2721  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC SCAM Proof on: March 16, 2018, 01:43:58 PM
First of all, in the beginning, its start with rollin.io but that site closed. why and when ? i dont know. after that i buy / sell / buy / sell too much operations. today... i can't explain

What a luck  Undecided. But anyway the owner of rollin.io has an account here and left some of his contact info: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=346430
So you can try talking to him although I don't know if he have still kept such data or will be willing to help

It was last year though

For the trades, your trading history plus deposit and withdrawal history should be fine.

I PMed hitbtc (and also on facebook) asking to respond here and provide assistance in your problem. hopefully they respond.
2722  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC SCAM Proof on: March 16, 2018, 10:49:06 AM
i guess i can't understand clearly. if i get from another country casino, how can prove it ? and they are not trust me too because its a lie.

Are we talking about an online gambling site or not? At any rate they should have a site which you can contact

other hand people can create a photoshopped images. how acceptable for KYC....

Yes they can but depending on how good hitbtc is in verifying, those people can be caught which can lead to forever locked accounts

HitBTC its just a scam i think.

I'm not trying to defend hitbtc here, but you clearly have two options here:

1. Try to provide what they are asking and hopefully gain access to your funds again
2. Accept that they are a scam as well as the fact that you will not ever get your funds again.

You've said that your life is at stake here which is why you should be doing whatever it takes to get your funds again.

Quote from: mehceh
Loan agreement or statement -> We haven't any agreement like that

Then ask for it. I'm sure your lender will be happy to make it if you will say that it is necessary in order for you to pay your loan.

Quote from: mehceh
Lottery/Gambling win -> It's illegal also... Haven't any proof

It's not necessarily have to be illegal unless you are in a country where gambling is illegal.
According to the link I gave you earlier you have to give them an"Evidence from the lottery company/winning receipt" which you can also ask.

Quote from: mehceh
OK what will be my clients stolen that (no but if) ? I have no idea their source and they can't share with me also. Because ZERO knowledge about blockchain.
Our agreements just on speak because it's not a legal/illegal job. Laws not accept/understand cryptocoin yet.

That will be their problem but honestly the chance of it happening is fairly low so don't worry about that. You just have to obtain the documents proving your loan and wnnings you don't have to explain the whole blockchain technology. Just ask them and say that it is necessary for trading.
2724  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Spectrocoin.com doesnt work on: March 16, 2018, 06:51:30 AM
I have tried with IE. Now my virus guard is blocking the site. AVG says the url is infected

Add the spectrocoin to your whitelist then. Here's the tutorial: https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=How-to-exclude-file-folder-or-website-from-AVG-scanning&supportType=home

Maybe something's also blocking the site in the previous browser you've used  Huh What browser is it?

EDIT:

Same thing has happened to some user here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577176.msg32407573#msg32407573

Spectrocoin said they have informed avg regarding this, for now you can add the site in it's whitelist or just disable it.
2725  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Spectrocoin.com doesnt work on: March 16, 2018, 05:11:05 AM
Tried logging in >>>> Seems fine
Tried using with a VPN/Proxy >>>> Seems fine

So I have to agree with the others that the problem is most likely on your side although if you have already tried the above suggestions,
Send a PM to their authorized staff here: SpectroCoin_support
2726  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC SCAM Proof on: March 16, 2018, 04:58:16 AM
They want to proof of source my transactions for KYC. I said all knowledge about it but they not accept.

You said that this user from reddit is also you right? Did you enter the name of the exchange on the proof of source? If so, that explains why hitbtc asked for it again, it's because something's wrong with it

news; team asking for balance sources but i actually wrote all information about it 12 days ago.

asking for where is the source ?

how can i know that ? i bought with my bitcoins in past from exchange sites. (etherdelta etc.) i am not an elephant and i can't remember that also i am not a blockchain expert.

/u/hitbtc

anyone knows any idea for that ?!

They want a proof or source of your funds because this will validate that your funds came from a legitimate way in short not stolen, hacked etc... Your words obviously won't prove that as it needs to be backed by documents.

Read this for further info [and to know what document(s) are needed]: https://support.coinify.com/Knowledgebase/Article/View/200/0/what-is-a-proof-of-source-of-funds
2727  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Asicminer.co has anyone heard of this company? on: March 16, 2018, 04:00:09 AM
I don't know the techinical stuffs about mining so I can't really give any significant information but this is a new product so unless you want to be a "tester" you better wait until an actual review comes.

I couldn't find any review but there's a guy on youtube who got contacted by the company.

WOW! Thanks for this awesome review! Miner Digi, we will be happy if you visit us in Shenzhen to see ASICminer in a person and review it. Please contact us if you are interested: info@asicminer.co

That’s a powerful statement. 💪🏽 let’s set up the meeting.

Please note that you shouldn't decide based on a single review.
2728  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Legit Resellers for Antminers on: March 16, 2018, 03:15:45 AM
We sell on Amazon and have over 500 reviews with a 100% feedback score. Just watch out for cryptocrane.info, they're a scam site that is impersonating us.

Anyone else deal with CryptoCrane? I sent them a PM here on the board, and also a public note on the V9 thread that I'd done so, and they ignored me entirely. If they're a legit seller, I'm not sure I'd understand why they would ignore a potential customer who's asking about payment methods.

I told them in PM that I'd be fine just using PayPal. They seemed legit enough to trust... but then ignored me... so maybe my trust was misplaced?

Can anyone vouch?

I've taken a quick look and they seemed legit (Trust history, amazon feedbacks, youtube etc..)

In any case you will be fine as long as you will use a reversible payment method or/and it is covered by amazon's buyer protection (return policy, refunds etc.).
Be sure to check the product's warranty terms.

But is there any reason why you can't buy in bitmain? The price is less there: https://shop.bitmain.com/main.htm?lang=en
2729  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BITCOIN ORIENTATION WITH FEE? on: March 16, 2018, 02:01:16 AM
If it's just a cheap fee then I won't mind since they need something to get by e.g. rental fees etc.. Most likely the purpose is for people to be aware in bitcoin

But its a different story if it's expensive as hell since they are basically taking advantage on people who didn't bother to search.

Anyways, Did they give what topics are they gonna cover? Have you seen it?

2730  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC SCAM Proof on: March 14, 2018, 09:52:57 PM
they want to proof of source (again). KYC think. What if i can't pass that process ?

still no solution on #224572 and no one cares anymore.

Again? Maybe somethings wrong with the previous one?. In any case you have to do whatever they ask otherwise consider your coins donated  Cry
It's just a KYC, it's not an exam, I'm sure you can pass it lol.

But exchanges are getting worse day by day huh. It's better not to transact with a huge amount of money next time as it is often the cause of this kind of issues.
2731  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Foxbit lost bitcoins and stopped working !!! on: March 14, 2018, 08:28:10 PM
Foxbit - the largest crypto currency exchange in Brazil, has not worked for more than 72 hours. The reason was a technical error that allowed users to withdraw their bitcoins-balances twice. In total, the company lost 30 bitcoins worth about 270,000 dollars.
fun moment! even such giants can fail!what is your opinion?
That's a disaster inside the company loss, it's count like a 100 percent failed moment as a famous exchange. Yes it's a fun moment to all the users but it's a serious kind of issue specially if you hold the largest crypto currency exchange in a famous country like Brazil. I also felt loss when I read this thread even if I'm not a part of the team Foxbit. Hoping that this is a fake news folks.

Seems like everything is fine now.

“All funds are protected, both in reais and in bitcoins. Several clients have already returned duplicate values and we are in touch with everyone. We have a specific fund to cover possible losses and the funds in reais are safe in our bank accounts. The platform was neither hacked nor stolen.

Buuutt remember, no matter how trusted they are, as long as your funds are in a third party you are not safe so don't keep them there for too long

A good way to clarify if it is fake or not is by going to their site or SNS to look for information because they would certainly release their statement when issues like this comes up.

Or you can also find a credible site like this one:

So i lost the .dat and priv key as it was on that machine. that was 2013 when it was taken and clearly never accessed.  -- just fyi

Your request sounds impossible to me as you just lost the two crucial piece necessary to recover your funds.

Also private keys can't be reversed. Is this the whitepaper you're talking about? https://bitcoin.org/en/bitcoin-paper
2733  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: COINAPULT dead? on: March 14, 2018, 05:03:29 PM
I have the same problem,
I lost my iPhone (so my google Authenticator, so my 2FA verification codes, and so my coinapult account). I made a ticket in their website, #727658, I?ve called their office many times, but no answer nor action from them. I think coinapult is dead.

Please help me about this matter,

How long have you been waiting? Are you sure that you've called at the given time:

Quote
Business hours:
Monday – Friday
9:00 – 18:00 (UTC -5)

Just to be clear coinapult is not dead but they look like one lol. Read this thread for further info: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2751146
Also, The fact that they're still on mycelium (AFAIK) means they're still in business.
2734  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Paid too much, what happens now? on: March 11, 2018, 09:04:58 AM
Well it's another three weeks later and I still have heard nothing - how long to wait??

Have you already tried the live chat you've used with your  previous problem?. Is this the site: https://www.2pay4you-holding.com/contact, If it is I found a telephone number.
But are they usually slow in responding to mails/inquiries? because if it is, then that 3 weeks is normal lol. *coughs at poloniex*
If it's the other way around, it looks to me that they don't care anymore  Huh because if they do, they would have responded faster like usual.

At any rate, if you're serious on giving the excess back, you have no choice except to wait. For now you can withdraw the original amount
2735  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: holybitcoin scam? on: March 10, 2018, 04:08:46 PM
I know this is an old post but would like to update some reviews I have purchased over 15k worth of mining eqe cables etc. etc. and only ever had one issue with equ. Which happened during the holidays and we as everyone was quite busy and had a hard time catching each other online. Even then once we did get caught up Scott made it right and I could not ask for a better person to deal with. In a time of scams every place holy bitcoin is a safe haven. If you do some searches for that name and holyscott you can find a blog that talks about his life. In general he seems like a real stand up dude and I wish him all the best.

But isn't it weird that there's only a few reviews about them even though they've been in business for years (since 2013 according to whois)?

Furthermore the site itself is outdated in terms of design and connection security, not to mention it's also anonymous (see whois links below)

2736  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: https://tidbit.store/ on: March 10, 2018, 01:08:21 PM
Edit: Like this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Antminer-S9-14TH-s-Bitcoin-miner-https-tidbit-store/132532022901?hash=item1edb862e75:g:0MUAAOSwGltaokxj
Soon its gone and comes back again. Should report to ebay....

thx mate

It definitely stinks, look at his reviews as a seller they were all "more than a year ago". I'm thinking that it's most likely a bought/hacked account which is not new in ebay.
My veridict still stays the same.
2737  Other / Meta / Re: Account Hacked (Ethereum Signed Message) on: March 10, 2018, 12:35:25 PM
what should I do? I never post my BTC address in this forum but just in my profile and was deleted by me

Nothing. Refer to this thread:

There are alternative ways of proving ownership, but they take too much time. If I point you to this thread, you can't prove ownership properly, and then I ignore your future PMs, this means that I'm not going to recover your account. Create a new one.

And from the looks of it, it seems you've already settled in to your alt  Undecided

Lesson learned! Next time stake your address here and archive it using this tool: http://archive.is/
2738  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies not allowed to participate in many threads on: March 10, 2018, 10:39:16 AM
Other than the serious discussion and ivory tower, you should be able to post in all boards AFAIK. Read: Rules for Serious Discussion and Ivory Tower

Also if you did not know, there is a waiting period before you can post another one:

Code:
waittime = 360;
if(activity >= 15)
        waittime = (int)(90 - activity);
if(activity >= 60)
        waittime=(int)(34.7586 - (0.0793103 * activity));
if(activity >= 100)
        waittime = max((int)(14-(activity/50)), 4);

And this may sound dumb but have you tried checking if the thread is locked or not?
2739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best Alternative To Coinmarketcap on: March 10, 2018, 07:49:40 AM
You can't rely on a single list though since sometimes some information are not covered, for example a particular coin exist on list #1 but not on #2 or not all of it's markets are included etc...

which is why to get the most accurate information, it's best to use at least three. Here's what I usually use

2740  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Abucoins on: March 09, 2018, 10:17:08 PM
Judging from their reviews it seems they are:

https://www.cryptocompare.com/exchanges/abucoins/overview
https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/abucoins/
https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/7oihkt/abucoins_they_are_by_far_the_best_exchange_and/

They're also listed on coinmarketcap: https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/abucoins/

But I would still consider them as "new" so don't store large amounts of money since new exchanges can easily turn into scam, it already happened a couple (a lot??) of times.
