3121  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is now dropping again on: July 26, 2017, 10:53:30 AM
After its rise approaching the $2,800 level almost two days ago, Bitcoin is now on a retreat again. I am speculating that this must be due to the recent announcement that there will be a new coin to be called as Bitcoin Cash and the continuing fear of what can be on and after August 1.

Until we can get over August 1, there will be that dark cloud appearing above Bitcoin and it has become a big issue so far affecting its movement and value. I am just simplifying things here so I want to hear all of your analysis and comments on this latest development.

This is a sure fact even though I was happy about the recovery last week, I had maintained that there is still need to exercise some level of caution because what matter most is sustenance of the increase in which I know the panic will still rise few days to approaching day we are all hoping for. Even now with exchanges suspending activities relating to bitcoin, while users are equally withdrawing to safer wallets, I dont expect anything on the contrary to happen to price.
3122  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A GANG of women kidnapped a man and raped him for three days on: July 26, 2017, 08:44:31 AM
This is really a serious issues that have even made men more vulnerable to the atrocities committed by this gang but from the look of it, I see some level of incompetencies on the part of the law enforcement agents that all they are saying are simply empty promises to the extent that after series of complains based on what OP has said,  I dont think its hard to know that its the same set of people who belongs to the same group are carrying out this dastardly act of inhumane treatment to innocent civilians.
3123  Economy / Economics / Re: Signature campaign as my job? on: July 25, 2017, 08:16:19 PM
A young guy of that age is really smart to have known the way to earn such at this time. If that amount is converted to my own fiat, I tell you, its no small money. However, I feel earning such amount could therefore inhibit the process of learning as a young guy of 15 here is just starting life which could be in high school. To concentrate will be a problem because he had to be online to make some posts that's why I will still maintain that bitcoin community is not meant for teenagers.
3124  Economy / Economics / Re: Sensitive market at this moment. on: July 25, 2017, 05:42:16 PM
yeah I don't really like the idea why alt has to sufferred from bitcoin crash, people should really need to start making a crypto coin that not pegged to bitcoin lol.

Unfortunately that is the situation of things when all coin claim to be the next bitcoin and developers come and claim its better than bitcoin but they fail to understand that to meet bitcoin means they have to create a niche for themselves and start expressing their values in relation to fiat and not bitcoin which is difficulty to do. They also forget that anyone holding  their coin is also holding bitcoin but not the other way round. There is no independence yet.
3125  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are we heading towards an Indo-China war? on: July 25, 2017, 03:41:33 PM
There wont be war. If there is no war between Russia and USA with the series of provocations they have heard and we have seen all over the internet, or the issue of North Korea and USA then there still wont be war because no country can afford the outbreak of war by turning back the hand of time in relation to development especially when it comes war between contemporaries.
3126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you play Dice can you feel your heart in your throat? on: July 25, 2017, 12:52:06 PM
I dont see any need for this when anytime I gamble, I am going with the mind of losing and wont even go there with the amount I am not willing to lose or afford to lose. What I do when I take unnecessary risk due to greed is just to roll and look away. When I win, I win when I lose, I move on to something else without getting down or having to feel my heart in my throat.
3127  Economy / Services / Re: *** BITOTAL BTC SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN *** on: July 25, 2017, 11:59:09 AM
I guess the rates are too low for a one-week campaign. With these rate you may don't get any good posters as no one would get attracted with such low rates (just my opinion). Best of luck anyway.

I don't think its in anyone position to decide whether a payment is low or not, its what the promoters can afford at the moment and they equally know what is applicable on the average to solicit for such services. If anyone is not comfortable with it, he or she should just pass by rather than reminding them what they already know.
3128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cash-out or buy Alts before August 1? on: July 23, 2017, 08:16:15 AM
The moment we begin to make our decisions based on events coming up the more volatile the price of bitcoin will become to be swings by the direction of events but when we all maintain our position with the mindset that August 1  will come and go and the players will still be us, then  indirectly we are promoting the stability of bitcoin and if any one wants to sell, let him/ her go ahead without dragging others along with him.
3129  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: We Buy Bitcoin 2X the price (Paypal) on: July 23, 2017, 06:09:56 AM
I don't understand why this is a subject of discussion when it's obvious its scam. Any trading with PayPal for my btc is even not encouraged for any reason not to talk of a newbie who is still assuring that "You may have charge back" which is what will eventually happen and your btc is gone forever and its never coming back.
3130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: transferring money oversees question on: July 22, 2017, 03:55:47 PM
i saw a topic the other day (not here) asking about a way to send money from another country to where i live.

the easiest, most secure and cheapest way possible.
the amount was about 20,000 £

so naturally as a bitcoin user the first thing that came to my mind was bitcoin.
it is the easiest, it is super fast, and it is 100% safe if you follow a couple of safety measures, and it is super cheap!

but i didn't suggest it because of one problem:
i already have bitcoin so if i want to send money i just go to my wallet and click send Smiley
but for someone new, he has to go to an exchange sign up, deposit (pay fees), buy (pay fees) then send and the other person on the other end has to do the same or find someone to sell bitcoin p2p and that usually is under market price.

i guess my question is, is bitcoin really a good option here and what can be done to make this process easier and better ("in general" not just in this particular case)?
I don't think the stress is that much because the process is that high if he wants to go through exchange sites as from what you portrayed but in a place where I stay, its not that difficult to do, all that is needed is to just get reputable individuals to pay the money in the originating country bank account and get the equivalent in the local country but when it comes to bitcoin, all that is needed is also to buy from individuals then convert in the country to fiat

3131  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: July 22, 2017, 11:18:44 AM
I dont think the issue of what type of coin will be accepted in the case of a split should not be a subject of discussion for chipmixer when I dont see any deviation from what the community will be adopting. The exchange sites will take a position and that will be the binding position in my opinion where the other will be taken as an alt and when that happens, Chipmixer can then tweak its software to adopt the accepted one but doing that now is jumping the gun in my opinion.
3132  Other / Politics & Society / Re: John McCain has brain cancer, his office says on: July 22, 2017, 10:32:40 AM
I don't like how John McCain has been in the government for over 30 years. We need term limits. He is part of the Swamp and it is sad to see that the only way to get a Senator out of office is by him being 80 years old and soon to be on his deathbed.

He has done a ton of shady stuff and there is pictures of him visiting Al Qaeda(which we fund). I hold no sympathy for someone who personally helped create Al Qaeda and ISIS at all. He is responsible for hundreds of thousands dying or even millions, and tens of millions being forced to retreat from their homeland.

He is an absolute scumbag through and through. For someone who was held captive as a prisoner he sure doesn't give a flying F about the hundreds of thousands to millions he got killed by funding terrorism.

Nobody should have any sympathy for this Monarch who ruled his Senate seat for 30 years because of corrupt parties who don't let challengers have funding to run against him. No rebpulican challenger can get funding to run against McCain, he literally has to die to get a new person in. That isn't American, we need term limits.

I understand that you might have issues against Mc Cain but the issue here is that the man served his country for years and thats something to be grateful for. In the position of power, people make decisions that are beyond themselves and in which the details and contents are not open to the public but such decisions is for the greater good. I also agree that there should be term limits, in the business of law making, experience matters alot.
3133  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Population on: July 22, 2017, 09:59:57 AM
What is the best solution to resolve our problem in overpopulation?

The case of over population is a fundamental thing that needs to be tackled head on. In as much as I wont support restriction on the amount of children to be given birth to, there is still more to be done in allowing people to give birth just like inviting someone over in the case of immigration with minimum income so also it should be for children and then we should do away with unwanted pregnancies because those are the children that turn into social menace in the society.
3134  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price Increasing today on: July 22, 2017, 09:23:09 AM
Bitcoin price is  Increasing today very rapidly and quickly. what happened ?
Is there any good news that make people buy again bitcoins.

I think it is the majority of vote for softfork, which make people think there will be no two chains and bitcoin price will go not to 4000$ and above.
Best time to buy cheap now.

This is something that is quite surprising but since everyone is happy there no one bothering about real reasons rather the one open to us which is the confidence returning to bitcoin but for me, I dont buy that because its seems its just happening all of a sudden and the price just start increasing without any basis of news that could warrant that.
3135  Economy / Economics / Re: Never Fear! Buy Bitcoins to make your life clear! on: July 22, 2017, 08:56:22 AM
I think we shouldn't even worry about Aug 1 anymore?

I also subscribe that time for getting worried is over, and I dont think even the few days to August 1 will cause much effect as it did few days ago again. Also, it brings confidence because of the potential split which means I will have two versions of BTC and this is another reason why people are buying and those who sold are trying to get theirs back but unfortunately you need to part away with more money to acquire what you have lost.
3136  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Investments in the media on: July 22, 2017, 03:30:58 AM
The fact is there is nothing wrong in investing in the media but the point here is the capital and the way of ICOs might not be the best option, because that would mean doing some serious analytical computation, with ROI, forming a team escrow team, be ready to be analysed back and forth, which is even not a guarantee its going to be successful but a team to push it will go a long way though.
3137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The "I cannot afford 1 BTC"-Problem on: July 21, 2017, 04:10:48 PM
It seems you have not convinced them enough because if you have, then you get to show them various threads or even websites where they can buy in bits. And aside that, you can equally introduce them to faucets as that is something that show them the bits in which bitcoin is divided into. With all this put together I am sure any serious individual can leverage on that as a stepping stone to an higher level for being able to afford 1btc in the long-run.
3138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should owners with BTC on Exchange do before Aug 1st? on: July 21, 2017, 12:59:49 PM
What any reasonable exchange site should do is what others are doing if it does not want to be faced with series of scam accusations thread pre or post August 1 and the best way to approach it is to release a statement to that effect in other to calm their clients then suspend activities hours preceding and succeeding the August 1 issue then come out with a position of how the want to handle to fall out that might happen in consonance with what others are doing as well.
3139  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Reach $3,000 Next Week? on: July 21, 2017, 12:35:48 PM
I dare say, $ 3800 will be reached by next week, so prepare for some rough and rowdy BTC coaster ride.

And if that didn't happen, what will you do on live TV? Its true that confidence is returning back into bitcoin and its something we need to be rejoicing about but I don't believe price will just continue to be pumped without any fundamental reason. In recent times I have not read of any massive adoption of bitcoin neither have I heard that bitcoin as been legalised every news points to the issue of August 1 which means to me, the sustainability of the price is of essence at this time more than before.
3140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it worth using bitcoins anymore for gambling ? on: July 21, 2017, 10:28:04 AM
I feel my bankroll management and savings all are highly unstable. Can go up or down by storing money in bitcoin to gamble. Some form of betting like poker requires good bankroll management and with value changing everyday, I don't see bitcoin as a good use for poker players and sportsbettors.

I don't see any issue here whatsoever because whether price increases or falls, the 1btc put into gambling bankroll still remains intact aside from those reduction that might come as a result of those winning but they are also gambling with btc which means it does not affect anything. I think where we all get it wrong is seeing btc in relative term to its worth in dollars to determine whether the fund is increasing or decreasing.
