361  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I found Facebook trading group they work with signals wolf of wstreet on: September 07, 2023, 09:50:16 AM

Their Facebook link so far looking decent group

Link: https://m.facebook.com/groups/3093147371003425/
You can’t tell if this certain trading group would be reliable or not unless if you decide to join. But let me remind you that not all that glitters are gold, they may have decent Facebook group but it won’t guarantee that they’re not up for something. So learn to be cautious and once you decide to join on their group, just put a small amount so that if ever you lose them, you’ll never end up regretting.
362  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin and get rich quick syndrome on: September 06, 2023, 09:24:47 PM
Bitcoin and it’s get rich quick syndrome is totally a misinformation. In any type of investment, there is always a risk and there’s no shortcut to succeed on it. Most particularly for bitcoin where it’s one of the most high risk assets that anyone must decide to venture into bitcoin should gain the basic requirements first so they won’t end up losing and become frustrated. Perhaps this get rich quick syndrome was only for those who invest with greed but without knowledge, because in reality bitcoin is never easy to deal with and you’ll gain series of losses at first before you can say you’re getting profits already.
363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 06, 2023, 02:54:22 PM
I saw TMZ reporting over the holiday weekend that Draymond Green slapped a bartender at a Los Angeles restaurant after the bartender had some nasty comments to say to LeBron James. This resulted in Draymond being arrested (allegedly?). I haven’t seen this making the news rounds so maybe it isn’t true? If it is true, I wonder if Draymond will be starting the year suspended.

If he's been arrested, the solution is simple. He pays and leaves.
Draymond Green is a problematic personality, so the news may be true and I wouldn't be surprised.

Well, to clear things out.
Quote
Fact Check: Has Draymond Green been arrested? Viral LeBron James disrespect video debunked

The report claimed Draymond Green 'backhanded' a bartender for disrespecting LeBron James. This was a claim aiming to poke fun at Green's close friendship with the NBA superstar.

However, the report is untrue and came from a parody account posing as a popular NBA news account.
https://www.sportskeeda.com/basketball/fact-check-has-draymond-green-arrested-viral-lebron-james-disrespect-video-debunked

And if these things were true, I don't doubt that almost all sports media outlet will be biting in this issue so that they can deliver their own news and as usual, some will take words into a much higher level instead of bringing facts and what really happened behind the incident. Anyway, it was just a parody just like what is mentioned above.
364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: As a gambler do you have a potential winning amount limit? on: September 06, 2023, 12:59:16 PM
~snip~

Gambling can't be a part of anybody's streams of income. How can gambling be a source of income when instead of earning it is very possible that you would lose money instead?
Gambling has never been a source of income for me and it's really too risky to make it as a income or invest your time on it. There's no guarantee of a monthly or weekly income from gambling and making money through it can be very hard and depends a lot on your luck.

I don't recommend gambling to anyone who doesn't have a stable job. Without a reliable source of income, you're at a high risk of losing your money quickly when you're hoping for a profit. However, for gamblers who already have a steady income from their real-life jobs, gambling can be considered as a form of entertainment to test their luck and not considering it as a job.

Well, I don't recommend doing it at all regardless of their status because I don't want to be the one who will get the blame if ever they aren't that lucky enough and end up in huge losses or worse debts are piling because they haven't weigh their situation correctly and put their emotion behind the wheel.

It's much better for me if they will come to me to get some advice about the bets that they're taking because in that way, I know that they are already gambling and only looking for some advice and not suggestions about whether they should gamble or not.
365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: presuring someone into Bitcoin investment on: September 06, 2023, 08:27:21 AM
When encouraging people to invest in bitcoin, i prefer to talk more. Most people don't like to do research and are tempted by what they hear from others. It's wiser to talk about the attractive aspects of bitcoin instead of pressuring them.
When you talk more about the attractive part, then you are getting everything wrong. Why will you talk more about the attractive part just to encourage people to invest in bitcoin? What if things go wrong after investing, and those people to whom you introduce bitcoin don't know about the necessary things they need to know about bitcoin? Because you want someone to invest in bitcoin, that doesn't mean you won’t tell them the facts, you have to tell them that they can lose money in bitcoin investment. You shouldn’t just focus on profit alone in case if loss comes in, they won’t be surprised or disappointed.

Some people have been brainwashed, and they don’t even know they can lose money after investing in bitcoin. They have the belief that if they invest their money in bitcoin immediately,  they will be in profit, so whenever they invest and they notice there money is reducing, they will start tagging bitcoin as scam and they will blame the person that introduced them to bitcoin and might also tag the person as a scammer.
Precisely. Stating those positive things only is like deceiving them. They will be attracted to invest and expect to get profits, but when opposite happens, then they will start to attack you and blame you for giving them wrong information. That’s exactly the reason why I don’t chase people to invest in bitcoin. Although I believe bitcoin can be a life changer at some point, but it takes knowledge and exceptional skills to make it finally happen.
366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Jermell Charlo - September 30th in Las Vegas on: September 05, 2023, 02:02:47 PM
One thing that might go for Charlo here is that he doesn't have to drained himself to 154 lbs. And he is probably the bigger guy here, I mean he is taller that Canelo and could probably be walking more than 168 lbs in the off-season. Just like when we see him in the Spence vs Crawford fight, for me he is walking close to 180-190 lbs that night.

So no more weight draining him in this fight and he could be really be a fit at Middle to Super Middleweight division and very well be comfortable at this weight class that's why he didn't blink and look forward for this fight with Canelo signs a 3 fight deal with PBC.

I don't see it as an advantage he can be bigger but Canelo is good at going inside against big guys unless he can do the things like what Bivol did whenever Canelo tries to gets in Bivol have a counter move and counter punches, the key here for Charlo is his defense and how he counters.
Canelo was beaten by two of defense and counter punch specialist, I'm sure his team will work it out, Canelo is offense minded so Charlo need not slug it out, id he knows how to wait and do the rght timing in landing big punches then Canelo wil have a long night ahead.

We can't just fully underestimate Charlo here because just like what has been said, he got some advantage when it comes to the size and height, so maybe we can say that he might imitate what Bivol did and use that same advantage against Canelo so that he will have some struggles during the fight. He might be the king of 168 but every boxer has their own weakness and Canelo has been cracked already, that's why it's not that really hard to do mainly if Charlo is able to bring his speed and strength at 168.
367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A weird belief among some gamblers. on: September 05, 2023, 11:23:40 AM
Superstitious beliefs were found everywhere. Gambling isn't an exception, because at some point they could've won out of some calculation. In reality those were just coincidence, and the winning person's mentality defines it according to the way he had understood. Most of the time gamblers look for specific place and dress code, colour of the dress while gambling and this is little different from the regular way of thinking.

I agree, in reality, there's no such thing as increasing our odds in winning if we have some beliefs or superstition that are followed. It's just a mere coincidence that made the people think that those kind of beliefs, whatever they are, are working on them and so they start doing it for the purpose that their chances are much higher.

The good thing is, these things aren't banned because it's already personal to the gambler. And as long as things are working fine for them and they aren't messing with the other players because of the said fact then the casino or any other platforms won't stand against it.
368  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Emotions dealing on: September 05, 2023, 09:34:37 AM
Emotions is a weapon used against traders causing them to move out of a trade untimely which may eventually cost them loss.
The solution is better not to trade, in my personal opinion. You don't want to involve feelings or rather you also don't want to involve instinct in trading. But the fact is that crypto trading will always involve many factors, be it feelings or sudden decisions. Even knowledge is tested to find out how much the probability of profit is if TP.
It’s better to stop trading if you find it hard to manage your emotions and create right decision making. Trading will always involve emotions no matter how you try to control or avoid it. That is why if you become too emotional when you experience losses with trading and you think that won’t be healthy for you in the long run, then it’s better to stay away from trading and just be satisfied with buy and hold. You are still making profits at the end of the day as long as you’re patient enough to wait for the right timing to sell.
369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How was your first experience with gambling? on: September 03, 2023, 03:08:58 PM
Gambling is a game that has an addictive effect. Most people who have joined gambling sites will find it difficult to get out of the gambling circle. It doesn't matter how much you lose at gambling, as long as we still have money, we will continue to gamble

Can you share your first experience playing gambling? and who told you about gambling sites?

I myself know gambling sites from my own friends. I idly and try to deposit. Starting from playing with a little money, after a while I didn't know how much money I had spent playing gambling

      -    It only becomes addictive if the gambler wins at the casino where he or she is betting. And it is up to him whether he will permit the addiction to ingratiate itself into his gambling psyche. However, that can happen if he gambles and, despite experiencing success, he does not allow it to drive him toward addiction.

And if he accomplishes that, it may be argued that he is a responsible gambler, which can also be considered, in my opinion, because he has control over his gambling and doesn't allow it to lead to negative outcomes.

Well, that says that not every gambler is an addict because there are some gamblers who are well aware of what they are doing and will not do anything that might be a trouble to them when the consequences comes knocking at their doorstep. But we literally cannot say as well that even if they have the full control of their minds, they are already not in the risks of getting addicted because in every activity they have, there will be always a chance for them to be addicted because after all, they are just human beings like us who are vulnerable of anything.
370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 03, 2023, 01:36:39 PM
There is also a wild speculation on Giannis, him and Anthony Davis of LA Lakers for a 1:1 trade? I'm not sure though if the Lakers are going to make this trade, but for me this make sense. AD is already fragile and we all know that it was a cringe to watch him attempting to get rebounds or block shot as he might get injured once he lands down. This is just speculation though. Everything though depends on the performance of the Buck and Giannis, or maybe this is a sign that they might not be as good as the previous years as everyone for sure have heard about Giannis comments and it might have crack the relationship of the team right now.

If I were the General Manager of the Milwaukee Bucks, this trade would never happen even if Anthony Davis improves a lot from last season. As he is already known to be injury-prone, I would not invest in a player with a history of injuries like Anthony Davis. Giannis has had some injury issues in the past but they haven't been as like Anthony Davis is. I would consider accepting the trade if it included additional players like Austin Reaves not just Anthony Davis.

Correct! Why bother to trade your superstar with someone who is known to be an injury-prone player? that's make no sense at all.

Though on some side both are really playing great and the impact is not by far but investment wise, for me, I'll rather
add more money for Giannis' deal instead of letting him go.

Giannis is an all-around player and if he will play with someone who can meet his level of competitiveness, chance that
they may win another title is still possible.

He's not a good player to trade for Giannis. There's no question that Davis is talented, but it's a big gamble for the Bucks to accept Davis because he's known to be injury-prone. While we're not hoping he will get injured, history has shown that he has been plagued by injuries most of the time. This is also the reason he was traded to the Lakers from the Pelicans.

I agree. It's too risky even if we say that the Lakers will add one or two players along and some future picks, the Milwaukee Bucks still won't benefit from that trade and if they're looking to trade Giannis because of his requests, then it's much better to wait from the other teams as I'm confident that they can offer more compared to what the Lakers can do.

372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: September 01, 2023, 01:30:55 PM
Gambling is important to the society because it provides huge taxes that government use on hospitals, infrastructure and other projects to help its citizens. Monacco country is popular with their casino but they don't allow its citizen to play. This shows how important gambling in their country because they still allowed to operate it even though they don't want citizens to be involved.

The same with South Korea, they have several established casinos as well but it is only open for the foreigners who visits their country and if I'm correct, rectify me if in case, I think that Macau also prohibits its own citizen to gamble. Anyway, that is one of the reasons why countries doesn't ban casinos and gambling because the taxes that are generated in this industry are just too huge to neglect and it can truly help ones nation to build more infrastructures and other needs to help its citizen live comfortably, along with the security. But the downside of these casinos are also too great to neglect because apart from helping the nation, the effect of it is that people's lives can be destroyed.
373  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My experience as a beginner trader on: September 01, 2023, 06:26:45 AM
There are no experience mate Grin you lose  as a beginner to become a stronger trader  Smiley so for everyone out there thinking of QUITTING QUITTING is not the option here just keep learning  till you  can say "Gone are those days " Grin
When it comes to trading, not only newbies but even pros in trading lose as well. That's how risky trading is. However, for beginner traders, their losses are happening more often because they are still learning on how to trade properly, and their skills and strategies are still in process. If they quit along the way, then they will never have the chances to be profitable traders, but if they accept the challenge and continue molding their own skills and expertise in trading, eventually they will become efficient traders in the end.
374  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading not for everyone! on: August 31, 2023, 09:23:28 PM
Absolutely right. Trading is hard and risky, so one should never jump into trading unless he’s ready to take the risks and overcome frequent losses from trading. That is because trading has its inevitable losses as well, so if you’re not ready to lose, then never do trading from the start. However, trading provide great opportunities to earn, and if you’re knowledgeable and skillful enough, you will gain maximum profits in trading. But if you think you’re not capable enough to trade and overcome losses, then practice more because that’s the only way to improve your skills when trading.
375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A person who won 600k$ in lottery on: August 31, 2023, 03:23:08 PM
As I've grown older and hopefully more wiser (or perhaps it's just cynical?), the advice that I've seen that you should not share a lottery win with friends or family looks increasingly more sensible. However it really depends on your own family situation, if you have a small and close knit family - plus win enough that you can be generous towards others without it affecting your own future, then by all means tell a few people who you may want to treat along the way. However if you win a relatively small amount and have no plans to share, it's probably better not to announce it as you'll only breed animosity. Now $600k is fair chunk of change but in some places like New York or London it wouldn't actually stretch that far in terms of buying property. However in India it's likely a revolutionary amount.
That is just the way it is, as soon as you revealed that you won the lottery then a bunch of loan request will come your way, because people think that as you did not earned that money through your hard work and won it simply by being lucky then they have the right to get some of it, and even if you were generous and loaned them the money, you can be sure they are never going to pay you back, as in their minds you do not need that money anyway as you have way more than that, so keeping your win a secret seems like a sensible choice to me.
That's why we must be careful about telling other people, especially those not close to us, so they don't take advantage of us. They will be happy to think we are a winner and try to worship us even though we have no idea what they mean by that. It is better for us to tell the family and make a family plan together to have one goal to improve our family.

And we also don't need to use the money excessively because we are worried that someone will suspect where we got the money from. And the last thing is maybe not to change into someone different because that will make other people suspect it and will try to find out what happened to us.

That will always be a trouble specially if you will not transfer a residence, not to a different country but somehow far enough without their knowledge that is still situated in your city. It will be harder for you if you stay in one place because your residence is already relevant to them, and they will always find a way towards you to seek some help even though they can handle it themselves.

Furthermore, you should also have to learn how to take a stand because that is your money and of course you need it to make your life and your family's life more comfortable. And you cannot definitely do that if you have some liabilities that aren't even needed.
376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: August 31, 2023, 01:35:04 PM
Prior to picking Oguni, there were two or three ranked fighters who challenged Casimero. One of them is former 118 champion Luis Nery who is ranked WBC #1, WBO #2, and IBF #7. Casimero at the moment is ranked WBO #3 and WBC #8. Maybe Casimero's team thinks that this type of fight deserves a belt which makes this a high risk with low reward. Besides, Nery is banned in Japan after being caught using illegal substances. And I doubt Casimero agrees to travel to Mexico which is also very risky IMO.

I think that's the other way around where instead, the Casimero camp is challenging Luis Nery but the latter camp didn't have an interest.

Anyway, doesn't matter anymore as Casimero just needs to take down all opponents on his way. After that, we should see a bright light on his career by having a shot to face Naoya Inoue at the WBO title or unification, if possible, if the monster wins against his counterpart champion, Tapales.

In the past Johnreil Casimero indeed talked many times about fighting Luis Nery of how he beats the Mexican. I guess nobody is ducking between them and they just went separate ways. Also, Nery was already at 122 when Casimero was still fighting at 118 as the WBO champion. Now it's just talks about challenging each other since both of them have no belts so they also know that it may not be worth it. Both fighters were also the ones mentioned as Inoue's targets in his title defense. So the real target is Inoue for the belts and the money. Nery might have a better chance of getting Inoue first since he can be named as the WBC mandatory but he is banned in Japan which means Casimero might get Inoue first. But maybe Casimero and Nery will finally fight each other down the line but for now, they need to take a belt first.

Nery has a higher ranking than Casimero, so it's likely that he will become a mandatory challenger. However, as you mentioned, he is banned in Japan, where the fight would likely take place since Inoue is the champion. Hence, this scenario is unlikely to occur.

For those unaware of why Nery was banned in Japan, you can read the article below:
https://www.ringtv.com/530936-japan-boxing-commission-bans-luis-nery-life/

Regarding the situation, it might be wiser for Casimero to face Nery first. If he wins, he could then potentially go up against Inoue, even if he isn't a mandatory challenger yet. The question remains: would Inoue accept that challenge?
And that is what we are calling, a fight between two explosive fighters in Neri and Casimero, however, it seems that this might not materialized as Casimero will face another Japanese fighter. But his fight with Oguni is being viewed my many as a 'warm-up' fight.

Win-win though for either Nery and Casimero if they class, winner getting Inoue, that is if Inoue remains at super bantamweight as once he beat Tapales and unify the belts again, he might go up at 126 lbs and chance a belt. Another question is, will Inoue remain at 122 lbs if ever he had unified the belt?

If you guys have forgot, CASIMERO AGREES TO THREE-FIGHT DEAL WITH JAPANESE PROMOTERS; which is why now he is getting a Japanese boxer again instead of what we have expected as he is indeed looking forward to make his name good and lift his rankings in WBC as well. If I'm not mistaken, this will be his last fight with the said promoter and after that, we will likely see Nery vs Casimero if in case there is still time before of the any sanctioning bodies will order a mandatory fight to the unified champion.
377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin movement: my thought on: August 31, 2023, 10:02:45 AM
I just thought of this, and I want you to view it from your own perspective. As everyone hopes that more people get to believe and use bitcoins, I think bitcoins can gain more new users on a large scale if anyone (whales ) can place their advert through a popular football club just as some companies do sponsor  football league. I think this will send a strong message to billions of people across the world who do know but does not embrace Bitcoin usage.
Let me site another example, let's take for instance, a club announces that they  will pay their players in BTC. This news can also help people adopt BTC.
I guess a lot of bitcoin enthusiasts have done it before but still they end up only with bitcoin popularity, not in bitcoin global promotion. That’s why a lot have settled only in bitcoin as an investment tool. However, if you want to try it for yourself, I’d still think that’s a great idea. But make sure that you know the risk first of using bitcoin as a currency so that other people won’t blame you if their bitcoin prices have suddenly experienced price decline.
378  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Timing and Trading on: August 30, 2023, 09:46:09 PM
Timing is important in trading, but the most important than timing is developing a trading strategy, as this strategy will place the importance of timing. For example, if you are a long-term trader, times such as a day or two will not constitute a change in the price. the scale on the weekly pattern or several weeks is what governs your trading strategy.
in daily trading trading patterns is less than 24 hours, and therefore allocating it to hours or minutes will be the best, and then your profits will be limited to less than 5%, or whenever you achieve profits, even by 1%, you can close the deal, as the trading strategy here is to achieve several simple profits, but open several Intraday deals, which is the opposite of long term trading.

In general, trading is a mixture of several things. the simple knowledge of all of them is what makes you make a profit and not focus on one type of trading.
Absolutely. The type of trading will also depend on where you’re skilled at, but I say your knowledge and skills, will lead you to the right timing of your trade. Timing is very much important, as well strategies and attitudes towards trading are crucial as well. If you are not capable to fit all these things in your trading career, then it’s better not to jump into trading but acquire more knowledge and develop more strategies first before you consider taking risk in trading.
379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 30, 2023, 01:10:01 PM
Warriors can't get Giannis, but one thing that is "just a bit" possible is to get Giannis to play with Doncic. That is going to be tough, and the playbook has to be quite solid because Doncic could be a shooter but he is not a lights out shooter, and he likes to drive inside, with Giannis liking the ball so much, Doncic liking the ball so much and potentially if they still have Irving then him liking the ball so much, you will have a team that is consisting of stars that want the ball in their hands.

Warriors would have been a better fit, but unfortunately that is not going to happen and that is why I think it should be important to remember that Giannis has to go to a team that is filled with shooters, even if not Warriors.

The Warriors can make it happen if ever Giannis will insist that he will only seek shelter in the Warriors roof but if no team will be named, I bet almost all of the teams in the league will submit their requests to so that they can land Giannis in their roster because that is already a chance. Knowing Giannis, he's the kind of player who doesn't care which team he plays, he just wanted to be surrounded with some players who also want to win because that is also what he said recently about his situation in the Bucks.
380  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holder are not maximizing the bitcoin potential on: August 30, 2023, 09:08:16 AM
Bitcoin hodling might be underrated but if you are hodling sufficient number of bitcoin, you’ll end up an instant billionaire in the future. So I don’t think hodling alone does not maximize the potentials of bitcoin. However, with bitcoin trading, people know that the profits are more promising and tempting, but hey, trading is never easy and it needs close to perfection skills and trading expertise so you can be profitable on it. Otherwise, you are only wasting your money in trading when you consistently trade without knowledge and skills being honed.
