3921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and which part of day do you gamble? on: January 08, 2017, 10:47:51 AM
Hi guys!
Many casinos have mobile friendly GUI and nowadays you can gamble and place your bets literally from anywhere and anytime you want to. So my question is simple. Where and when do you usually gamle? Do you ever gamble at work or your home? Is there any specific part of the day (week) when do you gamble?? Why? Do you think there is some ideal place and time?
Feel free to discuss and let us know Smiley)

I really dont give any paramount to specific time I gamble online and since I can do it anywhere via mobile phone, I just gamble anytime I am free and available both financially and psychologically to handle any loss that might arose from such decision of mine. Coupled with the fact that timing to me, is not a determinant to winning or losing. Thats what gambling is all about.

3923  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you use a Bitcoin debit card? on: January 05, 2017, 05:22:43 PM
I never know about the bitcoin debit card. is it the same as normal debit card of the bank?
How can we transfer bitcoin to cash for withdrawing money at ATM?

I have not even own one but I know it will be cool for countries like USA or Uk whose currencies are quoted directly unlike me over here because we even have the official and the non-official exchange rate which is cheaper and has more gain. And now with A debit card to be use on our ATMs then I will be paid using the official rate in which I would have gained more, going through the way of exchangers who are likely to use the parallel rate with premium.
3924  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now That Bitcoin Is Under $1000 Again.. on: January 05, 2017, 04:39:13 PM
but not is possible in 3 hours pass to 1110 EURO to 910euro!! FUCK BTC!!!!

Welcome to the Bitcoin world.  Smiley
I didn't see any complaints when Bitcoin gained $150 in less than a day. Why rant about it now?

Thats one thing why I will not keep all my resources in Bitcoin, simply because of the high volatility without any sign to that effect. Its being circulated around the forum that a fall is imminent because of how high it went but I am happy that the fall has not been too drastic to about $500 as predicted by the "prophets" and the price it is now, there is hope that it will recover.
3925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your new year start in gambling! on: January 05, 2017, 04:24:26 PM
Hey guys!

Don't want to brag or anything but I had a freaking good 2017 beginning!! I hope it's the same for you  Wink

Transformed my 0.04btc from my sig campaign into 0.25 while btc was hitting the 1000$  Grin Grin Grin

That can seem as small amounts but it's not for me and I think it's like the first time I multiply my initial gambling amount by 5  EDIT: by 6 in fact  Cheesy !

Did anyone hit a jackpot on this begining of 2017?

I am happy that you actually made a win in the very beginning of the new year. I wish I could be a beneficiary as well and I see this as a good sign for me go give it a try even though I have not made any attempt towards that since the beginning of the year. At the same time I would want OP to be mindful of the fact that it can not always be like that.
3926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: January 05, 2017, 03:32:13 PM
Shamefulness to me, is meant for small boys who engage in things that they might be spanked for and then the parents makes them feel the shame in other to stop a particular behavior. For me, what I am not able to do without my sole responsibility, I would rather not start it in the first place with gambling inclusive. So when I gamble, its my sole responsibility and nothing else and I also owe no one any form of explanation whatsoever.
3927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: January 05, 2017, 03:24:40 PM

True but most people here are addicted gamblers. They start gambling for fun and end up losing some money. Next day they come back to earn it back and make up losses - but that is fatal because they lose even more money in the process.

This cycle repeats and completely drains the gambler of all their money. The only way to stop this is to control your emotions and not let gambling get the better of you.

From where I stand, I will boldly say people dont go to gambling because of fun, no way the primary motive has always been to win money and it will continue to remain as that. when that is no longer achievable, then we switch to achieve other objectives. My own solution to gambling is simple, since it started in the first place as a result of the quest to earn then I suggest one should look for another viable source to get income with that the amount spent in gambling will reduce gradually to a point where one will stop if possible.
3928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice Games Are So Much Fun on: January 05, 2017, 02:43:45 PM
Not have so much fun for as I lost a big amount on a dice site just playing with 98% win chance. So I can say this only the owner have much fun with dice sites and play have no chance of mercy.

And you have it right there, in the two parties to a game i.e myself and the gambling site only one of us will see it as fun because I want to win, he wants me to lose and we cannot both have fun at the same time, its either me or him. So, if I want to have fun in gambling the winning guy has to be me because I wont see any fun in someone rejoicing over my misfortune and for losing on his site. No way, it aint happening.
3929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your biggest bitcoin regrets? on: January 05, 2017, 04:22:54 AM
My biggest one aside from the obvious one of "not getting in sooner" is the fact that I Dont have any special skill, I can't code, can't do graphics neither do I have the fund to establish a service site because if I can I would have made more Bitcoin faster at the same time richer faster than the pace I am moving now.
3930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Usage Reduce Demand Of Fiat? on: January 04, 2017, 09:12:04 PM
I dont see that happening until we have stores all over that accepts Bitcoin and that won't happen until government voices its backing because if my Bitcoin cannot be used to buy basis things then I will have no choice than to demand for Fiat which means the more Bitcoin I have the more Fiat I will need for exchange. Its as simple as that.
3931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal is seeking Advice regarding Cryptocurrency on: January 04, 2017, 09:01:44 PM
Its a good development that they even acknowledge it and I want to believe that are really looking into it. Although that clause seems like a general statement from a customer care in other not to be seen rude in anyway but iI still believe that once government gives the support I am sure other stakeholders will fall in line.
3932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: January 04, 2017, 06:34:37 PM
Even if I want to compare the two as the same based on the way I interprete them to mean because that actually what matters and that's why we have diverse opinion on the matter. I would not want to because even though they booth involve losing money and winning some but in the case of trading the chance of winning is even more based on extensive background analysis of the coin to buy but same cannot be said in the case of gambling at all.
3933  Economy / Economics / Re: How a cashless society could kill Bitcoin. on: January 04, 2017, 06:10:36 PM
A cashless society to me means carrying out transactions without the use of Physical cash and to the best of my knowledge that is what is applicable over here as majority of transactions can be done even via the mobile phones or mobile applications and BTC is even still thriving as I dont see any competition as even BTC that I have is coinless without having a physical coin. So I see cashless economy as a platform and not a competition.
3934  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: January 04, 2017, 02:55:29 PM
2022 is 5 years from now. It is true that its popularity will increase significantly but the issue of it being used by almost everyone is what I will not subscribe to. For the advanced world where basic infrastructures to enable smooth transition to the use of Bitcoin, I agree but not for developing countries who are still battling with mirage of social issues such as political instability, high poverty level with unemployment reaching the roof, epileptic power supply, unaffordable internet access among other things, I say 5 years will be too short to get it fixed.
3935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: January 04, 2017, 06:07:50 AM
If gambling leads a user into financial debt as a result of gambling addiction, then it is wrong. But if you find yourself winning I do not think anybody in their right mind will say its wrong.

And this is what I agree with. Whether you are working as a doctor, a nurse, engineer or even a pastor the motive is to make money and if I can achieve that through gambling, I dont see anything wrong in that after all "human beings pursue what will give them the greatest amount of happiness with least effort" but same will not be said if I kept on losing then it is totally and fully wrong.
3936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: So should I make this bet with 1 bitcoin? on: January 04, 2017, 05:59:45 AM
Wow that's truly an achievement congratulations to you.

Lost both parlays of one with 1 bitcoin on the line because of the high odds for basketball game at 7.29 so did not expect to win that one.
The other one was for 150mbtc with only one game off by 2 points with a 2 second shot at the end. All other games won and would of had me at 1.25b.
So easy come easy go as they say with gambling for high stakes.
I did start this with 50mbtc anyways. So no big loss for me. Undecided

It seems that this is the update that I've been waiting for and it's very unfortunate to know that you lose and it looks like that you are forced to bet with those games. I guess you will not now use sportsbet.io because of that. Try to sports bet with some other good gambling site.
It seems that they held my funds just for this reason because as their review department that they had my account looked at by them knew that I was into taking high-risk bets from my previous parlays that I have done. And was counting on me putting it all on several parlays.

And to the others who are posting after my update post:
I lost the parlay with 1 bitcoin! So the 3 days of winning is over.
It wasn't so great while it lasted because I wasn't going to see that bitcoin anyways and now that my balance is next to zero they will say it is ok to do withdraws from the account. A little to late for that now isn't it? Roll Eyes

I will say sorry for your loss, it happens but for me I would want to add that the site is equally an accomplice to this because they intentionally wanted you to lose because why would they deny you withdrawal in the first place? Also, if you had won the bet, the same barrier would have been placed on withdrawal until you played and lose after all. I suggest you stay away fro such site.
3937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How was your luck in 2016.? on: January 04, 2017, 05:55:09 AM
Even though I really dont believe in luck when it comes to gambling, I place more emphasis on chance which is probability at the same time there is a thing difference between the two. In all my gambling activities in this past year, I would generally say, luck was not on my side because I lost more than I won coupled with the amount of effort put in to acquire the amount wagered in the first place. Hopefully, things might change this year.
3938  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Investing in Cloud Mining Still Profitable ?? on: January 04, 2017, 05:29:44 AM
I had earlier interested in investing in Genesis mining because of the publicity I have seen around as well as the testimonies being circulated until I came across a thread related to them on the forum and from there, I make the conclusions that

1. They are not scam because they been around for a long time.

2. You will have to wait till forever before you ROI and finally

3. Cloud mining will eventually turned to Scam.
3939  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: AsicBIT.com -- total WASTE of time on: January 04, 2017, 05:23:32 AM
According to the asicbit.com web site, this is a Simulator of Bitcoin mining, a game: "After the registration, you get into the server room, where four ASIC are situated... Every block mines a certain amount of Sathoshi... And of course, one is able to earn real money here. The funds from the inner game account can be withdrawn to your Bitcoin wallet."

Well, they are liars and thieves. They will not let you to collect enough Satoshi to get above the minimal withdrawal limit. As long as you upgrade you mining machines they will let you but when you want to accumulate some Satoshi in your balance suddenly the mining machines start to break and they will take back all your profits to repair them. Sometimes, although the broken machine is under warranty, when you repair it your balance is reduced. Liars and thieves...

Unless you enjoy the game, don't waste your time here. You will get nothing for the time you spend here.
And now you have your answers that the primary motive of sites like this is to SCAM, they won't allow you to withdraw what you have accummulated giving bogus reasons in which I am sure that upgrading will require you to deposit some coins to do. Same thing I witnessed some months back, after depositing to upgrade, the withdrawal function became deactivated ASAP.
3940  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Doubling bitcoins??? on: January 04, 2017, 05:17:26 AM
I see so many services offering to double, triple and multiple in all possible amounts the coins you put to them. This doesn't sound very convincing to me but some of them are offering the list of blockchain transactions as a proof that coins were credited. Is this pure scam like I think or is there a possibility to realy make some coins? Would like to hear your thoughts and experiences.

Such doubling scheme have never failed to dissappoint in their way and that is SCAM whether now or later, that's what its going to turn into and it could be your turn when it will happen. The addresses you see, what makes you think its not the money going into the same wallet or several wallets owned and controlled by the same person. For me, I will not even look at such twice in other to start giving it a consideration.
