3781  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anonymity? on: February 03, 2017, 09:02:39 PM
Its true that the anonymity surrounding the crypto world is gradually turning into a myth with no thanks to all these exchange sites forgetting that the basic principle crypo rests is the anonymity. I have been discouraged from going on with registration  whedn after giving all the names and addresses, they still ask for scanned international passport or national identity card, some will even add that you child it and take a picture with it.
3782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie wants to create new altcoin on: February 03, 2017, 07:31:39 PM
With all the Alts we have on this forum alone with majority of them not even living up to promises not to talk of expectation. You still want to add to it. If that's how the successful ones are created then every alt here should have been better than bit coin. I will advise you just shelve your plan until you have a sound team to push the project in addition to a sound financial backing. But if you insist on creating one, the join an upcoming project to bring your dream to reality.
3783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Qtum]UTXO based POS Smart Contract Platform | Crowdsale March 2017 on: February 03, 2017, 07:11:24 PM
Will we have a signature campaign what pays in Qtum?

yeah I hope it, Qtum will have a payment of campaign with Qtum, since payments with bitcoin is currently running. I really hope when ico started can I get payment signature campaign with Qtum. because it is usual done by another altcoin project, there's always the payment in their coins.

They are actually looking out for the investors if all bounties were paid with Bitcoins.  There are a lot of bounty hunters out there who will pretty much dump their coins/tokens when it is listed on an exchange .  Paying them in Bitcoins means, they will only make the amount they receive.
This is really a good way to go about it because I have seen fine projects come out and immediately after the ICO and one reputable exchange site has listed the next thing is dumping which will drive the coin to a very low end which it might not be able to recover and this same people will be the first to come out and say " its a shit coin' "its just driving low" and all sort of things.
3784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is LTC dead ? on: February 03, 2017, 06:57:44 PM
I am not sure if its current price because I have lost touch in following but I am sure its not dead yet and the price it will be now is just trying to stabilize then pick up again. Although I agree making profit out of a stable coin might be difficult and this might make speculators avoid such but that's not a justification of it being dead. I have visited exchange sites even gambling sites and they gave the same prominence accorded to btc to Ltc which is a testifier that LTC is still alive.
3785  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a bot for trading? on: February 03, 2017, 06:50:24 PM
Even the manual trading I am yet to master it not to talk of taking it professional by now using a bot. I don't even understand how the not will even work and another discouraging factor is the issue that it does not guarantee that profit will be made or losses will not be made so I just stick to taking a decision I can completely take responsibility for its outcome.
3786  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin be created by Russia or China? on: February 03, 2017, 06:24:00 AM
Based on the topic op created, its not impossible for countries mentioned to create thier own crypto currency because I am viewing from the position that if they can find away around bitcoin in tracing source and the likes and the citizens are bent on using crypto currency then they will be left with no choice than to create one that will satisfy their need as well as the citizens.
3787  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump - what is he DOING? like it or don't like it, discuss on: February 03, 2017, 05:56:02 AM
I am not directly affected by his actions in recent times. I am neither a citizen of the United States neither am I a citizen of  the recently banned countries. But in all I believe he meant well in taking a decision but the fall out of the decisions is what he didn't think through because everything is connected and one rash decision can change the world order which is very fragile at the moment.
3788  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who voted for trump? on: February 03, 2017, 05:47:32 AM
Why donald trump ban the 7 muslims countries?
He probly has a black heart stone, and idk who's that moron that voted for trump you destroyed the U.S with your hands.

The reasons for the ban, he has explained but what he thought was that he only owe the people who voted for him to keep election promises forgetting that he is responsible to the world and not even Americans alone. The relationship he has successful severed in his few day days in office might take years to build again. And also, he didn't win majority of the votes and that's one disadvantage of the electoral process in the Free world.
3789  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Canada introduces thought crime bill on: February 03, 2017, 05:36:15 AM
Things are really getting out of hand in this dispensation of democracy which attempts to guarantee some basic human rights that we are entitled to but it seems all those rights enshrined in the constitution of our respective countries is becoming an illusion everyday by day. Agreed that Freedom of Speech is an illusion on its own but this, I am not also entitled to my thought, government has failed in no small way and this is nothing short of going back to ages time.
3790  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is there truest religion? on: February 02, 2017, 09:08:39 PM
There is no truest religion because every one will claim that his religion is the best and that is the reason why Atheist will have a superior argument that religion is the bane of society problem and to those even killing in the namd of religion that's even an appalling situation religion has brought us and how could that claim to be a true religion in common sense analysis?
3791  Other / Politics & Society / Re: No Help from Islamic Nations. on: February 02, 2017, 07:51:36 PM
All this won't be necessary when government will be responsible for its citizen and that is the reason why I didn't castigate Donald Trump's decision although I have reservations about the implementation which should have made some exemptions. But that being said ni country is under an obligation to help another country is purely out of cheer goodwill whether its a Muslim country Christian country. All I simply asked is that they should just fixed their shit and stop bothering other countries who have their problems to deal with.
3792  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you always missed the right time to sell/buy bitcoin? on: February 02, 2017, 07:27:40 AM
I have missed the right time to sell several times and its largely due to non-commitment although learnt my lesson that trading is full time work. I just got some coins then keep it hoping that in the next one month, this would have increased significantly and I just popped in to check how its going once in a while. When I see decrease, I tell myself it will pick up, that was how it went to an irrecoverable low end and I realized that I had missed the right time to sell and enjoy my losses myself.
3793  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it still worth it to trade? on: February 02, 2017, 07:23:09 AM
I wonder if someone still should get into trading Bitcoin at this point? There was a time with incredible aggresive swings so that daytrading was interesting, but now the movements appear but much slower. Is it still worth it to trade?

Bitcoin trading has always worth it but in recent time the price has been fairly stable which makes day trading difficult but at the same time, Alts have proven to be a very potent alternative the issue there is knowing the right coin to buy in other not to make some mistake. I believe you already know that based on the way the question is being structured.
3794  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best way to find a BTC job? on: February 01, 2017, 06:08:05 PM
One way I know is to first know the right skill that is demanded in the crypto world, you dont expect to be an electrical engineering and expect to be looking for job here. When that is settled, the next is to be very active to be available to when the needs arise irrespective of the time one because it might surprise that immediately you wake up a job has been announced and has equally closed. The next is be ready to compete.
3795  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Firm XAPO Approved to Operate in Switzerland on: February 01, 2017, 06:00:46 PM
From the way it is, it seems Xapo is really making the deal real but I am sure alot of compromise would have been put in making that deal a possibility. I hope the anonymity characteristics which is one of the basic foundation that bitcoin rests can still be maintained for Swiss nationals that will be using Xapo. But hopefully in the coming days the real issue about the deal will start showing because everything about Government does come cheap.
3796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin to buy everyday needs? on: February 01, 2017, 05:14:32 PM
Bitcoin for everyday needs is not going to be possible until governments of countries take the lead on that. Over here, I have not even found one store that accepts bitcoin and that even makes it impossible in addition to that government agency came out to say bitcoin is used for money laundering and terrorism so those of us involved have no other option than to just convert to Fiat then get what ever we want to get through that means alone.
3797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One of the problems Bitcoin help to solve on: February 01, 2017, 05:08:05 PM
On the issue of cards, most of our own transactions is still being done using cash and some times bank transfers. But one problem bitcoin has been able to solve for me is the low cost of transaction as the amount needed to transfer even a large amount is more or less nothing. Another is the issue of cross border transfer without any constraint whatsoever.
3798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ride a cab with bitcoin on: February 01, 2017, 04:56:15 PM
If you are a traveler and your next destination is Italy there are some surprises that will greet you on your vacation. Using just your mobile phones and bitcoin applications you may ride a cab using bitcoin. I am not affiliated with this taxi company but its my pleasure to let the bitcoin community know about this great news.

Italy’s largest taxi fleet, Cooperativa RadioTaxi 3570, now accepts bitcoin. The company boasts over 3,700 cars in Rome, providing more than 10 million cab services each year. Ive taken this line from this link, feel free to read: https://news.bitcoin.com/italys-largest-taxi-fleet-bitcoin/

This is really a good one for a company in the retail industry to take this step. I am sure this will equally increase the awareness in no small way and to most especially the low class earners since most of the drivers will belong to this category of the country. But what I dont understand is if bitcoin is a legal tender in that country because news concerning bitcoin from that end is not popular over here.
3799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Sports Betting for You? on: January 31, 2017, 06:05:23 PM
Sport betting is my favorite like I commented on another thread and I think because of the fact of some of us who wants to gamble with less amount of risk, thats why sports betting is being provided. In the case of sport betting, the odds have been provided for me and on all sites, the odds are comparable all I need to do is to make a choice come back after 90 minutes to know whether I have won or not. I cant lose on a site and win on another site its just not possible.
3800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Favorite type of gambling? on: January 31, 2017, 05:49:57 PM
Give your vote to any kind of gambling, is that the betting on soccer games, playing poker, roulette, online gaming, live gaming....??

My type of game is one that its likely impossible for me to be cheated although not 100% and that is Sports betting. If I lose, its not because I am unlucky or the site cheated and also if someone in China should bet on the same game I bet on, we will both lose or win together irrespective of whether he is in the morning and I am in the afternoon. The game is just too universal.
