It's not supposed to be the price that we should term the "moving forward" when it comes to Bitcoin and as well as "the future". How about we all focus sometimes in the adoption as well as the term of moving forward? It will come along with the price we're talking about in here.

Even if they did, the least they can do is to ban exchange we got these days like Binance, Bittrex, etc. Sites like LocalBitcoins also counts for another and those custodial wallets you know, they're being taxed as well when you cash it out. However regardless of the bans and efforts they can make, people still have access to VPNs and p2p transaction.

I see this person a lot here in the BTC board, even sometimes proving that stablecoins are the best. lmao @OP You should just better be off if you really not into Bitcoin. Now would you excuse me, I gotta pay my bills through Bitcoin payments. At least I can USE it other than hodling it.

Well not all alt coins are tied to price of Bitcoin, obviously stablecoins are one but I wouldn't count them. Who are selling, you ask? Either of the two. They could be the weak holders. Not everyone is confident enough that the price of Bitcoin will obviously get back up soon. Just accept that these people exist. Another one are those who are in need of money. You can't blame them.

while developing countries often view something new as unimportant, considering that the resources they have are very minimal, as a result developing countries are often left behind in the digital world, especially bitcoin itself.
~
At least for me here in my country, it is seen more of as an investment rather than like something that would prove convenient as a payment method because of its equivalent from USD to our local currency when converted. Good thing it wasn't banned though.

Have you read the sticky thread in here, OP? [General] How to earn BitcoinsYou are still new here. Why not give each boards' stickies a little read, will ya?

I quite remembered when I opened up my LocalBitcoins account back in the days. I was not sure if I would do p2p transaction, because I never knew who was I about to meet up to, and I even had the past misconception about Bitcoin being used by people from the dark web. Fun times, but after that I stick to my usual online one through custodial wallet as well as using desktop ones like Electrum.

Depends. If you're into long-term investment, you don't need the "right times". You just need something to chill you out in the long run of your investment. Day trading would be the one that you're talking about because that strategy really made me think that I do not belong to crypto trading but indeed I was....only with different strategy.

Along with the twitter of "you know who I am talking about". Seriously stop letting the FUDs get into here in the forum, it is kind of messing everyone. Shitcoins getting pumped and real topper coins being dumped for the wrong reasons.

Here we use a third-party app to cash out BTC to paper money and aside from the conversion fees that are gonna be involved, we're getting taxed when we cash it out from certain remittance center that are near us. When you use a third-party app, you had lost your pseudonymity, not anonymity, because most likely you're gonna need to undergo KYC verification. Government won't let you just net out hundreds or thousands of cash.

Hello, OP. You should probably just be off researching by your own. Even a higher ranking member managing an altcoin ANN thread or managing a bounty could still ruin your day as you know that there are still some purchasing accounts happening off-forum.

Not at all times. Not all people are willing to just drop their shitcoins and expect people to get it easily. You gotta struggle more and sell your info at some airdrops out there, buddy.

You can even just distinguish some coins in the market that if it isn't near BTC then it is a shitcoin. Most probably those who aren't on the toppers. However people shouldn't expect too much that BTC will lead them to their Lambo.

If I was already holding that amount in a custodial wallet, I would just try to cash it out by small pieces. I can see where the OP is going with this like where the devs would question the amount of cash to be converted from BTC. I would not want to go another hassle to satisfy their requirements which would even take mostly around 5 business days.

Still some tend to follow the price of Bitcoin when it dumps. In my perspective if I would invest like through diversification, I would consider from BTC to alts and vice versa depending on the situation. @OP There are forks as what was mentioned but it isn't all made from BTC.

Not surprised about that. The dollar equivalent to most 3rd world country are really worth the time for some. Me coming from a third world country as well, it isn't just worth the risk for me as I was already done being phished back in the days when I attempted to do.

It is not anything new now. Expect that the same even happened back in 2019 when BTC dropped to 3k. Just take the opportunity to buy more before the train takes off.

~ But I am very sure BTC is not in Decline Stage.
Meh and it will never be. I would not categorize BTC as a product but since we seemed to talk about product life stages here. Here is one from my findings about "growth stage". "Growth Stage is the period during which the product eventually and increasingly gains acceptance among consumers."Now to put it into perspective of Bitcoin, it hasn't been adopted a lot yet that most are dreaming of so yeah pretty much we're still in the growth stage.

Worse other alts value just go lesser than an atom. @OP Just DYOR. Either you expect someone shilling their coins in here or you won't have any good advice since it is your money. In case of doubt, go with Bitcoin.

Banks and any other regulated institutions will keep spreading FUDs for Bitcoin regardless, mostly by only random speculation like the bubble will burst as you mentioned. They know they do not have the full control of Bitcoin, so the best they could do is to just spread FUDs for sure. This counts for Musk as well, now that he dug himself a deeper hole from what happened. At this point, there is not much to do but to test yourself to be a strong hodler.
