341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best multi currency wallet on: January 10, 2018, 03:22:36 PM
The best multicurrency wallet is a hardware wallet in my opinion. I use the ledger nano S, and am 100% satisfied with it. Its a good idea not to cheap out when it comes to security questions. Imagine loosing all your funds because you were to greedy to pay $100 for security. This would be way more annoying than having $100 less in the portfolio.
I also have an eye on the pillar project. I hope that they will be able to built a next gen multi currency wallet.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] The NAGA ICO - SMART CRYPTOCURRENCY FOR STOCK TRADING & GAMING. on: January 10, 2018, 03:16:58 PM
Is the NAGA ICO over? How much funds were raised if so? Did you reach the $30 million?

I can see on coinmarketcap that its traded on HitBTC already. Is this only IOU's or its already the real tokens? I want to buy some from the exchange, but HitBTC doesnt let me sign up an account there.
Are other exchanges planned soon?
343  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we totally eliminate all the banks in this world? on: January 10, 2018, 03:10:42 PM
I really dont think that something like this will happen. The banks arent not just watching from the sidelines while the worlds population is turning towards cryptocurrencies. They surely will try anything to stay in power, and its likely that they will find their ways to do so.

On top of that: banks are needed, not everyone is able to handle his money on his own. But I believe that banks will have to change the way they work big time. The time of creating new money with every credit they hand out will be over and they will finally have to work for the people and not only for their profit margin.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: January 10, 2018, 03:07:28 PM

i hope the same will happen to ELIX and SC someday  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Wink

Me too!!! I cant wait for SC to finally tripple (or even more) my initial investment. Ive been holding this coin for over a year now, with the recent price increase it finally equaled out compared to the price I bought. But there are no profits yet. Binance should make this happen!
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: January 10, 2018, 03:05:35 PM

Binance is actually the reigning top exchange right now. You can use Binance Coin for a 50% discount on fees. Let us see if Binance can retain its spot in months to come.

I guess for the time being Binance will remain the top exchange. It well deserves being the top exchange in my honest opinion. I guess the real danger for centralized exchanges are decentralized exchanges and atomic swapping. Both will become more popular in the near future. I hope Binance sticks to their plan to become a DEX sooner or later.
346  Economy / Economics / Re: Where do you spend your money from Bitcoin? on: January 10, 2018, 03:03:10 PM
If I someday will have enough money from my crypto investments that I can buy a house, I will do this. But before that day I wont spend any of my crypto on things that I dont need. Of course I sometimes do need some money so I cash out minor amounts, but nothing that drastically decreases my portfolio.
347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: January 10, 2018, 03:01:47 PM
I think Bitcoin is secure as its tech has proven itself over the years. So far nobody on the globe was able to crack the cryptographic encryption. I read that there is a possibility that it will be broken when quantum computing becomes a reality, but I think that this is still far away, so for now, I believe that Bitcoin is secure.

The weakness of Bitcoin is, as with so many other things as well, the human using it. If we dont protect our private keys, we put ourselves in danger of loosing our BTC. So dont try to save some bucks when it comes to security!
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Stox - Prediction market platform | Token sale has ended on: January 10, 2018, 02:58:29 PM
Hi there, does Stox already has a working product? If not when is it planned to be released so that everybody can use it?

What I wonder about is, if Stox will kind of work like Wings, so that people need to stake their Stox tokens to predict something and if they are right, or close to, they will be rewarded?

Thanks for the answer in advance.
349  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: January 10, 2018, 02:56:22 PM
I believe it impossible for the bitcoin to lose its value. Maybe its value can be down sometime but I'm it will just take time and it will pump again and its value will be higher than before.

Well, its definitely not impossible for Bitcoin to loose its value entirely. The value is given to Bitcoin through people that believe in it. But imagine a hard government crackdown on Bitcoin. Most people will panic sell and abandon it. This would have the effect of the price going down drastically or even to zero if there were no more buyers. Its just silly to think that Bitcoin is invulnerable.
350  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: where do you get your predictions? on: January 10, 2018, 02:51:55 PM
I only got one website that I regularly check out, that is coinspectator. This site provides me with all the information about crypto in one place.

Other than that Im in some telegram channels that are giving good trading advice. But I have learned the hard way that its always better to do your own due dilligence when it comes to trading or investing, as the advice we find on the internet is most of the time just advice given to benefit oneself from.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AEON [2017-10-07: update to 0.9.14.0] on: January 10, 2018, 02:49:02 PM
Glad that I got involved with AEON some months ago. My investment already trippled. I dont remember how I became aware of AEON, but I think it was through the forum, thanks to the individual that showed me AEON in his thread. 2018 will be a great year for anonymous coins and AEON is at the forefront of them!
352  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - The most advanced cryptocurrency exchange on: January 10, 2018, 02:44:26 PM
Are new signups on a hold too on HitBTC? I tried to sign up for several days now, but all it shows when I try to sign up is a pop up showing the message: undefined. What does this mean? Anyone else facing this problem?
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ZERO - COMMUNITY TAKEOVER on: January 10, 2018, 01:30:37 AM
Just stumbled on this project. It does seem pretty compelling to me. I will do some more research on it and then decide if I will invest in it or not. One question that I have, is the devs/ team anonymous or are they known? Thanks in advance for the answer.
354  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do YOU sell? on: January 10, 2018, 01:26:58 AM
I have seperate exit points for every coin or token that I hold. But I also got an overall portfolio exit point. Hope that if I can reach that million USD value, I will be able to cash out half of it and leave the other half in crypto. Thats my plan at least. Time will tell if I will be able to stick with those exits.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I just became a millionaire on: January 10, 2018, 01:24:42 AM
Congratulations to you mate! Its great to hear such a story! I hope someday I will also make a post like this. I just checked Snovio on coinmarketcap, this coin really got a crazy increase. Where did this x50 rise originate from? Or was this juts the market?
356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late to get involved into Bitcoin? on: January 10, 2018, 01:20:51 AM
Definitely not! The sooner you get involved the better. Waiting for no reason wont change anything. So the advice I always give to people when they ask me if they should get into crypto or not, it just to get involved and test the new waters. Its always better experiencing first hand than just watching from the sidelines. Im really glad that I didnt hesitate long when I heard about the cryptomarkets and just jumped right in, the rest came by itself.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ORCA ALLIANCE - BANKING PLATFORM CONNECTING CRYPTO & FIAT SERVICES on: January 10, 2018, 12:10:39 AM
Orca Alliance is a really promising project. As it should be important for the cryptospace to show commitment for a regulatory framework for the cryptospace towards the regulators and institutional bodies, we should value this project high as they are trying to take care of this honorable task. Keep up the good work. I hope that the ICO will be a big success!
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EHF eHealth First on: January 10, 2018, 12:07:29 AM
definitely disruptive concept in health. This can be good projects for developing country where healthcare is private and costly. looking for more details in whitepaper for sure.

You are right, we might see things differently when it comes to healthcare and medicine issues. When it comes natural to us, it doesnt mean it is the same in other counties. This project will definitely have a big impact on those who lack healthcare the most.

Totally agree. As medical record keeping isnt something that is provided as a normal thing in every corner of the world, projects like this will be disruptive in those countries and can really make a difference. Im looking forward to the success of blockchain accelerated healthcare!
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So many new ICO, how to check if it's scam? on: January 10, 2018, 12:05:56 AM
Its really hard to distinguish the legit projects from the fake ones nowadays. As many projects have fancy websites nowadays that are visually compelling and are easily manipulating people who didnt do enough research.
I personally have set some filters for myself to evaluate ICO projects. If there is no working product, the project is out. If the team doesnt make a good impression, the project is out. Etc.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I find a good altcoin? on: January 09, 2018, 11:40:40 PM
Reading, reading and more reading. This is key in evaluating coins. Read different sources. Read on forums. Read on Blogs.

An analysis of the fundamentals of coins is essential when deciding where to invest money into. Its also important to check out the team behind a crypto and the commitment they are showing towards their community. For this purpose its good to check out the official communication channels from the coin.
