2981  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Capitalism Flawed? on: August 13, 2017, 06:57:11 PM
Is Capitalism flawed? I used to believe that Capitalism solves issues, but if I really look around me, it actually only creates more issues that were not here before.

> There are many rich people with tons of capital but there are more unemployed people that will not have access to that

> People are living in luxury mansions and driving very expensive car, and then kids are starving in other places

> Profits of companies is going up, but real wages going down, people are living paycheck to paycheck

> Everyone is in debt, nobody has any savings, and most people are working part time jobs

> Nobody has a house, nobody can afford one, yet real estate speculators own thousands of them

> Banks have trillions of $ of money, but they still charge you 50$ / transaction because of their greed

> People have no future prospects, no career opportunity, they just live from paycheck to paycheck trying to pay off the debt and buy some shit GMO food filled with poison, because why sell healthy food to the public when the GMO food is more profitable?

It looks to me like Capitalism is flawed. Nobody has any money and everyone is suffering. I think a universal income must be implemented as fast as possible.

My country is a socialist country. However, the stratification is evident between the poor and the rich, and between business owners and workers, they generate profits based on product price increases and low wages. But there are still a lot of people who accept jobs because they are afraid of unemployment. The rich find ways to get richer, they never share their wealth with the poor. Perhaps because of integration with the world that my country is gradually showing signs of a capitalist country. In addition, there are also many benefactors who help the poor and disadvantaged people, but this rate is very low. I need a fair and happy society

In every climes of the society, the rich does not owe the poor any explanation for them being rich or for them being poor and that is the opportunity capitalism provides because not all those that are rich today are from rich families and some change the stories of their generation through their own individual effort because the environment and the economic system they are part of give their opportunity. Its not all perfect for capitalism but its still better than others in my opinion.
2982  Economy / Services / Re: Signature Campaign manager wanted on: August 13, 2017, 02:57:50 PM
Since on the 10th till this moment I can't believe you have not seen one campaign manager even with various suggestions of the quality managers that have been offered by the members of the community, and even those that have offered themselves and trying to get their feat aside the known ones like my manager Darkstar but either way any one you want to use, if not the known ones, insist on quality because if not I tell you create additional problem for yourself and the project.
2983  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitfinex: Service Changes for U.S. Customers on: August 13, 2017, 02:19:41 PM
All this statement are just trying to sugar quote the real issue here and its nothing about service or whatever, its because the fear of USA is the beginning of wisdom and with what btc-e faced, they don't want to face the same thing. But for me, I would not trust any exchange site with large funds because discontinuing their services does not absolve them from the past to be gone after by the US authorities. The unfortunate thing here is that the country that thrives on freedom is gradually being left out from the financial freedom of the future.
2984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HBO is trying to get $250,000 in bitcoin to pay hackers who stole GoT scripts on: August 13, 2017, 06:38:22 AM
Quote
Hackers who stole data from HBO have leaked an email from a company executive showing negotiations over a ransom.
The HBO executive said the company would pay $250,000 in bitcoin as a "bug bounty payment."
Scripts from shows such as "Game of Thrones" were stolen last month.

Read the full article here:
https://www.cnbc.com/2017/08/11/hbo-hack-game-of-thrones-ransom.html

I can't believe that they're actually willing to pay 250K in Bitcoin just to prevent the scripts from being released.
Even if the scripts were released, I doubt they would lose any fans over it. It's not like that many people would even read it.

Still sad that Bitcoin is being associated with crime again.

Not that I actually care about HBO but the fact those individuals associate bitcoin with it is a call for concern because any time bitcoin comes to the news in a massive way like this, then crime is involved which give people like me a kind of restraint in even trying to expand the news concerning bitcoin which needs to be done unless the market won't grow which is something bad for every one.

Concerning the script, it would mean a lot of loss of money for HBO because considering the amount invested in the script writers aside that imagine the amount they make on box office all over the world which is very far much above the amount those people are asking for.
2985  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Making profit day trading but losing opportunity short term on: August 12, 2017, 11:48:33 AM
The situation is that i am making small profits day trading. Cant completely say that its day trading but i buy coins and sell them in 1-3 days when price increases. But whats happening now is that the coin i sell keeps increasing after me selling those coins and thats why i am missing opportunities on short term. Is there any solutionso that i dont miss those opportunities.

At any point in time, you don't know what will happen in the future and that's why we are all humans. So, the fact is you have made your profit let's someone else also do same. The decision to sell was made by you and by you alone so you should be responsible for your decisions. Also, to be a great trader is not to make the whole profit but to make less loss which I see you are doing greatly at. So keel it up and bother less on what will happen after.
2986  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin mixing service on: August 12, 2017, 11:11:37 AM
Hi all. Want to get clean coins? I can help you! Contact me on mixercoin@protonmail.com
So you expect any right thinking individual to actually send his own coin to mix via email come out to shout scam l over the place. Any way you have made your try, waiting for the gullible to give to a chance despite the number of reputable mixing services that we have on the forum. A newbie with one activity and post, I would pass on this.
2987  Other / Archival / Re: [NEWS] [banned mixer] — the Fast, Secure and Reliable High Volume Bitcoin Mixer! on: August 12, 2017, 09:05:24 AM
Yesterday send 7 btc, still did not get the money back.
Scam.

If you guys are serious about this, why don't you just open a scam accusation thread in right section of the forum and maybe someone who knows him and give a response to that. 7btc is a lot of money to lose at this time and you should also post with evidences rather than just saying it as no one will take this serious. Its a lesson that before you give trust after a period of time, check if the individual or service is still living with that trust or turned opposite.
2988  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BTCBIT.NET - Buy cryptocurrency via VISA/MASTERCARD CHEAP with low commission on: August 12, 2017, 08:29:55 AM
Charging 3% as fees is way too high on my part and that's is because using my master/visa card, I would be charge higher already for the fact that fiat is not in dollars then I still have to pay extra 3% as fees, then that is on the high side. Also, offering a service like this needs a mass publicity in which you should make an announcement by creating an ANN thread so every one can scrutinize the site for them to then rely on it. Telling someone to fast with small amount is a red flag on my part because thats what most people do to gain trust there after bolt.
2989  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: August 12, 2017, 05:26:56 AM
Might be shift in customer from bitmixer to chipmixer have increased the amount of donation they are getting from few big users.
After bitmixer closure volume went up and donations went up but support requests went up (customers were used to simpler mixing process) and donation percentage went down (customers were used to automatic fee deduction).

We are thinking about adding ChipMixerLite version that would work exactly like old BitMixer - you send output addresses, receive signed contract, send coins and wait a few hours to get them. The good part would be simplicity. The bad part would be split of mixers volume and less privacy. What do you think about it?

Honestly i don't think it's a good idea.

Chipmixer is a brand by itself and is the first to use private keys directly as a mixing tool to achieve 100% anonymity. Having a chipmixerlite will only confuse users, and probably create a split between the pathways to take which is not good.

I would consider adding a minimum fee instead of donation because as you said a lot of people from Bitmixer are used to having a mandatory fee charged alongside with their mixing process. After all you do need to pay for the transaction fees when you transfer funds into individual chips, pay for server, support, and advertising costs.

My contribution to the matter at hand is that in as much as its very important that one needs to look at what's going on in the market to better place himself well, there is also a distinct feature one needs to have which differentiate one product from the other. Even before bitmier shut down, this service has been competing favourably and if a clone of bitmixer is done people will then not see chipmixer again but a bitmixer in another form. So, I suggest like everyone else, a further improvement on the model to take care of the customers complain, and also if donation is not running the services then a form of reduced fees to new customers if there is a way to implement that while the old customers still enjoys their option of donations.
2990  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price is increasing too fast, will there be a correction? on: August 12, 2017, 05:08:53 AM
Its normal to express some level of uncertainty in this case of upward trend in price without any sign of retreating in sight and considering historical analysis, there is some level of correction that should be expected however, its not all automatic as in this case the increase in price can be said to be the fall out of August 1 and the upcoming SegWit which are both to influence the increase. It is at the point where this factors have weaned off the market but the price still increases, then a correction is knocking on the door within a short period of time.
2991  Economy / Economics / Re: Pros and cons of bitcoins for consumers and businessmen on: August 11, 2017, 11:00:13 PM
I will only be examining the cons at this time and I cannot but look at it intuitively for businesses and consumers which I feel will include but not limited to the following:

1. The volatility at this time could mean positive for the business but it might not be for long as it could come crashing any time which might result on excess amount of loss just by holding.

2. Another is the record keeping since most software have not put in place taking care of bitcoin, then the accounting function of the business might suffer in knowing the right amount and the account to be posted.

3. The issue of legality, the moment the records are not complete in relation to 2 above then I see tons of liability from the tax authorities which is something that might run down the business.
2992  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do we stop buying Bitcoin ? on: August 11, 2017, 08:05:46 PM
The only thing that would stop people from buying bitcoin is only if its no longer available to be accessed which can only happen in the case of shut down of the internet or the hacking of the entire blockchain which will then destroy everything we have come to believe as the backbone of bitcoin. But currently, those things I listed are not possible, then I guess we all need to still live with the current situation as it is now.
2993  Economy / Speculation / Re: If War happens. on: August 11, 2017, 07:05:06 PM
As we all know Trump stand on North Korea to meet with fire has not gone very well, with North Korea, and normally you do expect them to say we will retaliate, or we can harm them, what is worrying that they have specifically said they will destroy, Guam, now we all know they want to target usa military and trump statement that America nuke has never been so powerful, though I know it won't happen but yet again if it does I believe Bitcoin prices shall cross unbelievable levels, as global currencies shall take a hit. Before you write war may not happen, look at the leaders of two countries and let's not discount the fact America terms with China are not good now. I wish no war should happen but keep a watch on this news.

Its something that I have equally been following for quite a while and I see that this is something that would be unavoidable for long because of the way the two leaders are going about it and even the confrontations between US and Russia is not as so challenging as this. If this should happen, I believe world leaders are equally not sleeping over the matter and would be planning for a buffer which I believe strongly won't be automatic entry for bitcoin but there would be some improvement though but not massive as being speculated.
2994  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: August 11, 2017, 05:06:09 PM
I wish I had a lot of bitcoin as of today because if I did, I would ultimately go for the two  options by both saving and selling because there is no point of having thousands of dollars stashed somewhere and I can't get to enjoy life and at the same time won't sell everything then blame myself why I didn't wait a little longer in case the price just reach the moon within some few days after selling. So I will apportion my need to what I will be selling then wait again till when another need arises which I am sure I will need lesser amount of BTC to meet at any point in time.
2995  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do your children a favour and save bitcoin NOW on: August 11, 2017, 04:19:08 PM
Its true that one of the best decision anyone could have made based on average income earned in this century is have bought some bitcoin in the  past as I have never seen any one investment that have turned greatly what bitcoin has turned into even with inflation happening to price level, the returns overshadowed such. Concerning the future, I believe future will take care of itself and if we that are here is able to prepare a future for myself, my unborn children will not have to suffer which I believe is cool than for them to become millionaire over night without having to work.
2996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Satoshi Emails on: August 11, 2017, 12:51:32 PM
I'm in the process of developing a website dedicated to early bitcoin history.  Mike Hearn was gracious enough to contribute to the project by sharing his e-mail conversations with Satoshi.  Since these are never-before-seen writings of Satoshi, I thought others would enjoy having access to them now, rather than waiting for the website to go live.

Here they are:

If anyone else has anything they would like to share from early bitcoin times (2009-2010), please e-mail me at CipherionX@protonmail.com

Thanks!

After reading some of the contents of the email, I couldn't but appreciate what you are doing here to go through a lot of stress for those archives and also for the contributor, he believed so much early at the time even some of us wouldn't have turn another eye to look at what is going on. For him as well as others who contribute to success of this project whether by commenting or by castigating. My sincere appreciation goes to them all in that even though Satoshi is the only one the light is shown upon, the are also expendable.
2997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much fee for a $2 Coffee transaction at the end of this Aug month? on: August 11, 2017, 11:56:56 AM
I don't think the fees will eventually outweigh the amount transferred and even with all the fees that we have seen here and there, in terms of increment on the high side, there have been some micro payments in the area of daily twitter payments around here which I am sure if the fee outweigh the amount being transferred there would probably nothing of such. Also, the highest I have seen before August 1 was like 2% of the amount to be transferred which can be applied downwards in proportion to the amount in consideration which we believe Segwit will do more in correcting.
2998  Economy / Speculation / Re: $3500 on: August 11, 2017, 09:26:17 AM
I see us breaking that mark in few hours because the direction of price is really on the positive side and there is no end in sight to that currently. So, let all be optimistic and keep pushing for it because by the time we all decide to sell the ones we have now in other to benefit from the pump, then I guess we are driving it backwards. Buy more if you can afford and let's laugh together that we make it  happen.
2999  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will banks start a war against bitcoin on: August 11, 2017, 08:54:47 AM
I know we are still at a start of cryptocurrencies, but bitcoin is growing with lightning speed right now and some banks already see it as a potential threat.
There has been a lot of accusations form banks, that bitcoin is perfect for money laundering and is used for supporting crime.
I think they can do a lot of harm to bitcoin market and they will eventually start with harsh campaign against it.
Do you think it will happen and when?

If bank are saying this, they won't be totally wrong because we have seen several hackers asking for payments in bitcoin in other to avoid the hands of the law but they cannot hide for long. Also, the war against bitcoin by banks is not their battle because whether we like it or not, the progress of bitcoin cannot be said to be complete without the input of banks because at this point where I can't spend my bitcoin freely then I need to convert to fiat or even deposit money in fiat to buy bitcoin and the banks made this possible.
3000  Economy / Services / Re: software engineer | work for 0.01 BTC per hour on: August 10, 2017, 09:41:32 PM
Are you offering 0.01 for 1 hour or you are searching for anyone to hire you ?

He is obviously looking to get hired and that's the amount he wants to get paid and at the current price I don't know think the amount is too much to ask which is like $34 or thereabout. But op needs to understand that there are several people who could offer the same service at a more reduced amount though. Hopefully you get someone to patronise you.
