3441  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: May 29, 2017, 04:45:07 PM
Wow voluntary donation, I will be mixing my coins without paying you anything whatsoever?
Nice try CIA-NSA lol now you want to keep my records for your self? nice try chimp monkeys.
Guy, have you even tried to read and understand what others have said or the procedures of making this a reality, I am sure sure you didn't take your time to do that. The donation options is not just a platform to be exploited as the admin have really answered this in the first page that if this is not working and the cost are beginning to out weight the services provided. A review will be done. And even from the alpha stage up till now, no one has complained about how their records have been exposed and don't also forget about he gambling option which is another way to generate money.
3442  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Scammer of Bitcoin Script Seller on: May 29, 2017, 03:58:11 PM
www.exchangesoftware.info

So they are nearly scammer

I am sure you would have patronised them before concluding they are scammers. Also I appreciate the you intimating others not to fall in the same scenario you have at the same time, the nature of the subject of discussion seems it should be move to the service discussion section of the forum because others might want to have good account of the services they are offering and it could be a fault of yours that what they sold to you didn't work out as it should be.

3444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how many unspendable bitcoins are there? on: May 28, 2017, 11:39:36 AM
if we assume the fee situation doesn't improve, and it may never, how many coins are stuck in addresses that can't even fund their own movement? it must be adding up to quite a significant number by now.

This should not even be a subject of discussion because I don't understand how I won't be able to fund my transfer to another place that I wanted. I would rather go ahead and buy more in other to try again. But the issue I am currently facing that is related to this is that the fund is not even going back to the wallet for me to try again neither is it landing in the destination wallet as well.
3445  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for Employee for Real Jobs (Worldwide) on: May 28, 2017, 10:31:07 AM
OP has rightly put a disclaimer on the message. He is neither recruiting nor a company to hire people to work in. What he does is more like a job site that scouts the Internet's for vacancies then post on its website for users to pick from but in this case, his site will mostly be related to bitcoin and nothing else.
3446  Economy / Speculation / Re: Any thoughts on the price drop today? on: May 25, 2017, 08:45:59 PM
There are several factors that could be account for the fall in price same way we could have it if there is price surge. Aside that, I don't believe any body in the crypto world will just have the opinion that price will always continue to increase without things like this and in short if it happened that way, then one need to be careful becuase when it will, it will be massive. The only objective evidence is just the forces of demand and supply.
3447  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is a correction happening? on: May 25, 2017, 08:15:25 PM
So I woke up today to find the price jumping to $2,680 (Bitfinex price), I knew that was insane rise, but right now there is a little dip, Is it a correction? Does this mean that Bitcoin is going to stay above $2,000, and what we are experiencing now is not a bubble?

I  believe that the price of bitcoin price has been taking an upward trend in the past few days and a few dip does not necessarily means the price is coming down although staying above $2000 dollars is still something worth happy about since its still s shift in the positive direction in the initial position of $1000+ few weeks ago. But its still growing and will recover.
3448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the min. BTC amount to own that will make you rich one day? on: May 25, 2017, 07:53:26 PM
By rich I mean.. a nice house.. a nice car... a decent life... not necessarily a millionaire, just less struggle in general

Please share opinions: 0.5, 1,2,3,5...10..25 BTC...

Based on the current price of bitcoin as at today and the price level of income in my country currently, a 25btc will get me all the things listed above there and men I am made for life without having to struggle for money again. All I need is to use that to get a revenue yielding investment and I am good to go without any reservations.
3449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction confirmed within 20 minutes on: May 25, 2017, 12:38:03 PM
OK with all the posts about transactions fees and transaction holds etc .. thought I'd post my experience ..

I have just transferred 2 Bitcoin from my Kraken trading account to my blockchain wallet ... cost of transaction: 0.0005 bitcoin so actual coins received in wallet 1.9995 ... 4 confirmations received within 20 minutes (19 minutes to be exact)

Personally I was expecting maybe a day for the transaction to be completed lol (especially with all the scary posts on the forum) so 20 minutes was pleasantly surprising.

Good for you that you get your transaction confirmed in that little time so to say but you also need to understand that if the same transaction had been carried out in the last 6months, it might not take up to 5 minutes for it to confirm. Also, you also need to understand that most trading site in other to maximise the clients experience monitor the bockchain network in other to make transactions faster than normal bitcoin wallet providers. So those complaining are not joking around as its what they have experienced they are sharing.
3450  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Crypto and Family Separation on: May 25, 2017, 12:03:40 PM
Wondered if anyone might be able to offer some advice here.

I have some coins in a couple of formats / BTC + some alts. I'm currently separating with my wife, who has also taken our 2 young girls. That's all getting worked out through an annoyingly messy (unnecessary, IMO) dialogue between lawyers.

The question I have is; I worked for BTC back in 2103, when it started to drop I stopped getting paid via BTC but continued to trade. I managed to make, mostly, good decisions and have increased what I had. I spent some taking my family on holiday etc, made those back so that aspect has been pretty good. I'm wondering now the best way of protecting those assets as I'd prefer to spend what I have on securing my future a bit and making it possible to support my kids, whether that's now or in the future.

Basically - it'd be my preference not to give my ex 50% now when I think I could use them more wisely to benefit myself and my children.

Sorry I don't know if that's a bit vague but any advice as to the best procedure would be greatly received Smiley
The issue of giving your ex certain percentage of your assets is if those assets are recognizable by law because I am sure if you are trading in cocaine and your ex knew about it, she won't ask for some powder as a form of settlement the same thing with bitcoin. If the law does not recognise it in your place of abode, then it does not exist in the legal sense and what does not exist, cannot be shared under any circumstances.
3451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The power of Bitcoin on: May 25, 2017, 11:37:16 AM
The power of Bitcoin, $10,000 Bitcoin Investment in 2010 Now Worth $200 Million

That's exactly real power and even going back 2010 is too far a simple comparism of last year and this year is enough for anyone to understand how powerful bitcoin is. When I look back to see the value of the bitcoin I sold last year at a penny so to say, I just take it off my mind that what belonged to the past is better put in the past. But the power is not something to toy with again.
3452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am sad for my ETC on: May 25, 2017, 08:44:47 AM
:'(I sell my ETC last night, what's the fuck?
I am worried about the bubble too big, so I sell it
but,it's raise to the moon, but I still on the erath
Lol. You don't need to be sad, because even in life everything works both ways someone sold to you and you are also selling to someone else. I am sure to a large extent that you must have made some amount of profit no matter how small but you made something and it's time to move on to make the next profit happen. You made the right decision then and I sm sure you can make it again.
3453  Economy / Economics / Re: Possible big Crash coming within 10 days on: May 25, 2017, 07:43:20 AM
I think and I am predicting that a BIG CRASH is coming within the next 10 days.

Why?
Because there is no investment or asset that can increases itw own prices the way Bitcoin is doing, less than a month ago the price was at 1,300 usd and now is at 2,500 usd this is crazy and it is not possible.

Actually this has happened back in 2013 when the price falt like a rocket been knocked down to the ground.

Actually if you ask any profesional investor in the world what do they think, the will really tell you that it is too beautiful to be truth, and that you should stay away frrom anything that shines like gold, without been gold, because it is 100% that is a ponzi scheme.

So becareful and sell as soon as possible, before the boat sinks.

I hope also will not happen because I also like it, and I am amaze with what have happened, but lets be realistic, is impossible this utopic situation.

In as much as your fear can be valid, I expect a more robust basis for arriving at that conclusion. The past is of no relevance to the future rather a basis for prediction which inmost cases wrong and also the adoption of bitcoin by the very relevant bodies has increased significantly from 2013 to start comparing the two. Even at that bitcoin has been able to break away from the dominance of one country as we have had in 2013.
3454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Truth about CryptoCurrency on: May 24, 2017, 08:26:36 PM
The right up is on point and equally rich based on the assumptions and the conclusion derived from such. The part of gambling is also very much valid but also in gambling, there are winners and there are losers and when you find yourself on the right side that's when you win and that's where the importance of analysis comes in when it relates to cryptocurrency in that when the the big whales are making their moves, the onus is for me to be able to move in the right direction the I win also.
3455  Economy / Economics / Re: Fidelity adopts bitcoin! on: May 24, 2017, 07:35:15 PM
https://news.bitcoin.com/fidelity-integrates-coinbase-mines-bitcoin-21-inc-computers-accepts-bitcoin-at-cafeteria/?utm_source=OneSignal%20Push&utm_medium=notification&utm_campaign=Push%20Notifications

This is some seriously good news, Fidelity Investments is embracing bitcoin, mining bitcoin, and accepting bitcoin for payment at their office cafeteria.

Fidelity is one of the oldest and more conservative investment houses. Their interest in Bitcoin normalizes the idea on a significant scale, not just for other businesses but for the millions of people that have investments with Fidelity.

This is great news!
This is another  good news coming from the stable of  those who believes in bitcoin and are equally not resting on their oars in making that a reality. This is also a confirmation to shame those who have the believe that bitcoin has reached its potential and have reached the maximum advancement that can happen to it. I believe this adoption is going to more stabilize bitcoin price .
3456  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: May 24, 2017, 02:48:59 PM
For me, I would have been happy to teach kids coming up of the few ways to earn some bitcoin and would have started from claiming faucets since that is the basis but at the same time, I would be careful and might not even want to teach them because of the amount of exposure that will bring which might not be healthy to the development of a kid especially the advertisement that is being showed on faucets sites. Kids might easily be carried away which might change their attitude towards hardwork which is not something an adult should allow.
3457  Economy / Economics / Re: Is anyone else done with this BTC game? on: May 24, 2017, 02:17:56 PM
I'm out of this. I've mined and traded for hundreds of bitcoins since 2013. Got rid of a lot of that in the past year during the climb but this past few months is just ridiculous. There is no reasonable expectation for the price to stay high, and "hope" for even higher prices can't possibly outweigh the potential loss if this doesn't work out.
I can't be alone in thinking, enough is enough. I see so many posts by guys with one or ten btc, hoping for astronomical numbers, but where are the rest of the people like me who had a few hundred and can actually do something with that now. I wish I'd started mining a year or two earlier when I first heard of it. If I was sitting on a few thousand BTC right now, holding half of that and cashing out half makes sense. But where I was, keeping a few for some dream number doesn't really make a difference in my life.

I never got into altcoins enough to matter, although it would have been nice to put a few grand into ETH last year, but it's just another useless product that could have failed like so many others, and I doubt I would have held it through 5-10x increases.

So what do you guys say. Is this it for you? This is more than I'd ever imagined to get from BTC. This could turn around in a few days if people catch another panic selloff. Are you being greedy? Am I just dumb for wanting to enjoy life now?
You are entitled to your opinion as the situation of things are the very moment that opinion is made. First thing first, you have also cashed out from the very thing you are castigating and you would probably do more if you had more bitcoins as you have rightly stated in your opinion but couldn't simply because you were not futuristic enough to see the glory that is happening at this time. So, I see your argument faulty because its not borne out of sincerity.
3458  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptos success will probably lead to a global financial system reset on: May 24, 2017, 12:37:03 PM
That success is something that will happen whether we like it or not. In short its already a success. However, where problem comes in is the fact that its a threat to the financial order of the world which won't go without government intervention because the financial world is equally tied to the dominance of the world powers which means if that is gone, then their power is whittled down which is what they won't want  among other challenges.
3459  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoin Economics on: May 24, 2017, 03:45:18 AM
The future the Bitcoin is brilliant, either as currency or investment but I think that some problems or inconvenience should be solved. But anyway I still think the Bitcoin future is brilliant, for me it yet seems an innovator technology.

Even with recent happenings to the price of bitcoin despite the challenges its facing in the areas of fees and waiting time, if one still conclude that the future is bright for bitcoin one would not be mistaken as that is the the direction of every posts I have read but at the same time we should not go in all blindly without making allowances for forces of government which might in no distant time feel threatened by the dominance of bitcoin and its technology in the financial system of the world.
3460  Economy / Economics / Re: The best investment you ever made? on: May 24, 2017, 03:30:38 AM
With btc income I collect with less than 1 btc, In your opinion how to manage my income with such a result by way of investing.
What's the best investment you've ever made?

The best investment for anyone having quite an amount of bitcoin is just to keep it that way. Although, that comes with its own risk but still bearable compared to putting it in an external site which can at any point in time fold up. In addition to that, majority of the investment sites are just imagination of one geek creating something to create wealth for himself as a result of making other fall prey of such.
