3321  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [NEWS] Syrian fighter jet shot down (JUN-18-2017) on: June 20, 2017, 06:06:11 PM
These two countries both Russia and United States have actually created more problem than the solution they tend to provide because for crying out loud it was never their fight  to begin with but now it has escalated to a point where innocent civilians have become casualties without any aggression whatsoever. Either way, hopefully both countries can sort their differences and leave Syria alone to handle it's issue.
3322  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Finsbury Park attack:one dead in 'potential terrorist attack' near London mosque on: June 20, 2017, 05:21:01 PM
A van has driven into a crowd of worshippers after they left a mosque in north London, killing one man and injuring eight other people in what police described as a “major incident”.

TheGuardian is updating their site with news every a few minutes: https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/live/2017/jun/19/north-london-van-incident-finsbury-park-casualties-collides-pedestrians-live-updates
This is a terrorist attack and not any major incident in other to coin the event and sugar coat what's going on. This issue is really getting to a head and it seems London is just vulnerable where attacks happen on regular basis. The leaders there just needs to do  more in securing the lives and properties of its citizenry and extreme situations like this demands extreme measures that should be taken by the government and of course with the support of the citizens.
3323  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Finally Bitcoin is legal in my country 8) on: June 20, 2017, 05:08:57 AM
A latest news about 15 minutes ago I found at the social media with a video at TV direct mobile recorded ( CNBC news )
Thier was clearly mentioned that Bitcoin will be legalized , currently the Bitcoin unregulated and this will take about 6
Months to regulate with the new rules against the Bitcoin to control and stop the missuse in illegal activities .
So why not we should have positive thinking about the Bitcoin that have have good future and support by the many countries .
Share your thoughts about the status of the Bitcoin in your country .
Cheers .

What you have failed to do is to mention the country so it can be verified. The legality of bitcoin is something that will come sooner or later but what matters is what are the underlying effects that will come with that legalization as it relates to the freedom bitcoin is promising everyone. That is a question I would want answers to because government all over the world will not do anything without their own interest being protected.
3324  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin be accepted by USA or will the US try to denounce or embrace? on: June 19, 2017, 08:50:39 PM
I won't even expect any country to just adopt bitcoin without a fight not even USA which is the home of capitalism that the adoption could create a change to the fundamental way of living where you don't get to spend more than the btc you own in your wallet compared to the current scenario where your eligibility to enjoy some privileges is dependent on your credit worthiness. So, I don't see them adopting any time soon but may be later though.
3325  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could btc hit 1 usd? on: June 19, 2017, 07:18:25 PM
Could some major shift or change happen that would bitcoin nearly worthless especially overnight?

To those who hold the position that there is a possibility I would align with that although the possibly of that happen is really slim but its still possible. Using the current happenings, its very difficult for us to go that back down because even if the price crashes, and the block chain is still worthy to be adopted by multinationals and even countries, then I see it bouncing back but the moment block chain fails, I see it crashing even beyond the benchmark of the $1 set.
3326  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitconnect.io earn money by lending (review) on: June 19, 2017, 06:34:11 PM
I recently cam across a website called bitconnect.io

This website promises you up to 40% interest on your loan per month

They pay out the interest rate everyday which you can right away withdraw
Currently people earn per loan approximatly 1%

Im very sceptical on how this works but after doing a research on bitconnect token, the currency used on bitconnect.io for lending out your loan, is number 20 on coinmarketcap, so this seems to be a valuable coin.

I just did a 100% loan on bitconnect.io to see how much and if i earn something

Did you guys use bitconnect.io yet

Is this legit?
Sites that promote 40% return on investment is nothing but a ponzi scheme which is not anywhere near being sustainable for whatever reason. Because I want to understand how they intend to pay that amount? Even freebitco.in that have been with us for a while and trusted to a large extent has never promised as high return as such. To those interested in making quick money, good luck in making that a reality.
3327  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is right now a good time to buy Bitcoin / Ethereum? on: June 19, 2017, 05:43:51 PM
Hi,

I know you guys get asked this all the time. I'm new to cryptocurrencies, trading and I've never been involved in any sort of forums before either, so i'm sorry if I've posted in the wrong way.

I'm looking into the happenings at the moment and trying hard to catch up. It is a lot to digest and I think there are important dates coming up that I need to be wary of. It seems July/August are to be big dates for Bitcoin and I am trying to understand if i have already missed the boat and if the risk/reward is too high/low.

Am I right in thinking that the value of bitcoin could swing either way with a 50/50 chance after this date?

Is the current general thought for investors that after August, there might be a large dip, but it should recover to eventually get our 500k valuation (in a long way off), or if it goes south would it be dead in the water?

With the current spikes and new all time highs in the price, would I be buying in too high at this point?

Would i be better to buy as much as I can before these dates or would it be safer to wait until after and then buy in?

Sorry if have some misinformation.

Thank you for your time!

Like I always maintained that every time is the right time to buy so far you can afford it no matter the amount because there will always be room for improvement even for established fiat currencies world wide, there is still foreign exchange market where these currencies are being traded against each other and profits are being made without any form of end in sight compared to bitcoin which is an evolving currency and penetration is still in high gear to the maximum.
3328  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Debate.org poll: 88%. Of polled believe Americans are the real terrorists on: June 19, 2017, 05:02:56 PM

I have a reason to want to doubt the respondents to that mail because if its American are terrorists and they are able to stop the re-occurrence  of 9/11  stand up against the genocide in Syria, ISIS and other countries whose either war or terrorism have torn apart, then I wish my country is one too. Although, they have their lapses and their overbearing attitude to internal issues of other countries but that does not mean they are not doing well in protecting their own against terrorism.
3329  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Africa should be nuked, all evil originated there on: June 19, 2017, 03:22:27 PM
All evil has originated in Africa, let's start cleaning up the planet.

People like you should even be the ones to be eradicated first from the face of the planet because of the amount of the hatred you have within you and ready to share and its very toxic. Because I cant imagine how you would imagine someone who has not done anything against you, (only if all Africans have offended you though) that they should be nuked including children and women. Even in times of war people are not nuked for no reason and this your own hatred is another extreme I have seen in the 21st century.
3330  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good news everyone: SegWit may finally be activated with majority support on: June 19, 2017, 02:48:24 PM
Even though I dont understand the basis for this SegWit as I have read several posts on the subject matter for and against but I believe the best is yet to come and if people that are more vast in the technicalities of bitcoin can be happy about it, then a non-techie guy like myself does not have any other option than to be happy because whether increase/decrease happenings to bitcoin affects everyone including myself.
3331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your favourite dice site for profit on: June 19, 2017, 12:36:57 PM
I have tried on several sites as I dont have any specific site and I dont have the time to start the comparison cum analysis for a dice site for that matter the only thing I just need to do is to be sure that there is no potent scam accusation against the site or the administrator then I am good to go whether its primedice of any other site I cannot even remember.
3332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ---🌟🌟🌟 EDGELESS CASINO 🌟🌟🌟--- 0% House Edge, Full transparency | Try beta! on: June 19, 2017, 12:07:48 PM
My question is simple which I am sure a lot of people would want clarification. With 0% edge how does the site intends to meet its own running costs such as maintaining the site, pay administrators, carry out advertisement, update security infrastructures among other incidental costs associated with running a gambling site?
3333  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: June 19, 2017, 05:09:30 AM
Cashless society is already with us whether we accept it or not. From the comfort of my room I can pay for goods and get it shopped from far away China to me I can also, pay for several utility bills and this can happen anytime of the day. This is also one fundamental feature of bitcoin in which I M optimistic will spread to a larger percentage of the world in few years but the issue is infrastructures because bitcoin still relies solely in internet in which bank has been able to surmount.
3334  Economy / Economics / Re: How to TAX Bitcoin. An easy way ! on: June 19, 2017, 04:48:46 AM
In my country, I have to fill a form every year for the tax department, including my year end bank statement and the salary bill.
Together with some major bills for insurance and healthcare, that's all they get.

So I can hide cash under the bed, or have an overseas account, or have some Gold bars, etc. The goverment has to thrust me quite a bit.
They can check some transfers, but if you like to hide it, you can do it.

So the actual way of getting the real numbers is quite bad.

In Bitcoin
If the Tax department makes it a rule by law, that you have to report every BTC address you own, or every wallet you own ...

All problems solved, because then the Department has also the addresses of the petrol station and the deli you spend money.
In no time the system knows which tax counts here and can claim the respective amount from both sides.

Sure it is still possible to hide Bitcoins, but then it is illegal.

...or did I miss something?
I guess that part of disclosing your bitcoin is something government has been able to lay their hands on because there is no way to verify if what you will be disclosing or not as at now like we have now compared to using fiat. And I think this is one reason why government will not accept bitcoin anytime soon because they need the money and bitcoin as at today will not give them their own share of the pie.
3335  Economy / Economics / Re: Could the banking system be behind cryptocurrenices? on: June 18, 2017, 08:06:49 PM
The creator of bitcoin no one has ever seen and the most contact he has had with anyone is via a few emails. It's a little strange to say the least. Plus bitcoin isn't even anonymous. I only ask because I keep hearing of this one world goverment thing who want to introduce a one world currency. It kind of makes sense that a one world goverment might be being implemented as they have and are creating unions, like the EU for example if more unions are implemented like African and South American etc it would worth paying more attention. Anyway, how do we know that big bankers aren't behind this currency and the so called creator of bitcoin isn't just a made up name? Who is behind bitcoin it's a conspiracy.

DUN DUN DUN. Illuminati confirmed!

All jokes aside this is a very serious question....... VERY SERIOUS!

The way bitcoin is, whether an individual backs it up or group of individual is actuay not a matter for discussion but the aftermath of the project which has come to turn out well. If the bank has even supported it as you have rightly alluded then it defies reasoning in the sense that how would someone sponsor what will literally bring an end to its existence which is something bitcoin is going for if all things are held constant.
3336  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: June 18, 2017, 05:46:21 PM
According to my friend preev.com, as of press time, the value of Bitcoin is standing at $2,351. Though I would say that this still considered as a feat, some are worried because it almost reached $2,800 again after the correction that happened days ago.

I have read that the decline can partly be contributed to newcomers especially neophyte traders who still have to be well-versed on the market...and can easily be ignited to do panic selling once they can fell that anything can be wrong.

Against this backdrop...are you holding on to your Bitcoin or transferring it into another digital currency?
Situations like this to me, does not worth losing sleep over because volatility is part of bitcoin at this time and its normal for it to happen. Everything we hear about correction or adjustment, is just a term I believe coined by someone to give explanation to what is happening and not exactly what is going on. For me, I am not selling rather I am buying more because one thing is sure the price is recovering and its something that have happened in this past few hours.
3337  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC is a roller coaster on: June 18, 2017, 03:34:04 PM
Just received reminder bitcoin dropped a lot, the price of the last week is very unstable, leading to other competing currencies continued to fall, there is no bottom line of that kind of fall, I would like to ask you tycoons on how to look at the future market?

For me, I have learned that when it comes to the bitcoin or crypto world in general, never be too sure about the future because that future you are so sure about might just go bleak in the next minute or next day without any warnings or notification and most importantly without any explainable basis. So, I just live a day at a time and take only calculated risk without being sure that this is what I can afford to lose.
3338  Economy / Economics / Re: What power does Traders have on the Bitcoin price ? on: June 18, 2017, 03:18:35 PM
Hi here !

So, the captitalization of BTC reached 40B $ , this is nice but not huge at all compared to FIAT currencies.

My question is : with such a "low" amount of money, does the traders have real power over the Bitcoin price ? I always heared about the natural inflation, simply more demand etc... But don't you think that if a lot of early investors with huge amount of BTC could gather and have control over its price ? Or they are simply slave of the system like every one of us ?

I'm waiting for your toughts  Grin
The traders have influence on the price of bitcoin to the best of my knowledge because those money bags you are referring to are also traders but the issue is just the volume they control whether individually or collectively is enough to make a difference considering the market capitalization which is just like a bucket of water from a pool in comparing it with foreign exchange market and other stock exchange market.
3339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New way and this works fine for me on: June 18, 2017, 10:58:00 AM
Thats good to have a plan to avoid big loss, but the thing wont you risk a bigger bet knowing you can get a bigger reward? Gambling does plays with our mind, and we get the ilusion of the lucky on our side and usually risk more then we should.
That's a good plan to avoid big losses but it's a good way to limit your wins too. I mean to say when we are winning on a swing we usually feel like betting all the day long but if we have some bookmaking (as said by op) we can always limit ourselves so we don't just get hyper with our wins and loose it all in a single click.

Comparing what is being wagered and earned from the way I see it is only for someone who is not addicted to gambling because everybody in gambling knows as matter of fact that he is either in surplus or deficit based on his activities in the gambling world but it does not make any difference since he has made up his mind to to continue playing irrespective of the of the situation of things and all this analysis won't even matter to him.
3340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about Casino with 0% Edge? on: June 18, 2017, 10:15:20 AM
I just found out about this project of Casino that will be opened and it has 0% Edge and I just thought, seriously, why we pay an edge in online Casinos?

I mean in Traditional Casino they need this Edge money for all the environment and all the feeling, a lot of employees and all the little things they give to us but in Online Casino, we don't get this, so why we need to pay? For them to be rich? Just this idea really annoys me.

I really hope this project will work out!

Zero edge to me is something that is not sustainable no matter how the promoters wants to paint it as the best because the question to be answered will include but not limited to

1. How will the site pay for its hosting?

2. How will it pay the admin of the site?

3. How will it pay for various updates to security infrastructures?

4. Will I be frustrated with ads because the money to meet up all these expenses must come from somewhere.
