3621  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen if Bitcoin became a legal currency? on: March 23, 2017, 04:07:13 PM
If bitcoin should become a legal currency, then it means the value will increase which makes everyone happy in this 'world', it also means the shop next door will accept bitcoin while rent will also be paid in bitcoin. That will also come with its negative side though such as the path to make fiat worthless which wont come without hostility from people as well as loss of revenue to government as a result of fees and charges.
3622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Learn How To Bet Like a Pro on: March 23, 2017, 12:49:50 PM
Blogabet is a platform connecting tipsters and punters all over the world. We have payed tipsters and free ones. You can see their tips and outcomes years back, so you decide to follow the most appropriate one for you. Try it out here: https://blogabet.com/

If there is really a school to learn to be a pro which will mean a lot of losses for the gambling sites and could amount to them closing down business, I am sure quite a number of people would have been rich already as a result of gambling. But for me, I dont believe in this when I continue playing, I will lose and learn when its time for me to win, I will win. Its as simple as that.
3623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? on: March 23, 2017, 12:45:11 PM
The way human being are being structured, we will continue to go after more money no matter how rich we have become. Even if you spend that others might inteprete to mean wastage, you are sure where double of that will be coming from. If I have enough money, I will gamble but with sense and having enough money is not a license to waste it because not getting poor means making more money to stay afloat and if gambling will give me that, so be it but I wont waste it.

Your balance is mBTC 25.75
You have to wager mBTC 1296.0 before you can withdraw!

There is hardly where you get free bonus and you can just withdraw it immediately. There is always a condition or two attached to it and the reason is that so that it wont be abused which to me is fair enough since its literally free money. On the other hand, where I will have issues is if condition is if I have to play with my money and I have to still undergo such then all hell might be let loose but that is clearly not the case.
3625  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: March 22, 2017, 03:07:47 PM
Anybody who has the premonition that bitcoin will replace fiat anytime soon will actually need to wait till forever and might even be living in a world of form because it wont happen. As at today where I stay in the 21st century, it still surprises me that a lot of people do no have bank accounts and that alone signals that they dont have the tenacity to even use electronic money in which bitcoin itself relies on. How on earth will they even survive?
3626  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto is the future, make money of it on: March 22, 2017, 02:20:26 PM
What do you think about the fact that cryptocurrencies will literally be the future ? In a few years, it will exploded and, be rich if we hold many ?

We all know that even if it comes with its own embedded risk attached to it. The future of yesterday is today same thing the future of today will be tomorrow either way the future is for those who are ready to take the risk of today to enjoy the benefit of the future which is what we are looking at by being on the forum and ready to make some coins or earn some.
3627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Planned or impulsive gambling? on: March 22, 2017, 10:26:06 AM
Both have actually worked for me though as sometimes I just decide within me that this weekend, I am going to try it out and sometimes I just stumble on a thread which link to a gambling site and from there I decide to try it out on spot either way, I have lost some, I have equally won some since whether planning or by impulse will neither increase the chances of winning or reduce the chances of winning in my opinion.
3628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Do You Think About Bitcoin Betting? on: March 22, 2017, 08:54:16 AM
Hello, due my investment project I've started betting on soccer with bitcoins. What I can say about my experience is that it's awesome. Odds are attractively high (which makes me suspicious is there any chance I can't withdraw my money). I mean 1.7 odd at my local bookie is 2.1 at Cloudbet Which is 0.4 units difference which means that if I put $100 it's $40 which is nearly half my stake so it makes difference. 2 Bets with this difference and I can comfortably afford 1 more Smiley. Let me know what your oppinions on bitcoin betting

To me, there is nothing wrong whatsoever about bitcoin betting so far you are betting with your money or the one you have control over and in case you lose it, there wont be any issue about it. Instead of being skeptical about the site concerning whether you will be able to withdraw or not, why not just give it a try and if they fail, you open a scam thread against them or you just restrict yourself to reputable sites only.
3629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Central Bank Requiring Extreme Customer Verifications at Exchanges on: March 22, 2017, 07:39:39 AM
https://news.bitcoin.com/chinese-central-bank-requiring-extreme-customer-verifications-at-exchanges/

I know we're talked about endless rumors and fake news of China "banning" bitcoin, but short of an absolute ban this sort of thing looks like a step in the direction we have long feared they would take. A big step.

The PBoC is apparently requiring every customer to write out how they got their bitcoin, among other things, such as explaining why they are withdrawing whenever they want to convert to fiat. Very, very intrusive stuff. The question is, how will Chinese buyers respond? Is this just business as usual when dealing with their government, or is this the sort of thing that will dry up the Chinese market for bitcoin? Or something in between?

This is something that should not be new to everyone because whether they like it or not, they just wanted to frustrate bitcoin by all means but I am happy they are doing theirs on that end, something good news are happening on the other side in addition to that I guess every players in bitcoin are no longer taking the news from there serious as bitcoin is enjoying some relative stability in recent times.
3630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everything is going to be ok. on: March 21, 2017, 06:46:21 PM
Things are looking up in my opinion.

Whether online or offline in my daily activities, I believe everything is going to be fine afterall, there is nothing wrong in being hopeful about the future. Back to bitcoin, after we had faced a backdrop in the last few days, hope is what is needed since by wish is not the reason why price fluctuates whether high or low but things are getting better and we are gradually on the track because thing will continue to look up that the least believe we just need to possess.
3631  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcoin Under World War 3... on: March 21, 2017, 05:24:42 PM
I have been thinking about this scenario. There are still many people who are thinking that the possibility of a global war can happen anytime soon. The destruction that WW3 can bring may put humanity on the brink of near annihilation.

Now, am thinking...what will happen to Bitcoin if WW3 erupts? Will the value diminish or will it freeze itself? Some quarters are saying that in a global war, gold can be better but still you can not eat gold...so food can be more valuable.

I am sure when world war 3 should break out, with the level of destruction that is being envisaged and that prediction you have there eventually comes true, I believe people will have more serious things to think about than bitcoin because the reason why we can still have access to the internet, send coins, comment on the forum is because there is relative peace in the world and the moment that is taken away, then our priority will shift to the only thing that matter which is survival.
3632  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Putting taxation in the blockchain. on: March 21, 2017, 05:14:07 PM
What are your thoughts about putting taxation in the blockchain, blockchain with the characteristics we know - immutable, transparent, secure etc?

Edit: perhaps I wasn't very clear, I wasn't pertaining an added tax on top of blockchain transactions. But writing the tax data into the blockchain. Imagine, you'll be able to monitor your income tax through a block explorer and to where it is heading. Or be able to vote on which project your contribution will be spent? And so on.

I am sure this is something the government will be happy to see being implemented and its something I know that if they have been able to get the way around, they would have adopted bitcoin bitcoin because not only will they use it for that purpose but also means users can be tracked. And I am sure this is one of the fundamental principle of bitcoin which is anonymity the moment they can do this, I see alot of people abandoning bitcoin to something else that will make them remain anonymous.
3633  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Attempts to restrict access to weapons. on: March 21, 2017, 02:29:55 PM
Was it not government that allows people to have access to guns in the first place And if they think its time to restrict that access, then there is nothing wrong about that. Times have change where people needs to have a gun in other to feel safe and even now, its doing more harm than good and innocent lives have been lost as a result of that so if restricting it will reduce such then I see nothing wrong with that.
3634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen to your coin during a Hard fork? on: March 21, 2017, 01:17:38 PM
What would happen to your bitcoins when a hark fork occurs.Just you have to wait and watch. You will own bitcoins on both forks. If you have stored it in your hardware wallet,no need to worry.but if you have stored your bitcoins in an exchange wallet, then you have to follow their rules. They may temporarily suspend the deposit and withdrawal of bitcoins for 24 or 48 hours. Most of the well known bitcoin exchanges have revealed their plans that if a hark fork occurs, they will list  both digital assets BTC and BU creating another account for their customers. But initially, they may suspend bitcoin deposit and withdrawal for one or two days.

I dont even want to bother about the technicalities that surround bitcoin simply because I find it boring and not understandable. I will just leave that to the developers one thing I know that whatever that will happen to bitcoin will not happen to me alone as it will equally affect millions of users who either have 1 btc or 1 satoshi all over the world. So, I just wait and see how things will unfold.
3635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin bring any country on its knees? on: March 21, 2017, 09:41:51 AM
We all know the Monetary System and how it works. And in this modern era, we often use fiat money and digital money and since the beginning of the fiat money, debt co-exist with it. The debt ceiling is constantly rising because of the number written in our bank books, on a piece of paper that states we have money.

Now BTC comes and a new type of money emerges. And because of the possible growth of the BTC's value can BTC really bring a country on its knees?

I am not an economist but this seems to be identical to the case of the emergence of fiat money.

Unfortunately I will have to subscribe to this thinking because its actually what countries are scared of especially the movers and shapers of the economy because one thing they want is to find a leak in the system and so far they are yet to get. The implication of adopting bitcoin without the leak is intepreted to mean full liberation and on the negative part could make movement of money easy without any trace which could literally bring the country to its knees.
3636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as primary currency in Norway on: March 20, 2017, 04:07:20 PM

I was actually looking for a source of the information before you came with this and I can say its been helpful. Although, I am happy that things are gradually moving in the right direction for bitcoin but the issue is concerning the city if the central government of federal government as the case may be will allow such. Over here., issue relating to currency are exclusively left to the federal government to decide and not the federating units whatsoever.
3637  Economy / Economics / Re: The best time to invest. on: March 20, 2017, 02:56:35 PM

Some day in the future, you will realize that the best time to invest was not today, but some other day in the future, when prices were low. But with the information that you have today, the best time to invest is still today, because you do not know when prices will be low, and you do know that the longer you hold your investment, the more time it has to grow.

Toughts?

Like you have rightly said the best time is now however, it is different from the perfect time which to me is what I termed 'when you are ready to live with the outcome of the decisions you make today whether its positive or negative'. At the same time making a decision about investment is not something that needs to be universal as we have people who are not ready to take risk as they only need to develop at their own time and take their decisions on their own in other to have it at the perfect time.
3638  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price is recovering! on: March 20, 2017, 02:05:03 PM
Good news dude !

 https://blockchain.info/markets

Good news but dont rejoice too much because bitcoin price that you are rejoicing over that is going higher might just take the reverse bearing within the twinkle of an eye. Although I am equally happy with the ways things are turning out but I dont want to keep my hopes high since I dont want to be disappointed at the end of the day. Lets just keep our hands fold and see how things will turn out.
3639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you use a Bitcoin ATM? on: March 20, 2017, 12:55:51 PM
Personally and currently as at today, I wont use bitcoin ATM to withdraw. I can still use it to load or buy bitcoin but with conditions to be used. The reason for my decision is because I will make more money per one dollar worth of bitcoin selling to exchangers, rather than withdrawing from the bank that will be using the current exchange rate to process my withdrawal.
3640  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Have you ever known anybody who was robbed by police? on: March 18, 2017, 07:19:19 PM
If bribe can be said to be the same as robbing from someone then I am definitely a victim as it is not only the police but all enforcement agencies down to the traffic controllers all over the country. In that country its even a verifiable source to see what is being earned but here, no one cares as you even see public officers leaving beyond their means but there is nothing you can do about it and thats how bad the situation is.
