3281  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Whether the money from the proceeds in bitcoin will be subject to income tax? on: June 26, 2017, 01:11:41 PM
If it is true income from bitcoin will be subject to income tax, about what percentage and what is your response?

This is a bane issue that will continue to reoccur as a major concern for the legalization of bitcoin and that is how will government tax it. How will government investigate the claims of tax payers if they only have to rely on voluntary compliance. But I feel when this is finally implemented, the rate will be minimal in other to encourage people to do it willingly because without that, a lot of tax evasion will be very high and the costs of curbing that will be too high on the part of government.
3282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin savings account? on: June 26, 2017, 12:28:01 PM
Is there any upcoming project that would act like a bitcoin savings account?

There is already a project for that if you are comfortable to the interest they are paying and that is freebitco.in. Its a site that have been on the space for quite an amount of time through their faucet platform and other ways such as gambling and lottery platforms. So, you are good to trust them with your money and get your interest even though might be small.
3283  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Fantasy vs Reality on: June 26, 2017, 07:15:08 AM
Fantasy will remain what it is which is wishful thinking that is not backed by action. Reality on the other hand is what something can be done about because that is something one can neither run away from nor wake up from. In my own case, I try to limit my fantasising moments because its just purr waste of time in which possibilities of achieving is zero to none. But focus on reality that can change my status to the next level.
3284  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Poll: If god commanded you to murder homosexuals, would you? on: June 26, 2017, 06:40:11 AM
Its not right to take the life of what you cannot create and that is why I always hold the position that any who does something against another person has the willingness to do same and not claiming religion because that is being under it and that mostly relies on our own individual morality as to whether wrong or right. The Bible verse quote is in the old testament which is not totally valid in the new testament.
3285  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Stabilizes at $2,700, Another Surge Imminent? on: June 25, 2017, 07:44:00 PM
After a major market correction which sent bitcoin price from its all-time high of $2,973 to $2,261, bitcoin price has stabilized at the $2,700 region.
Since the June 14 fall to $2,261, bitcoin price has since recovered and stabilized at $2,730. Since June 18, for nearly a week, bitcoin price maintained its upward momentum and sustained its price in the $2,700 region.

Tone Vays, prominent bitcoin trader and consultant, stated that he foresees a breakout with the activation of the Bitcoin Core development team’s transaction malleability fix Segregated Witness (Segwit) imminent.

As at this time, the price as gone down to $2500+ which is something that has been happening since yesterday. I feel the time for stability is not anytime soon with various news coming from here and there, the market is still subject to a lot of volatility which will likely continue. I believe the market will actually recover as this also presents an opportunity for everyone to tap into.
3286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Governments Shutdown the Internet? on: June 25, 2017, 07:03:05 PM
It is not possible for the government to prevent Bitcoin transactions by censoring the internet. With VPNs and web-proxies being easily available, that will be unpractical. So the only option left is to block internet altogether. It is never going to happen, as there will be widespread anarchy and chaos.

Government can shut down anything they want to shut down. It has happened before and nothing happened. Why do some government countries stops access to some sites, its because they can do it.  A government in a country shut down the country's internet for hours because election is going on and they don't want citizens posting updates on the social media but the effect will be haphazard and that is one unique thing about bitcoin and why they cannot stop its penetration and reason why they are now looking for ways around it.
3287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoins today and be a millionaire in the future! on: June 25, 2017, 06:15:50 PM
http://www.cnbc.com/2017/06/20/bitcoin-millionaire-erik-finman-says-going-to-college-isnt-worth-it.html

Have you heard of the story of a 12 year old kid who wagered with his mom that if he will be a millionaire at age 18 he will not go to college. To his mothers surprise he is now a millionaire and never went to college. His secret he bought bitcoin at 12$ with a 1000 $ gift from his grandmother.

If we also dream of getting rich in the future it is now time to invest in bitcoins. Many said that we will be experiencing bubbles more often, that is true but we have survived it and still bitcoin keeps moving on.

If we want to get rich invest in bitcoins today. The price of bitcoin today is at 2600$ and moving up but imagine its value 5 to 10 years from now.

Investing in bitcoin is not a guarantee to be rich in the future because quite a number of people have made some of this as investment in the past but still trying to make more money till this day. Investment by any means is a way to keep idle funds and even if its to go for real estate, it could worth more in the nearest future depending on the location and state of the economy but for bitcoin, its mostly uncertain which only few people will be ready for such commitment.
3288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's going on? Bitcoin for the rich only? on: June 25, 2017, 04:39:42 PM
Usually i am transfering in LTC and Dash to exchange to fiat, cost less and is much faster, waiting houres for btc confirmation is to much for me.Fee and speed is btc problem and it has to be solved

Its so unfortunate that things have to degenerate to this point that everyone is now looking for alternatives in carrying out transactions which should not be so for any reason. However, I still believe is not for the rich alone because there is a unit for everyone depending on what you can afford and when there is increase in price, it affects everybody the same thing with when there is a fall in the price of bitcoin as well. Hopefully, this can be sorted out  by the acclaimed August 1.
3289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who updates bitcoin value? on: June 25, 2017, 09:33:22 AM
I still also wonder how this happen but at the same time I think the way is determined is by the exchange site with their software they have installed to aggregate demands and supply in other to determine the price and because one individual can have accounts on several exchange sites, then the behaviour can be predicted across board and also with arbitrage trading and that js the reason why I think the price of different exchange sites is always close to each other while most other sites pick their quoted price from the average from reputable exchange sites
3290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin market crash on: June 25, 2017, 08:54:20 AM
I'm just curious. What if bitcoin and any other alts market fall and you invested all your money into this. Would you rather do Panic Selling? and How would you compensate all your losses?

The best way out for me is to wait and hope the price will recover a s it has always been and the moment the market is not recovering at the expected rate, I guess the ext option is to determine the amount of loss I can afford and at that point a decision will be made to still hold or to sell and move on. Losses is a normal thing to happen in the game.
3291  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ireland’s first gay prime minister is formally elected on: June 24, 2017, 07:46:33 PM
Leo Varadkar has made history in Ireland by becoming the country’s first openly gay prime minister, as well as the youngest

Leo Varadkar was formally elected taoiseach at a confirmation ceremony in the Dáil in Dublin yesterday after winning the Fine Gael party leadership earlier this month.

The former GP and son of an Indian father and Irish mother, won the vote by 57 votes to 50, with 47 abstaining. His parents Ashok and Miriam were present to see him receive his seal of office. The couple met when they worked in an English hospital in the 1960s.

Varadkar’s partner, Matthew Barrett, who is a doctor, was also watching. Varadkar came out as gay shortly before the 2015 same-sex marriage referendum in Ireland during an interview with RTÉ, Ireland’s national television broadcaster.

I think this is a big deal for the once Catholic Republic of Ireland. But times are changing now. And people are not defined by their sexuality.

There is no way this will not go round the whole world where people see beyond the issue of person feelings and focus on what really matters which is competence and this is where some developing and third world countries are getting it wrong. I am sure jf it were to be those countries I made reference to people like Leo Varadkar or the new prime minster in France will not even have the opportunity to taste power.
3292  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people pray? on: June 24, 2017, 07:22:56 PM
If you really think about it, you are being a total douche when you pray for anything

You are basically telling god... that you know what is best, more than god does

By praying, you are saying...
"Hey god, I know you don't want to give me a new car, but I want it anyway"
"Screw your perfect/divine plan god, I want a new car... me me me me me me, it's all about me"

If it is god's will... why are you trying to change god's will?

Do you really think you know better than god does?

Or, are people just selfish and don't care what god has planned?
People pray for different reasons based on their belief of asking what they wanted to happen to them. If you don't pray it means you are resigning to fate in that whatever that wants to happen to  happen. But with deep understanding of how things work beyond the physical, the belief is that prayer can change things, can get you things you don't deserve and because most things we get is based on subjective decision making, it then means you need to appeal to them through prayers. My contribution.
3293  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I'll just leave this here on: June 24, 2017, 06:59:01 PM
In as much as there is no moral justification for mocking the poor but that does not mean the rich owe them anything as well. Quite a number of people have come from the most backward place of the society but they ended making names for themselves and thereby liberate their entire household without any limitation whatsoever. So the rich should give to the poor but the poor should also strive to live that position they so much hold dear.
3294  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking to buy BTC with Cash on: June 24, 2017, 01:44:43 PM
I would have proof but don't share my methods on public forums. A quick Google search will show I have been doing this for four years and have a great reputation.

If you have been doing this all these years then you should not have issue getting to build a new client base. Instead of directing us to Google why don't you share the link because I really don't know what to search for on that Google. For me, even if I have, I would not want to trade with you because bitcoin promotes anonymity but you looking for cash so I can disclose my identity is obviously a no no in addition to you willing to travel anywhere shows some level of desperation from my point of view.
3295  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What role models you live on on: June 24, 2017, 12:56:31 PM
Role models are no no for me because I just find it difficult in living like one person who has probably lead his life to a point of rest and never pass through what I am passing through or passed through whether the good or the challenging type. The only thing I do is make myself a role model for myself by just imbibing moderate morality in me so others can emulate and maybe friends and family can be proud of me.
3296  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why most products now are made in China? can we trust these products? on: June 24, 2017, 10:45:43 AM
Almost all products nowadays are made in China? is it a good thing or not?

Even over here most products we use is coning from China and its because of how they have developed themselves. Although products from there are sometimes synonymous to inferior quality but this has been discovered to be in connivance with unscrupulous businessmen who wants to make profit by all means. Also, there is option as to whether to buy or not and if you not comfortable with third products, by from somewhere else but be ready to pay more.
3297  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Osama Bin Laden really dead or not? on: June 24, 2017, 07:56:06 AM
I passed by an article which I was intrigued, I know this is not new to most people but what do you think guys? is he really dead and gone forever?

Whether he is alive or dead the fact remained that after that night, he was not seen or heard of again and that's what matter. However, if he is now found out to be  alive then the fundamental fabric of what holds the Obama administration together is done with which I am sure its not something that wants to be heard of.
3298  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bye Bye Localbitcoins wallet! on: June 23, 2017, 09:52:55 PM
New fee structure started today. Here's the news article about it:
https://news.bitcoin.com/localbitcoins-new-fee-structure/

I received (what was supposed to be) a $20 transaction to my localbitcoins wallet, and was charged a little more than $1.40 "deposit fee". The sender paid over $2.00 fee to send. This seems pretty excessive considering the small amount being sent.

Aaaand... I'm switching wallets Tongue

1$ is still a fair one to me unlike one exchange wallet I used some time ago that for every deposit, they just deduct 0.002btc no matter the amount of bitcoin received into the wallet which when converted to dollars is far above what you have there. And thankfully the crypto space is full of several organisations trying to offer their services in which I just switch and I am happy you did same.
3299  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mixer for safety on: June 23, 2017, 09:13:14 PM
Hi guys I didnt see any post here about Mixer, some casinos are providing mix services, is this really make impossible track the bitcoins to me? I use www.starcasinobitcoin.com/mixer , to mix it take about 2 hour to go to my address, the bits came from many addresses, is this really safe?

Anyone who even tries to a site like this with the amount of reputable site we have even on this forum is definitely making sure he is sending his/her money to those who are interested in making the individual patronising them poorer and make themselves richer without feeling any form of guilt.
3300  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: June 23, 2017, 06:18:20 PM
New features:
- commonized chips - some of you believe that 1.024 BTC chip looks weird and uncommon. We've had a lot of questions about getting more round values. That's why we have created new action for larger chips called "commonize". Using this option you can replace weird 1.024 BTC chip with new, shiny, round 1 BTC. What happens with 0.024 BTC? It gets donated. That's 2% fee. Same % apply for 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096 mBTC chips.
- bets are now provably fair - full-length explaination available in our FAQ: https://chipmixer.com/faq

Its really good to see some updates like this and various improvements that is happening to the site which is a show of a listening administrators without any limitations. I expect to see more of this and with updates to that effect as well as we progress together into making a name in the cryto space.
