1941  Other / Politics & Society / Re: High taxes and ‘no future’ spark fears of mass exodus of young Britons on: December 07, 2022, 02:45:21 PM
The higher you earn the higher you pay is a decent living. I mean people who make about 52k means that you are making over 4k, and people who make over 100k means you are making nearly 10k per month, that is very rich in the UK, you could live comfortably with that.

And I always believed that people should be taxed high if they are over 1 million as well, and I mean make sure that they can't take their money out of the nation, it has to be something harsh for hiding money in Cayman islands or something, punish those people a lot, earn billions from British but then not spend a dime on tax back to British? Damn me if that's allowed, fix that and you will not tax people who earn under 50k at all, zero tax rate.
1942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BNB Coin Hit $300 Mark in 2023? on: December 06, 2022, 08:41:21 PM
No doubt about it, I am 100% sure that it will hit 300 bucks, that's nothing to BNB at all, it is a common price. I think it will more like be 500 dollars by somewhere close to end of 2023, we are going to see it actually go super high. That doesn't mean that it will happen in January though, maybe in October who knows? So, just because it hasn't reached where you want it to reach, do not let it go, you should still invest into it for sure.

I personally believe that it will go a lot higher, but that would require a lot of waiting and in order for you to make a profit, you need to buy it and also wait, you can't just do one and not the other and expect to make a profit.
1943  Economy / Economics / Re: DOJ asks for independent probe of FTX, to gather evidence of fraud on: December 06, 2022, 06:38:34 PM
To be fair justice department is not really great at investigations, and that's a bit of trouble. If there is someone they dislike, they will go overboard, if there is someone they like, they will give a leeway, they are not to be trusted.

This is American justice system we are talking about, so it is clear to me that we are not going to see a fair trial about him or the company. One of the biggest reasons why I am glad I am not American, we have seen them mistreat blacks for centuries, and for some reason they still think we should trust their justice system for some reason, we all know everyone gets an unfair trial there at all times, depending on who they are.
1944  Economy / Economics / Re: The Labor Market Is Broken on: December 06, 2022, 05:23:52 PM
The idea that they should accept 0.01 "free money is free money" has nothing to do with employment, that is the problem. There are thousands of people working everyday and not making as much as the CEO, and that is the biggest problem.

I am not saying that one worker should be making as much as the CEO, of course not, but if CEO yearly earning equals to over 1000 of his employees, that's unfair and it is not free money neither these workers are working 8 hours a day minimum and for 5 days a week minimum as well. That is over 2000 hours per year, and we are talking about 1 CEO worth over 2.000.000 hours work done by the employees, do you think that is fair? It is not fair and it is not for nothing.
1945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano and their new privacy blockchain/token project! on: December 06, 2022, 02:38:10 PM
I feel like privacy tokens are old news and they are not going to get that much news anymore. I understand the logic and I understand the need for it but that won't happen and we are not going to see it.

Just realize that privacy is something governments are very very against, and people are not that much in love to keep it going. At some point, in many nations bitcoin wasn't allowed neither but we kept it going, whereas in the privacy world when governments said no, many people said who cares. Which means that between governments being against it, and people are not showing support for it, there won't be that many people who will invest into such a thing at all.
1946  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mark Mobius Prediction Bitcoin could hit $10k at 2023 on: December 05, 2022, 06:20:23 PM
There are too many people guessing that they would hit it big, but the reality is that these so called experts are not really experts on the subject. They usually do not even realize that we are talking about something volatile and unexpected, which means that you are not going to really get anything out of this.

It would be a lot smarter if you just picked what you know, and that way it would be a lot better to talk about that, but these people just like to talk about whatever is trending at that moment to get more attention. What you need to learn about these big name people (and this guy is not even that) is the fact that they need to get attention or they will be gone.
1947  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Price Hit $23,000 in Q1 2023? on: December 05, 2022, 05:15:33 PM
It does look like there is a good chance that people could end up with a good higher price soon. I am not saying that 23k will be easy to reach though, it will be a tough one considering how hard it is already with the current situation.

We could always end up with a great deal of increase in price later on, it doesn't have to be Q1, and it could be anything else. I hope that people will realize that it's going to take a while, maybe it could be tomorrow too, bitcoin is a volatile littler bugger and it could be 23k tomorrow very easily if we all wanted to, but at the same time that is not realistic and I am expecting at least end of Q1 if it ever happens.
1948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 04, 2022, 08:48:02 PM
The hardest part about the top four for other teams is that Liverpool is still there, and they are not sure what's going to happen. They are at 22 points with 14 games, assuming lets say it became 25 points with 15 games, that's 4 points away from top four.

Now, the question is that will they be moving forward with everything that they have and win more games than others and disrupt that top four and get in there? Or will they end up playing badly again and not get in there. If they somehow do get in top four, then it is Arsenal and City and Liverpool, leaving just one team available for there, and that's a tough question to answer. You never know, this is last years almost champions in both premier league and ucl, so anything could happen.
1949  Economy / Economics / Re: Somebody’s been on a gold-buying bender. It’s not clear who — or why. on: December 04, 2022, 06:58:40 PM
Unfortunately there is a big reason why nations don't care about gold as much as they used to, because they just print money as they want and not care about gold standard anymore, you can print 10 trillion dollars worth today, the value would drop significantly and cause trouble but you can, and sometimes they do. Like nearly half of all the dollars in the world printed in the last 10-15 years.

Imagine this, for 250 years USA printed money, and that equals to last 10-15 years, how scary that is? And that is why gold is not cared about nations and governments anymore. So business' and people are buying more of it to protect themselves against anything that may happen.
1950  Economy / Economics / Re: Notable people on current and upcoming economic issues - should we be worried? on: December 04, 2022, 04:55:34 PM
I would guess that's actually good reason to get into crypto. What you do not understand is that crypto is not something you could only invest as an asset and nothing else. Crypto is a whole world where you could make a lot of money and that's the point.

If we end up with working in the crypto industry then we could get out of this recession without a problem. Look at how amazing and big crypto world is, there is a whole business world going on in there and you can find a freelancer job in there, and work in even 2-3 different jobs and make money. This means that 2-3 salaries could be earned and you could live a very comfortable life thanks to it, sure you would work 14-16 hours a day, but be richer at least.
1951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's with the Star Atlas rally ? on: December 04, 2022, 03:33:23 PM
Unfortunately, there is a big amount of money going on in the crypto world that is not attached to anything long term right now. Many people got out, and they are in cash and they could do whatever they please with it. And as we all can guess, it is not an easy thing to just keep it in control forever, it could cause a lot of trouble for many people if it goes directly to one project for a pump and dump.

This doesn't mean that Star Atlas had a pump and dump, but it also means that it wasn't one neither, it could be anything and any project. So we should always be careful with the low cap stuff, and even things like star atlas which could be considered midcap and not a low one.
1952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Terra Luna Classic - realistic prediction? on: December 03, 2022, 12:38:08 PM
Well, I would suggest you to hold on if you think that it would go up. It is not really about hate, but considering what has happened, it is very hard to trust that it could go up. It's great that you made x5 profit, but what if you didn't? That's the scary part and that is what people are afraid of at the same time.

I believe that there would be a big problem if you buy it now, and then the price starts to crash, why would you want to risk your money on something that has proven to fail before? This is not hate, this is smart investment and that is how you make some money with it, and I believe I could make money by avoiding bad hits like this.
1953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FIFA World Cup 2022: Tournament Discussion Thread for Qatar 2022 on: December 02, 2022, 06:32:04 PM
It is going to keep being an interesting world cup for sure, but at the end of the day do we really think that teams like France or Brazil would have a shocking result? Nobody considered Germany or Spain to be favourites, they believed that England would be, France would be and of course Brazil would be these are the high favourites and they are doing fine if you ask me, still some unexpected results by some of them, but they look good.

I believe one of those three will win the title and that is what matters. I am believing that we are going to end up with a good result in the long run and the winner will not be a team like Japan, that is not possible at all.
1954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 02, 2022, 05:38:23 PM
So many games to bet tomorrow, 12 games to be precise, 24 teams all playing games. I had some of the bets ready for this day. Bucks will beat Lakers, Nuggets will lose to Hawks (they are tired, I hope it works, normally Denver is a better team), Cavs beats Magic, Celtics beat Heat, Suns beats Rockets and lastly Warriors beats Bulls and that is a scary one knowing how Warriors do on away games.

This is what I imagine the games will be like but I can't guarantee anything, as per history in basketball, even the greatest teams of all times end up losing games so we never know what will happen. I am really hoping all of this hits because the return will be gigantic for me.
1955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase wallet stops support for XRP, ETC, XLM and BCH on: December 02, 2022, 03:38:02 PM
I feel like adding more and more coins doesn't matter, because even though it would be great to have one big exchange with ALL coins and tokens, like coinmarketcap but exchange, that would actually hurt the market more than it helps it.

Reality is that we shouldn't really have a centralized exchange with all of the coins and tokens in. Coinbase did the right thing and took it slow, because they wanted to make sure that they perfect the thing they had on their hands before they move towards adding more. Now they have idiotic things like apecoin involved, just because they know they could have made some profit from the trading fee's, and of course when those shitcoins go down in volume, they will delist them all.
1956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Animoca Brands on: December 02, 2022, 02:36:02 PM
This company is a giant in the industry they are in but they are also not using the money wisely. I mean if you and I were given 2 billion dollars, and I mean I have no idea who anyone here is, we would use it a lot better, I guarantee it.

So, imagine how terrible they must be spending their money that I guarantee some stranger to be better? Sure, they may end up losing that money and you may too, but that's the same result. I know, with 2 billion dollars, I would be able to build something that would be beyond anyone's understanding of how that was. Think about it this way, games like god of war or red dead redemption costs about quarter of it, so you could build 4 games at that quality, and these are high end games, nothing even comes close to them.
1957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what do you expect from cryptocurrency? on: December 01, 2022, 11:55:34 PM
Another question to rise about this subject is the fact that BNB is holding a good chunk of tokens on it's BSC as well, which means if the coin itself crashes then the tokens in it could crash as well, or could have trouble. Which means that we should probably focus a bit towards having something much bigger, which is keeping BNB and also ETH alive to keep all other tokens on their chain alive as well.

Other coins with their chains do not have the same thing, but that doesn't change the fact that they are too small, they wouldn't crash the market, but BNB and ETH could, so those two should either be always kept up, or should get rid of being so central focus of token world.
1958  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What if Grayscale had to sell all 643,572 bitcoins it has? Let's speculate. on: December 01, 2022, 11:15:32 PM
I have to say it wouldn't "really" be a big trouble. Of course, if they sell it all then the price would crash, but did anything in bitcoins nature changed? Bitcoin is still bitcoin but there is one less whale involved, so the price crash would mean that it should be a temporary one and you could buy when it is low and sell when it is high.

Bitcoin went up before grayscale ever got into it, and it will go up even after it sells all of it. I am not saying price wouldn't crash, maybe it would be under 5k maybe even 1k  who knows, but I am 100% certain that it will grow back again and that's the key importance here, if it grows back up, then no drop matters.
1959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 01, 2022, 07:02:21 PM
Winning against Portland that already traded away CJ a while ago, and didn't had Dame neither means that Portland had basically nobody. They are basically tanking at this point and that's a shame and a sad situation for them that they couldn't get anything with Dame, I think a conference finals at the best and that's it?

But right now, they had nobody when they lost to Lakers. Having a big night, even a career night, against such a team is not something to be proud of, they were playing against some g-leaguers and they won, that's not a success at all. Hopefully Lakers will one day get better, but that year is not this year and they will keep being terrible again.
1960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 01, 2022, 06:29:30 PM
Denver game was a very different one for me, because it showed what would happen if Jokic didn't play at a high end level, and it showed that Denver was ready for it and they were doing fine. Sure they were playing against Rockets, so it wasn't really a difficult game, but other players taking up the lead and helping them get a great win is a key importance. Same with Bucks when Giannis didn't play, they kept on winning even without him.

These matter because it means they could actually do well in the playoffs, these teams are different from Lebron Cavs era teams where if you take Lebron out, they are tanking, so it means finals chance is higher for them.
