3421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why when the BTC goes up the ALT goes down? on: December 23, 2020, 06:53:19 PM
Bitcoin probably increase the first one and due to that. People tend to feel like they're missing out that's why they sell all their alts to Bitcoin and hodl for it without leaving something for a little bit even for the alts.
Just my thinking though since BTC pretty much is their solid ground mostly when it comes to investment.
3422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel about altcoin long-term performance? on: December 22, 2020, 05:35:16 PM
~
This is why many altcoins are meant to be daytraded anyway.
I've hold some ICO tokens and they went dead for quite some years now and good thing I managed to sold to the narrowest price as possible before it went flat.
3423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Need some help to Understand Bounty campaign on: December 22, 2020, 05:34:14 PM
There are so many bounty campaign that moderate by newbie with 2/3 activities, is that kind of bounty are safe and believable?
It's a risk, OP. It's an investment for you to give time for finding out about the project dev's reputation.
Newbie is surely a red flag, and there might be some purchasing copper membership just to prove that they're willing to buy and support forum and not just pop out of here screw with people. That's just the tip of an iceberg though.
3424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A little word of advice is enough for the wise on: December 22, 2020, 05:32:11 PM

Just use those platforms mentioned to buy specific coins. Do not hold coins in such centralized wallets. If people aren't up to buying Trezor or Ledger, just use desktop wallet.
People have their own access to their own seeds as well as their private keys.
Don't hold your coins in an exchange as well, no matter how reputated it is.
3425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the founder of Bitcoin Satoshi Nakamoto show up and give bitcoin? on: December 20, 2020, 09:41:54 AM
It doesn't mean that if he's not active here means that he's  just chilling in his couch.
Those reasons you mentioned are weak for someone else's reasoning that almost blew the media to just simply pop up out of nowhere.
It's been a decade and a lot of things already happened to the world. All we know he's just doing his daily life and spending time behind a screen.

3426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not everyone will agree with Bitcoin, you should know this! on: December 19, 2020, 07:11:41 PM

Who the heck is Mark Cuban? Yes you defined him as an entrepreneur but what did he do at majority to make such statements though.
Why the heck are we talking about some guy ranting about certain coin? It's not like we can even believe what he says just like what majority of trolls that even have reputation in the whole internet like Mcafee.
Just buy when you want to buy.

PS. I searched Mark Cuban and he kinda looks like Craig Wright. Not surprised they're both against the real Bitcoin, lol.
3427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC reached another ATH, what about ETH? on: December 19, 2020, 07:03:00 PM
If bitcoin made a new All Time High record now in the crypto market, do you think  Ethereum will also follow and break it's ATH last year January 2018 which is more than $1000?

We have always observed that if bitcoin rises in value, most altcoins follow as well. Even now that bitcoin has reached another ATH, altcoins are also increasing and now, market is in green celebrating the bitcoins new record
No one knows. Maybe?
Even though among altcoins, ETH is the leading. We still never know if there's gonna be another ATH for it, but surely many people are into Bitcoin for now and alts would surely follow up as what many had thought of.
3428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion is highly needed! on: December 19, 2020, 07:01:37 PM
It's not that tough, OP.
Though rent would cover your needs temporarily, but a house would still be better at any circumstances.
Bitcoin would just follow up later on.
You'll never know if you'll be stuck forever in that rental apartment, even you mentioned 5 years,  once you invested in Bitcoin ,because nobody knows what the price will be next month.
Buy the house and just start saving up from their for your investment in Bitcoin. Once some random price correction occurs, you might be able to buy Bitcoin at its lowest.
3429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How true is this? on: December 19, 2020, 06:50:51 PM
Is it true that if altcoin season starts many projects will be forced to launch just to take advantage of the green market? There are some projects that failed to launch since 2019 I heard and some said that in 2017 many projects start rushing to take advantage of the market, how true is this?
Yeah, but it usually just dies out pretty much after the season anyway. Altcoin season might be also the wolf's season to hunt for their preys to scam.
There were a lot of those back in 2017 and I wouldn't even be surprised that many would do it again since Bitcoin pretty much got past 20k and there would be many not wanting to miss the train already.
3430  Economy / Speculation / Re: I bought BTC at 23.5K$ on: December 18, 2020, 06:51:25 PM
Just right on time though you could've earned more back when it was still stabilizing in 19k and more when it was around 10k.
It's your money and your trading strategy. As long as you see greens in the chart, you did the right thing. Many could've been thinking of too late right now in investing but just put it in their mindset that there ain't a single peak when it comes to Bitcoin's price.
3431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Non funded projects vs funded projects on: December 18, 2020, 06:47:21 PM
~
Well because from the meaning of the acronym, red flags would already arise anyway. Getting investments from people before the actual launch of the project is surely risky as hell. At worst, they end up just getting dumped after the launch unlike the mentioned coins in the OP.
3432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should you take loan(s) to invest in crypto? on: December 18, 2020, 06:45:33 PM
Isn't your loan supposed to be used to something that you prioritize to cover?
It's not that it's a bad idea but you're risking something that you might not be able to pay when the time comes. Unless that the coin you invested does a price surge so sudden then you might.
It would be like a last second thing to think of doing.
3433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Fishing sites and fake wallet on: December 17, 2020, 06:33:21 PM
I just want to know that is it possible to have password in wallet just like we have in exchanges(if any popular wallet implement this then other will also do).
So that for any withdrawal we will be always asked for otp no matter if you mistakenly shared your phrase key or not

As of this many of us will be safe( Specially for those who are new in crypto)

I also had lost 700$ worth tokens 😭 and these type of scams are very popular in crypto

Electrum's your best shot.
Just want to correct you that you're probably referring to phishing site.
I almost got a victim of that in airdrops though and since MEW doesn't have any 2fa authentication, once I lost the private key. My coins surely lost forever.
3434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it right time to Buy Alt coins now? on: December 17, 2020, 06:31:55 PM
~
Alts might follow up sooner enough so if the alts, not shitcoins, are showing a bit of red right now you should probably buy that now. There's no perfect advice for this but it's up to you in the end if you can handle the losses from your invested money, but pretty much it is suggested to buy now on the lows right now.
3435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin finally reached $20k on: December 17, 2020, 06:27:36 PM
Few minutes ago, Bitcoin hits $20k and now traded at around $20k. Welcome to new era. We are waiting for a long time to see such things and finally it gives us that peace. Still hoping more to see in the coming days.
My hype drained out waiting for it, but meh it's still nice that I had earned something from waiting and holding. Congratulations to anyone that were hodling and finally got their 20k dream come true since 2017. Smiley
3436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STRANGE RISE PATTERN on: December 16, 2020, 06:56:24 PM
~
To answer your question, OP.
Not all alts follow the Bitcoin's price movement although it is quite common mindset of it already because pretty much many investors have the mindset of separating investments to other coins.
Maybe this is just a bit of something different for XRP, but you never know though what price rise awaits just around the corner.
3437  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Btc hit $20799, what is the next move ? on: December 16, 2020, 06:54:37 PM
Finally Bitcoin break all time high, what are you thinking about btc&alts price in this bull run.
Feels "exhausting" and I ain't even motivated to sell all my coins and call me greedy on that and I don't care. I just don't want to zero out all my balance right now.
It might be a bit stupid but I might still buy a bit of BTC just because it looks like it might go over 20k but I feel like price correction is around the corner.

Pretty much many would be selling that's why I had the thoughts of that correction.
3438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $20 000 BTC. We did it on: December 16, 2020, 02:33:34 PM
This is a great achievement for all of us, but the question is what will happen now?
Will there be a big sale of bitcoin and withdrawal of earnings of large investors, and larger price corrections?
In that case, we may not see such a high price again so soon.
Same feeling actually. It was like a crawling increase of the price and we're like stuck in 19k for weeks. I don't mind though. It's gonna be expected for many people to withdraw right now due to the awaited price that was also eyed back in 2017.
Anyways to those who held from the bearish trend back then when times were like 4k-ish, here is your day now.
3439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: For Bounty Hunters on: December 12, 2020, 07:13:16 PM

Hi
what are you talking about buddy?
welcome to the forum
I think you are new here, try to make useful threads and don't bring up something that you have never experienced before.
You need to explore this forum first and read a lot.

I'm just amazed at your viewpoint on bounty hunters.

to be precise here I see that you are wasting your time. we work seriously and not joke like you.
We don't participate in autograph campaigns once or twice, which is why we understand little by little. If you think we are wasting our time, then it is clear that your accusation is wrong
It's an alt of someone I believe. No one would just vent out here in the forum with a specific things that were already happening for quite some time.
We can't blame him/her though. The venting out could've been from getting scammed from a project.
OP's got a point though. It's better to gain real skills and get a real job than hunting for bounties in here.
Writing post here for reports, sharing facebook posts, and retweeting post to earn isn't really a job. It's like just a reward for doing some task, and not something that would sustain your lives. Writing articles is a different skill though and people might think of looking for that skill as well instead of focusing on hunting a lot of bounties.
3440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many old coins are dead and abandoned by the developer, WHY? on: December 12, 2020, 07:07:53 PM
It's either just that they're pure scammers (common).
The hype on the coin just drained out. Making everyone leave the said project not just the investors but those talking about it as a community.
Red flags for those possible abandoning of the devs would be rare to no repositories in their Github page. Projects have that mostly posted and it is obvious that it is abandoned when many months have passed but no pull requests have even been made.
