3721  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at $1050.. China "inspection" has to be coming. on: February 20, 2017, 05:29:07 PM
Do you think it will be in less than 24 hours?

Lol this is really funny, This same thing I didnt believe until the last one happened when I had read it few days before and I was thinking its just a mere coincidence and nothing else until when price starts crashing and I read again, its due to Chinese inspection. But this time, I want to still hold the believe that it wont happen because the inspection has been ongoing since the last time and the price of bitcoin, has equally maintained stability.
3722  Economy / Speculation / Re: if the price of bitcoin has reached $ 2k? on: February 20, 2017, 05:09:10 PM
what would you do whether to keep waiting or will you sell the stock of your existing bitcoin wallet?

My own belief about the right time to sell is kind of funny whether the price is 1000k or even 2000k. I just follow my guts. At any point where I am cool with the price irrespective of whatever will happen after whether going low or going higher, I just live with it and even most times, I dont even follow the price until when I gather enough and ready to sell again then I start following and the reason is so that there wont be feeling of guilt in case there is an increase of price or happiness in case of fall in the price.
3723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple, Microsoft, Mercedes Benz Accepting Bitcoin on: February 20, 2017, 04:54:09 PM
Biggest companies accepted Bitcoin already, now Bitcoin will spread, more small businesses will accept Bitcoin.

Who have bought already?

P.S
Also Dell and Tesla accepting Bitcoin:

https://www.dell.com/learn/us/en/uscorp1/campaigns/bitcoin-marketing

This news is not new to me because I have even read about it a while ago even on this forum that is about the Dell part but the others is what is new to me. If true then its a good thing at least we are now having good news coming from the corporate world and this could even to a large extent give the credibility for other businesses to start accepting then it will flow down to the store next house in a gradual way.
3724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin make the same mistakes as Kodak did? on: February 20, 2017, 04:47:20 PM
You know, it is rumoured that Kodak invented the first digital photo technology, but they swept it under the rug, because they wanted to focus

on their film technology that worked. { Film made them the market leader in photography and they thought that it would be enough to keep

them at the top } Source : http://tech.fortune.cnn.com/2012/01/18/the-kodak-lie/

So what do we have here? Bitcoin think because it was the first to market with this technology, they do not need to adapt to the market needs.

The market wants scaling and it also wants cheap and fast transactions. Is Bitcoin providing what the market wants? If we think, Bitcoin can

stay on top, because we were first to market and we have a established network, then we will go down like Kodak. They also thought they had

the biggest share of the market and a big network of people using their technology... and look what happened to them. Adapt or DIE.

Well, your argument is correct and it does not only happen to Kodak but also Nokia and Blackberry have had their own share of dogmancy and they all pay dearly for it. However, I wont want to believe the same fate will befall bitcoin and the reason is simple. Bitcoin actually provides open source where developers can continue to improve upon and banks are even coming in to explore the technology compare to those others that have been carried away by patent and copyright monopoly.
3725  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin Talk Market Place on: February 19, 2017, 11:53:00 AM
It will be good to create a site name ' Bitcoin Talk Market Place ' Where any one can come to show their product and buy and sell all things in Bitcoin. Satoshi Nakamoto wants to sell his Bitcoin Magic Mouse to raise $200,000 Dollars to donate to a charity. He will publish an Auction Notice soon.

I want to believe that you are just trying to paint a scenerio around this in driving down your point because the bold part is something there has been controversy over the years in identifying the real Satoshi Nakamoto. But the service you are proposing is already being offered as we have the goods section, we also have the auction section where people bid and win among others. A quick look at the forum can settle your curiosity.
3726  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Need to Upload an ANN - SMART Bitcoin Investments on: February 19, 2017, 01:46:21 AM
You will likely either need to hire someone to support your cause or rank that account up before the ANN thread. Getting a random person on this forum to create the thread for your business is probably not so good of an idea because a) they have complete control over the thread and it's possible for them to be influenced by another business to tweak the thread, and b) they will appear to be affiliated with "SMART Bitcoin Investments".

And you have it right there and if the 'investment' then turn out to be shady, the integrity of the person comes into question then his account laced with red. I doubt if any one would want to sacrifice his account for that. Its either you wait, or hire someone for it who absolutely believe in your project and nothing else because anything short of that, you might have to blame  yourself.
3727  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Free $10 (0.01 BTC) --- Update : freebiebitcoin.com IS A SCAM!! on: February 19, 2017, 01:40:53 AM
Right from the beginning I had know that this is a scam. I checked it out then went to coin base itself because I have an account there to really know the conditions and its true coinbase is giving $10 but not for sharing URL but for referrals that have carried out a certain amount of transactions. From there I just gave up that $10 will not show up just for sharing URL.
3728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should governments allow people to pay their taxes in Bitcoin BTC? on: February 18, 2017, 07:54:08 PM
I went with yes because with government allowing taxes to be paid in bitcoin, will automatically means they have decided to accept bitcoin as a currency which will mean that we will get to increase the popularity of bitcoin in which we all wanted and all stores will start accepting the currency as a medium of exchange which will go a large extent in cutting the bureacratic process I get to go through in converting to Fiat.
3729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: whether bitcoin help you when you have financial problems? on: February 18, 2017, 07:32:27 PM
Bitcoin help me with my financial problem, im saving my earnings in my wallet little by little and i dont notice that its growing as time passes by. im not full time here but if you are saving it will help you in your needs like if i dont have money to pay my internet bill i have savings to turn on to.

This is something that is not only particular to you but to quite a number of people including me because I have found here as a way of making reasonable income without having to sweat it at the same time helping other business grow by joining signature campaigns. But above all, it has helped me meet quite a number of my needs in addition to my daily job income.

Sounds like a great job you did there.

how would you answer to a user who's asking : what guarantee do you have that you will not steal my coins and go rogue with an exist scam ?

Give us as much details as possible.

Thats a very good question because I am sure quite a number of people will want answer to such question and not only the poster alone but I think OP has been here for a while and like someone has stated, its just a renewal of the campaign and from then till now, we havent seen any scam accusations against him but its a bitcoin world and anything can happen. I guess we just have to trust the fact that he is here for business and nit any motive of scam.
3731  Economy / Services / Re: Smart Bitcoin Investment on: February 18, 2017, 03:52:44 PM
How we generate the Funds
Through Altcoin Bitcoins trading
Just a few years ago, the only way to profit was through "Bitcoin Mining".
Bitcoins are limited in amount... you can NOT produce them out of thin air nor reprint them, thereby making them safe from inflation! So, no matter how hard a government might try to put it down... they cannot succeed!
The bottom line to EARN them, however is that...
This is the “Hard Way”, for which you receive coins by helping the system to verify secure transactions.
This process requires a lot of computational power, typically multi-core CPU system or specialized bitcoin miners.
The algorithm is designed in such a way that mining becomes more and more complex and less and less profitable with time.
Automated Bitcoin Trading is the ANSWER.
The robot does not sleep, does not take holidays or stop on weekends. It is an everlasting profit machine at your fingertips.
We take advantage of automated trading bots in order to monitor the rise and fall in value of various online currencies and trade them accordingly in order to earn profits.
Buy low, sell high. Many are full of options, with algorithms built or programmed to buy/sell at the perfect times.

So you mean your bot will make me rich without any work? Just open it and go to sleep while making money? Sounds like a great plan.  Grin

Really smart investment plan if you ask me. but I still wonder why OP needs our btc when the bot has made him millions of dollars already. He could have silently keep making money via bot trading

its because he's planning to scam us Grin and i already seen this kind of act since mostly scammers used this kind of tactics so that they can scam people, and im very sure that he cannot get a victim here on bct since all of us are advance minded and aware of scam schemes,

@OP if your bot really works you surely don't need an investor anymore since you can make money for yourself, and if you are just thinking bad right here well just go away and find adecent job so that you would not think scamming just to satisfy your greed for money.

Are you kidding? I heard the OP is billionaire already thanks to his marvelous bot. Now he is launching a ICO so to bring the bot to the next level and make all the investors rich.  Wink

billionaire? Ows? And where did you find that one men? I don't see any threads where stating his new coin ico project where he promised to make his investors to become a millionaire, but to be exact or clarify those things i think OP should give some accurate details if his posted message is truly not a scam one.

You can't blame us to have doubts nor criticize this since i already saw some many scambugs people who's runs the money on those innocent people.

You should read between the lines that he is just be sadistic about the whole issue and actually make fun of op for bringing this to us when someone ask that since he is rich already, why would he need our money? I wont even bother reading the link because the signals are already there that the end if this, is definitely not going to be good for everyone.
3732  Economy / Services / Re: Hi , Read this i need a job :c on: February 17, 2017, 08:54:53 AM

Hi, I introduce my name in Michell Sandoval and I am from a country in economic crisis called Venezuela in which people survive with a monthly salary of $ 15, which is not enough to cover the expenses of any person, much less those of a family for This reason I ask you to give me the opportunity to have a decent salary in bitcoins in exchange for any task that you ask me to feed my family as they deserve. I hope you will understand me

Thanks and blessings

Even telling your story might not change anything simply because every one here have one story or the other to tell and more importantly no body cares and what really sells is what you can offer with your skills as nobody will hire you to do nothing. If you have the skills, sell it, if you dont, acquire some and then visit freelancing sites or even here and someone will hire you for what they believe you can do and not your story.

3734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets talk about proper due diligence for ICO's This industry deserves better! on: February 16, 2017, 05:50:44 AM
You can't do proper research due to anonimity and lack of transparency and you have no guarantees so as far as I see it, there are no investors to speak of, only gamblers.

Yes, you can make a profit from an ICO just as you could win with a slot machine if you're lucky, but that doesn't make it a smart decision to put money into them.

There's nothing wrong with gambling though as long as people are honest about it, and there's a lot of overlap between the definition of the two terms but I'd assume investing implies an educated decision based on research which is usually just not possible.

I agree with you that one of the factors limiting proper vetting is actually the factor that makes it more worthwhile and that is the anonymity. But the issue of vetting, quite a number of people dont have the required or technical know how on the vetting process or lazy about it. I think the way out is to always be attentive to the signals because something will definitely raise a red flag and anyone who tries to prove that should not be shut down but be looked into intuitive to verify if its actually true or not.

3736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Qtum]UTXO based POS Smart Contract Platform | Crowdsale March 2017 on: February 13, 2017, 01:22:13 PM

Of all these options will be best for me to take part in the Qtum crowdsale on the official website. For the Asian market, Asian exchanges are good, but for many people it would be convenient to use such as the exchanges like Bittrex or Poloniex. I hope that later Qtum will be traded on them too.

I am sure if you have taken a little time to look into the few responses before your comment, you will understand the reason why those exchanges you are making references to are not listed. I am sure that if they have their way, ( I mean the management of Qtum) they would have gotten listed on those platforms. Also we should also not be weary of not patronising other exchange sites so that they can grow as well.
3737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can i make Bitcoin/money from a third world country on: February 13, 2017, 09:15:03 AM
basicly for the past week i have been trying and searching on how to make money online .. but everytime i go into a survey site or an ad sites that pays u to answer question or to do a service .. i get the usualy " this isnt available in your country" .. is there any other way to make money ? im from north african btw

In all sincerity, the people designing those sites didnt have people in Third World countries in mind thinking having access to the internet over there could be a myth but thats their problem. Since you know that, the best way you can really make some decent amount is on this forum just build your account, join a signature campaign and earn btc then convert to your currency which will amount to something since cost of leaving over there will be relatively cheap.
3738  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Minig Vs Hardware Mining Which is best ? on: February 13, 2017, 09:04:26 AM
It still surprises me how one can even compare the two with what we have and seeing today. Its like comparing USA in terms of the advancement in technology and one Third world country. Cloud mining has never prove us  wrong in two ways;

1. Majority of these sites are scams and they will remain so.

2. The few ones not scamming just forget about getting any return because it wont happen or you will have to wait forever.
3739  Economy / Economics / Re: Where can i invest my money? on: February 13, 2017, 08:59:58 AM
There are several places you can put your money which is largely dependent on your expected return, even merely keeping it in your wallet alone is a form of investment which could turn out well or not depending on the swings of prices. For me, I have the option of investing in a gaming site or put the funds I have in altcoins with that I will be able to increase my bitcoin with minimal risk.
3740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Better Than Any Banks And Any Other Third Parties on: February 12, 2017, 09:30:56 PM
Every year migrants around the world send billions of USD/EUR back to their families. The cost of sending cash via Western Union and Money Gram averages 10-20% in fees. However bitcoin is emerging as an alternative which offers lower fees and faster payments.

Bitcoin also helps allot for countries with high inflation to store value in Bitcoins.
Bitcoin helps for millions of people worldwide.

How bitcoin helps for your life?

This your position is actually right but at the same time, what I see is the advantage of using bitcoin because quite a number of people repatriating funds home don't know about bitcoin and the few ones that know might be unwilling to use it due to the fact that they are scared of going against the law in which the position of government is unknown and they could be regarded as money launders. Aside from that, what of the people the money is sent to rather than collecting Fiat immediately, they have to go through the stress of converting to fiat in which the value might even fall within the waiting period.
