I think ethereum is not going to threaten the position of the bitcoin because bitcoin is the king of all altcoin, bitcoin and ethereum has a different role, ethereum having the smart contract even ethereum is the top candidates altcoin who have an important role that good development, but eth is altcoin only as same as other coins that can't beat the bitcoin.
yes i agree with you bro ETH will not be able to beat BTC prices  maybe one day ETH will beat BTC but that's just in case Volume is not for price  Well, you may right if we're talking about both coin prices, but, how about market cap?. There's always a new project that uses ethereum's smart contract and by that, the market cap of ETH keep on increasing while in the other side, the dominance of BTC is now significantly decreasing compared to back then. Don't you think that ETH is can be considered as BTC's most relevant threat up till now? |

Not that the industries consider bitcoin as the new gold but they just got attracted because it has value. But, due to the high volatility behaviour of bitcoin make many companies thinking twice to accept or implement bitcoin.
The rest point you mentioned, I must honestly agree.
Talking about the limited amount of bitcoin supply, I'm pretty curious whether bitcoin could hold on and keep its value (higher or lower) until the amount of bitcoin circulated in the market reach its peak.

Really regret of why I'm late to join this ICO, when I just trying to invest a chunk of my ETH, damn, the tokens are gone and they are sold out. 50-100x only possible in 1+ year. Stratis has set such a record I believe. I don't think it will be possible to beat them ever...
There'll eventually come an altcoin which could beat stratis. But, seeing that the price of stratis has now awfully high, I don't think it could surpass the current ATH Furthermore. and that's why when the price of stratis has been dumped recently, I decide not to buy. But, damn, really missed AdEx. Could've made a decent profit out of it but well, there's no point of regretting. |

AdEx has recently changed its partnership to NEO and it's pumped like crazy just like what you said. But, the pump doesn't long lasts thus the price come back to what it should be, Adex's bubble has gone. Just curious though, how the heck the change of partnership to NEO could affect that much. |

Sounds right, the performance of Ethereum lately is really poor, maybe because the golden era of eth which used for many project's fundraising with a huge amount of money has passed. This year is the dump time for ETH. But I'm sure that ETH will recover its price and hits new ATH as soon as possible, maybe 2018. But still, god knows. |

People are always following the train, if there's someone with the massive amount of crypto is dumping the market. People will try to follow this, what's the reason? they'll be trying to sell immediately in order to catch the higher value of the cryptos they were holding and try to rebuy it when the crypto just on its lowest point. Especially those coins with very low market cap, really vulnerable to manipulations.

there will be big icos in september with eth. so, eth will pump like june. it can go to 500 dollars in the end of the year. and there is a dump sprculation in btc in november because of segwit.
so, i choose 10 eth.
yeah me too. i think right now i will also prefer eth over btc and eth will be new badass in the field of cryptocurrency after bitcoin. we have seen the way price of the bitcoin shoots up in no time and after seeing so much growth of bitcoin in that time and now i think its time for eth to shoot up like this. so, i prever 10 eth over 1 btc because it has enough potential that it will be able to give a huge profit in the future. we will see its result at the end of this year or at the start of next near. Thinking about volatility, ETH may now bear the advantages. BTC just hits it ATH and seem to be stagnant for a pretty long time and reach for another level fo ATH, while in the other side, ETH is now currently on its low point. Beside that, any ICO which use ETH smart contract will pump the demands, that's simply an additional positive point for ETH, just my 2 cents tho. |

Ethereum needs some ajustments but I can see it being worth about 1000$ in 2020
this is a very long way you are predicting. i don't think it takes so long to reach that way. At the end of 2018 we will see its price to reach 2018. the way people are taking interest in crypto i think it is really predictable that after bitcoin we will see that eth is the only one which is good enough to takes its place in the near future. The thing is that, Bitcoin will increase alongside ETH, making the price increase of ETH harder. People will think that if ETH just reached 0.5 ETH as for example when bitcoin just reached $10,000 ETH. What do you think? Isn't it will be overpiced? I guess not, but for some people, it is. But I guess that the flexibility amount of every cryptos could handle this. |

Now a lot of ico altcoin project , do projects that can be trusted . This makes i doubt to participate campaign bounty .

All of ICOs can be trusted and they are selling their ICOs with succesfull, the problem is not on the ICOs but on the projects behind the ICOs selling, many projects had been failed after ICOs selling, that is why must choose the ICOs projects that has good fundamental of the projects of ICOs are like the experience developer team of projects, the comunity of projects and usage of products on real life, it will help us to ignore scam projects behind on ICOs selling. You're definitely wrong on your very first point. Not all of these ICOs can be trusted if they don't mention or atleast explain How're the devs behind their project. Better if they use an escrow from well-known people. Maybe you said that because you haven't figured out few ICOs which turned out to be scam due to low profile of the devs. But here, in this forum, you can find it yourself by scrolling through ANN thread in the past. |

If you have already studied and researched the project and still not satisfied, then choose a certain project where you are good at it, in this way you can easily scrutinize that project. Don't put yourself where you do not know about a thing. When in doubt, take them out.
Investment is always full of doubt as well as investing into many company. No guarante that the project will be a huge success, I'm myself will choose to always invest into project that seems hyped by the people but with limited amount of fundraising. Atleast, not those shit project with a ton of coins, or even worse with unlimited supply. |

My advice is better to buy waves, Ethereum and BCC because the coin has a good future, for now, this third price of the coin is creeping up.
Waves,eth and ltc. I don't trust bcc yet but some where telling its still worth a try . Adex quite interesting too. Theres too many coins better classify which youll be needing the most like what is common in investing purpose,cheaper in gambling etc. Well, I think that, LTC is just obsolete. The graph of its price show no signficant movement at all. I would prefer to invest into some kind of new promising coin released by promising project. BCC in other hand, is really volatile and I guess that there's many manipulations have done by some whale. |

Well, talking about Bancor really reminds me of how the price of ETH pumped at that time and cause the Ethereum network to down. Not that usual ICO could cause such thing which is rarely to happen. but, I think that the outcome is pretty disappointing with this one.
