3901  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying clothes with bitcoins? on: January 12, 2017, 07:39:28 PM
I found this site this days http://www.gamiss.com

Can I buy this somewhere with bitcoins, prices are very cheap, and I saw some very nice clothes there. I wonder is there some similar site, where we can use our bitcoins to buy it. Now I need to ask people with credit cards to buy me this, I dont have one. But with bitcoins I would be able to buy it by myself.

Why don't try to withdraw all yout bitcoins and exchange in fiat currency? In that way you can check the quality of the clothes you want to buy online. Online shops are very strict with no return policy so if the size of the clothes are not for you there is no turning back.

Your reason is just the best and the only thing that will make buy with btc is if the store is located in my locality as I can check and just return if I am not comfortable and not the one that I would probably wait for like 5 days to get the shipped cloths then if its not what I asked for as a result of error, then I wait another number of days to get it return and corrected couple with the premium I will have to pay for shipping expenses.
3902  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: AMAZON FOR BITCOIN (BUYER CRISIS) on: January 12, 2017, 07:23:30 PM
Your post is confusing...  at first you say you are looking to purchase an amazon e code,   and then you want btc

which is it?

there are people who accept amazon e-codes but the rate is very bad.  usualy you get 60-70% of the amazon code value

Yes I know the rates suck but @ this pt I dont care..I can't find a Local Bitcoins dealer who accepts Amazon ecodes though. They all want pics recipts etc. Its BS

Im willing to purchase an amazon ecode etc to trade for btc.

Need:BTC
Have:Amazon/PaypalMycash/etc

I will suggest you just move your Amazon to PayPal with that, you can easily get someone to trade for you. Also, since you're vigilant already to know about the scam accusation, I will suggest you still keep at it but the issue about PayPal here is the fact that its reversible unlike btc and this could make people not willing to go that route. You can give that a shot as well. Also dont forget to use escrow. Its fundamental to keep your funds safe.
3903  Economy / Speculation / Re: Right Time to Buy BTC on: January 12, 2017, 05:04:26 AM
Is this the right time to buy bitcoin? As of this moment, bitcoin is at $769, almost where it began to rise and went pass $1100.
So is the current value where it will stay on average? I mean it can go down or up but on average do you think it will remain close to this value? If yes, then I'd assume its the best time to purchase some bitcoin.
Your thoughts?

Although no one can really know for sure the direction of which the price of bitcoin will slide towards because there are unfirseen circumstances that could totally change the ball game without giving anyone any heads up. At the same time, I would suggest you take time to study when the price will be relatively stable before making your decision.
3904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your gambling strategy on: January 10, 2017, 09:03:59 PM
Strategy in gambling? I dont have any I just do my thing and I don't think there is need for it in the first place if one had stick toother rules of gambling. Gambling is about chance and sometimes about luck which is not a respecter of any form of strategy so far its a provably firs system the same chance of losing is the same chance of winning just to pray to fall on the right side.
3905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum future on: January 10, 2017, 08:31:07 PM
Can we expect any significant rise in the price of Ethereum or not? There has been a lot of negative publicity and sometimes it seems that the coin is just slowly dying. Is that true?

No one is sure of what the future holds for even bitcoin itself not to talk of ETH but based on my own view I think the future is still bright for ETH if developers can still continue to work on the infrastructure already established and still keep the hope alive. The reason for my position is that when I found my way into cryptoworld, some months back, the price was around 12$ and today, its hovering between 9$ and 10$ which means it has not faded out completely as the drop is still reasonable to a large extent.
3906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can any altcoin overcome BTC? on: January 10, 2017, 07:51:59 PM
hi guys i'm talking about Monero and ETH can they overcome Bitcoin for instance?, would that be technically possible?

I would say it possible in some places in the sense that for those who want to remain anonymous and bitcoin with government regulation coming and all this KYCs all over the place, then I see them overtaking bitcoin in no distant time but for the majority of the masses using bitcoin who knows nothing or who have nothing to do in secret or anonymously, then I see alts taking over practically.
3907  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make 17 BTC out of 7 BTC ? on: January 10, 2017, 05:30:58 PM
17btc is a whole lot of amount to be made from the initial 7btc but its not impossible to make but at the same time it comes with its own risk which could mean even losing the whole or part of the 7btc.

it depends on the timing at hand, and the risk one is willing to take, if you are a risk taker and dont mind losing the whole investment then gambling in a reputable sites where you can be guaranteed of being paid your winnings if you happen to win, is the best way to go.

Another route to go is to partner with that fund to establish a service in popular demand which could generate that amount over a period of time.
3908  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price up and down on: January 10, 2017, 05:18:49 PM
Anyone knows what month always bitcoin stabilize so

I can buy more?

Will it stabilizre in 800usd?  How many months?

Someone told me chineses control bitcoin price

Someone just sold 5000 btc chinese guy on the value of

1100 usd = 1 bitcoin

No investment comes without its own risk and that is a responsibility that every individual must be a able to live with if one is really serious about making money. I will say it actually depends on you when you are ready to take the decision instead of waiting for people to tell you the course of action to take and I will encourage you to go for the one one you will be able to live with the consequences if otherwise sceneriao happened.
3909  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is being manipulated in China on: January 09, 2017, 03:06:03 PM
Its a possibility that its being manipulated but to the best of my knowledge, any anonymous story does not hold water and I am sure we will need more than that reported speech to actually believe what Op is trying to pass across. Another way to look at it is why is that its only China that its being manipulated with the number of users we have all over the world. That needs answer as well as what will be the volume of BTC they will hold to actually be able to influence price among other questions that remain unanswered.
3910  Economy / Services / Re: XBTFreelancer.com Signature Campaign (Full) on: January 09, 2017, 12:10:28 PM
Sorry for the delay, we had set up the escrow initially to be passive, however, after discussion, it seems things are easier if I make the payments directly, hence an active escrow.
Had to discuss a few further things with the runner, which caused the delay. Anyway, payments have just been made (20eb88242d991118ce82f0b27e5a480b989b228ecd3f192574fc47e67764da82).

Thank you manager, Luptin and Xbtfreelancer.I confirm that I receive payment for the last round and continuing for week.
3911  Economy / Economics / Re: What influences the Bitcoin marketplace? on: January 09, 2017, 11:43:41 AM
Several reasons can be adduced to have influence bitcoin in the market place and I would say one factor will not be totally responsible because for a large market like bitcoin then its going to be mirage of factors which I identified in my own way:

1. The forces of demand and supply will go along way to influence it

2.Another one which is not too obvious is the issue of speculation, this has proven to have been obvious where some exchanges will be trading at a price forcing other exchange sites to follow.

3912  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: January 09, 2017, 10:59:02 AM
Well i had 2 bitcoins but sold them around 2 years ago when it was back at $250. I still regret it I sold them but i needed the money back then.

That would really be painful with the increase in price that bitcoin has witnessed in recent time. That could really have made something this time. For me, I havent gather much since I can only make from Signature campaigns and bounties coupled with the fact that increasing in rank is directly related to what can be earned. So in all I have saved about 0.07btc and still hoping to make more as time goes by.
3913  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: January 09, 2017, 09:48:12 AM
although in the future will all be completely online, including payment. I'm sure there must be something that requires a paper money for payment, whatever that
I believe that the digital currency will dominate, but it will not make the papers disappear

Paper money will never disappear not in this century, in before the increase in the dominance of internet which makes the use of electronic money as such, it has not even reduce the amount of paper notes being printed by the Central Bank. Paper money has being with us for ages and centuries and for any kind of currency to replace it means it has to be around if not that long then close to that or else, the worse that will happen is that they both co-exist.
3914  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: January 09, 2017, 09:02:12 AM
I am very sure there will be an explanation to the way the banks related with you at the same time there are laws that guide their activities in which if you are not comfortable with, you can just sue them and ask for damages. Also, its a lesson to never to trust all your money in just one particular place whether banks or otherwise because you never can tell when you will need it the most and this people will start giving stories that touch.
3915  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: Commodity, Store of Value or Digital Currency? on: January 09, 2017, 08:13:13 AM
For me, I see it as the three because the three characteristics enumerated by OP comes together to give it the popularity it enjoys today and we all at one point or the other use Bitcoin for one or all the three functions above. For example

1. As a commodity, this is common to those who are good in trading by buying low and selling high at different point in time.

2. As a store of value, this is common to people who buy to keep maybe for 6 months or 1 year even more and wait for it to appreciates significantly before disposing.

3. As a currency, here we is for people who acquire for payment of services offered such as design of banners or even payment for signature campaigns etc.

Putting all these together,I cannot separate one from the other.
3916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best way to quit gambling for good on: January 08, 2017, 06:32:51 PM

There will be no meaning in trying with ineffective methods. Quitting gambling is not an easy task so we need extra care and dedicated ways of practising some new habits to get rid the gambling activities.

From my own experience, I was an intensive gambler some two years back after that I started to reduce my gambling hours and now I am finding some control in my gambling activities. So, it is possible, only if we we are dedicated to.

The best way to quit gambling to me, is just to find other creative avenues to make money or for those who claim they are into gambling for fun, they should look for more other productive ways to catch fun that will not involve losing money. And another thing is that, one cannot even stop at once anyone thinking that is possible, is probably joking as the best way is to take it gradually and in no distant time, one drops the attitude.
3917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: January 08, 2017, 06:11:58 PM
Gambling will be considered as sickness only when the losing aspect of an individual  has turn him to something else and he is still not willing to stop then that is a big time sickness but that will not be said if an individual is making some money in gambling, will that also be said to be sickness? Anyone who can handle the pressure whether loss or win in gambling should go into it and just know the right time to stop.
3918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? on: January 08, 2017, 04:54:49 PM
I am just wondering if you still would gamble if you would have enough money? I mean, now as it is, do you gamble for the fun or for the profit?

It will actually work like this for me, the issue of having enough money from gambling is probably not a possibility and since money cannot be enough even the richest still go after more money, so I will still gamble. And for the question of gambling for profit or fun, if I want to have fun, I know where to go to and its not gambling or what is the fun is losing my money which probably take more energy to gather than losing in the first place.
3919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know when to stop? on: January 08, 2017, 04:26:34 PM
When do you stop? Do you have a daily limit or something?

For me, its the simplest thing to do by sticking my rules which is "bet what you can afford to lose" that is my watchword. The moment I have exhausted that limit of what I can afford to lose, nothing is making me continue and nothing is making me borrow to gamble with. Other times when winnings come my way and I cant afford to lose that winning, I am just stopping to wait another day where I can get to try my luck again.
3920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: January 08, 2017, 04:22:19 PM
Having control over whatever one is doing is a basic thing to be done whether good or bad with gambling inclusive for me, I will say I control myself more than anything because I dont go towards gambling for joke its for serious business which is to win and if I cannot achieve that in due time after I must have exhausted my budget for that particular period of time, I am definitely stopping no matter what. Another day with another free money then I am coming back.
