4161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why many projects are dead on: November 04, 2018, 10:22:45 PM
Maybe at this time there are many companies who die because of team members who have given up on working hard and finding a way out of a problem because they are a little desperate to see the bad price movements shown by the market.
Projects will not be able to have any Blockchain technology if they are not legit. That is why they are not around anymore.
They still be able to have blockchain technology, Blockchan is a free technology, people just need to know how it works and how to implement
and anyone could pretty much deploy any blockchain technology according to their respective knowledge in regard of programming and implementation.
4162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC in crypto, does it really require? on: November 04, 2018, 10:20:44 PM
Each team decides whether to enter the KYC procedure. Bad when the team does not report this in advance. There have been cases when investors have invested their money in the project. After that, the team reported: for investors to get their money, they need to go through KYC. This is not correct.
While most of the time it's the investor that too lazy to read the terms & agreement I think it's also a necessary thing for the project to make a warning, I mean a big warning that it requires KYC to invest into their project. Hiding the KYC is just seems like a trickery from the investor side.
4163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which site are you using for keeping track of the value of tokens? on: November 04, 2018, 10:18:04 PM
So, there are a lot of sites on the market keeping track of the value of our tokens. Of course coinmarketcap.com is most used. But I don't like it that much. On the homepage there is just too little information and I can't keep track on my portfolio.

I'm using livecoinwatch.com a lot. More information and the possibility to built up a portfolio. But it's also kinda buggy.

So, I'm still looking for the perfect solution. Which site or app are you guys using to keep track of your portfolio?

rate on the coinmarketcap is not updated in real time so personally I prefer to use "Trader Tab" an Android based application but this also has deficiency because not all exchanges are there
while to track new altcoin that has been listing in the exchange you can use Sfomo
If you want real time price tracker how about fetching the data from the exchanges itself, coinmarketcap is there for people who want to look at the price and then leave it be not observing the market all day. People who trying to observe the market for a long time need to fetch their own market data.
4164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks disappear because of cryptocurrency? on: November 04, 2018, 02:54:30 PM
The bank and cryptocurrency are opponents. The cryptocurrency in the future will strongly disturb a banking system. The cryptocurrency will win.
The fact that both of them have quite the opposite nature is making it kinda true that both are opponents or competition to each other.
However, we'll need to wait and see in the future which will win.
If cryptocurrency could keep up and still offering its "quirks" then maybe there's a slight chance.
4165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain or Cryptpcurrency? on: November 04, 2018, 02:49:59 PM
Hey guys, there are two different difenitions: Blockchain and Cryptocurrency. A lot of experts say that crypto is going to die soon but blockchain itself is a very useful technology. What do you think are they right? Do you think blockchain can exist without cryptocurrency?

Blockchain is a useful and revolutionary technology, will live and grow long. Blockchain can live alone without any token. Cryptocurrency, along with blockchain and must be created, stored and transmitted on a blockchain network. Many cryptos has no real application at all. Over 90% of coins will die soon but I think that some coins will get more adoption
Blockchain is really useful until it can't catch up anymore with the technology and there'll eventually a system that's more efficient than blockchain but we're nowhere there and if blockchain could be developed continously it will take some time to overtake the rate of blockchain efficiency.
4166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Binance became world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange on: November 04, 2018, 10:12:36 AM
The Binance exchange is well aware of some shortcomings in the market. And they closed all the shortcomings. It was very clever to create his own stock token. Thus both their own tokens gained value and people in the stock market used it as a fee. Thus, both the stock market and the user was won.

It's not an uncommon practice done by some of exchangers though. Other exchanges usually have created their own token that will benefits the user if they hold it.
The same thing goes for KCS. However there's also many more exchanges that did the same exact thing but just didn't get enough attention because their small user base.
4167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Projects are abusing blockchain technology. on: November 04, 2018, 05:45:19 AM
Abuses are common with the technologies that we have. It made our lives easier but on the other hand it does also have something bad as an effect. This might be is just the same with the blockchain technology. Some ICOs are not even so serious about their project and ended up a failure or maybe worst as a scam. Only good projects should be in the blockchain.
People who have normal mind would easily find out that kind of phishy project instantly and then refuse to proceed further because they know it worth nothing.
That's why when there's a new project it's community to judge and they could freely ask about the suspicion.
4168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite way to cash out? on: November 03, 2018, 10:38:10 PM
Hi, everybo dy.  :)I have a plastic card Skrill through it quickly and easily withdraw money. Cool
That's indeed the most convenient way and looks cool too but the withdrawal fee is usually too high that you need to think twice before even withdrawing your money from the local ATM. I used few times and always come to think that the fee is just too high for merely taking my own money.
4169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Stable Token the key to mass adoption? on: November 03, 2018, 10:33:37 PM
Stability can only occur in a balance ecosystem. Fluctuation occurs when it is not. Stable coin pegged to a fiat currency need to be recognized by mass adoption that it serve the same function. Alipay and wepay are both in a way stable coins, issuing a token pegged to rmb where you can only use within their ecosystem. But if the coin is stable, what is the draw to investors and the value added to users, as compared to fiat currency. A coin cannot be both speculative and stable. I believe the only way is through dual token mechanism. What do you think?

PS: we have engineer and come out with our ICO based on this.
https://veritag.org/
https://t.me/veriHUB

If there us any coin that is truly known to be stable, it might not be too good for investors. Such coin even has every likelihood to later be rejected. It might even b given so many titles, like being called a scam coin.
You can lunch your project and we would see how things would play out.
Well there's USDT and TrueUSD people seem totally fine for me even the overall market cap is huge enough to assume that so many people uses stablecoin to reserve their wealth.
The existence of stablecoin honestly really helps a lot. if it can be adopted for payment processor in the future that'd be great.
4170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum 2.0 is coming soon on: November 03, 2018, 08:13:59 AM
Vitalik already announced new new Ethereum 2.0 but the price from it did not increase. Let's wait for succession of events now.
Still announcement and is not implemented yet, what do you expect?. However the main purpose of this new technology implementation is to improve the overall ability of the network, if the price goes up aswell, consider that as additional bonus.
4171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the governments kill cryptocurrencies on: November 02, 2018, 04:06:33 PM
No way, man. Governments make collaborations with crypto start ups, so they will never kill crypto.
It is blockchain technology, new step in revolution.
crypto is a very good technology because it has many advantages so the government will support it but requires a lot of processes because crypto still has some weaknesses that need to be corrected. Currently there are many fraudulent projects or coins that need to be removed so that crypto will be safer and accepted by many people.
Most of the time it is blockchain that is deemed to be revolutionary. However crypto as a product could indirectly be considered as a result of that more advanced technology and it's not wrong to be said so but just not really right. Talking about fraud, it's everywhere and really hard to be annihilated, the most effective way is proper regulation.
4172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Postponing Listing on the Exchange due bear market conditions on: November 02, 2018, 03:29:28 PM
Now almost all the projects carry lists and do what I think is right. Those projects that went on the stock exchange lost 80-90% of the cost. It is better to wait until the market stops falling and stabilizes.
This mainly happened to those overrated coins that actually have zero utilities but people are still buying it anyway. If the coin is really useful it won't lose its value that easily regardless of the bearish market.
However,ICOs that can't reach cap usually lost its value in an instant though.
4173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: End of ethereum? on: November 02, 2018, 02:59:49 PM
It is not the end of Ethereum, because the whole market is going down and not only this coin. If you have such a logic, you can say, that this is the end of all crypto currencies. But it wouldn't be so smart, because it is just a red market that will change soon.
true, if this condition is considered as the end of ethereum then we have to consider this is the end of all crypto Undecided and i don't think this is the end of anything, this is just a common condition in crypto industry
People are just getting hyped up over something irrelevant. The end of Ethereum will only come when there's a massive banned for blockchain technology or else the internet getting shut down all over the world so there's no more hash power. The value of ETH can't really kill ethereum even if it get down to nearly zero.
4174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are stabletokens going to be the new altcoin hype? on: November 01, 2018, 11:03:27 PM
I don't think so, these tokens have no utility outside exchanges and there are too many doubts about their reliability. At the end, only one or two of them will be adopted by exchanges and in a few months we will not hear about them anymore.
Actually these tokens definitely have utility which is for money transfer and really good at that. No volatility whatsoever and the token is backed up with real world money.
It's a crypto that was created for reserving wealth and it will lasts long because the existence of reserved money behind that token making people less paranoid.
4175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the benefits of Crypto Currency? on: November 01, 2018, 10:31:57 PM
as of now we cant see much difference but in due time we will see it will affect our daily life like for example buying goods , paying rent , and being your own bank its kinda thats far from now but in due time we will see it
That will happen only if mass adoption starts. People are holding back from accepting crypto due to the volatility that's too high. However there's stablecoin but I don't know why people are still not accepting that kind of coin but if they do, they could solve their main reason of why they don't accept crypto which is volatility.
4176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC to airdrops is it good? on: November 01, 2018, 10:26:53 PM
I think that the passage of KYC for airdrops is nonsense. As for the bounty, too ... Then our data is distributed all over the Internet for some kind of not quite legitimate action. Well, this is an option.I personally saw how the guys in the group of telegrams sells screenshots of users with their id cards. There is even a whole base for downloading in free access ... Where does all our data come from? That's why I bypass all such bounty.
True, the odd of being scammed is quite high, our data is really important thing and it's worth more than $500. Just imagine if someone uses our data for illegal activity and as a result we are reported to the police meanwhile we know nothing about barely anything. I won't hand over my data to stranger.
4177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet hacking is it possible? on: October 28, 2018, 11:26:45 PM
Perhaps, since there are specially trained people who specialize in hacking attacks and hacking, and the protection on some wallets leaves much to be desired, but on the other hand, each hacking motivates the project to modernize its protection

It's true that there's actually no system safe in this world and that's why exchanges always allocating fund to advance its security system.
Even trezor is leaked to have a hole in it, but, the amount of people who want to waste so much energy and resources just to hack a wallet is too few that people won't get bothered for that, the only big problem is those scammers that use phishing website
4178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My Ether Wallet hacking on: October 28, 2018, 10:16:13 PM
No one is hacking MEW wallets. If people are losing money out of their MEW wallets then it is simply because they are either using fake MEW sites or because they are somehow exposing their private keys. Otherwise MEW is just as safe as any other wallet. Of course, if you want full peace of mind then hardware wallets like ledger are your only solution
Yeah, people keep telling that MEW is hacked and more nonsense without realizing that it's not the website that got hacked but the user is getting phished.
That's also why MEW and Mycrypto forbid direct log in through privatekey using the website for this main reason.
4179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the benefits of Crypto Currency? on: October 28, 2018, 10:08:36 PM
I think many benefits using cryptocurrency: You can access to everyone, Lower fees, and immediate settlement (Purchasing real property don't involve a number of third parties (Lawyers, Notary), delays, and payment of fees).
Purchasing property still involve third parties lol, notary is there to change the right of owning for the property if I'm not wrong
and the blockchain is not going to save that data but instead save the transaction only.
4180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies? on: October 28, 2018, 09:43:34 PM
I want to hear other people's opinion if you would trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies.
Most of the celebrities that we see who come to endorsed any crypto project know nothing or little about crypto, so how will they know if the project is good or not after they might have been paid. I do not even see why a genuine project with good offer, would need the endorsement of any celebrity. I just have to be careful with such project. Even though there is any other thing that attracts me to the project, mere seeing it endorsed by a celebrity, then i have to take critical look at it.
I have the same thought, celebrity endorsement is just a gimmick and I bet even most of the people in crypto don't like the idea of all this celebrity endorsement simply because the project is burning money for nothing but meaningless exposure to untargeted, wrong audiences. Project should take a different approach to audiences rather than using this gimmicky marketing.
