2681  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Question for bitcoin traders !!! on: July 06, 2021, 12:49:17 PM
"The hardest thing in life is not about how much money you can make, but how to keep your mind calm and live the rest of your life in a simple and carefree way".

I definitely have to agree with you. It is a matter of how we manage ourselves in the situation where our emotions have been tested and badly affected, somewhat like in the bear season. It is really hard to be perfect (nor that was possible), some circumstances are we mostly bothered by our emotions, fears, and anxiety. We often become negative when experience losses and regrets, and sometimes be positive when we gain profit.
And why these all things happen because we live as human beings, not a robot.
2682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin become a true decentralized currency? on: July 05, 2021, 11:30:03 PM
The whale manipulates its value and is so easily manipulated. Is this decentralization?
What do you think about Bitcoin now?
It was decentralized since before and nothing had changed despite saying a manipulated price. Don't get doubt about it, Bitcoin remains uncontrollable but we are not sure for the next 100 years (if that still exists). I know that things can be changed depending on the development and market demand. And it won't be possible to happen if the community will agree and voted to have it change to a centralized platform.

But until this time, it was 100% decentralized.
2683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about NFTs? on: July 05, 2021, 10:50:20 PM
I think NTF is a great expansion of cryptocurrency opportunities especially for those who are engaged in creative activities.
Now artists, artists, musicians can digitally tokenize their intellectual property, this is the development of technology and mass adoption.
Well, it is a part of the crypto development, ICO, IEO, Defi, NFT, plus meme coins. And what I can say with these new sets of crypto projects, they are helping more to have a better experience and market transparency which I believe that could encourage people to adopt the market. However, as the development continues, never expect that NFT will stay long, they will soon say goodbye and another set of projects had come again.
2684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB burn 16th. Now BNB is worth $312. Will you buy or not? on: July 04, 2021, 10:46:23 PM
Binance coin or known as BNB coin will begin their 16th token burn on this month (around mid-July 2021), last year, they have running BNB burn for 12th on July 17, 2020. Will you buy BNB now or just wait and see because market still looking not too good?

If the amount of $ burn similar with previous burn, it's mean they will burn around 2 million BNB coin worth of $600million
There is nothing to wait for the result as it surely helps to increase its market value just like what happened last time.
Or even to say that we are wrong but knowing that BNB is known and one of the promising coins, I think we are still secured no matter what will happen after this event. But I was positive with the result and that is why I take some while the price is cheap.
2685  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to deal with bear markets on: July 02, 2021, 09:25:18 PM
If you want to earn in a bear market, you can use the bitcoin futures where you can bet on the downward movement of price as well on price bounce on resistance levels.

That's another good suggestion but still consider the risk and this requires the skills to be able to succeed.

For me, I would stick to the old strategy and yet an effective one, and that is by simply accumulating and hold it until the next bull run will come.
This is the easiest and it does not require skills to do it successfully, just basic knowledge in choosing the right coin to hold, then everything will be good.
2686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: July 02, 2021, 09:08:03 PM
If the Hawks will announce that Trae Young will play, then maybe the odds will increase to -6 Hawks, so taking it early is a great idea.

With one day rest, I think it's enough for the Hawks to figure out their mistakes in game 5 and device a new plan to even the series.

They are good in these games, I mean both teams as in their previous match, both teams beat their opponent in game 7 and they all do it on the road.
2687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To what extent can sport be strengthened with cryptocurrencies on: July 02, 2021, 08:22:45 PM
Are you referring to sports betting or the sports itself?

I guess on sports, crypto is already recognized as I read some news before that some players are accepting bitcoin as their salary and some teams are also accepting bitcoin as payment. The adoption has already started, we can't deny that, bitcoin has nowhere to go but up and everyone will adopt with it.

On the sports betting side, it's now widely used and some casinos in the crypto are even adding sportsbooks on their platform, the reason is they see the demand and that would result to make their business more profitable.
2688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Breaking : Donaire Versus Casimero on: July 02, 2021, 08:10:59 PM
~snip~
On the video that I posted, you can see and hear Donaire's reason and then more on why he cancelled this fight. He really take it personally, so I'm not sure if this fight can still be salvage. And I agree that the fans are mostly affected by the cancellation.
^ Oh it is canceled, I never know that this fight was canceled.
But I think that is a good decision from Donaire even though people think that this is a cowardly act. But the fact that Casimero's was overrated that possibly would have a knockout. What I think here is the Donaire and Inoue fight will be incoming and probably this was the reason for match cancellation because Donaire reserved his strength on Inoue, not on Casimero.

Donaire wants to avenge his loss and take the belt of Inoue, that's a big mission because Inoue is still undefeated until now and he has been crushing his opponent. A wise decision by Donaire to face Inoue, but he should have not accepted the fight of Casimero if he has an intention to fight Inoue soon, that's being unprofessional.
2689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: in between the decision to hold or sell on: July 02, 2021, 01:17:57 PM
It depends on what coin is your friend holding, it would be better if you include what coin is he holding so we can also suggest what he or she will do. If the coin that they are holding has the potential to grow in the future then it is better for him just to keep holding it, 25% should not be the target if they know how good the coin is.
I agree with you too. I believe HODLing should be in direct correlation with the type of coin the person is HODLing. If the project you have invested in is good enough then holding for a much longer time shouldn't be a problem because you know that it will always recover and they might eventually hold longer even after their initial 25% target has been reached.
So it all depends on your coin/token.
if you buy them at a high price, you have not choice but to hold them in order to save from losing but that only if you are investing in those promising coins. But sometimes, we are tempted to sell especially when we are hopeless while seeing the market every day were declining. That certainly be bothering for us that is why I'd challenge everyone if you are aiming to hold long-term better not to check your portfolio every day as it only gave you the reason to change your decision.
2690  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This sh*t ain't for the faint of heart! 😭 on: July 02, 2021, 12:53:18 PM
snip..
Bitcoin aren't for crybabies that uses emotions everytime they are in trouble which will tend them to lose more. Risk management should be their primary skills in the first place before they want to join the market. Bitcoin price is always unpredictable and if you don't know how to manage your funds well, you will surely lose it all but people are too greedy to think they could just invest then run away with millions as if that's how the market gonna work.

The high volatility makes it very unpredictable to those who have invested Bitcoin but if they have the right set of skills and knowledge they will make money from it. That's why it's not for crybabies.
In short, never invest in crypto if you are not ready...

Everything should be ready, knowledge, skills, and most especially, the willingness to lose our money. Trading is not just we are milking the market, but it might possible that the market is milking us. We can't really underestimate the volatility of the market because that is the main reason why many traders had to lose their money.

if we are not able to provide these things before going to trading, we therefore not expect a good result.
2691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I feel uncomfortable if I don’t buy on: July 02, 2021, 12:23:58 PM
Patience.
There will always be a chance to redeem yourself.  Grin
I feel the same way last time it dropped below $30k. It was an opportunity that may never fall into us again but all we can do is endure it if there are no funds to buy for it.

That's it, why we should have to force ourselves if there is nothing left, I think, it couldn't bring us to death.
If OP wanted to take this opportunity, then he has to sell some of his Bitcoin but that gonna be a stupid idea. Or, to take a loan is the last option but I don't encourage people to do this if they don't have another source of income.

I think OP needs to accept that he is not in control of the situation. The next time, he has to save some money as a reserve if he is able to buy in every dip.
2692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: July 02, 2021, 11:45:18 AM
Congrats to the bettors who took the Bucks to win.

It was the complete opposite of game 4, this time, it was the bucks who dominated the Hawks and the hawks have no answer.
Multiple players have double-digit but the most impressive is Lopez because he got 33 points and 4 blocks, I guess that was his best game in the playoffs and I feel he really wants to be in the NBA Finals.
2693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market is recovering, what steps are you taking? on: July 01, 2021, 09:16:26 PM
for now we can say the market is still not stable and has the possibility that it is still very vulnerable.so we just need to relax and focus on a certain point.if we still buy at a cheap price it can actually lead to hoarding of bitcoin itself.then we must continue to monitor how the price of market conditions is, but we still keep some sufficient stock if one day it will also be needed

I don't really see a market recovery, for now, IMO, the dump will be more likely to be witnessed than the pump, it's not always a bull run, corrections are meant to happen and we are already witnessing a kind of correction that we have already seen in the past. We should open our eyes, this is not new to us, we've seen this many times, the moment we accept it, it will be then easy for us to decide on whatever market situation we will encounter.
2694  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your worst mistake on: July 01, 2021, 08:49:39 PM
I made a lot of mistakes but the worst two was not buying Bitcoin when it was $200 because I just entered the crypto industry with no understanding but still, I feel pathetic now and then selling half a Bitcoin way earlier due to some personal reasons, few of them was essential and necessary but few were not immediately required. So, I do feel bad for these reasons and I consider them as a mistake and a worst one.
I do not think that not buying at the time when bitcoin was at 200 dollars for each coin was a mistake, after all you say that you just entered the industry and you simply did not had the knowledge to be able to hold those coins no matter what, it only seems a mistake in hindsight now that we have seen the price of bitcoin reaching such high prices, in fact many people back then were pessimistic and did not believe that bitcoin could reach 1k, which shows that many things have certainly changed since then.
We are always concerned about the risk, and because investing in bitcoin is a high risk, only a few would really take the risk, hence only a few got rewarded for the success of bitcoin. We cannot say "what if I bought in the past?", that's a mistake, you are thinking of the past when there's an opportunity now, just move on, accept the mistake and correct it now, bitcoin may have reached $60k already but it's not the ATH forever.
2695  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC Go for Another All Time High This Year? on: July 01, 2021, 01:33:40 PM
I think that we will see another ATH before this year ends, I think that with 6 months or so left, bitcoin can still do something miraculous and get another ATH or probably two more ATH. I always believe that when bitcoin is constantly on the low, the price will rally real high kind of like an arrow being pulled back.
We can't be hopeless anyway and yet the market price of Bitcoin still healthy but that gonna be impossible to make another run surpassing $60k within this year. I'm not really thinking negatively but sometimes we have to accept that not all the time the market is in bullish season and the fact that most of the experience we have in the previous years, the bear season will follow next to Bullrun. And I think, we might face that again as we are done with the great season of the market.
2696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to make good profits through ICOs? on: July 01, 2021, 12:48:34 PM
To make good profits through ICOs is possible but its very hard to find such ICOs. Most of the ICOs turn into scam and they just want to stole people's money. Without proper research it is not wise to invest in ICOs.
You can never find such an ICO, I mean, their time has done already (last 2017) and we are now moving to Defi and NFT projects.
I could say that during their time many investors had made a huge profit as the market is in Bullrun but after the hypes, they are dying and some turn to scams. Most of them are already abandoned by their developers doing an exit scam and until now, people are still hoping that they could make some money from them? It just a waste of time for me.
2697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: June 30, 2021, 09:26:53 PM

If you look at the odds, Manny Pacquiao is so undervalued, it's what we called an opportunity for bettors to take that good value as an underdog bet, don't mind what people say or media says, they are just trying to mislead us, the real winner here is surely Pacquiao and that odds is just an advance Christmas gift. There's no way the fight will be blocked, that's why theres' an amount involved because Manny will have to pay that amount if he lose in the lawsuit filed against him.

No! I am surely looking forward to Pacquiao winning this, definitely, that underdog status of Manny Pacquiao in this fight will surely give us a lot of sum when he wins, it is surely an opportunity, I believe Pacman definitely going to win over Spence, there is no doubt the speed and power of Pacman never faded, and that lawsuit that McGregor's manager been filed to Pacquiao is just to get attention, in my opinion, they really want a Pacquiao VS Garcia fight, but because of that issue, I think there will never be a fight.

If they will fight, it would be better but if Pacquiao wins, the Pacquiao vs Garcia fight would not be interesting anymore as Garcia loses to Spence in their fight. I thought that Manny is once again underestimated, his achievement was overlooked because of his age despite no evidence that tells he is slowing down already.
2698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 30, 2021, 09:16:11 PM
The injury gotten by Giannis is so scary and Bucks now is endangered  if Giannis cannot really play on the rest of this series.

Very scary, in fact, their betting odds for the championship is now 4.00, before that loss and injury of Giannis, it was 2+.. I think the injury is serious, but we will know after the MRI which he will be scheduled soon. If it will result of Giannis being out in the series, I think the Clippers will have a big chance of winning the series, lol.
This is what we called anything could really happen when the game isnt over yet. Expect the unexpected to happen and these injuries are actually been part of any sports and now Giannis had

been injured which i do see a bit serious but for now it wasnt confirmed yet and lets hope that he's fine. This is actually a turn of events and do give out even more chance for Clippers on winning this.

I dont see that one could really heal up on a short time but well thats just my presumption.

I have a feeling that Giannis might not be able to play in the series anymore. He has been a major help for the team as they are their star player, but with Giannis injury, it might aggravate if he forced to play, of course, he doesn't want to end up like KD that has aggravated his injury before and missed the whole season because of that decision.

I guess, with or without him, Bucks would be able to handle the Hawks, and it will be a close series game.

He won't be back in game 5, that's according to the latest update.

Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo: Officially doubtful for Game 5
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire
Antetokounmpo (knee) is listed as doubtful for Thursday's Game 5 against the Hawks.

The good news for Milwaukee is Antetokounmpo did not suffer any structural damage to his left knee, but his prospects for returning during the Eastern Conference Finals appear to be relatively bleak. The Bucks will handle his status on a game-to-game basis, but as of Wednesday afternoon, the team will brace to be without its two-time MVP as it heads into an extremely pivotal Game 5.

It's time for the Bucks to show the world that they are not only relying on Giannis to win.
We have high paid superstar, Lopez, Middleton and Holiday should be able to handle this and protect their home by winning game 5.
2699  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to deal with bear markets on: June 30, 2021, 01:24:48 PM
How to deal with the market?
Pretty simple, just do what you think is right. I'm not gonna say just hold or sell it, not unless if it is needed.

The bear season will end up shortly and passes by (just for me). I do hold and patiently wait for the recovery, which I think I was right. May OP is also right because that his opinion, but I'm doubted if the other will do the same. But for me, do make a decision that you will never be in regrets or at least not at worse.
2700  Economy / Economics / Re: The trend of prices is still upward, any hope for downward? on: June 30, 2021, 12:57:27 PM
The fact that the crypto prices boomed during the pandemic is one of the responses to the crisis.
But Pump and dump schemes are present due to the high demand, so I think the market decline is only short-term.
I don't think so. Because those who have been in crypto will be taking the benefits and sad to say that only a very small percentage of the total population knows about this. How does that become a solution? And those poor people could have no chance to prioritize investing but of course, they took themselves first.

If we think that prices will dump, that seems so hard this time until the pandemic still exists. We almost close to $25k, but the market recovers so fast as the demand still high and moving back to $30k. Maybe, we're not seeing $20k Bitcoin's price back again.
