3361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where are we going with cryptocurrency? on: June 13, 2017, 07:26:14 AM
As soon as majority of the world is informed and knows about digital currency, what do you think will happen? No matter how good it sounds to traditional banking, how much of the population will make cryptocurrency grow?
Quite a number of people have been informed and know about bitcoin and that is what we are witnessing today where there sharp volatility in prices whether increasing or decreasing but when it gets to the point where those majority are now investing or probably begin to adopt bitcoin what will happen is the increase that will happen to price in the short term followed by considerable amount of stability.
3362  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase crashing due to dump? on: June 12, 2017, 08:03:37 PM
They are probably not able to handle the pressure and they feel if the order is too much and unable to meet the needs of people coming for it, it would probably cause some fundamental issues the best is to shut down for a while and see how the market will react and let the rushing subside before opening shop for further business actions.
3363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to keep altcoins/crypto alive on: June 12, 2017, 02:27:21 PM
Hi guys,

I have my bitcoins since about a year. I fully support the concept of stateless currency, thats why I bought my first bitcoins.

now, I see other coins start growing a lot. My concern is about Bitcoins status as leader. I believe we can have a major crash and developers run away if Bitcoin is not the "gold standard" in crypto. First question I have: would you agree with this concern?

Second question: what needs to happen to make Bitcoin a secure #1? I dont think we even need to do payments in btc, but at least make it relevant.
From the way I see it, bitcoin position is not threatened under any circumstances because of the fact that bitcoin has grown so big that a community needs to agree on any course of action go be pursued regarding it so there is no issue of developers eloping on bitcoin. Another again is that those alt you see gaining momentum wouldn't have survived on their own if bitcoin had not created such opportunity for them to flourish.
3364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling give you lessons in life? on: June 11, 2017, 11:28:33 PM
I don't believe that gambling is a place to learn because its serious business where people make a run for their money. They GI there with a prepared mind to either win or lose without any reservation so there is noting to learn from in the sense that whatever the outcome will be, its already known from the beginning. When its time to learn, we learn from other place but not on gambling. That's my humble contribution.
3365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Open AI Gambling Bot/Discussion on: June 11, 2017, 10:59:27 PM
So Recently Elon Musk announced the Open AI as we know, If you don't know about "Open AI" just google it, It is basically a bot which learns from visual input and becomes a master at doing whatever it is trained on(Given enought time), It can master any Atari game and can even predict stock prices by given it the proper data, so i was wondering what if somebody trains it on Poker or Dice game? It will be the perfect player, far better than the human and could probably make websites go bankrupt, as there is no defeating to an AI. From what i am seeing the future will be AI's Playing against each other. The person who will have a better AI player will win the most bets, Let me know what do you think about it.

Also If anybody in their spare time can train it on Poker or a simple Head Tail game, Do share your results it will be interesting to see.

This is definitely advancement in technology but the issue here is that for bots to work on any site, the site must allow it and in this case when AI is winning all the time due to its immense abilities, then I see them installing anti AI systems which might make it less effective and by so  doing, users will discontinue its services. Aside that, to deploy AI at this time would be very expensive for an individual to be able to afford.
3366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: June 11, 2017, 08:19:30 PM
Currently, I would say no one is interested in my activities here that I am because everyone is looking after himself and there is no too much time to be concerned about someone else life. What they believe is that if any one is on the phone just pressing it, JTS either chatting or on social media but that's not my own case. How I wish someone can just ask the question because I cannot go ahead and start discussing with bunch of uninterested group of individuals. It will only amount of waste of time and precious  energy.
3367  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $3000 on: June 11, 2017, 07:28:28 PM
It's here.

Its finally happening in our very own eyes and we hope to see more of it and shame those who are waiting that we all bite ourselves for believing this much and holding this long. Even though I joined quite late, its still better to be late to a party than not to attend. We are getting there gradually.
3368  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cashing out large amounts of bitcoins? on: June 11, 2017, 03:40:40 PM
I don't think bitcoin is ripe enough to cash out that amount of money out at  time even in the bank using fiat that amount of money would not go unnoticed and a good explanation will be needed to even have access to the funds afterwards. And now in the case of bitcoin where large amount of the people involved will believe its either a crime proceeds  or even money to finance terrorism. Gradual withdrawal is the best thing for now.
3369  Other / Meta / Re: Sir can I give small donation for rank on: June 11, 2017, 03:39:34 PM
LOL if that's how it works we would all be Legendary member here then.
I read that by giving some btc one can become donator. Can I give small donation to upgrade my rank to senior member?
3370  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info removed multiple send on: June 09, 2017, 06:27:54 PM
As you all know, blockchain.info shot themselves in the foot, and removed the option to send bitcoins to several adresses in the same transaction. I dont know why they would make such a foolish change, but I guess some developers simply shit on their users.

Any alternative to blockchain.info that supports sending bitcoins to multiple adresses in one transaction??

Its actually a step backward at this time in all sincerity. If its costing them more, the best is to just find a way to increase the fee and not just stopping it all together. Imagine a campaign that will be paying over 100users and will have to pay for each and everyone of those transactions. The cost alone will definitely be burdensome and could increase the cost of doing business.
3371  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Loosing massive amount bitcoin on purpose... on: June 09, 2017, 05:08:36 PM
What if a multi-billionaire organisation were to buy a large amount of bitcoin (for example 30%) only to destroy the private key associated to the wallet and brag about it all over the internet ?

First, would it be possible to prove the loss of the private key ? no
Second, How the market would react ?

Even though the possibility of that happening is small, because for someone to be able to afford that at today's price then large chunck of his wealth is definitely going for it. but since its an assumption then bragging it over the net will definitely create a panic that might drag the price down but not for too long because the media is always engulfed with new stories everyday so after a while I see a scarcity happening because the excess has been mopped up by such action which will then push the price to another all time high.
3372  Economy / Speculation / Re: Slow gains and stability on: June 09, 2017, 02:56:42 PM
The last couple weeks we have seen a relative stable price with slow upticks. Many prefer to see this rather than huge instant rises. I like the fact we have been holding in in the 2700 to 2800 range last several days. We know from past summer is a quiet period. If we stay at this range through summer I would be quite happy.
Get through August unscathed then gain some momentum heading into the latter half of the year!

Everyone will be happy if things turn out the way we all wanted but unfortunately the price of bitcoin is not dependent on the feelings of individuals rather than the forces and factors behind such swings of prices. All we should hope for is that these determining factors should continue to work in the favor of bitcoin so that we can all be happy even beyond August and summer.
3373  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for 0.1 ETH loan for 4 days on: June 09, 2017, 02:09:59 PM
To be honest, i do not think ICO's are a valid collatearl.
You are looking for  a loan, with some ICO coin as a collateral which does not guarantee  a current price at all, which is important about collateral.
There must be some kind of buy support for the collateral to be valid, and at least 120% of the loan amount.

They are not ICO tokens. ICO has already finished and Kolions are like any normal tokens. They can be traded in DEX inside Waves lite client and on crypto exchanges.

Thanks for your recommendation. I could provide 120%+ collateral with Kolion tokens.

If all this is as what you portrayed, then I see no reason why you can't just go ahead in just redeeming it yourself except there is something you are not saying about it. The stress of getting an escrow and his fees and the back and forth agreement making would be avoided if only you can just trade what you have currently.
3374  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Negro Race is Objectively Inferior on: June 09, 2017, 12:37:30 PM
Are you a racist? It's very silly. Probably you have problems with self esteem and you're trying to establish themselves at the expense of imaginary superiority based on race. The most striking example for you. Obama is African American and a lot smarter than the white Trump. And there are many such examples.

Its obvious OP is a racist and even his later comment on your post attest to the fact that he is blinded by racism and equally have no content to deliver. However, he is entitled to his opinion, we have seen white guys performed below expectations and the same thing goes for black guys, if any one has offended you, there is no need to generalize rather judge each individual on the basis of their attitude to you and that is my addition.
3375  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Vaccinated vs. Unvaccinated: Guess who is Sicker? on: June 09, 2017, 11:40:31 AM
I am still trying to understand the argument of this anti vaccines agents because for the fact that someone is vaccinated does not he is immune from certain disease. Vaccines to me have done more good than harm as it is being portrayed otherwise by OP, countries are being declared polio free or small pox free simply by vaccines. Where I stay it pains my heart to see future leaders waste away by polio due to something that could be avoided by simple vaccine if their parent had listen to words if wisdoms while their leaders that propagate the evil of vaccinations sends their kids abroad to receive the best medical care.
3376  Other / Politics & Society / Re: VOTE Are you offended by these police officers? on: June 09, 2017, 10:09:12 AM
Police in all climes of the society have several excesses on their hands and its even worse in countries like mine where police officers response to being angry is to shoot at the slightest provocation and there is nothing that can happen. What follows is a plea to the deceased family member especially if they are from the low income earners and try to bribe then to drop the case after all killing or sentencing the officers cannot bring back the dead. This and many other reasons will create a gap between the police and the entire populace. I commend the doggedness of the people to ensure justice is served.
3377  Economy / Economics / Re: Think about this: Is crypto a bubble.... or is fiat a bubble ? on: June 09, 2017, 09:27:31 AM
Maybe a repeated question ? Not sure...

Just simple economics, no need to get very deep into this question.

USD (as an example, could be other currency) has no limit, nothing scarce, it has value because people believe in it, it has history and is issued by an entity that is loosing the trust once had.

In the other hand, any crypto currency is limited, it's scarce, it's been almost 10 years since the creation and you can trust the technology.

Why is this still not worth trillions ?

Comparing fiat to bitcoin is outrightly ill informed conclusion. Fiat has been since time immemorial with a lot of development which has evolved in relation current economic happenings in the country at the time. It is also not free because that would negate the artificial scarcity to keep its value. Bitcoin on the otherhand is an evolving currency which is made for the whole world compared to countries having their own individual currency to serve as their identity. This alone gave value to fiat and makes it more acceptable to the populace.
3378  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: June 09, 2017, 07:49:45 AM
There is no way billionaires would not have invested in bitcoin they might not do that in their corporate capacity using the names of their firms but in their personal capacity, I am sure some would have been involved. While some have have come out to openly support bitcoin some are still waiting and observing how it goes. Aside that, its also a further testimony to the fact that bigbag holders manipulate the price to their advantage which is not for cheap holders.
3379  Economy / Economics / Re: If scalability is unknown, why are some countries going "all in"? on: June 08, 2017, 09:26:05 PM
Are they just that desperate to escape their inflation and using bitcoin as a transfer -- thus making the market fluctuate like it's doing?

Its high time we believe that the increase witnessed in the price of bitcoin cannot just be traced to one source alone and the argument of governments coming in to me does not hold water because how can one invest in what you don't believe in. In individual capacity is where the moneybags are coming but not as an institution of government since governments of most country are yet to make a stand concerning the position of bitcoin in their respective countries.
3380  Economy / Economics / Re: Just Loss My 3BTC/$8,7xx by field Wrong address for widthrawal on: June 08, 2017, 07:13:13 PM
This issue is now re-occuring and there is nothing anyone can do about it as I have also heard of similar experience by a friend who lost 1btc just by copying and pasting because there is even no way to cram those numbers then start typing one after the other. What I do is to randomly cross check the numbers to be sure that what I copied is what was pasted to avoid stories like this. I hope it went to an innocent wallet who can then transfer it back to you because that is a lot of money to lose now.
