2941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this a start of bull rally in ALTCOIN? on: March 27, 2022, 05:34:45 AM
Interestingly, even though the prices went up, the volume did not go up, in fact it went lower. Which means that there are less people selling for sure, or at least less amount being sold, but it also means there are less buyers as well, buyers just outweigh the sellers drop that’s it. Instead of 100 buy 100 sell, it’s 70 buy, 60 sell, and that’s how we went up.

This is layman’s terms of course, anyone who knows the data could check it and see. But in the end, this is still not really that much of a big deal, it is still a quite bad deal if you ask me. This means that the moment sellers rise up again, if the buyers stay the same, the price could crash very badly.
2942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: March 26, 2022, 05:43:44 AM
Vettel not being available this week as well should be changing a bit of the odds for sure. It is not easy for Aston Martin to matter this season, they already looked bad when the cars first revealed, then they lost Vettel and now they are going to just face the fact that they are only one of the 2 teams that are "fighting" for the bottom spot. Williams and them.

Mclaren will fix their issues, Red Bull will definitely fix them, Williams and Aston Martin doesn't seem to have "issues", they are just plain bad and will not matter. It's sad to see Seb being at this stage of his career racing for this type of team, but that is the reality, what can we do.
2943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa Conference League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: March 25, 2022, 10:14:58 PM
Roma faced one of the easiest teams they could have faced. This was the reason why conference league was created to begin with, all these teams that would have hard time in any other cup, could at least face each other in the conference league and would have a chance to win it all. Roma would probably have hard time being out of the group stage in europa, or at the very best case would have a chance to lose in the first elimination phase.

Instead, they are here and trying to win. That is exactly what happened to Marseille and that is why they are here. All in all I would assume that it is easier for teams to try to win something lower, instead of losing something higher.
2944  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia considers accepting Bitcoin for oil and gas on: March 25, 2022, 09:16:47 PM
There are too many people who would like this not to happen. I mean it is clear that people do not like Russia right now, but that is really not the case for most of the time in the crypto world since it is decentralized. We can't just decline to let people who we dislike to use bitcoin, if it is decentralized then we just need to accept the fact that it is decentralized and do not really focus on anything else.

If you really want to see bitcoin to be great, then we are going to see both Russia and Ukraine use it, you can't just allow one and disprove of the other one. At the end of the day Russia will be doing fine and we should be happy that bitcoin is used this way.
2945  Economy / Economics / Re: Thailand ban using crypto for payments on: March 25, 2022, 06:26:25 AM
In the year 2022, we should not have news like this. I mean Thailand is known to be a cheap place, people are not making a lot of people and this means that we should not really be banning them to use crypto, we should be supporting them.

People from Thailand and Philippines and many other smaller nations like that ended up working hardcore just for Axie owners so that they could bring in food to their tables, that tells you how little it takes for them to live, just an income from the game itself allowed them to get richer. So, if you ban crypto payments in Thailand, you are not helping the nation get better, you are hurting the nation for sure.
2946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PUBG Publisher Krafton Partners With Solana Labs on: March 24, 2022, 09:18:52 PM
I would guess that they would deal with something totally different. We are not going to see PUBG game having NFT type of stuff, all those skins and weapons and clothes and what not can't be turned to NFT that easily when the game has been out there for so many years already.

I am sure that they are bothered by the fact that they lost so many customers, they were once upon a time one of the most actively played game and they lost that to other games, even fortnight is probably not at the top right now. But at the end of the day people need to realize you can't just expect these places to add NFT right away. It will probably a new game with NFT in it.
2947  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expect Bullrun this year again! on: March 24, 2022, 08:26:50 PM
If we are to really just talk about the history repeating itself, then the people who have suggested this should have already sold most of thejr bags last year November-december since those were the best times to sell since by history repeating itself we should be expecting a bearish time or a winter for the crypto industry. Currently bitcoin is trying to push through 45k but I don't expect it to reach thag price just yet since we are approaching the weekends again. An honest opinion amd already a bullish outlook is 70k with a maximum of 90k for this year.
Unfortunately people only "talk" about how it will repeat itself, and not act accordingly. The simplest proof of this is that everyone knows that you should buy when the price is at the bottom and low, and you should sell when it peaks and high right? Well by that logic, how could it even get low? If nobody sells because it is going low and wants to buy because it is going low, it can't even get low by that logic, same goes for the higher prices.

Same idea could be used for the history repeats itself, if it repeats itself then we could get very very wealthy all together, just buy at the same time, and sell at the same time and it will repeat forever and we will get richer and it is so simple. Hence why it won't happen that way.
2948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The new star of the stock market is APE COIN!! on: March 24, 2022, 07:28:03 PM
It is still marvelous to see that people are willing to spend their money on this. It is the most latest memecoin and people are going crazy over it and it is having a blast in the market right now. The moment people realize that this has absolutely zero utility and should not be bought at all, people will be very upset that they bought it.

The drop on doge and shiba is obvious, sure they are ranked highly right now but the peak to right now is more than any market fall, it is much bigger and people lost a lot, bitcoin went down too but not this much, neither eth or bnb. So, ape will have the same faith, it will drop to crazy low levels and make people upset for sure.
2949  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Getting more skills in trading on: March 24, 2022, 06:54:10 PM
experience is an important part of cryptocurrency trading but even at that do not underestimate the importance of learning cryptocurrency trading before looking for gaining experiences. You don’t just create an account on exchange and start trading without having a clue of what you are even doing. You wouldn’t even know how to put a call or put option.

So, you have to gain the knowledge first and know all these things before you start your trading, and then you already have it in mind what you are about to do. And with experience you will get to better whatever knowledge that you have gotten from your training. Experience is the practical part of what you have been taught.
People need to realize that the road to success is paved with pain and mistakes. You can't become a great trader by just being one, people are not born as great traders or terrible traders. You become one, and in order to become one you need to learn and do better. This is why I believe that it is quite important for people to understand they need to spend a lot of time at this.

You do not become a great software developer overnight, you do not become a great accountant overnight, and just the same you do not become a great trader overnight neither. Yes, the difference is that you may risk so much of your money into it, but that doesn't change the result.
2950  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips and tricks for day trading on: March 24, 2022, 10:03:20 AM
Simplest trick that I could teach anyone is not to give up on coins if they are good name ones. I mean sure there are some that will go to zero and will never recover but you shouldn't have invested into them in the first place. If you invested into BTC lets say since it is the biggest, and it has been low for a quite long time, do not give up and sell and hope to rebuy at a lower price.

What you should do instead is invest only a portion of your money into btc, and if it goes down then you could buy some more. This way, even if you are wrong when trading at the very least you could recover quickly by dropping your averages and make profit when it goes up.
2951  Economy / Speculation / Re: $500 for Bitcoin - 2030 on: March 23, 2022, 09:24:51 PM
I did something similar about 7 years ago, and also around 2 years ago as well. The one that I did 7 years ago was a bit of risk that I took, I needed the money, I really needed it, I had so much debt and I was in a terrible situation in life. Then I quit my job and worked in crypto industry a bit more and during the 2017 peak periods just sold all of them and got myself to a great economical situation.

I wasn't rich or anything, but I wasn't in poverty anymore. After that I just started working normally, still in crypto and remote work, but took me about 2 years to get back to saving some money and put that into bitcoin in 2020, as we all know that has been a great deal so far. Ever since 2020 I have been putting up some money every month into crypto.
2952  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin at $1 000 000 by 2030 on: March 23, 2022, 08:20:12 PM
I do believe that 1+ million dollars will eventually happen but I also believe that it will mainly be something that happens very far down the road and it requires us to realize there will be plenty of bear markets along the way as well. So just because we believe that it will go up, doesn't mean that we should focus on buying more and more and more. Just focus on the drops, whenever it is in the bear market and crashes, just buy some more, since it will take long time before it is 1+ million dollars, that means you will have plenty of chances to buy at the bottom.
This is right, we will be 1+ million dollars but we will have a lot of down times along the way. The fact that people who are bullish on bitcoin buying at all times is basically saying they are fine by buying 1 bitcoin at 60k instead of buying 2 at 30k, the 1 million price would mean that it was a 1 million dollar worth of a mistake.

I am not saying that do not buy bitcoin, but people should focus on buying bitcoin when it goes down. If it is down a lot, then buying it would make sense. You can't buy at 5k again, that was once upon a time and now gone, but at the end of the day you could still wait for it to go down a lot, like a month ago.
2953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Shiba INU Losing its Grip Over the Bullish Momentum, Will SHIB Price plunge hard on: March 23, 2022, 03:28:24 AM
There are way too many people talking about shiba these days. Do you guys all think about shiba all this much, or is there like a secret shiba place on bitcointalk where people talk about it like crazy? I mean the reality is that we should not be feeling all that badly about this situation, just focus on the fact that we are doing alright, and shiba is a memecoin that you could avoid and rest of the crypto, there are some shitcoins and scamcoins as well.

But, if you find the real good ones, like btc, eth, bnb, ltc, avax and so forth then you know what you are getting into and they do not like about what they are. Just focus on those if you are unsure about some memecoin.
2954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: March 22, 2022, 09:52:08 PM
There is some difference between bad luck and technical malfunctions in such technical types as F1, although of course at times it is almost equivalent Wink You can be a very cool racer, but you can leave the race because of problems with the engine or fuel pump and it is still unknown what this is a design flaw, a staff flaw or really elementary bad luck, which is very difficult to reproduce in another situation. I think Mercedes will still show its real strength during the season, after all, the experience of racing engineers has not gone away, but there have just been some changes in the design of the car.
This is why the argument for "who is the best driver" always falls short. Because in F1 there is a part of luck involved, but even if luck wasn't involved, then we are talking about car difference between teams as well. Mercedes is known to dominate the last 7-8 seasons and that is understandable, but at the same time we have seen Mercedes became a bit worse this year.

They would have been on par with Bottas and Alfa Romeo he is driving. They should be thankful that Max and Perez got out, which I know is part of the game but at the same time something Mercedes couldn't do themselves, so that part was luck involved part and I believe that without any luck, Mercedes may need to get ready for third place this year, let alone being first or second.
2955  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin at $1 000 000 by 2030 on: March 22, 2022, 09:18:11 PM
I see a lot of speculation and people saying it will go up to $100k and even $1M, but I see that as just noise. The majority of Bitcoin believers are convinced that Bitcoin can succeed. Feel free to express your opinions, but be sure to provide reasoning for your opinions. If winner-take-all is the case, bitcoin will reign supreme. I personally will win big next ATH since I am doing HODL DCA. I really don't have any choice. Maybe it won't happen until the next halving, but who cares?
I agree that having a lot of ATH would be a bit too naive to think these days, I mean it could happen time to time but not at all times but in the end we are going to be doing fine for sure. What I do not believe however is the fact that we could not really expect low things from bitcoin neither. We just need to realize the fact that bitcoin is a long term project and always goes up in the long term.

We just need to focus on the fact that in a few years we could be 100k+ and that could be something normal for us, we will get used to 100k eventually, then 300k, then 500k, we will get used to all of these and they will not be big numbers at one point. We just need time to get there.
2956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SHIBA INU - The Next gem in Altcoin industry on: March 22, 2022, 08:45:45 PM
When we are talking about a coin that is hyped because of a meme, do you really think that charts would give you a healthy view? I have to say that it is not really as good as you think, and the only possible way for it to go up would be the market going up. I do agree that it is still connected to the market, so if bitcoin, eth, bnb and so forth all the market goes up 10%+ then there is a chance shiba could go 10% higher as well.

But, it will not move independently like it has no relevance. We are not going to see shiba skyrocketing suddenly when the market is stable right now. It will do whatever the market does hence why it is not a good investment, if I want market movements, I would buy bitcoin, much safer option.
2957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To all of the die-hard crypto airdrop hunters who can hardly relate…. on: March 22, 2022, 11:00:23 AM
Lol, this is so funny and so true. And most of the projects do not even go this far anymore because people already learned this method. I have known this for like 3 years or even longer right now. I remember early days of ICO period in 2017 and so forth where projects did this on ETH, when gas fee of ETH was basically nothing. People are still doing this, and there are still victims falling for this too. Not as much as used to, but there are still some people who do.

Remember, when you are getting an airdrop, it is the project that is responsible to pay you because you helped them with something. It could be a twitter follow, or a telegram group join, or anything else and you should be getting paid. If they ask anything else, they are a scam.
2958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Donating With Bitcoin on: March 22, 2022, 08:40:19 AM
I would suggest that the place that is trying to get the donations should open it up, and not you. In your message you said "Why don't I open a Bitcoin donation campaign to reach more people?" and that means you are planning on starting one yourself, getting the money and everyone should trust that you will give those donations to the mosque or in any case whatever is the donation reason.

If the place that is getting the donations opens one up then I would support it, not this one directly but if I were to donate somewhere one day, I would not donate to third parties, I will donate directly. Like would you give me money so that I could send donations to Ukraine? Or would you donate to Ukraine directly? That's what's going on right now.
2959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 22, 2022, 04:52:29 AM
It was a surprise for me that Psg was eliminated by Real Madrid.  They had an advantageous score in the first match against Real Madrid, but were eliminated after losing 3-1 in the rematch.  They will now only play for the league 1 championship.  It is almost certain that they will win.  There is a big difference between them and the second team.  They will lose Mbappe at the end of the year.  They should make a transfer to fill his place.  Now what I'm wondering is who will Psg add to the team next year?
It was a surprise for everyone that Real Madrid managed to beat PSG, specially that last goal coming so soon after the second one really made PSG really tremble and not recover from the defeat at all. Mbappe was definitely sure about leaving, I have no doubt about that but after that game, I am 100% certain that he made his decision a lot easier for sure, he wanted to leave and he has a great reason to leave right now.

With Mbappe on the roster, Real will definitely be a lot better team next year. Not like they are bad, they are at the top of La Liga right now and managed to beat PSG to further in champions league, but with Mbappe they will also be a lot better and easier to be there.
2960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 21, 2022, 09:30:32 PM
I have always said that it isn't always about being the best scorer, or best passer, or best stats. Even in today's era, if Lebron ended up with a few more rings (which he could have between all those finals) it is not about winning, or stats or anything like that.

Some players just have some aura to them and that makes them the best player ever for most people. Jordan for example has 6 rings, awesome right? Bill Russel has 11, never seen him considered GOAT, why? Because he won his rings in "bad era" and why would Jordans 6 be treated differently? Or Kobes 5? Robert Horry has like 7. All things considered, Jordan has less points than Malone, and yet we all know who was better.
