461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost 270 dollar in roullete plan on revenge on: November 07, 2022, 02:18:15 PM
When I chase losses i won much big so far lol. I increased bet size and had many wons that lead me to be very positive in the casinos ++

I came with strong rich mindset gambling is not my only income.

When i lost i am like a boomerang for casinos in colombia because i am high roller and the more i play the odds are in my favor to recover when i increase bet size.
Good luck with that hopefully the odds will really be in your favor once you try again to recover your losses by tomorrow. Most of the time, when gamblers try to recover their losses, they always lose more than what they already have lost. Just as you've said, "so far" you mostly win when chasing a loss.

Also, good thing that you have other sources of income to cope up with your gambling endeavors whether you win or loss.
462  Economy / Gambling / Re: Haha EDDIE and TEHRANI from STAKE being sued on: November 07, 2022, 01:53:12 PM
I guess you can’t read. This case involves the creation of stake.com directly. In addition, it’s definitely going to go to court and Eddie’s going to lose.

I am certain that more cases will be coming up involving gameplay and not just former employees.
Probably, you're the one that can't read or understand the article you've shown here. The case has already been filed in court and there will be a trial about it however the complainant seems to have little to no chance of winning this case as it is just his words against them not being included on Stake.com whether he is a former partner on a previous gambling platform which is Primedice.

Also, this article has been posted on September 02 and has already been discussed on the forum on this thread "Crypto Casino Stake.com sued for $400 million" and up until now, there seem to be no other cases or lawsuit being filed against them.
May I know what seems to be an issue with you and stake as it looks like you enjoy the lawsuit and against them?
463  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you visit the casino while travelling? on: November 07, 2022, 12:08:49 PM
I've never been to an offline casino, but it's one of my dreams too. Maybe later when I go traveling to Las Vegas I will do it. However, at the moment I only do it at online casinos, maybe because I only have a short time with my busy schedule. But for me that alone has really enjoyed it.
I suggest that you try and visit offline casinos near you before visiting casinos far from your place or during vacation. I think it will be much better if you already have some experience playing in casinos before trying out huge casino establishments such as the Las Vegas casino, this will also help you not get overwhelmed once you try it out somewhere else.

If you really want to try out gambling on an offline casino, I suggest you visit local ones near you so that it won't take up too much of your time. I usually visit casinos with my friends at least a few times a month as it is much more fun and interactive than online ones.
464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question to players: what does really drive you crazy in an online casino? on: November 07, 2022, 09:40:37 AM
Knowing the rules is an obligation, it's the same as; eating, drinking, and breathing.
Indeed. We don't want to be put in a situation because of our negligence to know their rules right? Thus it's a must for us to do our part before playing to avoid having inconvenience because if you already face a problem on their platform (and you're at fault), it's not an excuse that you don't know the rules.

Anyway, nowadays there are many casinos existing already, that means plenty of choices for gamblers to look for a casino that they prefer. As we know, some gamblers are still not fine to comply if there's a kyc requirement and this is a common issue.
Ignorance of rules or ToS of any gambling platform isn't an excuse in any way so it's a must to know them to avoid breaking or violating them. The casino will not be held responsible if the gamblers or users will be violating their rules no matter how much it inconveniences them.

Yes, various trusted casinos are already available out there and it's our responsibility to know which platform suits us most whether it be on the rules or the overall service they provide to avoid any nuisance later on.
465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fees on Dormant Accounts on Crypto Gambling Platforms on: November 06, 2022, 08:58:19 PM
This shouldn't be a case to call for alarm, reason being that you have the option of atleast logging in your account and making just one bet in a year.
I see no reason why one should have a funded account and in 365 days, you don't make any use if it, why then was the account created. One if the company even stated that a message will be sent after 3 months of inactivity which is fair enough to me and the penalty for not use it month even after a notification is still fine.
If you no longer want to use the casino, then you should make a withdrawal until you're ready and not store funds.
Most sites will also statebit clear to you that you're not allowed to use your gambling wallet in place of a bank and funds not meant for playing shouldn't b stored and I guess that's the reason for the actions they take.
We don't need to keep funds for long to avoid things we don't want. Even though we play gambling quite often, if we get a win, we must immediately withdraw it and maybe if you want to leave money in your account, leave a small amount that you can afford. This is to anticipate if we forget our account or do not want to continue playing gambling at the casino. But some gamblers want to try one casino site and only play a few times, then leave it and hopefully, they don't leave a huge amount of money behind.
There are some cases like from one of my friend who seldom gamble on certain sports and E-sports event like a few times per year. Unfortunately, on his case, he only withdraw certain amount and leave the rest of his balance on the account as his partner doesn't know about his gambling activities. As he said, that is also for convenience of not depositing whenever he'll gamble and avoid not spending it or allocating gambling funds whenever he needed to.

Good for him, that the gambling platform his betting on doesn't charge for any inactivity fee on his account. I've also confirmed it to him since he recently bet on some E-sports event after not gambling for almost 5-6months.
466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have your winnings lured someone into gambling ? on: November 06, 2022, 08:48:30 PM
I never get big wins because I am not an active gambler, and if I do get big wins I will never tell anyone and I also bet very carefully.
and the reason is, because I'm not allowed to gamble with my wife and if any of my friends find out I'm worried sooner or later my wife will find out if friends can't keep it a secret because my wife is very religious and I respect her too.
and I think what's the point of sharing the win with friends or other people, because people's luck is different and if they are motivated and keep playing out of envy, it just misleads them because they will keep playing to get it.
Understandable as to why you won't share any information about your gambling winnings to your friends since it's highly likely that they'll pass it over to your other friends, however I'm much more concerned about the lie or secret that you're keeping on your wife since that's the main reason you don't want tell it to anyone is because she'll find out.

I know you respect your wife however sooner or later they'll find out that you're gambling especially if you win a huge amount.

Anyways, if I were you and I also lose most of the time, I'll do the same and keep it to myself  Grin
467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How are Online casino's and sports betting platforms coping? on: November 06, 2022, 06:57:40 PM
Online casinos and sports betting platforms are big businesses like we all know, and currently considering the economic situation of things around the world many businesses are affected and have been taking measures to cut costs in terms of reducing staff, taking loans etc to still be able to sustain operations. How do you think online casinos and sports betting platforms are adjusting to manage the situation?

Actually I'm not too sure, but it seems that online casinos don't require too much maintenance costs like land-based casinos. as well as the people they employ, I don't know for sure. however, it seems that online casinos don't involve as many workers as we see in land-based casinos. maybe on a smaller scale when compared to land-based casinos.

yes, as you said. many companies are affected by the situation that occurs in the world economy, not to mention businesses engaged in the entertainment sector. including the gambling industry that has been affected, especially land-based casinos after the COVID-19 virus and after the collapse of the world economy.

however, it seems that online-based businesses are not as impacted as you ask in this thread.
Again, we don't know for sure, but it looks like the online casino industry isn't too affected by what's happening in the world economy. actually we can look for the data and statistical information if we need it. So in conclusion, the online casino industry is not as heavily impacted as an industry that operates in the real world.
Operational and maintenance costs of land-based casinos far outweighs online casinos. Still, Online casinos are affected the by the economic situation but that much compared to offline businesses. I guess, in some way online gambling platform can easily cope up with the economic situation we are experiencing especially during the pandemic. As most offline gamblers has transitioned unto playing online instead to avoid physical contact.

Probably, most online gambling casinos are doing fine and haven't made any drastic measure as to reducing workforce.
468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have your winnings lured someone into gambling ? on: November 06, 2022, 04:07:49 PM

Do you share and celebrate your winning story with friends ?
Yes, I share some information about my highest wins with my friends, and afterward, I'll be inviting them to have some fun and treat them depending on how much I've won. Actually, we mostly share any way we are able earn money whether it's gambling, trading, airdrop, and other things so that some of us will have an idea about it.

Have your winning story or celebration lured someone you know into gambling because he wants to win big like you?

Have you ever taught or predicted a game for someone which turn out to be a win,how big was it ?
Some of my friends were encouraged to gamble after I shared some of my winnings and they were quite interested in how I do it from which I explained to them about the risk and some strategies I've used. I've also told them about other gambling games such as sport betting and E-sport betting since some of them are quite into sports and games, that way they'll be able to use it as an advantage when betting.

469  Economy / Gambling / Re: I won 1500 dollars on a ufc fight + quit gambling on: November 06, 2022, 03:49:34 PM
And if you are saying that short term means doubling it only few times, the odds get significantly more against you and that defeats the whole idea of martingale.
If Martingale was a winning strategy it would be illegal. All casinos and sportsbooks would have automated systems that can detect that your are doubling down on your losses and they could simply ban you or kick you out if they wanted to. But the odds remain the same. It's just a matter of luck.

I checked the results of my experiment that I mentioned in a previous post. OP was talking about how unlikely it is to lose 7 times in a row. It isn't at all. I lost 8 times in a row at one time and only won the 9th round. At that point, I needed $768 just for another chance to make profit. The initial stake was $3.
Martingale might not be an illegal strategy however it is one way to minimize loss especially if you have an enormous bankroll and patience. But you will need still need luck when doing that strategy as it does not guarantee a win every time. To be honest, this is one of my favorite strategies when playing dice as you can just set it on the automated rolled or bot on the casino itself.

It is pretty common to have a losing streak every time for more than 5-8 times, and you will most likely win afterward however the longer you do this strategy the higher the chance you'll encounter a higher loss streak. I've experimented with this strategy to know how long it will run by doing a base bet of 1 satoshi only and I've experienced a 17-20 losing streak.
470  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am opening a crypto casino / sportsbook what should we add? on: November 06, 2022, 02:34:29 PM
In short, your casino will have the ideal concept of most gamblers would like in an online crypto casino.

Just as everyone has mentioned in regard to the first feature on a fully anonymous casino, I doubt that you'll be able to proceed with it not requiring users to do the KYC process as it'll cause a lot of trouble on the casino itself such as licensure issue, fraudulent activities, abusers and much more that will be against the casino.

It's a nice idea but I don't think that you'll be able to push through with all the features you've mentioned. Even if you do, I'm going to pass on this one as it is too good to be true. Let's see about your casino in a month. Good luck!
471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zero KYC tolerance gambling platforms on: November 05, 2022, 03:49:52 PM
I am not sure how can one expect KYC free casino? It’s financial domain and it has money involved in it so definitely they will need to verify us and with whom they are dealing. Plus they will always have pressure from the taxation authorities to show the information. This is due to electronic laws that will not allow free money circulation over the internet right? That’s the whole reason bitcoin was made by Mr Satoshi. However, this is a system and it will always get regulated with big authorities to overcome the tax burden.
Yes, you have a point on this very statement of yours, and I have no doubt about it, because in as much as KYC is very important, there are some persons who don't like the idea of KYC, but not that it's bad, but for personal security reasons. But due to the level of internet fraud happening now our days, casinos have no choice but to implement it for fairness and ability to monitor all transactions
If there is any abuse doing by the user, the casino can see their identity and immediately report it to the authorities. Indeed some gamblers who don't break any rules, don't like KYC for personal security reasons because they don't want to send their documents to other parties. But they are forced to obey him if they want to keep playing at the casino site.

But we can still play on casino sites without doing KYC because some casinos still allow it, especially if we only use small money to play gambling. And if the casino does a check, they will not find any violations or use of big money to gamble.
It's not all about the user's security but rather it also involves the security of the gambling platform itself such as what you've said about abusers or probably fraudulent transactions that they would like to avoid happening on their platform. If a gambler isn't comfortable providing their identity on the casino, then I suggest they either gamble small or avoid going over the withdrawal limit for KYC-free users and not doing anything that would violate the terms of the casino. But if you want to continue gambling at the said casino and that you trust it, then proceed with the KYC and avoid providing it on other platforms.

472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fees on Dormant Accounts on Crypto Gambling Platforms on: November 05, 2022, 03:17:32 PM
I'm now interested to open another thread comparing top crypto gambling platforms' policies on dormant or inactive accounts, especially on how they would handle funds left in wallets. This might matter to some gamblers who are unfamiliar with these terms and, like me, seasonal bettors and have the tendency to leave a certain amount in their gambling wallets for easy betting anytime. This may also significantly matter to those who are comparing and considering which platform to use.
Looking forward for this kind of thread to be posted soon. Based on most of the replies on this thread, it seems a lot of people are not aware about any dormant or inactivity fees or what will happen on the funds left on their account.

I guess, I'm speaking for most of us, when I say that we thought that being inactive on any gambling platform will only just lead for active disable which can be enabled by email the said gambling platform. Most of us might even thought that nothing would happen to our if we became inactive so can we just go back and gambling anytime we want.

yes it's true it doesn't require CMC let alone coinecko to see the bitcoin price go up and down, but not sure we can know exactly at the value of the bitcoin price, if we see the hourly roll prize is decreasing it's a sign that the bitcoin price is going up, if we see the hourly roll prize an increase is a sign that the bitcoin price is going down, so that's why playing freebitcoin when the bitcoin price is down is better  Grin Grin
There may be a lot of freebitcoin users who are used to making their accounts always logged in meaning they never log out, but if we are not players like that, on the start page before logging into the account there is a BTC price indicator so we can find out live price of Bitcoin.
On cases where users have not logged out their account and leave it signed in anytime then I suggest for them to go over at "Stats" tab at freebitcoin and you'll be able to check the price of bitcoin. Or if users would like to check your suggestion, then instead of logging out, just try and open another tab or incognito tab to be able to see the price of bitcoin at freebitcoin at the upper right corner.

7 login walang sure reward?
475  Economy / Economics / Re: Is long-term employee retention a losing battle? on: November 05, 2022, 01:15:55 PM
Most of the wealthy people are greedy, who wants more money by giving a lot of work loads on their employees with their lower than minimum wage. I think the first one should act is the Government, for the company owners to change this very awful behavior since the beginning. Government should increase the minimum wage because we're in the era where everything is expensive.

Increase of minimum wage is not the solution. If you keep increasing minimum wage it only will lead into more inflation. The government need to have a strategic plan to build more industries so that there will be choice of work to choose from and people who are skilled and qualified will be properly enumerated and won't have need to keep jumping from one job to the other and get under paid.

Exactly, commodity prices increase and if the government raises wages to balance people's living standards, it will cause faster inflation. That's why many blame the government for not taking any decision to force companies to raise wages for workers.
I guess this varies from country to country as some countries had already experienced a ton of inflation for the past years, yet the minimum wage has not been changed ever since to cope up with all the price increases that happened. It is not always the government's fault however there are some where they are such as on my country. If in any case, they won't be able to change or increase the wages of workers, then they should focus on controlling and minimizing the effect of inflation on the country.

Increasing the minimum wage may not always be the best choice but at least make it proportional to the workload given to each and every worker. Some companies set minimum wage on their job, but it isn't proportional to the workload assigned to it.

But still, parang same parin yung nasa isip ko na hindi i-try itong coins pro platform nila.

if you look at the freebitcoin sunday lottery often see the first winner only has a few tickets it's like they are free users who routinely every day do free rolls and get several tickets from every roll that is done every hour

I'm also not interested in buying that many lottery tickets, because the lottery winning is very fair and it motivates that everyone has a chance to get it it just depends on luck, we all compete with other 50 million users in the hope that one day we get an email from freebitcoin because it came out to be a weekly lottery winner, it will give a sweet surprise, don't expect more just do it free rolls every hour

Well, that's probably because there are ton of people with small amounts participating into it. In fact it would be fun to see stats that how many of participants are joining with <100 tickets.

But at least in sunday lottery you have actual changes compared to Wheel Of Fortune high prices. In fact only reason i decided to still continue rolling Wheel of fortune is to get more lottery tickets for sunday lottery. At my level i don't consider using reward points for WoF as buying.
Statistically speaking, even if you have more than 10 million tickets, your percentage of being selected to very unlikely to happen as there are too many players included in the lottery. Even those who just casually visit their accounts and gamble their free roll will also have at least a few thousand tickets which could produce a lot of tickets.

478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal. on: November 04, 2022, 04:33:44 PM
Someone with a strict budget of gambling with $10, decides to start online gambling after been told by a friend, but on signing up discovers that the minimum deposit accepted is above the amount budgetted for gambling. Does high minimum deposit fees from online casino discourage gamblers who want to stick to a budget and influences them to gamble with bigger amounts?
Most of the time, the reason why gambling sites has a minimum deposit is mostly because of the transaction fees especially on bitcoin. This is also the same with withdrawal limit. I don't really think that this will affect any gamblers as most of them are gambling higher than those limits set by the casino.

actually people are more interested in deposit bonuses and promos than looking at the minimum deposit amount, anyways if you make a deposit of $ 1 I think it's too little to play and have fun on a gambling site, at least $ 5 to $ 20 is too small in my opinion to deposit and play at gambling sites,
I agree. Who wants to deposit $1 or less in a gambling site? Even if the minimum bet is one satoshi. When you win you won't win anything.
I don't really think that a 1$ is wrong in essence. I seldomly try to gamble with just that amount when I've already lost all my allocated gambling funds and yet I was able to enjoy my gambling session with that amount. There are some gambling platforms that offers other crypto which is why the amount isn't that much affected by the amount I've deposited, and I mostly use it to gamble on dice games and sometimes I was able to make it up to 10-100$.

I would love to share my insights and answer your survey to at least help you with your study about gambling streams. Unfortunately, it seems like the link is not working on my end as I can't access on both my phone and pc.

Anyways, I enjoy watching slot games mainly on YouTube and Facebook streams, as I also feel excited since they bet huge amounts compared to what I bet on the same game. It also thrills me when they are winning huge wins and multiple combos.  To be honest, I didn't really search for those until they got into my videos while watching games and didn't expect to enjoy almost the same when I gamble myself.

https://i.imgur.com/Rc25dKr.jpg
