401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX: Making Blockchain assets spendable on: January 09, 2018, 01:13:51 AM
I am really looking forward to when the TenX cards for Canada or the US will be sent out? Any word on this? I have been waiting just like everyone else. I guess they will email when they send it out?

As far as I know, this will only happen after the order backlog for european costumers is resolved. As I didnt receive my card by now, I guess you will have to wait some more time for yours. But I guess you will be right, TenX has great communication via Email, so I guess its likely that they will communicate this as well via Email. Hope you will receive your card soon!
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airbnb ICO on: January 09, 2018, 01:10:40 AM
wow, i haven't heard about this ico, but i like airbnb in general. it is much easier and convenient for my family to use airbnb then booking a hotel room, and i know that there are a lot of people like me, so this project will be interesting for many people. i would look through the white paper, seems very interesting.

As long as everything works out fine with AirBnB its convenient to use. The hassle starts as soon as there is a problem and you have to start to deal with the extremely bad costumer service of AirBnB. In the end I payed more for phone bills, letting my lawyer write a letter and spending hours after hours running behind my money, than I saved in total through AirBnB.

Yes I completely agree!! Their customer services and dispute resolution is crap. There's a huge need for blockchain in this area. After reading their wp and looking at how arbitration works, I am very excited for what they have set up.

So true, this "dispute resolution" thingy was the worst thing I experienced so far. I just ended up with money, time and energy wasted in a gross amount for a not even close to satisfying result. Im really looking forward for Airbnb getting crushed by the competition evolving around the blockchain space. Im totally into helping Beetoken to become successful with their honorful task!
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STRAT IS A SLEEPING GIANT ! on: January 09, 2018, 01:07:46 AM
Love to see STRAT now being finally valued over $20 USD. Actually I didnt think that it would take this long for it to reach this milestone. I guess that STRAT will be performing great this year. I expect it to reach at least $50 USD per STRAT.
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: January 08, 2018, 09:21:04 PM
Seriously don't understand who the fuck makes the decision to reopen the new account registry when there's over 200K new accounts being made on a daily basis. It's like allowing 500 cars a minute to use a road that only supports up to 50 cars a minute. Sooner or later this comes crashing down.

I don't think there is 200k new account being made daily.

But it is annoying to wait for registration opening time. But in time they will probably clear limitations.

I read 250K on a daily average.

I read that too, and do think that a number like this is possible. There are many new people flowing into crypto every day. Im happy that I have all my accounts on all exchanges that I wanted to be registered on. As many other exchanges do also put new registrations on a hold for now, its a pity for everyone who is not registered yet.
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: January 08, 2018, 09:18:38 PM
$10 is looking much high at the moment while it's still under $1 first it need to touch that level. I also have good amount would be happy to see that if this could happen by the end of this year.

Now $10 is hard to imagine. But this will happen sooner than we might think. I've experienced this with many coins. Unfortunately I wasnt invested in most of them because I thought yeah, I still got time to get in, and then the coin suddenly jumped to another level and the opportunity was lost. I learned from that. Thinking big is the first step to success!
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SUMO] SUMOKOIN - 🔏 Digital Cash For Highly-Confidential Transactions 🔏 on: January 08, 2018, 09:14:28 PM
One of the best coins around. I love this wallet, it is one of the most advanced that I have seen so far. Its good to be here now, while SUMO is still sleeping, I expect that it will be much higher valued in 2018 when more people learn about it. Go SUMO!
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still believe in ICO ? on: January 08, 2018, 09:11:25 PM
It's impossible that all ICOs will work, some will fail. But that does not mean we do not trust ICO anymore. There are still many ICOs that have great potential.

You will be very right with this prediction. I would even go as far as predict that 4 out of 5 ICO's wont be here anymore by the end of this year.

We got to keep in mind that most are only startups with mere ideas of their project. The problem with those ICO's is that people can raise money before they need to prove their skills of realizing their idea. Thats were many many projects will fail, because money is not everything, there will also be a lack of professionals to hire, so a lack of expertise will cause many projects to fail. Lets see where we will be at by the end of 2018!
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best ICO of week on: January 08, 2018, 09:07:25 PM
Best ICO this week might be Envion. They already raised over 50 million and its the last week of its ICO. They already have a working product and will start producing the MMU's as soon as the ICO has ended.

Another ICO that is coming up, but not this week, it will start next week, is LiveEdu. They also have a working product! They will revolutionize online learning and provide project based learning for their students so that they can learn how to build real products instead of just learning theory. Im very hyped for those two ICO's!
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: January 08, 2018, 09:04:36 PM
Of course I still do support Ethereum! I strongly believe in this network. As there has been a whole ecosystem of projects forming around it, Im highly confident that Ethereum is still in its infancy and is likely to grow much bigger this year. There should be better governing though, to protect people from scam coins and to avoid situations with trash tokens such as useless airdrops or this cryptokitty thing. Ethereum has a long way of prosperity to go!
410  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading analysis, is it real or speculation. on: January 08, 2018, 08:41:39 PM
Well I think there is some kind of analysis possible, but after all nobody knows where the market is going. Its just prediction based on chart analysis and experience I guess. But for most crypto markets its very hard to do proper technical analysis because the markets are so young and cant provide sufficient data for a proper technical analysis.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why are all coins going down on: January 08, 2018, 08:39:47 PM
Dont panic. This is only a minor correction, nothing out of the ordinary. You will get used to this sooner or later. Its quite normal for cryptomarkets to be highly volatile, so a 10% loss in a matter of hours or even less is nothing special. Just try to stay calm and control your emotions, the markets will recover.
412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: January 08, 2018, 08:12:20 PM
Well, this would be great if we witness this, but so far I dont see that this is likely to happen. As income tax is mostly screwing over the "normal" people that have to pay a lot of their hard earned wages in form of taxes, while big corporations are avoiding taxation in the billions, its just about time to disrupt this unfair system and force the governments to focus on taking their taxes from these big corporations while normal people will be relieved. Thats the right development in my opinion.
413  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin domination era is over? on: January 08, 2018, 08:07:48 PM
NO, I dont think so at all. We are just witnessing another bull market for altcoins, after the huge bull run on Bitcoin. You must keep in mind that Bitcoin still is the biggest winner in 2017. When there was a bull run on altcoins in early/ mid 2017, BTC market dominance was also under 50%, so I think this is just normal. Bitcoin will be on top of all other coins/ tokens soon again, Im confident in this.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron cryptocurrency on: January 08, 2018, 08:04:29 PM
What is this cryptocurrency about after all? I found some of those in my Binance account and today also the same amount in my liqui account. I do not complain, free coins are always nice, but Im wondering how this coin can be rise this high while giving out so many free coins?! Guess I will just hold the coins that I got from the exchanges.
415  Economy / Speculation / Re: The market is on fire today! on: January 08, 2018, 08:01:40 PM
It's not a correction people.  Coinmarketcap delisted the entire Korean market.  No one sold off, it just looks like it.

https://www.ccn.com/ripple-is-not-actually-down-by-30-coinmarketcap-removes-south-korean-price/

Just was about to refer to that. I do also think that this is the reason for it. However I still expect that Bitcoin will go down some more, its just about right, as there was no real correction after the constant rise. We will see if this healthy correction will come into play anytime soon.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinmarketcap announced they will exclude some of the Korean exchanges on: January 08, 2018, 07:58:17 PM
Well, I think that this is the right thing to do from coinmarketcap. I was annoyed too by the fact that the average price was altered by the higher pricing at korean exchanges. I dont think that they should ban them entirely though. Just excluding them while calculating average prices would be enough in my opinion. For me its sometimes also interesting to check out the pricing in korean exchanges.
417  Other / Off-topic / Re: The function of religion ? on: January 08, 2018, 07:54:54 PM
Dont get me wrong, I do think that religious values in general, like helping the poor, sharing is caring, love the ones your with etc. are good things, its just the people in charge that have misused the power that has been given to them. My point is that believing in god is something that everyone should decide for himself, from the inside. Its not about showing off to others how religious you are by going to church. Its a very personal thing, of which there is no need to talk about because our world is full of different views that need to coexist.
418  Other / Off-topic / Re: The function of religion ? on: January 08, 2018, 07:51:05 PM
I think that religion was invented to control people. Many people are mentally unstable or need some sort of hold in life that they can believe in, therefore religion is the perfect tool. Its easy to manipulate people with religious views. I hope that people someday realize the benefits that religion has brought so far - should be clear how minor those are compared to the disaster that it has brought over history of humankind.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hold Bitcoins or buy Altcoins with it on: January 08, 2018, 07:48:06 PM
One of the most important rules while investing is: do not put all eggs in one basket. So if you so far only have Bitcoin (which should have brought great returns of your investment already) it would be advisable to diversify your portfolio now. I would invest at least 50% of the current Bitcoin holdings into promising alts. As the bull run on altcoins has only begun, this can be very profitable in the near future.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Amazing profits from ICO’s? ✅ on: January 08, 2018, 07:45:55 PM
There surely are huge profits to be made with ICO's, but only if you manage to pick the right ones. As there are too many projects to keep oversight at the moment I would always try to focus on projects that have a working product already and not only invest in mere ideas, because the risk is high that these ideas might never get realized by the projects. There is a lot of research needed to find the true gems among all those ICO's. But there surely are gems among them, those will bring great returns!
