I am from Europe, that is all I can tell you guys, NSA are probably on my ass right now so I must disconnect.

Is that because of those politicians that were supposed to resign due to new leaks? Grin
3022  Other / Off-topic / Re: What video games do you play? on: May 11, 2014, 01:13:37 AM
league of legends!! even thought someones mentioned it already.

Its really a fun game.

I`m with you on league of legends, but people there are so horrible. They make fun of new players =/ which doesnt make me want to play.

I remember when I started playing League of Legends... yep, some people are nasty. On the other hand, I was charging towers, and often dying with them... Smiley
3023  Other / Off-topic / Re: Answer the question above with a question. on: May 10, 2014, 11:36:48 PM
By "KO" do you mean the boxing term "KO", which means "Knockout"?

Do you know of any other meaning to the term KO?
3024  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Marketglory - Paying you to play! up too 0.03 BTC on: May 10, 2014, 10:49:53 PM
I don't agree.
It's a funny and good game.

Give me your username, let's see if you really are having fun, moneywise Grin
It's a great game for people who have absolutely NOTHING to do Tongue  Don't join it with the goal of making big money, because you won't :/

He posted his referral link, so he really is the player named "needmoney" in the game. Also he is seemingly not doing badly, but he has registered over 17 months ago. I have seen no evidence of € withdrawals however.
3025  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Browser You Use on: May 10, 2014, 09:24:47 PM
Well i mostly use firefox, never really trusted chrome and the fact that you never know when its updating and how google keeps  tracking you with it.
just updated my firefox to 29.0.1 its a lot better than the last one in design But i miss that Orange Firefox menu on the top left... now they introduced a option bar on right top just below the close window button.

Yeah, I'm not sure the part in which they repositioned the menu button was much of an improvement... Wink I tried customizing its position, but I don't think it lets you, unfortunately.
3026  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Marketglory - Paying you to play! up too 0.03 BTC on: May 10, 2014, 08:29:00 PM
I don't agree.
It's a funny and good game.

You're not making much of a case there; care to elaborate on what you find to be funny about the game, especially during the initial month if you don't invest? It's really quite tedious... I ended up only working as often as I could (or I should say, when I remembered the game) and only really started doing a bit more recently, when I had far more exp accumulated. Still, this took months, and I'm still quite limited in my options in the game.

The game is boring and designed to be so, in order to force people either to invest directly in the game or in advertising to get referrals.
3027  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: May 10, 2014, 07:56:57 PM
can i do this ?

You would have to be a Member to be able to join this campaign. At the moment you are still a Newbie, so it will take you a couple of months before you can join.

EDIT: Members have 60 activity, and activity increases by 14 every 2 weeks.

It is actually suspicious that he is not ready to hold escrow. Even if he does not want, he should have paid weekly to gain initial trust.

[...]

UpDown has decided to pay on a weekly basis during the first month of the campaign; so on the 15th of May participants will start getting paid. That should gain him some initial trust. Smiley
3029  Other / Off-topic / Re: Answer the question above with a question. on: May 10, 2014, 07:00:13 PM
Maybe he does write his own songs, but why does that not make him ok?
How do you make someone "ok"?

Perhaps it would be easier to answer if the question was, how do you make someone KO?
3030  Other / Meta / Re: I was banned for no reason? on: May 09, 2014, 11:16:46 AM
IMO a ban should be visible in the user's profile, so campaign owners may identify rule breakers and refuse to pay them. This should solve a lot of problems.

I had previously suggested withdrawing signature privileges for members banned while using a paid sig, which would effectively do the same.

EDIT: but as hilariousandco mentioned, there are then other considerations this wouldn't help resolve.
3031  Economy / Services / Re: WE WILL PAY MORE FOR YOUR SIGNATURE! Up to 0.0014 btc per post! on: May 09, 2014, 10:39:03 AM
Experience is not everything. I would prefer someone who never done it, but has a great trust rating and is great with people. Teaching is easy, gaining trust is hard.

Are you applying for the position?  Grin

Funds on the wallet, and bitcoin wallet can't be banned. )

Good to know. I hope everything goes well with the campaign from now on.
3032  Other / Off-topic / Re: True story of Phineas Gage on: May 09, 2014, 10:32:26 AM
If you add the beard to that guy and put an AMT bounty Miner in his arm instead of the pole it might resemble the PG we have on this site https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iO-EGJhdx4U
The guy in that story was he mumbling something about a Josh and a bounty?

hmmm maybe Not

So, that's Phinnaeus Gage? As in, the guy that is always bringing up goats, for some reason?  Grin

EDIT: if the reason has anything to do with the "Goat Simulator" however, I fully understand.
3033  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nintendo's rejection of gay relationships gives fans a lot to be angry about on: May 09, 2014, 10:20:37 AM
Fortunately the government was not brought in to use the force of a gun to make the decision.

Well... I am afraid that it is going to happen quite soon. It is just a matter of days before the blackmail tactics come out in the open. There will be several (forced) boycotts of Nintendos. Their merchandise will be taken off the supermarkets, and online shopping sites for example.

I think you overestimate the concern of those in power for these types of matters. If it is convenient for them to do so, like in the case of Russia recently, they will take advantage of it; but for a multinational corporation? I doubt it.
3034  Economy / Services / Re: Earn 0.01/50 Post on: May 09, 2014, 09:20:52 AM
Doesn't seem very attractive, what am I missing here?

Well, for one, the rates aren't the best... 0.04 btc after a month for 200 posts, or 0.0002 btc per post; Ritz, PD and the new UpDown.BT pay far more than this.

I don't have an idea about this forum, PD, Ritz and UpDown pay us for signature, but in this forum we get paid by posting. and they didn't have any specific rule for this (newbies, Jr Member etc) all you have to do just sign up, and make a new thread on Friday Payment and post your wallet addy.

But don't you have to make 50 posts a week anyway? My point is, for what they are paying, you make up to 3 times more as a Member here.

Yep, his Howzar account was banned and at least 1, probably 2 other accounts, that he used to try asking the mod why he had been banned.

Kind of reminds me of how Ritz started; am I starting to see a pattern here? Roll Eyes
3036  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Report: Russia to Begin Moon Colonization by 2030 on: May 09, 2014, 08:46:42 AM
Don't know.... Mars may be?

And talking of conquering other nations... do you find this list interesting?

[...]

I think you're missing a few in there... certainly before 1949, and in between those. Roll Eyes

Anyway, too bad there isn't much of an international cooperation anymore, but we need stuff like this to move forward. Plus, this will no doubt put pressure on western governments to invest more in space programs.
3037  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nintendo's rejection of gay relationships gives fans a lot to be angry about on: May 09, 2014, 08:23:51 AM
I don't really agree with The Irishman self-moderating his threads and deleting replies he doesn't like, but judging by the replies in here it doesn't surprise me. I guess you can add [bigoted version] to the thread title to avoid confusion.

Regardless of what the replies here are like, it fundamentally represents a part of the community you're in and their beliefs. Ignoring that and cherry picking what you want to hear, like TheIrishman is doing, seems self-delusional.

On the other hand, if a large majority here support Nintendo's move, a lot of people would perhaps feel intimidated and not express themselves in an open thread, but are more likely to do so in his thread.
3038  Economy / Services / Re: WE WILL PAY MORE FOR YOUR SIGNATURE! Up to 0.0014 btc per post! on: May 09, 2014, 07:30:36 AM
Oh... so that means that howzar can make a great deal of money by simply abandoning all of his signature campaigns.  Oh, that's scary. :/
I'm still interested but just wondering why the real owners don't just start it themselves..  Sorry howzar, but I wouldn't cal you a "trusted third party/escrow"...

The real owners of the site are still new to the forum, and upon a couple of requests for escrow, advance pay, weekly pay, etc., dealing with other new forum members, and a discussion about how they had copied the signature from PD initially, probably thought it simpler to just hand it over to someone of the community to handle. Can't say I blame them. Smiley

I've been banned.

I will do my best to keep up with everything until this clears.

Not an auspicious start for this campaign... do you know for how long the ban is, and will you still be able to access funds and pay everyone?
