the Casimero vs Rigo match.

If Inoue will win and Casimero will win against his opponent, then we should see a great match for unification.

Casimero has been challenging Inoue but Inoue's camp has no answer, so when both fighters are holding their belt and fans would like to see a unification, then I guess they will grant our request. For me, this scenaio is the only way that we could see a big fight in this division.
2627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 22, 2021, 09:07:26 PM
This might be a tough fight for Pacquiao with his age vs the young Errol Spence Jr with a 27 win with 21 KO well this is gonna be interesting match we will see if Pacquiao still can stand against new and young competitors it's nice to see him fight until now, is there an odds already for this match?
His age matters for many fans but I still see him in good shape and I don't think it will be a hindrance with this match.

It's going to be experienced versus toughness and strength for Spence. Well, I still think that Pacquiao is going to get this match after all but I'm not belittling or discrediting the records and experience of Spence Jr.

It's simple, just forget about his age now and remember how he beat his young opponent in his previous fight. I don't understand why some experts really target Manny's age as his weakness when in fact in has not anymore lose in the past fights. They can't believe that Manny is just too rare, he is a legend and he is special, no boxer could beat him now.
It's okay.

We usually see those debates that they're bringing because that's what they think. But, let's all wait until the fight day comes and how he'll going to prove them wrong.

So you are rooting for Manny Pacquiao to win this fight? Same here, I'm concern about the odds now, changes now are in favor of Manny Pacquiao.

I check the betting odds are here's the odds movement that I saw.

open at 2.80, rise to 2.80, now at 2.65. ..I guess it will just go down as the fight is approaching.
2628  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC Go for Another All Time High This Year? on: July 22, 2021, 08:48:25 PM
Since El Salvador accepted Bitcoin as legal tender, many people saw Bitcoin worth 100,000 USD.

1. About 77% of the international population now refuses to accept the Bitcoin law. This is also a long-term process, and this news will make other countries reconsider the definition of Bitcoin.

2. On July 31, the United States will continue to "release water" of US$248 billion. This news will also bring some benefits to Bitcoin. Some countries also issue additional currencies in order to stabilize their currency prices. These are all conducive to the growth of Bitcoin prices.

Maybe people got hype actually, well, it's good news that bitcoin is considered as a legal tender but it will only create some big positive influence on the market if a big country will consider bitcoin as a legal tender. So, it's safe to assume that it will take time before people will fully adopt bitcoin as a legal tender, the main problem, for now, is the high transaction fee and most especially its price volatility.
2629  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I started investing in crypto 4 years ago but recently did I made profits on: July 22, 2021, 03:00:45 PM
You have done and experiencing the worse scenarios in your life in crypto and I believe that you had learned it already. Now, maybe it was time for you to start over again and be sure that everything is in a good position.
All you need to do now is to carefully choose those projects that are worth enough, not just because of someone suggested but it was you who do the search.

Check its market volume, where it was listed, and sometimes we do some chart analysis to know if we are in the best position to buy.
2630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't give your bitcoins to scammers on: July 22, 2021, 02:35:58 PM
I keep my funds on several wallets - trust, ownr, atomic and I'm not going to share any information about them with anyone.
That was a good idea but it is much better I think if you have to share to any of your trusted friend or any of the family member just in case if there is a bad thing happen on you. We can't ignore such instances and much better if there is someone who could able to claim that.

Anyways, scammers are smart and they will continue to find a way just to scam people. Most noobs had fallen into their traps because of some ignorance and market awareness. If it keeps this thing happens to them, we can never win this war but instead, scammers will getting bigger and bigger.
2631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season Champion: Milwaukee Bucks on: July 21, 2021, 09:11:12 PM
Social media is already going crazy with rumors about who is next to join the Lakers. Christ Paul, Russell Westbrook, & Damian Lillard all being mentioned as strong candidates. Personally, I’m not sure we’ll see Chris Paul opt out of his contract. He’s got too much money left. I don’t think they have the assets to get Dame either. Westbrook looks like a decent possibility today though. It would be an interesting pairing with LeBron. I don’t think they fit well together but the talent level would be amazing.
If Lebron will allow Westbrook to bring the ball and play his game, then probably we will see them play effectively together. Westbrook is not a spot-up shooter, actually, he is a bad perimeter shooter, he loves to drive the ball in the basket and make assists, so for me to be effective, he needs to play the PG position and Lebron has to accept that if he wants a 100% Westbrook.

Also, there's a rumor that Howard will go back to the Lakers and Drummond will be out.
2632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to invest in BNB now? on: July 21, 2021, 08:48:48 PM
I guess this is the best time to invest in BNB because of the current market conditions. You will buy at a cheap price that will yield great profits in the future. Binance coin has all it takes to rise soon, as it is the native token of the finance chain.

There's no doubt you'll get a cheap price now, but, if you aim to get a cheaper price, then I guess you should keep waiting as there's a chance that bitcoin will dip and BNB will follow. For me, BNB could drop below $100 and bitcoin could drop below $20k, that should be the best price to accumulate for bigger future profits.
2633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Passive income on: July 21, 2021, 02:00:59 PM
There are a lot of ways you can earn in cryptocurrency.

Here are the two examples of the most commonly used method

1.) Staking - Staking coins is a way to gain consistent returns on your cryptocurrency portfolio if you want to earn 1% a day. The standard holding period for staking is one to six months, but various fixed periods are available.
2.) Mining - You can profit from cryptocurrency without having to invest any capital. Bitcoin miners are rewarded with Bitcoin when they complete "blocks" of validated transactions added to the blockchain.

3. Trading - if you have enough knowledge and capital in trading, you can get a passive income from it. Just learn first before do trading to avoid huge losses if ever.
It is risky and couldn't be considered as passive income IMO.
Honestly, we can't find passive income here in crypto. Yes, you can make huge money from here IF given a chance and so unfortunate that not all the time comes.

If are absolutely looking for a passive income, let's have to find a stable job rather than staying here. Maybe offering skilled service in the forum could help but not taking, mining, and trading.
2634  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading needs consistent attention and full concentration on: July 21, 2021, 01:32:46 PM
In trading, we are indeed required to explore deeper trading knowledge and don't be complacent with the results we get. so psychologically we have to feel we still have a lot of shortcomings so that this is a motivation for us to study harder and work harder
It means that we need to go beyond what we have today and make every day a habit to learn more until we find enough to deal with the market behavior.
It is likely to have the confidence and when we feel that we got what we want to happen on our trades.
All of this stuff needs passion and motivation, and we don't have to underestimate trading. Many got to fall and suffer failures because of such action and we don't need to be like them, otherwsie.
2635  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not a Game . on: July 20, 2021, 11:42:24 PM
I don't also like the idea of treating Trading as a game because that's too risky and you should be more serious in trading because there's a money involve here and if you take this for granted, expect your trading at a loss because of being too ignorant about how trading works.

Your knowledge in trading will make you a better person and make you good profit, it takes a lot of patience, sacrifices and consistency in order for you to succeed in trading. This is not just about buying and selling, you have to be on a perfect timing to avoid any losses and be consistent on taking profit.
It consists of a higher level of market understanding and appreciation. People who got into trading had found no joke about this as it was money. If we just treat this as a game, maybe it was better to gamble instead.

I don't know how some people just think about it but that is their appreciation. They'll soon find it wrong once they are in trading and once they lose their money and get disappointed. It is sometimes our experience could tell the truth and that only it happens when we are actually doing it in real life.
2636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still use ETH? on: July 20, 2021, 11:20:45 PM
You talking about something that's already been fixed mate, Ethereum transaction fee is no longer a problem and August is close which we will see even better and cheaper transaction fee on Ethereum network, the headache is already over, as for the question you asked many people just prefer ETH and you and I can't change their minds

every year I hear this.
transactions will become cheaper, we will get away from this, exchanges will become faster, but so far everything is only worse.
If ever you don't believe that mate, then you are free to use another platform but you don't have the right to condemn people for continuously using Ethereum as they are preferred to use it. I mean it was their choice and you also have. Maybe you are just unhappy with the current situation, the gas fee has been resolve already but can't make it stay like this forever and maybe later it increases just like what happened to BTC.
2637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to seek help if you need; concerned with gambling addiction. on: July 20, 2021, 09:38:27 PM
Addiction is something that can be cured directly or in instant but doesnt mean its not possible.

It depends on the gravity of addiction, once you are addicted, you already have a problem and I don't think it could be cured instantly as you are building that overtime until it enters into your system, eventually it will control you and you'll not be able to think of minimizing the risk when you are gambling.

Gambling addiction can be treated, but it needs time and your dedication to change your life for the better.

In the end, it's your effort that is necessary, you cannot rely on your change on other people.
2638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy some low cap coins on: July 19, 2021, 11:24:12 PM
BAT is looking like is going to be a popular project in the bear future, it seem to be doing well even as it is low prices now. It supply is 1,500,000,000 but is almost circulated and I have seen coins in billion but doing fine.
I can't tell but as we can see on the chart, this coin had some potentials to grow compared to the others. Just like the other said, it takes time for a certain project to developed and being notice by the investors. And this also needs the strong support of the team and developers for they are the main reason that could uplift their status. Investors will just consider investing in a project if they saw that they reliable and worth it, otherwise, they will ignore it.
2639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Re:值得投资你相信的硬币吗? on: July 19, 2021, 10:45:29 PM
I think that if coins are supported by real projects and ideas, small price fluctuations are unimportant. As long as people believe in it, you will not lose your money.
It is not true, no guarantee for your money even if the coin/token is supported by real projects. You don't forget that good coins cannot give the profits automatically, it surely also depends on your strategy or how you manage the coins. Many newbies have lost the money massively because they just focus on the popularity or reputation of the coins. They don't really care about the strategy, learning crypto market characteristics, and best time to sell-buy. Whereas it is very important and surely determines the success in investment as well.

Indeed, we can't expect instant return but I think at least our chances are high compared to those projects that have no working products.

Well, you are absolutely right. It wasn't just because they are known and listed on the reputable exchanges we are confident enough to make our investment grow, it all still lies in what strategy we use. And that we need to study the market so well before starting as this will be our tool to succeed.
2640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does matic (polygon) worth to invest? on: July 18, 2021, 11:41:23 PM
Everyone here are might be right or wrong as the speculation can be a hundred percent reliable until we try and find it by ourselves. Everyone has their own market preference and for sure those who don't trust Matic will say is not a good project. But it is you OP who can decide, just be sure that you are already done with the research and project background because that is the basis of your analysis.
If that you trust and have faith in this project, then go for it.
